Mary Pena I was going to my previous nail person for over five years, when I was due for my appointment I called and was told that they had sold the salon. Was I surprised no notice at all. So I had to find a new place. Might I add I was a bit scared since I have only had one nail tech. I google and Tay Nails & Spa came up with excellent reviews and close to home. I said well let me give them a try. Where can I start. My appointment was at 10:00 AM with Tay (the owner) she was on time and ready for me. I was very impressed with the salon, very clean and the staff was very friendly. Tay listen to what I previously had on my nails and went over and beyond to understand my needs. My Mani (I do the dip) and my pedi (which she has to fix one of my toe nails) both came out fantastic!! Everything was very clean and sterilized. I have found my new nail tech!! I highly recommend this salon. Tay, thank you again for doing such a great job I already have my appointment for next month!!❤️

Denisse Moreira When I moved near Miami lakes , I was so worried about no finding the right nail tech . However, a friend of mine recommended me this salon and I started going . I can say that Tays nail is one of the best , or to be honest the best nail and spa salon I found in Miami . The girls are super professionals , specially it’s owner Tay. The salon is extremely clean and neat , every equipment is is sterilized before use , I can tell because every single time I do my nails they grab everything from the machine . Prices are super affordable and the best part is that you can do your own appointment through ig. What I love the most is the way they do my nails and the experience I been having doing the dip powder is just AMAZING . More or less my dip powder last in good conditions 21 days .

Isis Aguilar I love this salon! It’s located in a beautiful “mall of suites” - creating a lush, clean, and sensuous introduction for the venue. Erika’s space, or Serenity Beauty, is in the 17th suite. Im a naturalist and can only do regular nail polish. She not only did an excellent manicure and pedicure but her painting technique/quality is magnificent! My daughter and I are on day 2 of our regular mani/pedis and we’re still so happy with it :-) her customer service is also so comforting. I can’t see myself going anywhere else but here for my future nail-beauty needs.

After reading many positive reviews for Fingers and Toes Nail Salon, I thought Id take a chance. I am so happy I did! I called and scheduled my appointment for the same day and they had someone available, which was another thing in their favor! From that first phone call, to the moment I walked through the door, I felt welcomed and valued. On top of that, the salon was beautifully decorated with bright colors and it was sparkling clean! The owner, Celeste, could not have been friendlier! She offered me a cafecito, which hit the spot, and treated me like an new/old friend! I was placed with the expert nail technician, Midalys, who did a spectacular job! She was friendly, polite, respectful and patient. She took her time to clean, shape and repair any damaged nails, explaining things as she went along. She even offered me a technique that I was not aware existed before coming to this salon, chrome style nails, which I was so happy with. I came away feeling like a million bucks (I did the gold chrome)!! I then went to a wedding, with my freshly painted nails, and got soooo many compliments. juliet rodriguez What I love most about this nail salon is that it’s close to my house, they always accept walk-ins, and it’s usually such a peaceful and relaxing experience. However, today was really disappointing. I walked in at 3:45 hoping for a pedicure (not even a full manicure) and was told they couldn’t take me because they were full without an appointment. I was bummed but understood—until I checked their online booking and saw multiple available slots from 4:30 to 6:15. I left but decided to call and ask if I could book one of those appointments, only to be told they were actually booked and they didn’t know why the app showed otherwise. I live nearby, so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience for me, but it’s really unfair for someone who might book online, drive over, and then be turned away. I’ve always loved this place, but this experience was frustrating and made me question how they manage their bookings.

Lilly Gurney I had a girls day with my two little ones and the girls helping us were very hospitable and warm with a family vibe they had between eachother that made it feel very homey. We had a great time and I got some much needed pampering and my nails came out so pretty. My tech, Yailis was very patient and sweet with me and I described what I wanted and she did a great job at nailing it. Diana and Arianna worked on my little ones which are 6&8 and have a lot of patience and made sure my girls felt special. Overall we enjoyed our experience and look forward to coming back!

Victoria Avadis Giving 3 stars because the work is great and amazing. But the service is terrible. If you don’t mind being treated bad and willing to put up with the disrespect then go for it. I’ve been here before 1 year ago and it was amazing service. But these last 2 ladies I got the other day I walked in was terrible. They spoke bad in front of me in Spanish as if I didn’t understand and on top were very uninterested in getting the job done. I even had an instance where all my nails were regrowing from the the root and the old one was peeling off and even then she found a way for me to have my nails done, obtain no damage or infection, and have them grow back 10x better ! She always tries to achieve my inspo pictures and she ends up going above and beyond each time, super durable! I’ve had the pleasure of getting a few sets from Dairys as well and she is so precise & efficient too. Retention has gone as long as 5-6 weeks ! And could’ve gone longer. Highly recommend!

I have been doing my nails & pedi for years with Martica, started with Gel, then Dip, once in a while with just a manicure because my nails grow super fast and now I have Apres which works wonders for me. Also I do Gel pedi because they last longer and never ruin my polish . Call for an appointment and treat yourself for an amazing Mani/Pedi you deserve it !!!

Jessica Mirabal the only reason I am giving two stars is because the girls do an excellent job, but the owner is very rude. I have been going to that salon for many months and I have sent several clients, I usually go with my 3-year-old girl, my first incident It was that the owner called the girl who was doing my nails to tell her that my daughter should get her feet off the chair, she was calmly sitting next to me, and the last thing was that she called me on the phone to tell me that I couldnt go any further with my daughter because she broke the toilet according to her, the problem is not what we say but the way we say it, of course her way is not good at all because she is always treating her employees badly in front of the customers.

Joselyn Alvarez Employee who attended me did not look like she knew what she was doing. She made me bleed on my toe and tried to hide it from me. She blamed it on the dead skin but clearly she cut more than needed. My toe did not stop bleeding and when she was done painting my toe nails, I still had dried blood. My toe got infected and I could barely walk.

An hour after leaving, gel nails bubbled, the manicurist whos name starts with an M cut every cuticle, multiple times, where I bled and now have scabs on every finger (very painful). She left me with polish/paint marks and refused removing them, saying itll wash off (yet obviously hasnt). The foot massage was non-existent, and a nail that was repaired was not mounted right and was highly slanted to one side. Im grateful she was able to see me for the appointment (yes, I left a tip despite all of this), however the process was messy, painful, rushed, and because of this I will not be returning.

Angela Palacio They did a horrible job on my feet the gel cam off of my nail as soon as I got home and realized the girl doing my feet didn’t even know what she was doing I had to explain to her what to do all they would do is talk rather than do their clients feet I’m honestly mad with the way they came out and the fact it cost $35 and they came out bad was just horrible wouldn’t recommend going there at all the prices aren’t reasonable because for the work they did on my feet I should’ve payed 10 not 35, I had to file my on nails from how bad they came out

Sarah (Eggtoast) This was absolutely amazing I came in today for an appointment with Karen she sat me down helped me through the whole process. I got gel x extensions and she even let me look at all the colors for my nude set. Pedicure was great as well super awesome and relaxing paying was easy as just taping my card. Prices are great and not bad at all will totally be coming back again.

Diana Alvarez Karen has been my nail tech for over a year and these pictures don’t even do the work justice! Her retention is insane!! (my nails literally last a month, even longer sometimes) my natural nails are so strong even though i get Apres and i swear its because of karen. She has any color you could possibly think of and is willing to try any design/style. She is so nice and funny, she just makes the experience a 100000/10. If you’re looking for a good time while doing your nails i would recommend coming to her or any of her girls. Laura did my toes and honestly another 10000/10 did a callus removal on my feet and i swear Ive never had my feet so soft its insane ps. they have snacks & drinks and let you watch anything you want on the tv!

Lillian Smith OK, where do I start? They got a two star rating from me because the actual polish was applied nicely. But the little box they work is so small I was claustrophobic. They have one pedicure chair and the massage feature part didn’t barely even work. I put my feet in Luke warm foggy water. Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. They do not include a full massage, soaking of the feet, it’s not the relaxing experience I was looking for. I will never go back back. For the lack of effort of comfort for the clients. I was definitely overcharged.

Brytni Moreno very nice suites but its a no from me! no instructions on which room to go into. very disorganized nail techs and mine personally had an attitude. i think her name was mariam or something. it was 7 people (3 workers and 4 clients) in a room the size of a bathroom. i asked for one coat of bubble bath and a lighter pink on top and she said i was “complicating” her job. i got french but it is kinda sloppy and i have polish all over the sides nor did she get the top coat fully on the nail. however she did a very good job at cleaning the cuticle. i personally would not go back.

Karina Leon Aylin is the best hair dresser, I’ve been going to this location for 2-3 years and she has always taken care of me. She is very knowledgeable and treats your hair with TLC. Jules Walsh Anaisel was my nail tech and she was gentle, precise and artistic! I LOVE designs on my nails and she nailed the one I requested. There’s nothing like leaving a nail appointment completely satisfied. I’m so happy I found someone I want to come back to!

Stacy Jimenez I truly enjoyed my manicurist but the owner Ileana Perez has ZERO professionalism. She insults her manicurist, talks down to them, yells in the middle of the salon, she makes the environment in the salon extremely unpleasant. I gave her feedback on her lack of professionalism and let’s just say she was AGAIN extremely unprofessional as a business owner. She has very little class and has terrible customer service.

Dianeibis Iglesias If I could give this place a 0 I would. To begin with they only have the outdated location on their website and on their confirmation emails. So after driving all the way to the given address, i was told that my appointment was at the other salon which I could not find the address for. After finding the new address and driving almost 30 minutes in the other location, I was told that the employee I had originally booked with was no longer available. Even though when I got there she was doing her own nails and did not have a customer. I was then helped by another employee who was very kind but sadly did not do my nails good. The salon itself was also incredibly dirty. That’s one of the main reasons I’m leaving this review. The bathroom sink was clogged and they did not have soap or paper, none of the tools were disinfected between customers, and the same container with the same liquid was used to take off everyone’s gel manicure. The container they had me put my hands in still had gel from a previous customer in it and Had a cloudy color. They did not disinfect or change out the liquid in it and Then proceeded to put it away. I left there with an incredibly sloppy and thick manicure and pedicure. They also left me with residual gel remover liquid on my hands that they didn’t even try to clean off before i left. And i had an incredibly hard time taking off at home. I was beyond disappointed and still had to pay the $55. Save yourself the trouble and the money and find somewhere cleaner that will actually provide what you’re paying for.

Cynthia Greatest first experience! Came here and absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly and laid back. Fanny was my manicurist for today and she was an absolute sweetheart. First, she opened up a pack of sanitary tools and used fresh clean towels for my pedicure. She did my pedicure in such good timing and my feet came out looking great! On to the gel manicure, as she was doing my nails she offered me wine, water or coffee which was very courteous of her. My nails were unfortunately damaged due to previous acrylics, but she worked very well with my damaged nails and tried to repair and color them the best she could. Everything was being sanitized in the process, and she used clean towels as well, had no stains, no clippings it was so hygienic. The place was also decorated beautifully and was extremely clean, it really was a relaxing place. I will definitely come here again for my next visit as this is my new go-to!

Yuki I went to the nail salon for nail removal, instead of doing it properly, they just ripped them off and ground my nails with a machine until I was basically bleeding, this is the most painful and worst experience I have ever had. She basically rip my nails. Now my nails are all cracked

While doing my manicure I noticed their were leaving a big gap from the bottom of my nail ( very noticeable ), so I asked them if they can go all the way down. They literally pretend to. What a disgrace, this will be the last time coming here. Wouldn’t recommend. Open for so long I don’t even know how.

Becky Reyes I used to go somewhere where it was really expensive to do my nails and I didnt feel welcomed there. Here I feel more comfortable and welcomed by the owners and other nail techs. They usually do an amazing job with my acrylics and if I feel like there isnt something I like then they fix it for me when I let them know or explain why it has to be done that way. The blonde nail tech does an amazing job with pedicures but she takes a very long time, but a good job in the end. The owners have young children that are sometimes in the shop, they tend to stay to themselves but just know, hope you like kids. Prices are decent for the work, of course I wish it was cheaper but being that this is right by my house and I have been going there for so long, its my best go-to nail salon.

JL After reading reviews I decided to give this place a try. Nails were done well but I was harassed by one of the nail techs who I have never even seen in my life for the entire time I was there. She was mad because I kept my purse on me. Not sure why she got so mad. If I want to keep my crossbody on me, it is my right to. Spoke to the owner she said she would take care of it. I called today to make an appointment and the owner remembered me and told me that she’s never had any issues with the hostile tech and that the tech doesn’t even remember me or saying anything to me. I feel customers should be valued more. I had spoken to her about other services I wanted to try but after careful consideration, I prefer to spend my money in a place where I will be valued as a customer and feel comfortable. I paid $80 for my daughter and I to get a regular mani-pedi and I was feeling uncomfortable and insulted the whole entire time. Sad that a place with potential can be tainted by one lousy employee.

Jenni Lenis Today was my first time going there. I called that morning to make an appointment at 2PM and they were nice. The plaza is small and so is the salon. It was packed when I arrived but I was seated immediately with my technician. Her name was Virginia, super sweet older lady, very personable. I asked for a simple gel manicure. My first issue with her is that she cut too much of sides leaving them sensitive to the touch. She said I had too cuticle, and then I already had a cut on my thumb but instead of avoiding the area, she decided to cut the cuticle making my cut bleed. And then she cut me again on my pinky finger. My third issue, and I might be picky on this one, but that’s my opinion, she didn’t paint all the way to the tip or around the nail. I think she would benefit with more training. I was going to say something to management but honestly, after she took an hour doing a simple manicure, I just wanted to leave. My nails feel rough and sticky. All in all, I won’t be going back. Posted before and after pics and btw, tips are cash only.

Laura Hernandez 9/6/2021 First time coming here and my experience was great. I came as a walk in with no appointment and the wait time was decent, nothing crazy. What I had done was regular pedi and dip mani. Jacob was very detailed and left my toes and hands looking fabulous and feeling brand new. Will be returning :) 7/22/2022 Updated review: I have done my nails here plenty of times about now. Still coming here and I always leave happy. I have now also done my nails with Lily, she is great! Everyone is really nice and accommodating.

M3k_A Amazing nail salon! They had good service. English isnt their first language, but they DO understand it well and speak it great. The old reviews on this from 6+ months ago are false and not true! They newly renovated their whole place and it looks great! They also incorporated a new item that lets you create your own polish color from this app!

Katerin M I really wish I could give this place a zero because they suck!! It was my first time going here and will never go back. The guy was super nice and all but did a horrible job, I asked for something and he did whatever he want it. And let’s not talk about the price.

Katelin Sarria Great nail salon! Amazing service very friendly and helpful. Great pricing as well. Their nail polishes are brand new and it doesnt smell bad. They have brand new equipment and new massage chairs with spa lights.

Kayla Gravenhise I came out here from NYC on a trip and i had a broken nail. They were not helpful at all. They didn’t speak English. They kept brushing me off saying u have to wait it’s people ahead of you. So i waited and waited. Then 30 mins go by I’m still waiting and another worker talks to me and asks what i need done. I explain it to me them & they tell me they don’t have the white acrylic i need for my nail to be fixed. What nail salon doesn’t have white acrylic?? I guess i wasn’t spending enough money for them and i wasn’t Spanish for them to work on my nail. Totally unprofessional and RACIST. They were also talking about me in Spanish and laughing at me, they figured because I’m black and don’t understand too much Spanish, that i was dumb and someone to play with. WRONG ONE. Do NOT waste your time and money on this place.

Isabel Laza After reading all the reviews I can understand why people are not happy most of the staff don’t speak or understand English and may seem rude. I was lucky that the tech I got did a great job. She used sanitized tools and knew what she was doing. Management/ Owner needs to hire staff to clean and organize the salon. Especially the nice hanging lamp in the entrance it has layers of dust. Sad because it could be a nice salon if owners would run it better.

Davdog Good afternoon. I hope this review finds you all well. My girlfriend visited this nail salon today October 14th at 02:00 pm. She was taken in as a walk in and that’s appreciated, but she was attended by someone who seemed to not have any experience at all or is potentially fresh out of nail tech school. My girlfriend went through a bad experience and it is as follows: 1-the nail tech did not use any sanitation while using the tools. 2-the nail tech failed to do a poor nail painting job by causing to spread paint outside my girlfriends nails. there was no clean up after. the nail tech said that my girlfriend can wash off her hands back at home. 3-My girlfriend had to constantly tell the tech to continue adding more layers of paint as if the paint was bad quality or had been watered down. 4-Eventually my girlfriend gave up after guiding the tech multiple times as to how she would like her nails to be and let the lady continue doing the job. My girlfriends anxiety levels are now going up. I understand this anxiety is not the salons fault. My girlfriend has anxiety which is something that many people suffer. she mentioned this at the moment of payment, that she does bite her nails at times, but that the nail job was poorly done and all she wanted to do was to express a concern with the most humble and quietness possible without causing a scene. The owner/manager did not think so. 5-The owner/manager of the nail salon was explained the situation and with the most unprofessional disgusting loud attitude stated, that the nail job was done greatly and that the reason why my girlfriend’s nails looked bad is due to herself. My girlfriend understands her anxiety issues. However, she experienced public humiliation when all she wanted to do was explain her experience in a quiet professional matter without making a scene, yet, the owner/manager handled my girlfriends concern with a very loud voice and drew attention toward them which is what my girlfriend wanted to avoid. The owner asked her to show her the nails and she expressed that they looked great. Then she asked her to show her her feet in front of everyone so that she can judge and provide her opinion publicly. This made it impossible to tend to my girlfriends concern. My girlfriends anxiety went up the roof and returned home with almost a full panic attack and anxiety. According to my girlfriend, even the front desk person appeared to be embarrassed toward the response of the manager. The times of great service are long gone. The times to take care of a customer are long gone. There is no longer any empathy towards the people. My girlfriend paid the whole service. We don’t need a refund. What we want is a little more courteous behavior, not someone speaking loud as an animal for the whole store to know the small concern my girlfriend had. I highly suggest you revisit your sanitation policy, and customer service/managerial skills. An experience that I believe women look forward to, and consider therapeutic, ended in a disaster. People may say they are just nails. I would say it is important to provide great service. Businesses will fail due to poor service and unfit personnel. You have to wow the customer and it starts with the head of the establishment. I will not mention any names but you must know by now who I am referring to. As I mentioned, my girlfriend does have anxiety and she bites her nails at times, potentially making her nails to not look amazing. Yet, we’ve seen her nails done correctly and there is a difference… even if she bites them. Please see pictures attached to this review. The first two pictures are her nails done well. The other set of pictures are the nails done today at Unique Nails in Westland mall. P.s. the main concern about all of this is not the quality of the nail job, but how it was handled at the end by someone who is suppose to be supportive and empathetic toward their customers. Diana Moreno I came in to get a pedicure, waxing on my face. And my eyebrows cleaned up a bit they where nice but when it came to my eyebrows they messed it up the lady tool out way more then she was supposed to and messed the shape of my eyebrows and then didnt bother showing me them till I left and I had saw it in the mirror

Emma Johnson Went here for a pedicure today and the tech cut several of my cuticles too short causing them to bleed. She didn’t take any hygienic steps to remedy it or apologize. I had to perform wound care on myself later in the day. Additionally she used tools and brushes that were not from a new or sterile package like I’ve seen at other salons. Causing for concern about the chances of getting an infection or blood borne pathogen from here. Overall I wouldn’t recommend going here unless you want to spend an additional $15 at CVS on antiseptic and Neosporin.
