Steven Whitmer After 30 years of going to the same office it might be time to change. My medication is now being held hostage for additional billable office visits. Yearly physicals and blood work are now turning in to you must see us two, three, or four times a year. Medications havent changed in 10 years, why do I now need to waste time and money coming in to the office every three to six months?

(522) Reviews Moffitt Cancer Center:

tandc4vr Uncompassionate, inflexible care. Worst hospital and clinic system I have ever had the need of visiting. I have been followed for 30 plus years across the US for my health issues. Moffitt was recommended to me when I moved to Florida. I am now in the process of finding a different cancer center closer to my home because of the issues I’m having here. Look at the recent reviews - many of them are negative for a reason. It’s hard to get appointments here without even simple labs and scans being months out. When you are dealing with cancer, you don’t have that time. Doctor appointments are minimum of five months out. Refusal and inability to schedule multiple appointments for one day so you have to deal with the drive, traffic, and parking nightmare here multiple times a month. Condescending staff who refuse to assist patients with simple requests. There are other places rated better.

John Dix Moffitt is terrible! No return calls, long wait on the phone to schedule appointments. . Appointments are scheduled months out. Not easy to contact your providers. My wife was misdiagnosed/never diagnosed and treated 18 months for the wrong cancer. The 18 months of treatments that were worthless and caused many side effects she still experience till this day. We left Moffitt and went to another Cancer Center. They immediately knew what cancer ahe had. They were able to confirm it within two weeks with a biopsy. Moffitt botched at least two biopsies and never really made an effort to confirm where the cancer originated

Travis Eggers I only know this place from taking my dad. There’s valet parking. A Starbucks occupies one end of the main lobby along with a quiet section off to the left as you enter. The space is open and airy. The staff I’ve met are very professional. It’s seems to be a very nice hospital that I hope you never have to visit.
5 /5
Sydney Hayes I completely agree with the negative reviews I have seen regarding Moffitt Cancer Center and their staff after my recent experience with Aabedah Taher, APRN at Advent Health Riverview. She was sent to consult on my grandmother during her stay in the ICU and she was completely insensitive and demonstrated a lack of bedside manner. It is clear from these reviews and my own experience that Moffitt does not care about their patients and there is a clear lack of sensitivity towards patients dealing with serious illness. I would not recommend Moffitt to anyone battling cancer and is seeking compassion. Please consider Florida Cancer Specialists instead.

Robin Desmore This is NOT a good review, and it saddens me to think that it has a “great” reputation for fighting cancer but cannot figure out how to schedule appointments and deal with patients who have problems after surgery. Never come to an appointment that a resident scheduled or better yet, if it’s NOT in the patient portal don’t bother showing up. Because even though my appointment was changed 3x while I was AT the facility…I waited 2.35 hours. It was emotional day for a cancer patient and stressful as just a for any individual.

Diana Rey Dr Zachary is an amazing Dr. I had 2 babies with him he is always on track of your progress, for me the best is he always go straight to the point. There is not big chats about baby growing or stuff that you can learn by your self. He goes more to details about your baby. Which make the appointment way better no time wasting. They ensure baby and mom health. Happy with my delivery and thankful how special and cared he make us feel during the delivery process. C section both babies. He definitely is the best of the best in Tampa General!

Allison Bello I truly believe all these good reviews are paid for. There is no way for a person to have so many bad experiences with the same team. I am a current patient and listen, I have just stayed here because I don’t like changing doctors since I’m almost giving birth. The doctor itself is good but the overall team is the worst thing you could ever expect. Rude, unprofessional, never pick up the call and are even LATE to open the office at the time of your appointment!!!!!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

Heather Bliss Called and remained on hold for over 17 minutes. When the office staff finally answered she wasn’t knowledgeable about procedures offered and placed me back on hold again. She was maintaining other conversations while on the phone with me. Total hold time over 20 minutes, going elsewhere as office staff’s lack of knowledge and unprofessional behavior does not bode well for the healthcare provider.

Adrianna Castellano I’ve been a patient of Dr.Zakhary since I’ve been 16years old and I am now 30. He delivered both of my children and both burning experiences were great. He’s so full of love and compassion. I was only 17 when i birthed my 1st child and Dr.Zakhary educated as well as pacified me. Hopefully I will finally give him that boy he’s always asking about. Dr.Zakhary you’re the BEST!!

Katherin Abreus Dr. Zakhary and his team are the best. He delivered my baby at Advent Health Tampa and I had the best birthday experience there. I really enjoyed my pregnancy and he made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout those nine months. I have been his patient for over a year now and I would recommend this practice 100%. My family and I are really grateful.

(251) Reviews USF Health Morsani:

Wahid, Wade Abawi This place used to be a really nice facility, but now you are dealing with rude head nurses who talk back to you. They dont do their job; you have to wait for weeks for your referrals to be sent. Heres a small portion of a letter that I wrote about the patients relationship. Dear Dr. Mosley, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to follow up on my earlier email regarding my troubling experience at USF Health. Earlier today, I requested to speak with a supervisor from the Primary Care Division and was introduced to Miss Lori Brock. I approached her with my concerns in a calm yet frustrated manner, hoping to find a resolution to my ongoing issues with medication pre-authorization. Unfortunately, instead of offering support or a listening ear, Miss Brock displayed a dismissive attitude, arguing with me rather than de-escalating the situation. Her behavior only heightened my frustration; it was disheartening to witness someone in a supervisory position respond in such an unprofessional way. When I requested to speak with her supervisor, she turned away with disgust, stating that she had "nothing to say" and returned to the facility without offering any assistance. I also would like to mention that I had an appointment with a urologist at USF. After the procedure, my penis and my testicles were infected, and one of my testicles was 10 times bigger than the other one full of infection. No one from the urologist Department, which is led by Dr carrion, ever called me to check up on me after the procedure. Usually, when you go through a procedure they call you a couple of days after to make sure youre okay, now Im going back and forth to the emergency room it seems like the infection has gone up to my stomach, and even to my upper back maybe around my kidney. This used to be a very nice Hospital now it seems like no one really cares and if you file a complaint they will just laugh it off this is absolutely unbelievable.

Sherry Wickham Tried to make an appointment at the Center for Gastroenterology. Told I have to have a referral. Their policy, not the insurances policy. Not great, but ok, Im relatively new to the area and havent found a new primary care, so lets find one in your network. Today is Feb 5, the first available appointment in the South Tampa area is end of May. Or I could drive 2 hours to Seminole, at the end of March. Ah. So, the word care must mean something else to this hospital system than it does to most people. I guess this is why the emergency room at TGH is always so busy, its slow but its faster than 3 months?

Eduardo E To: Dr Jennifer Costa What you did to me today was beyond disrespectful and completely unacceptable. Your time is not more valuable than mine. I come here and I have waited outside for over 30 minutes, then sat alone in a room for another 30 minutes, only to have a student—not even the person I was supposed to see—show up and waste 20 more minutes asking me unnecessary questions. to make matters worse, this same student usually stayed in the room during my consultation, making me feel uncomfortable and violating my privacy. And yet, because I was five minutes late, you refused to see me? I took time off work to be here, and this is how you treat me? The hypocrisy and lack of professionalism are staggering.I will never be coming back here. Your narcissism and blatant disregard for other people’s time are too much for me to tolerate. Teach your receptionist some manners. She talks to people with an attitude

Geoffrey Cox Very poor management and Drs in there primary department on multiple visits miscoded and countless times trying to fix billing issues that didnt line up with insurance they could care less. Well be going elsewhere. I advise you too. Plenty of primary options in Tampa Bay to avoid a careless attitude.

Jo (Jo) This ER has gone downhill! The majority of the staff is very professional very informative and an absolute pleasure however the nurse Delaney I personally want as a man passed by with his urine sample that is obviously bloody and her look at another nurse in disgust. This is not my first time seeing this particular nurse. Every single interaction Ive ever had or this nurse has been around she is rude unprofessional she gives the dirtiest most disgusted looks constantly shes not friendly at all God forbid you have a question Dont go to her she will legit act like you are just bothering her. Otherwise everyone else I have interacted with at this hospital has been pretty pleasant.

darrolyn wilds I had a wonderful experience. I was taken right back with the symptoms I was experiencing and although the nurse did offer me a blanket or the tv remote. A young man minutes late interpersonal skills made me forget that I was cold. He went and found a warm blanket and gave me the remote and explained the room would be ready in a minute. After that it was great.

Kat B. The worst hospital experience Ive ever had. It makes me nervous to go to a hospital ever again. I pulled my back out the day before and was in excruciating pain. The doctor just made things worse and outright lied to me multiple times. His solution was to push painkillers on me that I didnt ask for, do a CT scan after which I was left in a room alone for 3-4 hours with vital sensors and an IV that wasnt hooked up to anything. They didnt even plug in the hospital bed. After a few hours I called for a nurse 30 minutes past and no one came. So I wanted to leave and go home after realizing they were not doing anything for me. The nurse shoved a form at me to sign that said my leaving would be against my doctors medical recommendation and that he had explained this and the consequences to me and that my leaving would cause my insurance not to cover the visit. I was fuming. No such conversation had taken place at all. At that point I hadnt seen my doctor for hours. I was in so much pain. I was trembling and crying but waited for the results of my CT scan another hour later so I wouldnt be fully financially responsible for the visit and then my partner had to take me in a wheelchair out of there. The next day I was able to go to a walk-in clinic to get the steroid shot in my back that I had hoped for in the hospital. It should be embarrassing that a small town walk-in clinic was able to take care of my problem at no cost to me over a giant Advent Health Hospital in the USF area of downtown Tampa. If I could leave negative stars I would.

Velencia Russell I had the pleasure of meeting Kyle for the second time as he was familiar about my last visit. Then there was Adam who graced my presence. Both gentlemen have great bedside manners and very polite. They knew the answers to the questions I had and made me feel like more than just a patient. Please let them know I said, “thanks for the care they gave me and I see them going further in their careers!” Wonderful visit and the hospital was clean. Everyone from check in to my doctors were great in the service they delivered!

Tina Bland I had an awesome experience in the ED. My nurse Savanna, Dr. Saavedra Roman, and PA-C Gregory C. were excellent and took the best care of me and my family during my brief stay in the ED. Gregory C., PA-C sutured my chin after an accident I had. He aligned the margins of my skin up perfectly and is healing better than I thought it would. Thank you for the best possible care! I would definitely recommend the ED at Tampa Advent Healtj.

JD B Dr. Cruz and his staff have been nothing but professional and Cruz really cares for his patients. I came to Dr Cruz to get help transferring from one medication to another and he has been the ONLY physician willing to go out of his way to help me and be creative in figuring out ways to get the best results. I have been more than pleased and grateful for his willingness to work with me and help me get to optimal health and wellness. Highly recommend.

Sonnie Rivera Today was my first visit with Dr Cruz and I must admit I was a bit nervous because Ive been with the same doctor for many years so I was afraid of changing. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at ease and tailored to my needs. They were very thorough and friendly. Doctor Cruz greets you with a big smile and is very informative. There wasnt a long wait which is very nice. Im very happy to call them my new doctors office and look forward to my next visit.

Mike Malarick I have been seeing Dr Cruz for over 3 years now. I have read some negative reviews about him and his staff. I feel bad for those who view his practice negatively. Only thing i can think of those people is they do not get there "Dr shopping" ways with him and/or they are coming in detoxing or hungover. The office is above average clean and I have never seen toilet paper missing, look to the left of the toilet and there is a basket with extra rolls. I have to take a urinalysis every 30 days and disinfectant has always been available. I was just there 12-17-2018 and he told me I need to work on my blood pressure and weight. He acts like a concerned father more than a Doctor. Thank you Dr Jose Cruz and your staff. The 40 minute drive from Pinellas County is well worth it and my ability to make appointments at your web site is very convenient.
5 /5
Yinersi Crisostomo This is the worst doctors office I ever tried before. I was not happy of them not allowing kids in their office when it’s a “family doctor “. Well they do allow kids , just keep them quiet. How you can mop quiet a baby. Okay, also they don’t take cars payment only cash. So we have a HSA to pay medical bills , we can’t pay with that.. and his customer service super bad. I never had any complaints about doctors , he is a good doctor but his staff. No good are all. They made me pay for an app penalty that never was true . I’m glad I have other doctors options , but sad for patients that has no options .
1 /5
Becky Barreiro I have been a patient of Dr cruz for over 9 years now and despite moving to Pinellas county 7 years ago Ive still made the treck over the bridge to his office as he is such a great doctor. I definitely feel like he genuinely cares about my well-being and for that reason I will continue to travel the 30+ minute ride to be seen. Over the years I have seen many staff with him but the one thing thats remained the same is he and his wife have both always been polite and friendly to me.

Alan Peterson They wanted a $10 co-pay. Okay, but they did not have change for a $20. Used my valid credit card, but she said it wouldnt work. I gave her my backup card, but she said it wouldnt work and she said it loudly enough for all to hear in the waiting room. When I suggested that it might be their system, she was snippy in insisting that their system was fine. While waiting, I checked my card status on-line and found no problems. She still insisted that their system was working. The next three customers that came up had exactly the same problem with their cards, but she still did not admit that it was their system. If they cant admit to problems at the front desk, how can we trust their medical opinions?

Jessica Came to see a particular cardiologist who was recommended to me by a friend in the field. He was great. However, the office cancelled on me TWICE the day before my appointment, via a text message that looks exactly like the confirmation text message, so both times I came in thinking I had an appointment. The first time it took a month and a half to reschedule. I come back and it happens again. CALL patients when there are last minute cancellations. I’ve now wasted time and money working with this doctor, because I can’t complete all the diagnostic procedures I need to actually receive care. Horrible. Go elsewhere.
1 /5
Joshua Yaker Always have a great experiences with the doctors! Dr. Sovani is the most empathetic and intelligent person Ive ever received care from - hes quick, but somehow very collected and a great listener :)
4 /5
Karen Johnson I think the doctors are fantastic (once you actually get to see them), however every doctor and medical group are harshly based on their front desk and patient convenience. Trying to get appointments or questions answered is extremely difficult. Its as if the front desk are the soldiers guarding the doctors from a much needed simple phone answer or calming words. Seems the patient is the least important person in this story

John Nystrom I had very high hopes... After the meeting with the staff and the transplant director, I was not impressed. My impression is they were arrogant jerks with bad attitudes that made you feel worse than when you walked in.

Kathy Johnson Vascular surgeon Dr Parikh was awesome, talented & I highly recommend. Her staff was great except for the non medical person who screwed up my follow up ultrasound. She really upset me and was very unprofessional. However the others, Susan, Traci, Ms B from discharge lounge, ICU night RN Jackie, day RNs Jazmin, Madison, Justin were the best ever. I can’t say enough. Everyone but that 1 staff member deserve 5+ stars. Food was ugh, but expected. Great hospital , & thank you Karen from patient relations for calling & caring

Betty Johnson Tampa General is a really good hospital. Ive had to be in there twice now, for knee surgery and for heart problems and each time I was very impressed. I have met only one staff who wasnt just so very very nice to me and to family. That means to me that the working conditions are good and in a med center thats really important for the patients. If your doctor sends you to Tampa Gen, feel confident its a good place.

One Fat Frog Got the liver transplant. A year post op and it’s still a grateful moment. An amazing team! From beloved floor charge nurse to room H207, pregnant nurse Danielle, Dr Who tattoo nurse, nurse Candy, team member who came early to their shift, Jordan, surgical nurse William and so many other kind souls... Dr Lu most of all... we were amazed by the grace, professionalism and medical knowledge of the team. The level of care was amazing. We did not have liver transplant *yet* because liver was not performing well. This was not the fault of the team and we applaud their willingness to make a tough call. If you’re considering Tampa General Hospital for transplant services I would high recommend. Support staff who also are to be appreciated- valets, emergency Leo, and chaplain admin support. We will be back for our liver before Danielle has that NYE baby boy! Much love- #TeamKen #TattooKen

9.TGMG Family Care Center Kennedy

(86) Reviews TGMG Family Care Center Kennedy:

Ariel Vega Due to having a horrible experience with the Brandon location and no longer wishing to see the doctor, Sara Careers that told me that we never discussed medication refills which was the only reason for my appointment, I went there. Arrived 15 minutes early and took a half day off from work to wait in the waiting room for over 1 hour. Once called back I was greeted by the PA and she was WONDERFUL! Once my concerns for my mental health were being discussed, she went and got the doctor. I stated I needed a refill on my medications and due to the previous doctors negligence, I had to go on withdrawals from one of my medications and I was not willing to go back on it. After expressing my concerns, APRN E. Young stated "This is a referral appointment and the time for that is 15 minutes." They refilled my medication and then she told me I selected a referral appointment not a new patient. I told her I called in for the appointment and was not told this information. Also my primary care doctor was still the same one I did not want to see and she moved to their Trinity location and I would need to come back and restate all my concerns at my next appointment in 4 months for a new patient. She then told me I needed to see a specialist and I stated that I would have to pay out of pocket. She told me that my insurance does cover it. Then I told her I would need providers listed and then she asked what insurance I had. How could she state that my insurance covers this specialist if she didnt even know what it was? I left in tears due to the frustration and I dont cry easily. I also looked back in my chart and I seen her in 2020 after having my baby and then also in 2022 and 2023. So I dont understand how I am a new patient to her. I have been with this practice since 2012 and I will be seeking care elsewhere since money and time allotments were more important. Oh, They billed it as a new patient visit even though I have to go back for a new one. I called my insurance and they said since I already had a new patient appointment, they would not provide one for another 6 months. If you would like someone who treats you as just a number, go to any of their locations!

Jane Piccirillo I was there just a couple of days ago. I was going to go to the hospital but decided to go to the Kennedy ED. And I’m glad I did. I was taken right away and I had an amazing experience there. I was taken care of by two nurses, Stephanie and Amy, who were very caring and knew I wasn’t feeling well at all. Everything just seem to progress very fast. They took my blood. They took my information. They got me to take a CAT scan with a very nice tech named Hannah. . I have to say everyone I’ve dealt with at that ED was top-of-the-line.Dr Mendez, Who was the doctor there came to see me at least four times.. I was kept up on all bloodwork and when they got the results of the CAT scan, they came right in to tell me the results.. I’m just so happy at the outcome and the time I spent there.

Jeri C I see Dr Walgampaya. Its been a great experience so far. The staff are all very attentive, Im never left waiting forever in the lobby like so many other places. I had bloodwork done there as well, and I always have a terrible experience, but the phlebotomist taking my blood got my hard to find vein on the first try. The doc actually seems to care and is great at helping me manage some complex health issues. Im happy I found a good PCP finally.

Mindi Vaughan THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Buyer beware they will charge you for services you do not receive sending a huge bill to your insurance and those costs will roll over to you. They provide primary care services but bill for outpatient clinical services and refuse to correct the billing. I ended up paying over $200 for a doctor to talk to me for 20 minutes. These people intentionally over charge the insurance leaving you holding the bag. I have never experienced such greed from any doctor I have ever been to. I don’t know how these people sleep at night causing so much damage to low income families.

Gloria McNutt Had an appointment on 12/12/24 with Helen Furr, she got upset with me for questioning her on how could I end up in the hospital for a month and a half for something she should’ve seen in my medical work up, she went ballistic on me and refused me my insulin so of course I still do not have my meds because it takes a minute to get an opening! I will be filing a formal complaint against her and the entire facility which is total GARBAGE!

Ginger Welch My primary care is through TGH and she is fabulous. I was sent for a last minute walk in blood draw today. Online says they are open until 5pm, my primary cares nurse told me they are open until 5pm. So I left my job in Sarasota early to get here before 5pm. I arrived just after 4:20pm and checked in at the kiosk. The nurse comes out almost immediately and says the blood draw stop at 4pm. I ask to speak to a manager right then and am only given a phone number to call, essentially the manager refusing to speak with me. The excuse for not performing the blood draw is a sign posted at the kiosk. Ridiculous. Manager did answer the phone, surprise! Said her employee leaves at 4 because she is on workers comp due to an injury. And TGH has absolutely no one else that can cover for the employee on workers comp. That location is extremely rude and unhelpful. The attitude there is “oh well”. Update as of 8/23: I was able to finally get the test needed at Quest around 2pm on Wednesday. My platelets results came back and I was called by my PCP office at 3:34 to go to the hospital as my platelets came back at zero. Would have not been the case if I was tested the prior day when I should have been. I was advised my multiple nurses within the TGH network that my best option is to go to TGH on Davis island. I checked in around 8am. I was taken back right away (my pcp did call ahead and ask that I be seen immediately). Hematology saw me around 1pm, gave me a treatment plan. They then decided to change it without any notification to me and no discussion of any kind. I was given a round of steroids yesterday and today. I have received no other treatment. The pcp for the hospital came in today and was giving me “maybe” and “typically” answers. I told her to leave because I need actual answers from hematology. This physician said I have to wait and rolled her eyes. I have been waiting over 24 hours. My nurse for today, Logan I believe, came in with an irritate attitude after I called for him. He told me I’m delaying my own care because I do not want the “maybe” answered the physician is trying to give me. This is absolutely unacceptable to keep someone waiting with essentially no treatment for over 24 hours and no communication on treatment plan or changes.

Tracy the worst As a nurse I am well experienced on how the system of healthcare works. My first experience here I went in for chest pain I waited over an hour before even being triaged, unacceptable for a potential cardiac pt. My most recent experience was this week when I took my youngest daughter to be seen for a large node and pain and difficulty swallowing, that couldnt wait for a pediatrician appointment. Once triaged the PA Jensen, came in to speak to us, lack of emotion and confidence even saying what do you want us to do we are an "emergency" room, I voiced my concerns..abscess, sepsis, or more.. basically I had to express and stand strong on getting blood work and treatment, so she put us in a room and ordered blood work and us, results lymphadenopathy and or cant rule out neoplastic cause... then writes an order which I didnt catch for po (oral) antibiotics in the form of an horse pill, for a child. Really just not very confident with the care provided even the us tech said what am I looking for and what am I gonna say yeah its a lympnode very sarcastically. Do better, health care is way too expensive to be dismissed.

Robin Leigh Thank you for responding to my one star review, however I have called you multiple times AND emailed and no one has helped me. No one had anything to say or any excuses about the deplorable service. You just sent me letters that you will send me to collections if I do not pay my ER bill. DONT let their “response” fool you. They did NOT help me.

Jonathan Endsley I brought my wife to the tgh emergency center, she was having chills, fever, fatigue, running nose, and sneezing and coughing. I know that the flu and covid are going around, however my wife symptoms could just as be one of those things. Over the counter medications were not working for her. We came here to be seen by a doctor to give more insight on whats going on. We arrived approximately at 12:00 midnight and was triaged quickly as soon as we arrived. It is no four hours after being triaged, we still have not been seen. The lobby was full with patients and some just got up and left, to which they have ran out of patience to be seen. We have decided once my wife gets seen, we will never come back to this facility again. The wait time for a patient is well below satisfactory and substandard. When patients waiting in the lobby can take a full blown nap before they can be seen. I may not work in the medical field. I do work in customer service and customer relations. In my opinion this place need a whole lot more of training in this area. I feel bad for my wife to be sick, I am severely disgusted on the way patients have to sit and stew in there illness before being seen by a physician. I would feel bad if someone passes away awaiting for care in this place. I am appalled, disgusted, and down right PISSED OFF. I hope in the near future these issues can and will be rectified for the next patient that requires professional care. It is now 4:30am and we still have seen by a physician. Just plain SAD.

Tmtm20349 So my doctor just up and left the practice with no notice. This left me without a primary care. I received a letter from the group after the fact. The letter is signed by the North Regional Medical Director, doctor Michael Beahr. A practicing Dr within the group. The letter states very clearly "someone will take up my " immediate healthcare". Immediate thats what the letter states.. However if i need medication refills I have to go to an urgent care , I have no one to read recent blood work for an on going medical condition,,, and wait to see a non doctor nurse the soonest to try and get my medications. Why no one in the tempa general medical group wasnt assigned to assume my care " Immediately" is just outright negligence. TGH was to be an improvement im Hernando County. Not from my experance... if i want to stay in the group I wont get in to see a actual doctor till march......So I guess my illness can wait. Or maybe not? So much for immediate. Why would I stay with a group that behaves in this manner? You cant even call the office number, you go through some switchboard. They wont let you talk to the office. The office staff of my former Dr who left they can call you, but you cant call them directly. Horrible this should be something the AMA should address you cant just walk out on a patient without a suitable stand in. More to come.

Kim Stanfield Dr. Brian Roebuck in Spring Hill and his staff, Lady and Rosie, are so pleasant and responsive to my needs and problems. I was referred by a good friend and have been his patient for more than a year. One thing I especially like is Dr. Roebuck’s willingness to educate me about my issues and conditions. This office is truly friendly and they respond very quickly to questions I submit in the Portal. I highly recommend them!

Maria Pita This is a horrible practice. Do not go there. I have been a patient of Dr. Thomas for years but due to her booked up schedule I have had to see other practitioners. I finally was able to schedule and appointment with Dr. Thomas and the staff cancelled it claiming that I am now a NEW patient and she is not accepting new patients. The staff is rude. The supervisor hung up on me three times and refused to send a message to Dr. Thomas on my behalf. She told me that I could go to a new practice because I refused to see someone other than the doctor I have been seeing for yours. Keep in mind that I have TRIED to no avail to schedule with Dr. Thomas but due to her schedule I would have to wait months to see her. Unhelpful, unprofessional and rude staff. Dont waste your time.

Joan McCandless If I could give negative stars I would. Now that my primary has joined this group (Dr. Roebuck). Getting an appointment when you are acutely ill is just about impossible. Call his office and it goes directly to a call center for Tampa General. They take your info, tell you someone from their office will be in touch, never happens. Have to call back the next day, be on hold for 30 minutes and be told they will relay the message again. When you are sick. When you need a doctor, this is the last thing you want to deal with. Then I get 2 bills from them and the billing department says I didnt have insurance at the time. I most certainly did. Both my doctor and their urgent care got my card. You cant even get in to see them, before presenting you insurance, ID, and copay. Blue care is handling it for me now. Im in search of a new doctor not associated with Tampa General Medical Group.

lessel723 My 86 y/o mother had an appt at the Valrico office at 11am. We signed into the “kiosk” at 11am. After standing in line for 20 min to speak with a receptionist, they said we weren’t checked in and they marked us as a “No Show”. I explained that we were there on time, my mom needed to see the Dr and I took the day off work to drive her there. The office Mgr (Jacqueline) called me back into her office and proceeded to talk to me like I was a child. Long story short…my mom DID NOT SEE THE DOCTOR - Dr Wallace & Dr Donnelly need to know of the incompetent office manager they have in their Valrico office.

Sami O If it weren’t for 3 specific surgeons who decided to move from USF/Advent to TGH, I’d never set foot in this hospital. They are short staff and are a level 1 trauma but don’t have enough beds or rooms or staff. GMAB I don’t know how they stay in business! What healthy hospital has a Mc Donald’s in it? Maybe cause the meals are TERRIBLE. Rooms are so outdated and dirty - not cleaned daily or every other day. .During Covid everything sparkled. 5 days in ICU never cleaned. 5 days next stay I won’t be back. Your other choices like Advent, Moffitt, Bay Care - head elsewhere. Their Drs are excellent , rooms are bright. Cancer Institute lovely. But this place I wouldn’t bring anyone in here

Sean Blank Dr.Ganapathi was okay, very knowledgeable. In the office, his nurses were always kind. Trying to schedule appointments over the phone made me want to put my head through a wall and then they dropped me as a patient when nobody else would see me because they said someone else could see me. Except, they didn’t accept my insurance. So I went without follow up care for months thanks to that until my current urologist became in network.

Paradox Monika (MonzParadox) **edit** After my review, I received the call Ive been oh so asking for so I upped my review by one star. But Im still on the fence about the time it took. So Ill leave my original review below. My initial visit was nice and the staff and Doctor were friendly. My issue with this urology department comes with the lack of follow-up after my initial visit. Ive left numerous messages for the doctor to get back to me to discuss prescriptions and course of action after my CT scan. These messages have gone unanswered and I have had delay of my treatment going on a couple weeks now. The only contact I have had was from a scheduling woman wanting to schedule an operation for which I have not had a doctors consultation about so I declined and requested that the doctor please contact me and it has yet to happen. Who schedules an operation without a consultation and without a follow-up? This does not seem normal to me. I dont think anyone in their right mind would want to proceed with an operation without speaking to the doctor. I truly feel that my health does not matter at this office. Maybe they are understaffed and too busy to call patients and discuss a couple minutes on the phone their options but this leaves a sour taste in my mouth. As a USF alumni myself I am very disappointed. Maybe someone will read this review and Ill get a call back finally.

Alex c Horrendous customer service. They do not call you back, respond to any messages, and dont pick up their phones. I had to go to the patient advocate department just to get re-scheduled for an appointment because no one would answer or respond. Now Im waiting on my results with the same issues. They rushed my procedure and did not ensure that I was a numb and began to cut me while I could still feel everything. I was in so much pain. The two doctors only cared about rushing through the procedure to go home. They only called me back to see if I could show up early to my scheduled appoint. Literally the only time I got a return call from this office was from them to see if I could come early so they could close early and go home. Avoid using this place and find another provider. This department is just flat out terrible.

Matthew Spenillo So after waiting a month for my appointment, and having faxed my records to them twice They call me today stating “your appointment is cancelled for tomorrow because we didn’t receive your records” Apparently the office doesn’t make appointments for new patients, it’s a call center So the employee I spoke to a month ago at the call center gave me the wrong fax number, and now I’m out of an important appointment I waited a month for. No consquences for any of the negligent employees that can handle simple instructions like reading a fax number. So who gets the consquences? Me the person who need’s the appointment moment that has done everything right. USF is an absolute joke and I’m glad they saved me the trouble of having to deal with such unprofessional and negligent providers. If you plan on making an appointment with them. DO NOT. She would not put me through to a medical professional who could. Nor allow for a call back. After putting me on hold numerous times in the 25 min phone call, she still refused to let me speak with a professional or her supervisor. Craig Shafer I recommend the providers here. They actually spend time with you. They are very thorough, and have more specialized clinics than anywhere in Tampa Bay. They are also closely affiliated with Tampa General Hospital, one of the best hospitals in the country. This affiliation has saved my life more than once, literally. I am very grateful that USF Health exists, I am extremely ill, but they can handle it all. A very comfortable place to be, one of the only places I truly feel safe. I paid and got a receipt at 2:49pm, pictured. Waited almost 30 minutes until called back. Weight and blood pressure checked. Sat in a room waiting for #DrDonaldDavis for 40 more minutes. Nobody apologized or mentioned the wait would be a longer. I left at 4pm. Worse than paying/being ripped off $50 for nothing, not a phone call from anyone checking on me. From beginning to end 2 hours of my day wasted. I would never ever recommend #USFHEALTHSOUTHTAMPA. Understand youll need to arrive approximately 20 minutes early to find parking in the garage or youll have to valet. Both are poor choices.

Tamy Thayer Wow! Just wow! The ED has expanded into the waiting area so the wait times may be low but holy moly dont expect any privacy. Patients crammed into tiny cubbies with plastic dividers - you can hear everything anyone is saying. And God forbid you get admitted for observation. Youll likely be one of the MANY MANY patients lining the hallways. They have bed #s over any open wall space where they just put someone and then if you ask (and in my case, I had to request it), you can have a plastic divider for "privacy". I can tell you all about all of the cases around me. Dont expect your meds on schedule either and with no call button you cant request them. Cant get help and the nurses spend more time sitting at the nurses station than checking on patients with no call buttons or the like. Honestly I have been in hospitals overseas that had far better conditions than this. The archaic nature of the way they treat patients in the ED is appalling. How this isnt a HIPPA violation is beyond me. And the Fire Marshal - they must have paid them off because there is no way that this is a safe set-up that if they had to evacuate patients in a fire they could do so quickly, easily and without risking patient safety. Also, Im all for young physicians learning the art of medicine but holy moly - the average age of the doctors in the ED must be 29. If you want medical providers who have fine-tuned the art of practicing medicine with experience, this is not the place for you. But if you want an environment where the physicians are well educated by book knowledge and have a lot of "Bulls" spirit - this is a great place to go.

When I was going into eye surgery, Kristen played one direction (my favorite band) and we sang all the way into the surgery room along with the doctors. They made me feel comfortable. And she, Kristen, has helped me. All the staff here are very helpful. They made me feel very safe and supported, they take very well care of me. I absolutely love it. Nicole Monge If you want to die waiting in the ED, this is definitely the place for you! Im literally writing this from the "Emergency Room" - three hours in and I had to inconvenience the tween aged nurse and her two buddies and request some type of follow up from a nurse or doctor. During intake I was advised I would need a cat scan. The PA comes, takes notes on her blues clues notepad, leaves and says "let me see what the doctors want to do next." Whaaaat? I thought that was already established? Im 30 minutes from ripping out this IV and leaving. I wont even say leaving AMA because after three hours I wasnt even provided medical advice, so there is nothing to go against. An absolutely terrible experience. Update: nurses name was Alyssa. After expressing my concerns her and the other 2 nurses thought they could bully me into submission and said I was disrespectful because "there are actual sick people here." Thats fine - I can wait if I ay least feel my concern being heard and addressed. Imagine thinking its disrespectful of a patient to address concern or frustration because you feel you are unheard. Ill be requesting their names and reporting them. This is nursing in 2024 - nurses are apparently above reproach. They actually blockade themselves so, as a patient, I couldnt ask them anymore questions. Doctor has refused to give me the names of the nurses.

Ashleigh I dont get why this place has such bad reviews because we love all the USF pediatric locations. Im thankful this office had an opening for my daughter yesterday because they helped her quickly! Let me start off when the service is quick. Usally, I hate getting to appointments super early because you wait over your appointment time. Not the case here. We were here early, and as soon as I sat down, they immediately called us back. Our nurse was Nikki, and she was so wonderful. She was kind to my daughter the second she met her and watched out for her and extremely great care of her. She was even persistent on what she heard and saw what was going on with my daughter and brought it up several times to the assistant physician and doctor. The doctor and the PA, Anne, were on top of it. I was very consurned that my daughters cough was getting worse and I was right. They gave her a treatment that day and sent the medicine as I was waiting to check out, and it went to the pharmacy very quickly. Im very pleased with this office. Thank you for taking care of her the same day!

M B I was only here twice and I really liked the doctor that saw my newborn son. I believe her name was Marie Claire. However because they do not allow any alternatives to the CDC vaccination schedule we did not return. I don’t understand why a baby, whose parents do not have hepatitis B, needs the Hepatitis B vaccine. The way you would get hepatitis B is through unprotected sex or sharing dirty needles, so I feel pretty confident that my baby will not be at risk of contracting the virus. It also has a very high amount of aluminum that I don’t feel comfortable injecting my newborn baby with.

I contacted USF pediatrics twice today. First you cannot speak to someone that is actually in the office. They have an answering service that has to send messages. An urgent message was put in for a call back and guess what, no call back. The fact that I cannot speak to anyone in my childs drs office is absolutely absurd. So now I have to go a walk in clinic pay that fee just to get the form done since I cant get anyone to respond. We will also be changing drs for future visits. Poor service!

vanessa sharp I have been here for too long (10 years) and continued to go because of the convenience near my home, and I began going when I was relatively young & healthy. Ive had to switch Primary Care Physicians 3 times in the last 10 years because they end up leaving to either a new location or leave the clinic. The last Physician I had for the past 2 years would cancel my appointment at least 2-3 times and reschedule me out at least 2-3 months beyond when my annual physical. It is very frustrating especially since Im entering a life stage where Im older and experiencing more health needs and would benefit from having an actual Primary Physician. If youre looking to find a specialist to work with you and to truly be a Primary Care Provider I dont believe this is a viable spot; However, if youre relatively healthy and just need to monitor your annual physicals/bloodwork, it may be fine for you.

Within a few hours of being admitted I was assaulted by one of the nurses/security. The lower staff generally treat everyone like theyre crazy regardless of mental state. They tended to be very rude and uncaring. Only the higher ranked staff treat you with compassion and dignity. The food was always served cold. They consistently ran out of eating utensils, napkins, cups, and milk. They take everything from you, including your phone but expect you to get better with no access to music or any other therapeutic distractions. They rely on extremely intrusive and outdated tech to keep track of patients location and wellbeing. The chairs and mattresses are extremely hard and uncomfortable. If you end up here, good luck on getting better.

Mike This is an excellent hospital for psychiatric-Baker Act services with private rooms and professional as well as courteous physicians and nurses. You are treated the same whether you have good insurance or not, and the psychiatrists will ensure the patient is stabilized prior to discharge. Dr. Ranjay Haider is perhaps the best psychiatrist Ive ever had the fortune to be examined by. A sentient and compassionate being. Ive deducted one star, however, because of this hospitals food service. The foods served are fattening and unhealthy and often served at room temperatures. In mitigation, I understand the the kitchen had a fire, is being renovated, and thus the food is being prepared and transported from another hospital. When and if they repair their kitchen and begin to offer healthy alternatives to pizza and fried foods, and serve coffee at least twice per day, my rating would be 5 stars. I was discharged on 1/3/25.

Mike McNamara i won’t give any stars if that was an option. i started coming to see Chelsea Pierra years ago. i was prescribed lexapro and xanax. she went on maternity leave and i won my ssdi case and got medicare. i broke my back in 8 places in2007 and have an intrathecal pain pump that injects morphine and baclofen into my spinal canal so i could tolerate pain to continue to work as Director of agronomy at private golf clubs. i called and went for an appointment to refill my meds. The Nurse informed me the Chelsea was on maternity leave for 3 more months. i asked if she could just give me same scripts as last appointment. they had 2 refills and i could see Chelse when she returned and we scheduled appointment. i went to CVS and it was no surprise that she didn’t have refills incuded. i made an appointment and went back next month for refills again. i asked what happened to refills. i told her i was wasting time and money by coming in. she told me that i just had to call and they would call in my scripts. i went to cvs again and this time I only got 30 pills when bottle says take one tablet by mouth 3 times daily. that would be 30 days x3 a day=90. i called and of course the receptionist couldn’t get a hold of anyone. i called everyday and same thing with no returned calls. this medication you are not just supposed to stop cold turkey, you are supposed to wean off. everytime i got my bottles a different Dr’s name was on the bottle. i was also getting billed for these dr’s that i have never even met. they are committing insurance fraud and could not care less about their patients, as long as they were getting paid. I think the DES should check them out.

Renée V Johnson I had the worst experience at this facility in my adult life. I was referred to this facility after an emergency room visit whereby the findings required immediate medical attention and my primary left the practice. My first encounter was with the receptionist that was rude and dismissive when I was trying to provide information for the doctor on why I was coming in. It was clear she didnt care and cut me off as if I was wasting her time. I let them know ahead of time I may be late due to the flooding caused by the hurricane and she stated she didnt care, rules are rules. I arrived 2 minutes late and they cancelled my appointment. With some push back I was rescheduled ... After seeing the NP, I wish I just left. After waiting 1/2 hour...My condition has resulted in limited mobility, severe pain and possible life threatening prognosis. She acted as if I sprained my wrist. My ER doctor suggested a medical device, home health care, meds and follow up with specialists. I was denied just about all. Not until later did I learn she knew little about my diagnosis, nothing about a required device to mitigate further damage, and as a NP could not prescribe certain medications. So her pride was more important than my medical needs. As a result my condition could become catastrophic between now and when I see a specialist. I left feeling my life didnt matter. Veterinarians treat animals with better care than I received today, which I paid for by the way.

Amra Farcheg I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the service I received on 12/30/2024 in the Tampa office with Atreyi Chakrabarti, MD during a scheduled appointment. I was very ill and urgently needed medical care, including antibiotics, but the experience left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. I scheduled an appointment for 11:30 AM, which I was informed would be a telehealth session. I checked in promptly at 10:59 AM and waited for the telehealth link, which never arrived. I messaged the clinic and received a call from Nicky at 11:42 AM, stating that I needed to be present in person within four minutes or my appointment would be marked as a no-show. This was the first time I was told the appointment was expected to be in person. I explained that I was under the impression it was telehealth and offered to arrive within 10 minutes, given my condition. Unfortunately, I was told this was not acceptable due to your 15-minute policy. Despite arriving at 11:50 AM, both front desk Nicky and Aleshia informed me that no other appointments were available and advised me to call back to reschedule. I was left untreated, despite my evident need for medical attention, due to what I believe was a preventable miscommunication. This situation was not only frustrating but also potentially detrimental to my health. I am particularly upset by the lack of flexibility and empathy demonstrated by your staff.

Common Sense The doctors are exemplary, but many of the support staff are less than competent. And while one waits seemingly endlessly on the phone to get an answer to a simple question like "Why did you send my RX to a pharmacy in Brandon when I specified Tampa General Outpatient Pharmacy?" you have to listen to Ms. Prozac extol the virtues of TGs specialty practice areas. Look people, If you cant handle prescriptions competently why should I trust you with a hip replacement or a Watchman procedure. It seems to me that you cant even get a car out of the parking lot without several dings.

Emma Kaplan I’ve never reviewed a doctor’s office, but felt the need after seeing their poor reviews and having a perfect experience! 10:15 appt, arrived at 10. Brought back at 10:05, provider came in at 10:15, labs drawn, and I left at 10:40. I had plenty of time to ask questions and discuss concerns with the provider Chelsea, NP. Everyone was very pleasant and prompt. Thank you!

Thiana Pena I had a great experience for my first visit, Im excited to see how the rest go. Great clinic, the reviews had me on the fence honestly but it was overall great! I will be having my fourth C-section and first with them . I love TGH , and honestly like this clinic more than the last one I went to at the actual hospital. They do have long wait times for new patients, but they do treat high risk so its understandable .

Nelly Bell You will be on hold forever just to cancel/ ask a question/ or schedule an appointment. Being pregnant and having to wait this long and counting, is unacceptable. The worst. After two hours of waiting after some lady puts me on hold they’re terrible. How about someone else answered the other line instead of the two hour and more one, with that call i was on hold for less then 30min. I got no reason to lie the photos are there but they gonna block it of course. I requested several times that i dont want to see a certain doctor because of how i was treated plenty of times by them and they still keep putting me with her. The whole building and the staff need an evaluation no one is listening to people’s complaints when they’ve had enough.

Shannon Paul I absolutely hate this place. I have adenomyosis and fibroids and so im constantly bleeding and in pain. I have to go and get blood transfusions every other month and I have no quality of life. If I were a dog i wouldve done been euthanized. My hysterectomy was scheduled for the end of this month and they canceled it without even telling me why. Ive been waiting 3 years for this. No one there knows wtf is going on. Im supposed to have a surgeon call me. Still waiting...

Wignelly Rosado The worst clinic that can exist. The staff is super rude, they dont listen to your concerns or complaints. The Asian receptionist who works at the front desk is the worst thing that this garbage place can have. I did not choose to be in that clinic and since my pregnancy is high risk they forced me to go there. If you are waiting for a real doctor to see you, forget it, because you will only be seen by practitioners. If you have concerns about your pregnancy and your baby, you will be left with all those doubts because NO ONE is capable of answering your questions. When you ask for a supervisor nobody do anything for reach them. I wish I could give zero stars to this trash of a place. RECOMMENDATIONS….NEVER EVER COME HERE

Brittney Johnston If you want to be treated like a number and let them take money to do nothing, come here. If you want to wait to see someone 3+ hours after your appointment, come here. But if you want competent service, find someone else in your plan. I had a new patient appointment at 11:00 and didnt even see a doctor until after 230. I had asked for a work release, which Im a cashier, and was given the run around. Then, the doctor hand wrote a note. When I asked her to fill out the sheet work gave me, She refused to my face and said it wasnt a priority. When I was at work, they wouldnt accept it. I called the office and just asked them to fill it out, and the lady on the phone also told me I wasnt a priority. So I waited and checked in the afternoon. Was told to come in and answer a question. When I got there, the nurse smiled and told me "oh sorry the doctor left right after we called you" Like it was some game. When I went back, I was then told I was not supposed to drive, which made no sense, and made to sign something that said that. When i asked how i was supposed to get home since i live alone and drove myself, I was told it wasnt his problem. As much as i dont want to think this, it seems like if your not Spanish, they dont treat you well. Go some where else.

Sonia Rojas The bigger they get the worst customer service gets! Been on hold for 20min just to make an appointment. Called the Tampa office (813) number only to get someone in Miami who answers the phone to make the appointment. Youd think if they hired a company in Miami to answer the calls and make appointments theyd answer the phone more frequently. Ive made a 8am appointment to not even see a doctor till 10am 2hrs. When I complained they said your appointment was at 9am not 8am. Youd think they would have at least have said Mrs. Rojas you know your early right. Miami answering service made the appointment they even called to confirm my 8am appointment the day before so I know my appt. was 8am. Left hand doesnt know what the right hand is doing. Worst service ever for start to finish.

Amanda Grant I wish I could take stars away! This is by far the worst bunch of "professionals" i have ever worked with. I have scheduled appointments and waited up to an hour to be seen, they never have any documents I request ready, sometimes theyre computer work and sometimes it doesnt, when it doesnt I have to leave and reschedule bc they cant verify my insurance even though Ive been a patient over two years.... I have had over four cancled appointments....none of which where at my request, all because they arent prepared for me. I have had a doctor cancle my scheduled appointment. Today was the last straw Im done with them and I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone who values their time, money and who wants honest wholesome medical advice!

Elizabeth If you take medication every month as I do for a certain condition forget it the doctor will take eternity to authorize the refill meanwhile you can die. Im already on day 4 the pharmacy is waiting on authorization from the doctor to ok my medication. The pharmacy let me know how they sent over a few notices through fax. i also called day in and day out worried about my medication! Meanwhile I am spreading something that is very contagious and uncomfortable but everytime I call the one who picks up the phone sounds clueless??? The girl at the front desk kept saying the doctor already sent the prescription....WELL NO SHYTE!!! WE KNOW THAT! Thats not what I was trying to tell her try and listen before cutting people off then maybe you would have knowledge about whats going on! My first appointment was on Saturday at 11:00am. I had to be there at 10:30 am because I am new patient and have to file paper work. When I got there at 10:30am they told me doctor was running late. Doctor didnt come til like 12:00pm I left out of there at almost 2 pm with three kids under the age of 9. All the honest truth. I would NOT recommend his place! RUN

juanita sanchez Used to be good but service keeps getting worse. Did all my births through them but after 10 years I am transferring to Baycare. It is impossible to make a sick child appointment these days. I dont mind the students, but sometimes the wait between students and actual doctor takes an extra 30 minutes so every visit you have to plan for 2 hours. Lastly, I guess I forgot about the well checks for my son for 2 years, even though we have been to the doctor multiple times in that span as needed when he got sick. Just had to do their urgent care since as mentioned, it is impossible to find a spot for a sick child. So now when I try and make the well check appointment I am told he has to be seen as new patient now. But for new patients you cant just make an appointment, you have to do a new patient and then they will do the well check (again he has been going here since he was born 10 years ago). So that would mean about 4-5 hours to get a well check, and a new patient appointment that is probably not covered by insurance. So no, we decided to just change providers. For routine pediatric care, is just not worth it. Most doctors are great here, but the system/logistics is just too burdensome.

Family Of Shepherds If I could give this place a 0 star I would. Both of my daughters go here now for a year and a half. That has given plenty of time to evaluate the type of care that is provided at this location. In all my 43 years of living this is the absolute worst doctors office I have ever been to. One of my daughters has been special needs her entire life. This doctors office has continued to not do thier jobs appropriately to make sure my daughters get the type of care they deserve. Further more they have now started to blame our other providers and specialties for thier own lack of care although in just one day three of our other providers reported to me this doctors office has been contacted several several times by all of them to follow up on care plans, referrals and authorizations which is the only way to get services covered by our insurance. Causing my disabled daughter to go without therapy for a progressing disease. If you are thinking about going here please think again. They have in no way made our lives any better. Only have caused us tremendous stress and made our lives worse. After a year and a half I have had enough!

Rosey Ganoe The wait is usually long for surgical followup...they have to be overbooked to make sure you get seen. Im always grateful for them squeezing me in when they can. Days are more important for recovery than the hours you have to wait. Dare I remind the complainers that TGH/USF doctors probably saved ther lives like they did mine? Its not dirty...just could use some updating...old buildings. These doctors are not getting rich off of us with the way health insurance is. I am forever grateful...they have a tough job and they dont need all of the complaints.

Catrinna Dick The absolute worst place to have to go for a person recovering. You sit in the waiting room for well over your appointment time just to be put in a room where you wait almost another hour. Completely unnecessary. If they are so short staffed then they shouldn’t book you. The bed side drs you see changes every visit. I’ve waited over 2.5hrs before then on my last visit it was 1.5hrs wait when there was staff standing around. I was actually made fun of for wanting to extend my temporary handicap parking pass, when the dr assistant said “damn id like a parking pass before my feet hurt too” I had a serious break and didn’t find it funny. I even heard the dr tell another patient “you’re not the worst I’ve seen today so…” How rude and unprofessional. If you can change your follow up to not go here. I’d highly recommend no one to ever go here.

Lindi Tolu The pediatric center is lovely. I can tell they care, and my daughter has received excellent and comprehensive care from Tonya Smith!! Another plus is that there is no tv show playing in the waiting room, but instead there are health tips for children and young adults as well as the time, and temperature, and other fun facts this was very refreshing. Thank you Tampa General pediatrics!

Steven Bronzell Had an appointment as first time patient and had such a bad experience. First, the address through all communications (email, text, etc) is for the entire property with no direction on where to park or what building the appointment is in. No way finding signs on property telling patients where to park or saying "Entrance this way" like you would expect for a health campus. So I park and walk around trying to find anything or anyone to point me in the right direction. That took awhile, turns out my appointment is in a whole different building so walking over there took longer. I end up being 15 minutes late for my appointment because of the lack of directions and then am told Ill need to reschedule because Im late. Im late because of the extremely poor communication on TGHs behalf! I ask them to reconsider and the answer was no. I think weve all sat in a Doctors office for an hour waiting to be called, and if you read other reviews for this location you can see that is a frequent problem at this location. And so it seems extremely hypocritical to me that they would not extend the same grace to their patients as they expect from others. Poor customer service on behalf of Susan Bingham for not showing empathy to the situation and poor communication by TGH when providing appointment information and directions.

Jesse Ferree 8hr+ visit with chest pains ranging mild to severe going from my chest to my back, dizziness and lacking the ability to fully breath normally all the while in hypertensive ranges for BP, just to be essentially told well you wont die going out the door so maybe its anxiety or gas even after explaining the family history of heart issues including an uncle passing in his 30s of heart complications (i myself am in my 30s) Suffered through a shift change which resulted in not a single doctor or staff fully knowing what the hell they intended to do, as I sitting in the hallway just after a CT with contrast I ask to use the rest room to be told by a nurse "oh idk if the planned a urinalysis let me check" disappeared to never to return. So Im sitting there in the hallway with a cup of pee for over an hr until yet another nameless random nurse noticed it and was just as perplexed as to why a patient with cardiac symptoms was told to pee in a cup. Had a screaming mental illness case in a room all night in the er (awesome for bp issues). Left the Er with higher BP then when I came in 171/150 with and just about every symptom I walked in with just be offered anxiety medication or gastric medication. Save yourself from a waste of time, money and mental well being for unless you are a liability to them seems like they just rack up some vague test and run you off.

High Steaks If you ever wanted to feel like just a box getting checked off on a list, you’re in the right place. Unfortunately it seems like their volume of patients has become far too much for them to handle with grace and it’s turned into patients getting treated as numbers on a sheet instead of human beings. I would advise looking elsewhere if you want a hands-on team that truly cares about finding you solutions quickly.
