Claudete May I used to live in Palm Coast and Dr. Ahmed used to be my doctor…then I moved to Kentucky (Richmond) and if any patient there want to trade places with me I would in a heart beat, just to be able to have Dr. Ahmed as my primary care doctor again…you guys have no idea how REALLY BAD is primary care around here…I MISS DOCTOR AHMED A LOT, and wish I could fly there just to be her patient again…I am NOT a very easy patient but Dr.Ahmed was always understanding me and was so caring, very throughly with her exams to be sure I was okay! I have not had a true “physical” exam in 10 years…

Deborah Phillips I saw Dr. Ahmed yesterday and my husband saw her today for our annual checkups. We wouldn’t go to anyone else. She is kind, professional and you never feel rushed. Her staff is good too!
5 /5
Rochele Laccetti Harrison Dr. Ahmed is a wonderful professional who cares for her patients with attentiveness, compassion and genuine kindness. She “hears” and does not just listen to her patients. She keeps current with medical advances and is not going to just quickly give you a pill or cream as a bandaid. I feel confident that I found the quintessential physician for me. And a huge “thanks” to her office team who are all caring and a fantastic group.

Theresa M. Troolines Dr. Ahmed has an excellent bedside manner. She listens carefully and explains so that you can understand. She gives you options of what to do for your care and doesnt push you into anything. Very kind and personable. I feel very lucky to have found her as my primary physician. Everyone in her office is very professional and always on top of running things smoothly.

Carmen Johnson Dr. Tanam Ahmed is one of the most caring doctors I have ever had the pleasure of having. Her staff is no different and will go the length to make sure all is well. She is a very patient person who genuinely cares about her patients. She always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. She is diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be. HIGHLY grateful for her experience and wide range of knowledge. THANK YOU DR. AHMED AND GOD BLESS!

(23) Reviews Amit Nanavati, MD:

Suzette Manaker-Moody I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr. Nanavati for several years. He has taken excellent care of a family member. Both Dr Nanavati and Traci have taken the time to explain what is going on and their action plan. We are so blessed to have him in Palm Coast.

J Newton I recently visited Dr. Amit Nanavati, MD, at Advent Hospital in Palm Coast, FL. Dr. Nanavati was very helpful and polite. He listened to my concerns and provided medical solutions to address my health problems. The front staff was courteous, but there could be room for improvement regarding wait times, communication clarity, and their dry attitudes. Streamlining check-in or providing more detailed updates during wait times could enhance the patient experience. All things said, I DO NOT GIVE DOCTOR REVIEWS LIGHTLY, SO BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY THIS: the doctor is great, and I would recommend this practice.

Gerald A I had a catheterization procedure done by Dr. Amit Nanavati on 05/26/22. I had been suffering from afib and was referred by Dr. Huijian Wang to Dr. Nanavati for the catheterization procedure (Wang had done a failed cardioversion and judged that my heart was too weak for an ablation procedure) The catheterization procedure used "contrast", a dye injected to be able to see the heart action. According to my Primary Care Physician doctor, it is a very bad thing to administer contrast to someone with kidney failure and he strictly avoided ordering procedures with contrast because of my chronic kidney failure. Wang and Nanvadi of course knew of my chronic kidney disease (CKD) and issues with using contrast but neither doctor advised me of the issue prior to the procedure. Neither Wang or Nanavadi in fact provided any rationale for my doing a catheterization; I should have been more alert to this but was not sufficiently cautious prior to agreeing to the procedure. I found out that contrast was being used at the very last minute at the very beginning of the procedure (anesthesia was about to start) and told the anesthesiologist doctor (unfortunately his name is not included in the procedure notes) and Dr. Nanavati NOT to go ahead with the procedure, but they went ahead anyway. Notes from the procedure say "All participants affirmatively agreed to proceed with this study". This is an outright lie. The notes also say "The risks, benefits, and alternatives to the procedure were explained to the patient and informed consent was obtained." This is an outrageous lie: the risks and benefits to the procedure were NEVER explained. After the procedure I noted that my kidneys were not producing any urine for almost a full day after the procedure so I went to the emergency room on 5/27/23, where the ER doctors noted that my kidney function had dramatically worsened after the procedure. My kidney function glomerular filtration rate (GFR) reading after the catheterization went from above 15 to 8, which signifies, according to my nephrologist doctor, "end stage kidney failure", a death sentence. When I told Dr. Nanavati about my visit to the Emergency Room after the catheterization procedure in the post-op on 06/27/22 he said nothing. In fact, he just stood by the door wanting to make a quick exit and offered no post-up updates at all. He just left. Nanavadi is not only guilty of malpractice he is guilty of manslaughter. The kidney failure has caused pain throughout my body (mostly wrists, hands, fingers, legs, possibly gout) and low hemoglobin needing shots continuously for the two years after the procedure and getting progressively worse. Nanavati caused "Contrast-Induced Nephropathy" with the procedure, which is a condition understood and documented, e.g. see "Contrast-Induced Nephropathy" by T. G. Gleason and "Contrast-Induced Nephropathy, Pathophysiology, Risk Factors, & Prevention" by M. A. Hossain. Nanavati should never have proceeded with the catheterization procedure and Wang should never have recommended it.

Karin Gallagher Thank you Dr. Nanavati for your expertise and excellent care. You put myself and family at ease and can’t thank you enough for the care I received. You will be highly recommended to anyone needing your care!!!

Lora Stillman Horrible experience trying to get someone to answer the phone or return a call in the days after being released from the hospital after having heart attack. I needed immediate help with medications due to reactions. Fortunately I was able to get help from my insurance company’s nurse. After a week of not being able to make phone contact, I drive 25 minutes to Dr Nanavati’s Palm Coast office in order to speak with someone. The front desk woman was rude and simply said they were having problems with the phone system. I went home and immediately found a new Cardiologist.

Laurie Mazzola Dr. Kretsch is amazing! My husband and I have been seeing him for about 4 years and couldnt ask for a better Doctor or office team, Kristy and Bethany! You all rock!
5 /5
Margaret Meister Dr. Kretsch has been my physician since he started in Palm Coast. I am very satisfied with him and his staff.
5 /5
john campanella My wife and I just moved here from New York and my wife is very picky about her doctors. We came across this office and this doctor and I must say we are very satisfied. The staff is amazing.
5 /5
Darrick Moreno I have been seeing him for several years. I dont know what the bad reviews are all about but he has been a good doctor and no complaints here.
5 /5
FL Lyn (Lyn) Very unhappy with my experience with this doctor. He came into the exam room in rather confrontational manner. I have my medical history documented very well and he seemed offended by that. I have had other doctors compliment when I see them for the first time on how well I have documented my medical history. They say so much has been lost with patient records; especially with an older person. This doctor really shocked with his unprofessional attitude. I had also set up an appointment for my husband with this doctor; when I went to the desk to checkout, I told the women at the desk to not schedule another appointment for me and to also cancel my husbands first appointment with Dr. Kretsch. So, he lost two patients that day who considered having him as there Primary Care Physician.

Kim Hindman I unfortunately had to visit the ER but all things considered, I could not have asked for a better experience. The wait time was under on hour to be taken back into the ER. The wonderfully compassionate staff began to work on me shortly after and although I waited awhile to be admitted into a room, it was so much quicker and more efficient than any other hospital I have ever been in. The entire place was immaculate, as well. Even though I am not well, the staff truly did their best to brighten my days and were successful in doing so! Thank you, AdventHealth for EVERYTHING!!! I would give you 10 stars if I could!

Richard Lovelace A person sometimes visits an ER feeling some urgency, or they have had enough of feeling a certain way. Through no fault of their own, they could do nothing to help themselves. So they decide to go. Humbly and helpless they go in not knowing what to expect, hoping for relief. That’s the way I was the other night. The great thing was the rapid response from a whole team of people. The folks at the door quickly had me in a wheelchair and in a room. The team grew bigger as the moments ticked on and like a fine tuned machine, simultaneously, had me hooked up and monitored all while interviewing me on history and condition. I didn’t even realize they had drawn my blood! My treatment was just as efficient. With a doctor and a PA in attendance, my worries disappeared. The treatment was administered precisely and brought relief quickly. They made sure I completely understood at each step, continually checked on my progress, did all the necessary testing, and kept me informed. Their demeanor was completely professional and their attitude was always lighthearted. I wish I didn’t have to go, but I am very glad I did. Thanks to each and every one.
5 /5
Stephanie Schaffner Nurses all were nice and the staff was respectful. However, I went in with chest pain and the doc went straight to saying I am having anxiety without doing any further testing. After I recommended running more tests and getting the results, doctor daniel fisher told me "my job is to make sure you arent dying right now, and you arent ". Basically just crappy bedside manor and lack of effort in the patients concerns. Rather than answering my concerns with empathy, he Sent me home with more questions and concerns. Not at all how I want to be treated in a moment of crisis. Will be going elsewhere next time.

Rya Mcl My name is Robert mock not Rya Mcl I dont know who that is. Found it when I reactivated an old phone. My experience was quick, I was very comfortable. I was also handled with professionalism. Any questions I had were handled thoughtfully. My directions for care were explained very carefully. 5 stars! Thanks so much .

Bethany Draugelat The office staff that went above and beyond to schedule a very timely appointment. Short wait before seeing the provider. Practitioner, Christy Yorgey, was very thorough, provided detailed education and explanations in a way that was easy to understand. This provider has an excellent bedside manner, and was able to ease the anxiety associated with a first time exam. Overall, it was a very positive encounter.
5 /5
Kim Hindman Christy Yorgey was wonderful! I just moved to Florida from New Jersey and had a lot of anxiety about finding a new gynecologist. I am pleased to say that it was the best and least uncomfortable gyno exam I have ever had (and at 63 years old, Ive had plenty!) She was extremely gentle, so much so that I practically took a nap on the exam table! Christy was also very kind and sociable, which made me feel welcome and put me at ease. I would highly recommend this practice. The place is immaculate and well-appointed, the front desk staff couldnt have been friendlier, and everyone I came in contact with treated me so nicely! Thank you, Christy!

C.R. Carrick I had a very pleasant experience from start to finish with Kristy Yorgey and all of the office staff. The exam was very thorough, informative and comfortable. Highly recommended!
5 /5
Kelly Jones I want to the office as a new patient. I had called around a little bit and the receptionist was the friendliest for sure and helpful so I booked to come in. I also had checked the google reviews which were good and also helped me make my decision. Front desk staff were very nice and I went in for my appointment at the exact time it was booked. The PA or nurse that assisted the APRN was SO nice and made me feel comfortable. Not a fan of women’s check ups but this was about as good as they are gonna get!

Neena Save your money and go somewhere where they actually care about you. Worst experience of my entire life. I was getting another yeast infection and couldnt get in for 5 days So I took monistat in the mean time to help. I saw Caroline Sargeant when I went in. The only thing she kept saying was I dont understand why youre here? I was then told I dont get yeast infections and she cant help me or talk about it because I tried to self treat and took monistat. She was the rudest nurse I have ever met in my life, she had no care or concern for my health or questions I had. She actually walked out on me when I asked why someone gets recurring yeast infections and what I can do to help it. She is a perfect example of someone who went to nursing school for the money and not for the patients!

(63) Reviews Dr. Matthew T. Dorman, MD:

Ben Called to become a new patient with Dr Dorman to find out they are not accepting new patients. My provider said they were but providers arent always right so no big deal. The receptionist informed me of this but said their nurse practitioners were taking new patients. I declined in the most kind way possible, saying I was hoping for Dr Dorman based on his experience. Immediately the receptionist said in a snarky manner, umm okay, and hung up on the spot. I gave this place benefit of the doubt despite the numerous complaints about the office. My mistake...

renee guerrero Dr. Dorman is awesome, and takes time to listen and converse with me about my health during each appointment. Never feel rushed. I leave with a smile. Takes care of my husband also. His office manager (wife) is not unapproachable if you have a problem with any concerns she will speak with you and get problem solved. Mariah front desk is sweet as can be. A professional doctor and staff working many hours caring for their patients. Would not go to any other doctor.

Tim Strickland I have been seeing Dr. Dorman for several years now and I trust him completely. Hes a great doctor, friendly, and very down to earth. I have not had any issues any time Ive been to see him, hes open to listening and discusses options to help. Best doctor Ive ever had.

CLR I have been a patient of Dr Dorman for many years, first as a cash patient, then finally as an insured patient. He and his staff have been nothing but caring, kind and extremely professional. I can not imagine an unpleasant experience at this office. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for being the best doctor I have ever had! Connie Rapolti

Very caring and explains things so you understands. He never disregards your complaints. He will always try to seek an option to help, no matter how trivial it may be. I have been living in Kentucky for the last year and have made trips back just stay with him! I see people complain about his staff. I have always been treated very well by them. You have to remember they are a multifaceted office. Alot going on. Its not just a personal Dr. Office. Thank you Dr. Dorman for your care! Its appreciated more than you will ever know!!!

(16) Reviews Antony Denard:

Dennis Studer Dr. Denard replaced my hip at the end of 2020. 6 weeks later, no pain, no issues and now Im ready for him to replace the other side. Dr. Denard was incredibly friendly, comforting and knowledgeable in his profession. He was absolutely engaging with my pre-visit, before and after the procedure and both post-op appointments. If you need work done or curious about finding the right Orthopedic Specialist, look no further. Dr. Denard is a people person and truly cares about his patients. Thank you !!!!
5 /5
John Heise Dr. Denard performed a minimally invasive direct anterior total right hip replacement on me and the experience was fantastic! Pre-opt, he explained that my hip was "bone-on-bone" and went into detail about the macko robotic surgery and what my expectations for recovery should be. The surgery went extremely well and I was up and walking a few hours later. Post-opt the follow up by Dr. Denard and his team, led by Dr. Elijah Wells, has been excellent. Every time I saw Dr. Denard, he gave me as much time as I wanted and answered all my questions. I am thrilled my hip healed so quickly and I am pain-free. Im back on the golf course six weeks after my surgery! When my left hip needs to be replaced, Ill be going back to Dr. Denard for another macko robotic surgery procedure.

elizabeth owens Our experience here was horrible. My husband broke his hand and was referred here. Not only did this office not perform a surgery for two weeks and half they gave my husband no medication. Told him to take over the counter pain meds. His hand was completely broke his fingers. When they finally saw him they scheduled the surgery another week out making three and half weeks because the dr was going on vacation again with no pain meds and no referral to another dr. After the surgery he said he had to rebreak it twice and put in metal parts. My husband was in unmanageable pain even two weeks after he could not move his hand. I took him to Halifax and they could not believe this man put a hip replacement part in my husbands hand causing severe permanent nerve damage that cost him his job. Halifax they sent us to dr Scott putney he was absolutely amazing saw my husband immediately did X-rays could not believe the “butcher work” on his hand. He gave my husband pain killers that worked and he finally got sleep for the first time all month long… he scheduled the surgery for the next day and fixed the botched work denard did. My husband now has permanent nerve damage. Yes we did take legal action. Not much happened for us. I’m WARNING PEOPLE DO NOT SEE THIS DR I WAS THROWN OUT THE ROOM BC I WAS ADVOCATING FOR MY HUSBAND!

Lisa Caulley I was referred to Dr. Antony Denard for bone on bone arthritis of my right knee. He was a member of the Gillespie group in Daytona Beach. He told me that he was their "knee guy" and he presented himself as a knee expert. After he did my total knee replacement surgery the nurses at Advent Hospital in Ormond told me that he had never done a knee replacement. I was sent home after two nights in hospital. I had only two home healthcare visits. When my Percocet ran out I was in severe pain. His office staff promised he would return my call but he was too busy to make a phone call to refill my prescription. So I was left in agony for 2 days until he found some time for me. Since my knee didnt heal straight and I never returned to work I lost my health insurance. Dr. Denard left the Gillespie Group and Dr. Gillespie would not even schedule me an appt because I was not insured. Im just glad I can walk. My knee is crooked and clunky and achy but it does work. However I have developed a distrust in physicians. My name is Lisa Vincent and my knee surgery performed by Dr. Denard at Advent Health Hospital in Ormond was March 15 2018. I was 54 years old

Greg Howell Met with Dr Denard in the spring and he went over my hip issues. Was very clear and answered all of my questions. He did a hip replacement on May 5th. All of the pain associated with my issue has been gone from day 1. The office continues to check and has answered any thing that concerns me. His staff is personal and professional. Spent 2 weeks with a walker and I am walking now and progressing back to a normal lifestyle. I would recommend him and his staff highly.

Renee Arnold Checked in late at night and Tyler was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean. Bed wasnt too comfortable but everyone has different preferences on mattress types. Pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was average for free Breakfast but Carol did an awesome job rushing about to keep it all supplied and clean. Roseangela checked us out and was very polite and sweet. Will definitely stay here again it was a great price and only 1 1/2 hrs from port to get on cruise. Be nice to people and they will be nice to you!

Laura Fleming From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out the experience was wonderful. Sabrina was at front desk to welcome us when we checked in. She took care of all our needs. The housekeeping staff did excellent job. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel manager, Jason was on top of everything. We will definitely stay here again❣️

W T “TKW” Found this hotel on the Internet while traveling back to Fort Myers. Lately we have not cared for other hotel rooms/breakfast we have booked, so we were not expecting a lot. But, this hotel is clean, the staff are very helpful and hard working, and the breakfast buffet was great. Our king room was on the first floor, very clean and smelled clean. Would stay here again. Took one of their business cards to make sure we remembered it for next time.

Pamela Bufkin This hotel is tucked in off the street, so its quiet, but perfect location to get to everything within 5-10 minutes. The lady that checked us in was so nice, helped us through a computer error and thought ahead to grab extra towels and bedding for the pull out. She even gave us restaurant recommendations for dinner. Housekeeping was great, the room was clean. The only issue we had was with breakfast. The woman working the kitchen was very rude, she kept rolling her eyes at everyone, and she was on facetime with someone and walking around the dining room talking to them loudly. A little girl threw up in the dining area, and I went to let them know so they could help clean up and this women picked up the high chair and threw it against the wall, cleaned up the vomit with just a wet towel and no gloves on, the whole time mumbling under her breath. She seemed very annoyed to have to be there doing her job. Other than her, our stay here was great.

Lisa Anderson Bathroom plug had no power, the blow dryer did not work no matter where you plugged it in, and the tub did not drain. They kindly moved us to a second room, which had a broken air-conditioner. They then kindly moved us to a 3rd room. Everything worked, although there was mold on the wallpaper next to the tub. The luggage carrier was broken so it could not hang anything on it. The workers were very friendly and the breakfast was one of the best of any of that type hotel we’ve had. Coffee was good also.

B Amazing appointment with Dr Davis. We switched pediatricians after 2 appointments with Verdeflor (Pinnacle Pediatrics across the street from advent). After a horrible first vaccination appt for my first born happy baby boy I was nervous about how our appt with Dr Davis would go. After a lot of worrying I can whole heartedly say we absolutely loved Dr Davis and nurse Jessica. The office staff was caring and quick acting dealing with an issue caused by pinnacle pediatrics not inputting vaccine records into the Florida data base. They were caring and kind to us and our baby. Anyone in Palm coast looking for a pediatrician, go see Dr Davis. I wish we would’ve started out with him. The office is clean and welcoming. So much to like about such a wonderful Dr and Staff! See you in 2 months!

elizabeth owens I have had dr Davis since 2012 he is absolutely amazing he really cares and my kids get excited to go to the dr when most kids don’t bc that’s the environment he brings with his staff. Nurse Lori has watched my kids grow up! Now there is a wait at times but that’s expected when he’s the best of the best and the most desired pediatrician in palm coast! Unknowingly my friend has the same dr of my god daughters and we saw each other during a visit on the same day how exciting! I love the office remodel and I love how amazing they are with kids!

Alexandra Staub Dr. Davis has been our kids pediatrician for 5 or so years now and he is wonderful! I see a lot of others talking about how hard it is to get in his office and tbh, it’s never been hard besides a sickness being during a holiday or weekend which is normal and we would take them to urgent care if it was bad enough! He has an amazing bedside manner, is very down to earth and communicates extremely well with our children and us! He always addresses our concerns and if we need referred out we have had great results with those doctors as well. His staff has always been great and Lori, at the front desk, who has been there since we became patients is efficient and awesome whenever I speak with her! Highly recommend Dr.Davis!

Melika Wyatt I first took my son to Dr. Davis when he was a month old and I really liked him. He was very kind and great with him and also interacted well with my older daughter. However the staff was pretty short and borderline rude. Then fast forward two years I took my youngest daughter to her one month check-up. Again Dr was very kind and interacted well with my other kids. However, I did feel as if he didnt want to really listen to some of my concerns and seemed a little rushed. Also, the signs in the office are really rude toned. My husband jokes that he must not be confrontational so he puts up rude signs to avoid upsetting people face to face. Staff wasnt great again. Today, made me write a review. I waited for 45 minutes for him to refuse to even see my daughter for her two month check-up. He just sent in his rude assistant to tell us he would not see us after I told her I would not be vaccinating today. I said I wanted to delay them if anything. She just hands me a sheet with a doctor that will delay vaccines. Just rude. If vaccines work, whats the worry? He could have at least seen her this time since we were there and then asked us to further continue care elsewhere. At least this time the receptionist was sweet. Update 6 months later: he still takes my aunt and my best friend who both either do not vaccinate or delay vaccines for their children and since they are both white Im thinking maybe its a racial issue.

They went over everything with him, addressed all his concerns and explained the plan of action. Coming from Palm Coast Family Practice where you are just a dollar sign to support the doctors wifes lifestyle this practice is very professional and comforting. The staff is very friendly and I did not feel rushed like we were just another patient. I am so happy I have made an appointment for myself and my daughter. HIGHLY recommended!

My husband was dry heaving every morning from a medication he was on and thanks to Natalie. She moved him to one that is so much better no more issues in the morning I can’t say enough good, thank you for all you do I highly recommend them

Lesley Tejeda-Deleon TBH no stars! Incredibly frustrating experience each and every time I had an appointment. Despite scheduling my appointments at different times, I consistently found myself waiting in the exam room for 45 minutes to an hour or more before the doctor would see me, only to be rushed through a brief 5 minute visit. Early morning, late morning appointments, it did not matter. When expressing my concerns, the doctor dismissively suggested I find another practice. The front office staff, the older women were not accommodating at all. Its like this is not uncommon for them and they just tell you the doctors are seeing patients. Then why schedule you with an appointment? This is not a walk-in! This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and I will not be returning. If you have all the time in the world to sit and wait for the doctor to see you, and can tolerate unfriendly staff when you have an appointment, this is your place to go. Good luck!

Anna Thornton My son had a car accident that resulted with a mild concussion, but his symptoms were not improving, so we were referred to Dr. Garcias office as a follow up. His office never called us, I waited a week worrying, I reached out and they told me that they wont see him because he is a concussion patient from a car wreck. The problem I have with that is the failure to communicate that to me and just not following through and let us know. I would have never received a call if I would have waited longer. The fact they dont treat car wreck patients means they dont want to be called into a court case. I told them this is NOT an active insurance claim but a follow up from his pediatrician. They refused to see him, disgusted!

Sam M I have seen Dr Garcia twice in the past month and each visit he spent plenty of time not only examining me but explaining things. His demeanor puts you at ease and you can feel his compassion. He is thorough without being over reactive. He certainly has his medical opinion re tests other doctors need to do and has said "tell them to call me if they have any questions".

About a hour or so later Christine calls and stumbles on her words then says the Dr. Isnt taking new patients and hes not a psychiatrist and they canceled my appointment, this is a message left on my voice-mail. I called back for the office manager and no return call or anything. Since when do you see a psychiatrist for seizures. Totally unprofessional and insuting. Beware staff has no manners or respect and I will be posting this everywhere I can to make people aware

Carmen L Clark It was a bit awkward when I first got there. One of the receptionist at the front was a bit put out with me. She asked me to write down my allergies and I pointed to my med list that I wanted to give her; she didn’t accept. Said I had to write it down. So I forgot a lot of things I was allergic to. But here comes the nurse. She was absolutely sweet and friendly. Ten came in the nurse practitioner Savannah Munier. She was great. She answers all my questions and was very friendly. I will be going back for a full body checkup for cancer.

They kept saying they will call back with your results that was a lie. (125) Reviews UF Health Urgent Care - Flagler Hospital:

I I had a horrible/dismissive experience at another urgent care- which I left crying. I ended up at UF Urgent care bc I knew that I didn’t get a proper treatment plan/care at the first place. I am seriously so grateful and impressed with the service I got here. Absolutely night and day between the AWFUL PA I saw at the first urgent care and the amazing PA Micheal Jencen who I saw here. An absolute night and day experience in quality of care, bedside manner, and overall service here. Micheal was extremely thorough in his exam, listened to all my concerns, answered all my questions, and was overall caring and kind. I really was so impressed with everyone on staff here from the front desk to the radiology tech and beyond. Especially compared to the other urgent care I went to first it was just an insane difference of service and care. I honestly could go on but just go here if you need Urgent Care treatment!

Nancy Lucas Decided to drive a little bit further today to come to this location due to negative experiences at other urgent cares in the past. Every time I’ve been here the staff are so patient and kind and put my daughter at ease. She was really afraid to get her nose swabbed and PJ and the gentleman that helped us before him were amazing with her. She had traumatic experiences with swabs in the past and she was super worried to go to the doctor but they made her feel so comfortable! Will definitely make the drive back down when needed

Christopher Wyland This place is pretty bad. Ive had a few good doctors here, but lately they have been at other locations and unavailable to aid us. Consistency is important, and they dont provide it. I came in with a bad cough last year and before I could say anything about my symptoms I had a doctor (who I cant remember his name) yelling at me that he doesnt prescribe narcotics. His examination took less than a minute, he didnt look at anything besides the wall as he told me his routine about "No Narcotics" at least 5 times and then prescribed me 3 different medications, 2 of which were not supposed to be taken together. When I spoke with the business manager about this she stated "Yes, weve had problems with him before" but mostly just dismissed me. I wish I could recommend another urgent care facility in town, but I have yet to find one that isnt just as bad. They used to do good work here, but the doctors I knew that did good work were all transfers from when Healing Arts closed and they have since moved to other facilities. Came here for a while because they were good back then, but the business itself here has a lot of work to do to get to be considered a good facility.

Alyssa Hinman Came here with my young son and I was blown away by the level of care and treatment. The wait was quick. The lady at the check in was nice. My son (14 months) was seen by Michael Jecen, PA during his first appointment and then George PJ Jones, PA, during our follow up visit. Both providers were the best. They both made my husband and I feel informed and listened to our concerns. They were so sweet with my son and made him feel comfortable. We walked away feeling good and he healed from his ear infection quickly. Thank you both for caring about your patients! I will recommend this location to everyone!

Brandi Kessell Visited this location back in early November with an inflamed cyst in the middle of my back. I was in so much pain. I couldnt sit against anything, and you could see the cyst, which was terribly infected, protuding from under my shirt. I went to 2 other clinics in St. Augustine, which I wont name, who wouldnt see me for over 3 weeks bcuz they were fully booked even tho I was crying and begging just to be given an antibiotic bcuz I was getting sick from the infection. I had no choice but to go to go to UF Health Urgent Care and boy am I glad that I did! I was seen almost immediately. Rebecca took me back and she was so comforting and had so much patience with me. Within 5-10 minutes Dr. Sheikowitz came in, looked at the area and told me it was infected and that he was going to express it right then and give me an antibiotic. I was so relieved but also scared to have it cut open, but Rebecca helped me thru it. She even told me to hold her hand and squeeze it when I was scared or hurting. Who does that these days?!!! Well, this Angel did that day! I was instantly put at ease. Dr. Sheikowitz talked me thru everything he did, and was as gentle as he could be. I couldnt have asked for a better visit, considering the circumstances. He went on to tell me how to treat the area after the procedure and told me that he wanted me to come back in 3 days to have a follow-up. I went home and didnt have any issues. The 3 days passed and I went back and seen P.A. Todd Owens and he was great too. He took out the packing and cleaned the area and rebandaged it and told me, once again, how to treat it in the following weeks. I was given the perfect treatment plan for me and everyone there was so kind and genuinely caring. To those I mentioned I am so thankful that there are still ppl like you all in the medical field..

Liz Baroody Staff was great, I knew what was wrong with me, Doctor prescribed me only three days of an antibiotic, after taking last pill towards the end of the 12 hr interval my infection that started to get under control went full blown again and I was up all night waiting for the office to open. The website said they were open on Sunday but when I went to the office personally I found it was actually closed on Sundays. On the second try I finally found a urgent care facility and the doctor there who treated me could not believe I was only given three days of the antibiotic and said they would have never have prescribed the one I was given and after going back to the pharmacy the pharmacist said the same thing. In addition I had to pay a $60 co pay. Would never use this facility again.

Dr. Mantineo was really wonderful as well as the staff and I cant thank them enough. Very professional, which I cant say for the first two clinics I tried.

Aimee Parker This is the worst Dr. I have ever had to see. He never examines you, only types on his computer. I was covered in hives and he never looked at them. I have had serious medical issues and he refuses to see me even after being in the hospital. He doesnt look at specialist notes or tests and every time my symptoms increase, he ask is Ive ever seen a Rhuematologist when he himself sent me to one and Ive told him Ive been and was diagnosed with Lupus and he says Ive not been diagnosed when all other specialists I have seen have said I have. Therefore I cant get the right medications during my flares and I always end up so bad that I cant walk or talk and my vision goes blurry and I end up back in the ER. I communicate through the whole process with De Leon and still cant get help trying to prevent an ER visit. He acts like Im a hypochondriac and self diagnosing because he doesnt bother to examine or read my history or other Dr. notes. I wish my insurance had more options.

Lesa Moore January 6 2025- Just called Ardent Family Care to cancel an upcoming appointment and the person who answered my call took my name, said thanks with a very nasty attitude and then hung up on me. She never asked my dob or confirmed the date I was requesting to cancel. My husband and I have been patients there for 7 years. Since Dr Alfonso retired, we moved to use Dr De Leon who has since left this practice and the decline has been very transparent! Joe in prescription meds has complicated so many of our prescriptions by calling them in to the wrong pharmacies or calling in meds we don’t use..ugh. That little gem they now have answering the phones , who by the way never identified herself, and it definitely wasn’t Carla, but that individual should be taught some customer care skills and check her nasty attitude at the door before she takes incoming calls from patients. Needless to say, they don’t seem to care about the patients on any level. We will not be going back to Ardent Family Care! Good RIDDANCE!

Shaun S I had a great experience at Flagler Hospital when delivering our baby. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, and the hospital staff was incredibly supportive. The nurses were especially amazing—they were professional, caring, and always available to help, making me feel comfortable and well-cared for. Even though we didnt have any complications and didn’t need to interact with my doctor much, the care we received from the nursing team was outstanding. The hospital was clean, with modern facilities, and everything seemed well organized. The labor and delivery rooms were spacious and designed to make the process as easy as possible. My partner and I felt supported at every step, and the hospital staff communicated clearly, which made the experience even better. The only downside was the cost. While the care was excellent, Flagler Hospital is definitely on the pricier side. If you don’t have good insurance, be prepared for a hefty bill. Despite this, the quality of care made it worth it. If youre delivering here, I would recommend making sure your insurance is in good standing, as it can get expensive quickly. Overall, a positive experience and a hospital I would recommend for childbirth!

Paula S. Lee I received the BEST care at the ER. I went in (11:30 am) with right side pain, and other symptoms, the team got me to a bed immediately, the doctor came in a short time afterwards, asked some questions and ordered some tests. After about an hour, I went back for a CT scan that revealed my appendix was the issue. By 1:30, the surgeon had been contacted, he listen to all my concerns and implemented things to make me feel comfortable and confident with the procedure and recovery. I was wheeled back by 4:30 for surgery. During that time, the team came in asking questions, taking more blood, and getting my pain under control. After hearing bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent care, but maybe that was before becoming part of the UF family.

PARKER HEALTHFx Absolutely Horrible! I visited with my mother who has seen Dr. Gonzalez over the last few years. Receiving feedback from my mother was not always easy so I decided to make a visit and attend her appt for an issue that needed to be followed up on after an ER visit. Visit was rushed, MA/Nurse attending to my mother was oblivious to responses that were made to her questions. How are you feeling today? Mothers response: not well at all! MA/Nurse: Oh, thats good! She then proceeded to place us in a room where she listened to absolutely nothing about why we were there. ie: the ER visit, issues, present condition. Dr. Gonzalez then comes in and repeats the same as his MA/Nurse. I stated again that that was not the sole reason for the visit. My concern was more immediate and that the current issues needed to be addressed. I was met with the response of that was not his problem and that he could not fix anything but could give her more medicine that may or may not work! I was flabbergasted. I finally said to Dr. Gonzalez that my goal was to address the problem and have her transferred to a physician that could work on the cause not just the symptoms. Dr. Gonzalez was rude, condescending and paid no mind to any of my mothers issues. I am currently transferring her out of that office and to a new cardiologist. I work in the healthcare field and am appalled by this physician and his staff. On top of everything else, you can never reach ANYONE in this office. A poster office/physician for BAD HEALTHCARE. Stay away and do not take your loved ones to this physician.

MaryGrace Battaglia I have been trying to get a hold of this office several times with no luck. According to the answering service, they open their phones only from 9:00am - 11:00am. Ive tried to call during this time so clearly that is not useful information. On top of that, the woman at the answering service was rude, cut me off, clapped her hands at me, and would not let me get my concerns out to her whatsoever. I would highly recommend getting your primary care physicians to write referrals elsewhere and avoid this office unless you like the fact that you can never get a hold of your heart doctor.

Phone Etiquette: At the moment, i am the only one available and currently in the middle of a clinical task, can i take down your phone number and I’ll call you back or something to this extent? Who? What? My mother had an emergency, she was screaming due to kidney pain, yet they wouldn’t attend her. They told her to wait because there was 8 other people with appointments, even though none of them had an emergency. It is astonishing that they could see my mother in a wheelchair screaming in agony and do nothing. I don’t blame the people up front but the managers and doctors. It’s ridiculous that you call yourself professionals. I left and went to another hospital. Please if you are reading this avoid this place at all costs.

Anna Knowles Horrible to be on the phone with receptionist. I had been on the phone with Jessica and Victoria. I had going thru too many phone tags and nothing but trouble. I had important paper work from my primary doctor in my hands. They want referral from my doctor to fax it over for just physical therapy . Been calling and calling too many numbers thru Advent health center. Some gave me wrong numbers to too many different departments. Very frustrating. Finally I found different physical therapy office in Palm Coast by heart beats!

CJ Du This place was terrible. The provider did not listen or Do an exam just order tests. What kind of healthcare is that? Go to Halifax health. Worth the drive and wonderful staff.
