Alli Eve Edit** Worst set of dip nails I have had in years. I tried this place because of all the great reviews. Come to find out they will give you 5% off when checking out if you do a review. Within 24hrs the top coat started to chip/peal, Two nails separated from my natural nail.l, and there is a significant ridge at the cuticle area, I can even run my hand through my hair. I get my nails done regularly, same color, same technique. I am not sure what went wrong here.

C Castillo Absolutely my favorite and most reasonably priced place in Gainesville. Henry does great work if you’re looking for someone who does designs, pays attention to detail and such. Hi is the best for pedicures and gives good massages. They have great customer service, they try to work with you if you’re a walk-in as best they can. They offer you beverages etc. I moved here about a year ago and I’m picky about by my nail spots but I love this place overall and never had an issue.

Jennifer Bethig Absolutely love this nail salon! I had a mani & pedi and she did a fantastic job! I’m always nervous because most places I usually leave with 2 or 3 cuts on my cuticles but this place paid close attention to what they were doing and were very careful. I showed her the design I wanted and it turned out so cute! 10/10 would come back again.

Jessica Soares Hands down best pedicure in town (trust me, I’ve tried almost all the salons). The attention to detail and customer service is to notch. If you want a good clean thorough pedicure service, this is your place. Price is pretty average for a pedicure.

Johanna Walker I’ve never been to a nail salon that paid more attention to detail than Only Nails. They go above and beyond to ensure that they take every step to make your nails last as long as possible and it shows! Before I went to Only Nails my nails would break or start lifting within or after the first week, now my nails last 3-5 weeks! Definitely schedule an appointment because they get crazy busy and the wait time can be an hour but that’s expected because they’re literally the best place in gainesville.

I walked in and was immediately greeted by John and after a brief wait, I was taken to a table where John started my gel acrylics, and then his wife Lani finished them. They were both very kind, gentle, and took their time. I’m super pleased with how my nails turned out. If I’m ever in the Gainesville area again, I will definitely stop in here.

Jackee Robb John and Lani are amazing!!! Upon entering the salon, you feel so welcomed by their kindness to the customers and their staff. It is just an added bonus that they do beautiful work, that also doesn’t chip or break, and lasts! I have never had my nails done so well, and I have been to a lot of salons in town trying to find the right fit! I am always very pleased with their work. John does my nails, but Lani is also so sweet and does beautiful work. I am so glad I found them!

Paige Godfrey This is the best nail salon I have been to. I came in as a walk-in and the people there were very accommodating. Some of the workers even helped my elderly mom move around and held the door open for her. We got pedicures and I also got a manicure, and both services were great. I highly recommend coming here!

Val Arango I went to get a Pedicure back in August, since then I been having the worst ingrown nail in my big toe, leading to infection, swollenness and a lot of pain and discomfort. Today I had to go to the orthopedic and get my nail removed PERMANENTLY just because they did a bad job in this place. I regret coming in here and do not recommend it to anybody. I would like to get contacted by a manager and discuss this problem in more depth.

Mrs Chavez Always friendly staff and quality work. They are accommodating and check with you often to make sure you are happy with the work. Kamia Mwango Great nails/design, best pedicure Ive literally ever had! I did do the pedi upgrade to be fair, but the upgrade here is a whole spa day for your lower body, including hot stone massage! My feet and heels have never been so soft! My toes look cute, perfect french tip! 10/5! Coming back for sure!

Jamie Marino Came to Pretty nails and spa for the first time today with my daughter. Ryan did an amazing job on my chrome French, literally perfection! Also, I had my 3 year olds nails and toes painted and they were very kind and patient. Awesome place with awesome staff, will absolutely be back! It’s hard to find good nail people. P.s decided to get my eyebrows waxed also and she did them soooo good! This shop is a gem! If you’re on the fence, trust me go, you won’t be disappointed!

Anna Edit: Disappointing service, and they overcharged me for a regular manicure (without gel) and I didnt realize until I left town. Because of this dishonesty I definitely wont be back. I included photos taken the day after the service, my poor nails are now paper thin and already chipping like crazy. Itll be awhile before they recover from this extreme case of over buffing unfortunately.

Angel Cogar Tee is awesome! She did my acrylic removal, gel manicure, and deluxe pedicure with gel. IQ is also the cleanest nail salon Ive ever been to. Everyone is constantly cleaning and sanitizing.

Nikki Lagree First time customer and beyond satisfied. First time visit due to an emergency of one of my nails needing to be taken off. Searched nail salon near 13th st closed at 6pm because i was returning into town from GA and this is one of the few that was open late. I’m very happy with the services and Katelynn was very honest about the condition of my nails and kind to do a style i requested without hesitation. Korrie Harmon Schaeffer Absolutely lovely salon! Small. Quiet. Clean. Ray did my nails for this Christmas season and WOW! He was sweet, friendly, attentive to detail, and most importantly, innovative. I asked for red and green chrome nails with an accent on my ring finger. He suggested putting cat eye under the jelly color on top of silver chrome to give it a shimmer effect. My goodness, Ive not been this thrilled with my nails in a very long time. He went above and beyond. These are FANTASTICALLY BEAUTIFUL! Thank you, Ray. And thank you to the staff members who helped me take these beautiful pictures! Edit: these were incredibly beautiful but didnt last a full week. Got them repainted and requested double top coat, so far so good.

B Cherie Entrekin I have been going to Grand Nails for a couple of years now. I’ve always received the best in customer service however, this past week they went above and beyond to prove what a Professional business they truly are. I had my acrylics touched up with a gel polish put on during lunch on Tuesday. For some reason on Wednesday, one of the nails had the polish start lifting off. So I walked in after work on Wednesday to fix the one nail. Much to my surprise, they redid the whole entire set for free. They didn’t want to chance the quality of something happening to the other fingers in case a step was missed in the original process, which they could not prove. How amazing is that? And they recently remodeled their Salon and it looks beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Amber Parker Oh boy where do I begin. I want to start off by saying that I have been coming here over 7 years and I’m honestly just highly disappointed on so many ends. I came in for an acrylic over-lay fill on Friday 12/13. I got a solid color which was done by a gentleman who I do not know the name of. During the process of getting my nails done, i expressed that I would like my cuticles cut down. When I came in for the initial full set of the acrylic overlay of my real nails, the lady that did my nails dialed my fingers in water and some sort of skin softener when she cut down my cuticle. She explained that this was done to reduce any tearing, breaking or bleeding of the cuticle, which, I am so grateful she did that. This gentleman that did my fill, roughly cut down my cuticle with no moisture added to the cuticle and in turn, he cut multiple of my fingers. Even when I jumped and wiggled in pain, he did not apologize or even stop to see why I was hurting. I had to point out that I was bleeding and that it was stinging really bad and he said NOTHING! Throughout the duration of me getting my nails done I tried several times to make conversation with him, compliment the job he was doing, even though I had to point out areas that he did not cover with the nail polish. It became a very awkward and uncomfortable experience all together because I felt like this was not a language barrier, he just flat out didn’t want to talk to me which hurt my feelings a little bit. All of the ladies surrounding me were chatting, laughing, sharing stories, and even showing each other things on each others phones while the nail tech was doing their nails. By the time I left the nail salon around 2ish, my nails were chipping and peeling on FOUR different nails! Mind you, I paid $50 (plus a $10 tip which was not deserved but I always tip no matter what) for this fill on short/ medium healthy length nails (nothing too crazy). What’s even worse is, I got my nails done for an event which they looked like I never even got them touched up on! I’m not only angry but I feel disrespected! How dare these nail salons charge money like they are amazing specialists and the work is mediocre unless I coach and guide them through the entire process, which just takes the relaxation and joy out of the manicure process. Monday morning I arrive back at the nail salon because they are closed on Sundays and I arrive at 9:42AM (12 minutes after they open). To my surprise not only can they not take me right away after explaining the situation, I don’t even get an apology and the ONLY nail tech available is the guy who did my fill, which I explained I did not want doing my nails again. They told me I’d have to wait 30 minutes which I honestly was not happy about. The guy at the front desk went and did someone else’s nails, when, touching up my polish would have taken 5-8 minutes, which makes more sense to knock me out the way, THEN start on her nails; considering the fact that technically I was serviced before her, and they COMPLETELY dropped the ball in SO many ways. I was almost tempted to ask for a refund because even though I received a service, the service was done so poorly and I have to take time and gas out of my day, to come back to the salon 3 days later because my nails were peeling like crazy on the SAME day (and this is “quality” gel polish). I’m not a brat, nor do I feel like the world revolves around me, but to pay so much money, for a FILL on short nails, and to have the nails butchered, my event outfit downgraded, no apologies or any real customer service provided, and being such a long time customer and familiar face in that place, which a kind heart and a generous tipper… IM HURT! And I feel TRULY wronged. I’ve only ever asked for my money back on nails ONCE and I was 17 and the job was just absolutely horrible I wanted to cry. I’m extremely disappointed in the downgrade of service and unfortunately I will not be coming back here and I will be spreading the word. There is nail techs who own their shop, do AMAZING quality work, and won’t ever do this to you!!

Angela Williams I recently got my nails and toes (french tips) done here with Ms. Julie and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. She pays such close attention to detail and made sure everything was exactly the way I wanted it. We spent a few hours together in total and I left extremely happy with my results. S T WORST place ever. Lack of care for client nails. Run if you can! I asked for dip nails and Cindy gave me a fill. I noted to her that I saw that a couple of my nails are lifting and I wanted a new dip set , she ignored my request and then proceeded with the fill. Terrible job because within a week and half my nail fell off so I came for a repair and decided to get new set. She soaks nails and I see I have “green” nails! She told me did I hit my hand as if blaming me for it! She CAUSED me to get a green fungus on my nails due to her negligence and terrible technique and probably dirty tools. She THEN proceeded to “cover it up” saying it was fine and I picked a color that didn’t cover it well and she said “Next time to make my life easier, choose a different color”. EXTREMELY RUDE. Now my nails are ruined cause of this place . I’ve heard from other friends, that have also gotten a fungus from them! I had to get them removed immediately. NEVER GOING BACK.

Aysia Washington I had Julie for the first time and she was amazing! Super sweet and did not mind me changing my mind a couple of times about the color and shape of my nails. I was a walk in and they got me seated so quickly despite being busy. I got a glass of moscato while getting my pedicure done and it was great, super relaxing experience

Mosunmola Adeojo Nails were beautiful but didnt last up to a week. I sent an email asking when to come in to replace the ones that came off by day 3 but I never got a response. I paid for manicure, extension, and deluxe pedicure. For the manicure, I was only given the extension. No steaming, nothing.

Melonie Piechocki I never leave reviews of places but dang. I got my nails done 5 days ago, I got dip done. They already chipped on 2 different nails. Plus I don’t think they got filed smooth enough before the clear coat, so there are white specks in the dark color that are visible. Also don’t expect to walk in and wait less than 45 minutes, just make the appointment. Not very happy with my experience.

Chloe Walton I went in to get nails for my graduation, I haven’t gotten nails in about a year and really just wanted to treat myself for my hard work. I asked for pink and white acrylic french nails (see Pinterest inspired pic attached). When I went in, the staff were very nice. The tech that did my nails had her small child with her, and while I understand there are circumstances to everything, my appointment lasted almost two hours because of how disruptive he was being. When we started my nails, I asked for them to be shortened twice and they were left longer than I wanted but I didn’t not want to ask a third time. On their webpage pink and white full set is priced at 55$, when I went to pay I was charged 70$ before tip which shocked me so I asked for a price breakdown. My card was partially in the reader but my tech pushed my card in for me BEFORE telling me where the extra 15$ came from which I found very disrespectful and inappropriate. 10$ added for “long nails” (I asked twice for them to be shorter) and 5$ for the shape (which should be part of the service!). 5 days after getting this set three began peeling up and by day 7 all three had fallen off. I called and they were very nice and said they would fix it for me, but my real nails were destroyed and bleeding (see pic) after having fallen off. I stated that I wasn’t comfortable getting fresh acrylics put on an open sore and I was told that it’s either that or I get them taken off. I asked for a partial refund since I had my nails for only 5-7 days! And I payed 75$!! And I was told they don’t do refunds. Instead, I got them taken off and a very poor clear coat put on (see pic). I am very disappointed and tried to be reasonable and understanding with this salon, but I just feel scammed. Even when they did “fix” my nails, they did not even offer to paint them.

Zuelay Rosario 2023 review Nina is the best technician. I always leave pleased with her work. I usually get acrylic and gel mani with her. Highly recommended! — 2022 review I have been coming here for a couple months now. The lady who has been doing my nails (acrylic & gel polish) does a really nice manicure, but the pedi service falls a bit short. I only get pedi every other month, so I will still be coming but maybe try other technicians. The location, pricing and color selection is great.

AGTV Allison I went in for a new set and pedicure 9 days ago, and yesterday my middle nail snapped off. I wouldn’t have returned but since i called and they said they would fix it for free, i did. Today i went in and got it “fixed” but the nail looks awful. The woman did not put any pink under the white so you can see through my nails (my other nails had the pink) and she put way too much white and it was a different shape. I would of been fine with it since i could deal with a weird looking nail for a week until i get them redone (at a different place) but when i went to leave, they said it would be 8 dollars. I informed the front desk person that I was told on the phone it would be free, and he said because of the length of my nails, it would be 8 dollars. i paid for the length of my nails when i got the full set only 9 days ago when i paid 130 dollars for a mani pedi. I would understand if it broke off from a fill because nails get old and weathered so they need to be replaced, but before i got them done i did not have acrylics on at all, so after only 9 days, it should not have snapped off (so easily as well) edit: the top coat she put on my nails today is peeling off as well, including on the new nail)

Lindsay Came here for a gel removal to let my natural nails breathe for a little bit. Unfortunately, I got cut with the orange rectangle buffer and the nail tech acted like nothing happened. I’ve been getting my nails done regularly for over a decade and this is the 2nd time I’ve ever been cut. The nail tech didn’t throw away the buffer after it cut me, just put it back in a drawer, so that’s gross to think it might be reused on someone else.

Russ Sara (Sara Lee) Went for a pedicure and requested the paraffin pedi with gel polish. The tech was nice, but I assume she forgot I asked for it because I got callus removal and the basic pedicure without even having lotion or any scrub, etc prior to her painting them. Only once this was done did I mention something and she proceeded to do the socks, lotion and towel. In all salons I’ve visited prior this was done prior to the polish but I again assume she forgot the pedicure I had requested. Even if I did not remind her, I still got a very basic pedicure with little effort. I was also charged an additional 15$ for gel, which is not a big deal but is not clear when advertising the pedicures they offer. Not sure if I just had a weird experience; the overall pricing isn’t bad for additional services compared to higher end salons but I’d try them again. Quality of the paint is decent and again she was very nice.

Savy B DO NOT COME HERE ! I came for wax and full set. She left part of my eyebrow uneven also not to mention butchered my nails! I asked for short nails but not this short and even told her they were way too short. I pointed out that she missed a lot of areas with the white paint and she stated she fixed it (she didn’t). She cut me multiple times to pay as much money as I did and asked for it to be fixed I’m just in shock on how they don’t care for their customers happiness. I have engagement photos this weekend and now I’ll have cut up nails, horrible painting job, super super short ugly nails. Not to mention I hope someone can fix my eyebrows in time. Like I stated DO NOT COME HERE. They give away stuff for reviews no wonder they have so many “good reviews”

ali chung The WORST ever manicure pedicure I have ever had in my life. Everything is fake and for show only. Nails chipped after two days. They applied polish primarily in the center of the toes. Everything was uneven and unprofessional. NEVER ever again. Ever.

Alexandria Zaldivar Absolutely disappointed in the waxing services I received on Saturday. The worker rushed me in and out and in doing so legitimately removed layers of skin from my eyebrow area and upper lip. The room was dim so I was unable to see the extent of the damage until I was home. When I called to speak to a manager I was told one would not be available until Friday 12/13 and when I asked for a refund they advised I would not be getting one and instead would be offered an additional free waxing service - as if I would want to go back. Absolutely terrible customer service. The pictures show the day of result and now the scabbing two days later. The worst part is my wedding is on 12/13! Absolutely ridiculous.

Leah Ebert I have been to this particular nail salon previously and had no real issues, but my most recent experience this week was a problem. I was getting a mani/pedi and during the scrubbing during the pedicure she scrubbed so hard she actually scraped a heel on one foot and both big toes. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home that evening. As far as my manicure, it was ok but even using gloves to do dishes 3 of my nails started chipping so bad I had to take off the polish. I live 35 miles from the salon and don’t have time to return for them to repair which is why I just removed the polish. I doubt I will return to this salon again.

Fernandez Angelica (Angie) I was honestly pretty disappointed with my visit this time. I went on 2/9/25 and requested a specific person, since my usual girl no longer works there. Just because some regulars were there, and wanted to be done by her, I was given to another nail artist. This nail artist not only cut two of my cuticles until I bled, but also did not do a very good job for the amount of money I paid. I was very disappointed this time and I will not be coming back anymore.

Lauren B. I was really looking forward to a relaxing gel manicure and pedicure, but my experience at this salon was beyond disappointing. From the moment my appointment started, it felt like my technician was rushing through the process rather than taking the time to do my nails properly. Sure enough, less than two days later, the polish started peeling off—something that should never happen with gel. Hoping to give them a chance to make it right, I went back to get them fixed. But to my frustration, the polish started peeling again the very same day. At this point, it was clear that the quality of service just wasn’t there. I paid for a long-lasting, professional manicure and pedicure, but what I got was anything but. I’m incredibly frustrated and disappointed, not just because of the poor workmanship but because I feel like I wasted my time and money. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this salon, and I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for quality service.

Jenny K GO HERE! EXCELLENT SERVICE. Very clean, updated nail shop. Pricing is competitive with other nail shops in the area, but this nail shop has wonderful techs that do a FANTASTIC job. I will definitely be returning!

bby peach waste of $70. i really did not like my experience here. i picked a purple shaded color and i got a nude. (107) the nails weren’t even fully coated and the service was rushed. the design was fine but i’m just really upset with the color. i told the lady it wasn’t the same and she did nothing about it. the lady’s were nice at least.

Nancy No nonsense nail salon, basic interior, relatively clean. You get what you ask for and not anything more. This was my first time getting dip powder and I brought pictures for reference. I think it was Tungs wife who did my nails and she did a good job. I asked that she not add any tips onto my natural nails since I work in the medical field. She was understanding and the end result has been the longest lasting manicure Ive ever gotten. However, she didnt even clean under my nails in terms of regular nail care. Prices seem reasonable.

Chris Clark They always do a great job on wifes nails. They last and dont fall off before its time for a fill (and shes VERY rough on her hands). They also do an amazing job on her eye brows. My wife naturally has no arch to her eyebrows but they worked their magic when waxing and made her eyebrows have a arch and they look phenomenal! Best theyve ever looked!!! By far the BEST pedicure Ive EVER had!!! DEF recommend Classy Nails for all your nail/waxing needs!! Everyone is VERY friendly. Great selection on colors and designs.

Kanika Copeland DON’T GO HERE!!!!! The male nail tech does not know how to polish well. I asked him several times to redo the polish because of how sloppily and carelessly he polished them. I originally wanted French manicure polish but after several failed attempts, I chose a solid color hoping that he would be to apply a solid color neatly. Because he reapplied my polish so many times, the back of the nails still had remnants from previous attempts. I was also charged an additional $5 for “cutting and shaping” my nails but I think that he added the fee because he assumed that he wouldn’t be receiving a tip. Though the service was awful, I tipped him anyway. After reading the reviews, I noticed a commonality among those who left bad reviews. I feel as though they purposely give bad service to certain people to ensure that we do not return. This is their way of targeting a specific demographic.

Michaela Colin Swan Nail is AMAZING. I got a pedicure from Swan herself and she is so kind & we had a great time talking & laughing. You can tell she genuinely cares for people. Shes also efficient, I was in the chair for less than half an hour and she did a beautiful job. Another woman came in after me and was also in and out for her pedicure in under 30 mins. The paint dries super quick, too. The prices are great & the place is super clean, I’ve never had one nail salon that I always go to, but now I will!

Dreezy Best nail shop experience ever! At one point, I had two nail techs doing my nails at the same time. One working on my hands and one finishing my pedicure. The techs were so kind and uplifting, one in particular called me a queen twice. They also gave me some snacks, made great conversation and even had us laughing. They are just joyful people. They speak to you soon as you come through the door, they are transparent about their prices, and also offer waxing services. This was my first time at the shop but I saw some of their regulars come in and they treated EVERYONE with the same respect. Amazing job!

I did not realize prior to making the appointment what the inspiration photos looked like that my friend was getting nor the time it would take, but we never felt rushed. Lewis took his time and was meticulous to get the job done right even though we ended up keeping them late. Kristen was very kind and did a great job for her pedicure. David did my classic pedicure and classic gel manicure and he was very meticulous as well. They earned our business in the future!

Drunken Clams WOW! My eyebrows look the best they ever have! Lilly was amazing, I had eyebrow lip and chin wax, and had a lovely pedicure with paraffin wax and hot stone (highly recommend) the manicure both woth gel. They have a great atmosphere and a cute little bar with real brand wins, sparkling, and beer not the box garbage. Very pleased will be back

Franci Tabaczenski Everyone was nice and professional but Im not impressed with the quality of the service. It doesnt look very even and smooth and one of my nails has hair from the polish brush stuck to it. Also, they didnt paint close to the cuticles making it look like its already a week old polish and they didnt do a good job cleaning around the nail. Its cheaper than most places in town but not worth it.

Daritza Herrera Sunny and Cindy provide excellent customer service. They are both patient and detailed oriented. I am very happy with my manicure and pedicure which lasted >3 weeks. I love that they carry OPI polish. It’s probably better to walk in without an appointment. Also, better to bring and pay with cash. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

Candace Cosgrove I asked for a deluxe pedicure with gel. Ms. Angela was great and took her time with the actual pedicure. When it was time to pay the guy that works there said my total was $75. I asked did that include tip because a deluxe pedicure is $50 and gel polish add-on is $15. He stated that those were old prices and that I needed to ask him next time before I get a service done how much it cost. I explained to him that if those arent the prices he should take the sign down. He then started to be very rude and started yelling because I told him Im only paying $65 because thats what the sign says.

Naomi Ellis My friend recommended this place. I came in on Saturday at about 1pm. They got me in right away which was great. I paid for a manicure and a pedicure. I matched the gel polish to the dip powder (they do not match as closely as I thought they should but that’s not a huge issue, my toes are much darker than my fingers). It cost me $120, not counting the 20% tip I gave to her as well. Unfortunately by that night my right thumb nail broke. They’re closed on Sunday so I waited until they opened on Monday morning to come in. They said they didn’t have someone to fix it and it would be a thirty minute wait but after we agreed to wait they had the young lady who did my original set on Saturday fix my thumb. Now since I was just here a couple days ago I know how talented she is. I love this set. The color and shape are perfect. However she did not spend the same time and attention to detail this go around. My right thumb now is significantly thicker, darker, and even crooked especially compared to how symmetrical the rest of my set is. I offered to pay for the repair as I don’t believe anyone should work for free but was turned down. She made a comment while repairing my thumb that I should just do acrylics without the powder dip. That since my natural nails are short that’s why it broke. Please note I did not blame anyone for my broken nail neither did I expect free service to have it fixed. I know I’m not exactly a nail connoisseur however I’ve been getting my nails done consistently since the pandemic lifted restrictions. I’ve only had a nail break like this one time before and that was about a week after I had them done and at a different salon. This length is pretty normal for me and I’ve never had this issue. Regardless, my experience Saturday was wonderful which makes today so much more disappointing. I know she was capable of doing a much better job then what she did today and chose not too. Because of this I will be taking my business elsewhere. Included are pictures of my set and my repaired nail for a comparison. I apologize for the quality of photos as it does look worse in person.

Mariana Great service, clean salon, Tony was amazing on my full set and made sure I loved them to, he kept making sure the shape was on point and if the length was good all the way to how thick I wanted the white tip, made me feel super secure with a nail tech! Will be returning for sure!! Edit: came back for my Easter nails with Tony and he did not disappoint! Also got them longer this time!!

Weilling Chen I got a deluxe pedicure that was $50. It was not good at all. It said there was callus removal, but there were no callus removal gel, just the standard scrubber. The technician was so lazy so barely scrubbed. The massage was horrible. She kept scratching the bottom of my foot with her nails and rubbing the exact same spot. When I asked her to massagey calf instead on rubbing the same spot on my foot, she gave an unwilling glare. Her polish technique was really bad too. She painted outisde of my nail and used too much polish in just one layer by over painting so it dripped off to the side of the nail onto the skin. The salon also didnt have a proper nail drying station. The station was six feet wide but had only two mini 4 inch wide portable fan, one on each end, as the drying fan. I sat there for 30 minutes with my feet right next to the fan and it could t even dry one later of polish. Definitely would not return!!

Rebecca Hearton I have had many great gel manicures here from various techs and my issue is not with the bad one i just received. My issue is when I showed it to the staff and that the polish didnt cover the whole nails and that it was globular in some areas, she tried to insist that it was satisfactory and thats just the way a gel polish look. Very nice people but dont like that they try to pass this as professional work. Unfortunately because of that I wont be coming back.

Scrap Miss Diamond is the First Lady to do my nails EXACTLY how I wanted them. Short and SHARP, with a beautiful design. I absolutely loved my experience with her and that she immediately knew what I was looking for without telling me it couldn’t be done. These nails have lasted me 3 weeks! I’m a logger and do tree work, so they have been put to the test!

Valerie Gunnels This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a nail salon. I went in for a pedicure, acrylic removal, and manicure. The pedicure was mediocre,but the manicure was awful. She didn’t use the warm water to soften the cuticles, no cuticle removal gel or grooming, which was so desperately needed after acrylic removal. She filed my nails unevenly and jagged, and the polish job.. just not good. To add insult to injury they didn’t even let my nails dry before they closed the doors. Their hours list they’re open until 7pm, my services were completed about z7:15. I paid $85 for this - regular polish. Will not be returning. They also had a dog in the shop who was so cute and friendly but I’d prefer if animals weren’t licking out of the water my pedicure is being done. Waste of time and money

I had to have my latest mani removed and redone at another place due to crappy looking stickers and incomplete polish on the sides of the nails. I am wondering if the male tech I had ( and they KEEP placing me with him !)- has an eyesight problem. He’s very very nice , but does a bad job each time. And all this for close to $100. I gave it several extra chances after I started noticing decrease in quality. Disappointed each time. Won’t be returning. This was my go- to salon for YEARS and I used to be very satisfied . Karlana Talbert Do not use this business. There is a nail tech there named Mhika also known as Mhia Abby Bunoy who was very unprofessional and rude. After going to her for almost a year I had an adverse reaction to the acrylic base she used. She was using a certain brand on my hands and when it ran out, refilled it with a different brand and did not notify me. When I had a reaction she assured me that it was the same brand and that I had somehow "developed an allergy". After asking for a full refund I was only offered 50% refund after I barely had them on for a week. From there I was told to go to the emergency room or urgent care and that there was nothing else they could do. I have developed burning, blistering, peeling, and bleeding fingers. I had to spend $200 on urgent care. You have been warned.

Kristin Moorehead Firstly I want to say that the staff here are very nice. No complaints there. I got my first ever acrylics here a month or so ago and they were plain black almonds that looked amazing! So I decided to go back in and ask for black French tips since the full black grew out more noticeably. This is the sloppiest French tip. The lines are uneven and there’s even a chunk of black gel polish stuck under my right ring fingernail that the man tried and failed to get off, and it’s clearly visible through the pink part. I’m so sad, I just wanted nice nails, I never get my nails done. $45 was not worth it for this. If you do come here, get something simple. Again, no hate to the staff they were so friendly just inexperienced in what I wanted.

It is just the two of them since COVID, so I recommend calling to make an appointment. They have the BEST pedicures in Gainesville. They take their time (usually an hour) and there is a nice leg massage. Very economical at $30. I highly recommend their pedicures! My husband now comes too!

I called the day before to make an "appointment" so that I wasnt just a walk-in. From the minute I walked in and knew something was off because they seemed surprised I was there even though I had called and explained on the phone what I was coming in for. I explained to the guy what I needed done and he assured me he could do it. I sat down and he almost cut my natural nails with my SNS still on them - which no one has ever done because it is not good for your nails. I calmly explained to him that they were my natural nails and not tips - I didnt want my nails cut, I just wanted them filed because they had grown since my last appointment. Throughout the appointment, he kept assuring me that my nails would be beautiful and I am all for trusting the process. Towards the end of the appointment, I knew this appointment was the biggest mistake. I came in with beautiful almond shaped natural nails and left with my nails being a weird rounded shape, all different lengths, and the worst nail design I have ever seen. I wanted some small flowers and these look like abstract fireworks a 5 year old drew. It took everything within me not to cry at his table and I still payed $50. It took the guy two hours to ruin my nails. The moment I got to my car I cried I will NEVER go back to pro nails. I have already made an appointment at another salon in town and they have assured me that they will take care of me. I am hoping that by writing this review I can save someone else the time and money I wasted. I wouldnt have gone here in the first place if the reviews online hadnt been positive. Daisy Morris A very kind woman prepped my nails while the man who did my nails (I think the manager) was finishing up another guest. I would be fine with this normally but it seemed she wasn’t trained in putting tips on and she struggled through it. She was very sweet, but she glued two of my fingers together and it was made me very anxious and it hurt. She also cut me with the drill. I would have been happy just to wait for the nail tech who does full sets to apply the tips. It took at least fifteen minutes to get through the tip application process alone. When he began on my nails he hardly said to words two words to me and he cut me with the drill twice in the same spot I was initially cut. He did not address it or apologize until he buffed over it with his dirty buffer. I am really unsure of the sanitary practices at this place. He finally apologized and he did apply an antiseptic. I was literally tearing up because it hurt and I was incredibly anxious at this point. He continued the silent, awkward service without even allowing me to check the shape. He was also very rough moving my hands around. In my opinion, my nails look terrible and they have no apex and they are likely to break. They are lumpy and I just hate them. I give myself zero stars for not stopping the service when I knew it wasn’t going well and I definitely would give this salon a -1 if I could.

Jennifer Thiery This was my third visit and each time Mike has done an incredible job on my nails. Ive had a different person for my pedicure each time, but all were wonderful. Everyone is friendly and seems to enjoy their work.

Taylor Hayes First time going here 3/4/25 I got an overlay with glitter acrylic powder. I absolutely love my nails they were shaped beautifully. Great atmosphere not crowded and good music. 10 out of 10 I really appreciate the great work I will make this my new nail salon.

Ashley Nelson I have been to 4 different salons. This hands down is the best one I’ve been to! The salon is clean. Mike took his time, and made my nails look so good! It’s always hard trying to find a salon in Gainesville that actually cares about the nails and is a good price. The cost of my nails as a fill and him changing color was $53 without tip. They just got a return customer!! Thanks Mike! Will be recommending to all my friends

Dawn Pelham I got a pedicure it was nice, but I also wanted to get a wax and it didnt look like they had enough staff so I just ended up leaving. I went back again and over the last year or two they have added new options to their pedicure selection. I got the new on with the collagen and I get the foot wax at the end. I must say, I really enjoyed the pedicure it was nice and relaxing and the massage was very good. I did leave a nice tip and I really took pleasure in the whole experience. There was plenty of staff. I recommend going on a day during the week instead of a weekend, because its not as busy and the nail technicians arent rushed. If you decide to visit they have a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks.

Stacie Johnson I used to have some great thoughts about this place before my last visit. The day before my renewal ceremony, I was surprised with money to get my nails done. Due to previous experience there, this place was where I wanted to go- NOT ANYMORE. The guy that did my toes took advantage of the fact that I was on the phone with with family and friends (mind you, I also had my 4 year old daughter with me) to make sure the ceremony was going to go as planned and he charged me $12 more as well as gave me services that I did not ask for, even after I had already told him that I did not want the service he was offering to me. The gentleman that did my finger nails was so sweet and seemed to be very excited for me and I appreciate him for that. His graciousness though isnt enough for me to go back ever again though. So, when you go get your nails done here, dont get distracted by anything else, pay attention to what some of them maybe trying to do.

Jade This was my first time going here because I heard good reviews about it so I wanted to try it out. I did have to wait a long time but that was fine there was only 3 people in there so I understand but although I wanted a longer length I still wanted to have the same design which he did do just very horribly also instead of doing the mini rhinestones into a french tip he decided to add lil ones around and then just put one big one of top.. also some of the finger nails are chunky others aren’t, I will not be going here again customer service was great tho..

Jenny K TERRIBLE. BAD SERVICE - WORST PEDICURE I EVER RECEIVED. My first and last time ever going to "happy nails." Literally cut my toenail down to the quick so it bled. No apology because the man spoke zero english. Continued to attempt to "fix" it by filing which made me cringe and feel extreme discomfort. I told him to stop. They charged me the full $30. AVOID THIS PLACE. UNHYGIENIC. DONT KNOW WHAT THEYRE DOING. DISGUSTING.

Lolianne Rivercat Shady practices. I went in to get a manicure. I agreed to pay $35 for gel. She hands me a wash tub full of samples, probably 8-10 rings of them. Then when I picked out a color she said that would be extra. So I asked which ones are for $35? This woman picks out ONE sample ring and takes the rest of this big bin away from me. So.... You quote a price, say where to pick from, and then 90% of those options cost more?? No thank you. 0/10 do not recommend. Edit to reply: Im not stupid, and it has nothing to do about prices "back in the day". My issue is that I was quoted a price, I agreed to that price, and then the underhanded attempt to squeeze in the extra charge.

eva Lili splashed a bowl of acetone in my face and my eyes and had absolutely no idea what she was doing. Plus the fact that i only came to get acrylics taken off and to have my natural nails filed ROUNDED and left with my nails all raggedy and frail, literally bending off and sharp when i told her MULTIPLE times during the filing to make them rounder. NEVER coming here EVER again. Nails 1st just lost a loyal client. Save your money and get your nails done by someone who won’t splash acetone in your eyes and face and not even apologize and clearly disregard what you tell her to do. NO APOLOGY!!

Bella Megleo My experience here was not the best. I went to go get my nails done and told the technician that I didn’t want the nails that she had given me anymore and she never listened to me. I had to pay $85 dollars for these nails and instantly regret it. She was going extremely fast as well… but my nails look chunky and the design does not match. I had also asked her to redo them because I did not like the design but she was not cooperative and did not do what I had asked her to do. This is what my nails look like compared to the reference photo.

Bella I got dip powder and my nail broke within a week, plus the others have chipped and broken off shortly after. I paid $60 for this so it was extremely disappointing. Also, they tore up my nail beds and made my fingers bleed while getting the manicure. Would not recommend.

Ebony Robinson If you are looking for an Artist who takes pride in her work and the relationship with her clients, I highly recommend you book with Tori. She offers a great experience, great vibes and even advice if your are having a bad day and need to vent. In regard to her work, Tori is extremely talented and extremely creative. Her work speaks for itself and her nails last a long time without lifting unless you’re rough like myself.

Evelyn Schentrup My nails were already lifting after 4 days. I purposely tried to preserve them by not getting my hands wet after getting them done, not putting too much pressure on the nails, etc. The last straw was when my nail tore off along with my natural nail bed, causing me to bleed. In addition, there were a lot of small problems immediately after getting them done. The sides of the nail had random spots where the white wasn’t covering it. They got acrylic on my cuticles and skin leaving it irritated for almost a day after i had to take it off. The nails were crooked and i had to spend about an hour filing them straight and touching up the white. There are bumps in the polish, most likely air bubbles. The nail glue stuck to my skin and took almost a day to get rid of.

Shavonne Alston My 14 year old daughter is a nail biter. Tracy gave her some tips on how to stop biting her nails and to get them to grow. My daughter wanted acrylics but Tracy told her the nails won’t stay on because her nail was way too short. I appreciated her honesty and for not just taking our mone and the nails fall off after a few days. My daughter has let her nails grow and was finally able to get acrylics, Her nails are still really short but Tracy was able to give my daughter the look she was going for. Thank you Tracy!!

Desiree Santana Tori is amazing. She takes your inspo and then makes it come to life and then some. She does not disappoint. She’s polite, punctual, and communicates well. Forever nail tech.

Beibi Mckenzie The worst experience in my life with a simple pedicure . Note : The only professional at the salon is the owner gentleman that works there all others not at all . Went for a pedicure the tech made me bleed a lot right when she first started she said sorry i hit the wrong spot/nerve. she had no gloves on ,she cleaned the tub and then went back into touching my feet without washing her hands then had the owner come speak to me for the pain she caused at making me bleed a lot . The owner apologized and finished my nails for her . My nails were already painted from the tech but the owner started cutting and kept grooming my toe nails while painted as if the tech didn’t finish the job correctly. This experience was a very painful disaster . I Just gave birth a few months ago I wanted to pamper myself and this is what I got . A painful disaster . Lady’s run…. I do not recommend this place at all .

Dazzlyn Gator Cleaning Gel nails done Monday and it’s Thursday and nails are ripping and coming off . Gel usually last 2 weeks or more when I go somewhere else very disappointed and my feet look like I painted them no clean up or nothing. Won’t be back no wonder it’s always empty when I go!

Sara Geiger Hands down the worst nails Ive ever gotten done. I went in for a gel manicure. The first color was not even close to the sample, so we started over. The next color was also not great, but I just dealt with it. My nails wete not trimmed properly, I had uneven/ jagged nails, and the gel started peeling off within 2 days! I had done nothing out of the ordinary with my hands that would have caused this and gel normally lasts me two weeks or more. They looked like a kid painted them too!

kimberly williams I scheduled an appointment with a specific person with the shop for several days now. I called to confirm as I was running late and they kindly said no problem. When I entered the shop, I learned the person had been on vacation for about a week. They didnt want to let me know because they wanted to keep the appointment and put me with another person. I asked why they failed to notify the artist was on vacation when I called earlier, or when I originally made the appointment. They literally shrugged their shoulders and said sorry, lol. Kinda disappointing because the owner is by far the best nail artist here, but that type of customer service is pretty terrible.

Megan Graham mind you,  Im pregnant & a little more biased as I am a licensed cosmetologist. I went in with powder french-dipped nails, asked for them to be soaked off & redone, and for an upgraded pedicure. my tech was an older lady with short, choppy hair. the pedicure was standard. she cut into the corners of my big toe too deep. the massage was rushed but she had good pressure. I requested the hot stone and paraffin upgrade. because she was rushing, she burnt the skin on my inner calf. I told her it was too hot and she just kept going. I understand there was a language barrier, but this was where I started to feel uneasy. I told her I wanted to keep my length and my natural nail, that I wanted French dip with solid glitter accent nails. she removed my prior set by prying them off with an acrylic tip after I specifically asked for them to be soaked off. I spoke up when she started cutting them and she reassured me she was just "evening them out" I told her to keep them long and she said she was going to make them have tips. I said no, I dont want false tips, I just want white tips. at this point another tech spoke up and said she would do sculpted tips like we had consulted. I said no, thats not what I asked for. long story short, my nails ended up flush with my nail bed, she filed into my nail bed to give them some semblance of a shape and she cut into my nail bed on 7 of my nails. when I went to pay I was just so upset with everything, I swiped my card & walked out. I sat in the car and called back up there and explained my issue and she said come back, well fix it. i told her no,  they were too short and she had compromised my nail bed. there were open cuts & they would have to grow out and heal first before I could undergo any other services. I really wanted a partial refund & she said come back in a week but not on the weekend. well FF a week later and Hurricane Elsa was here & she told me it had been too long and I needed a fill and she would only do 3 repairs of the 7 injured nails. we went back and forth and I asked if I could just get my money back, and she refused, so consumer beware.

Kelley I used to come to this location regularly about 4 years ago and have missed it dearly. Out of all nail salons I have ever been to in Florida, Sakura Nail Spa has been my favorite. The regular pedicure is great, but the deluxe is worth it too! Michael gives great massages. My toes always look great and I feel relaxed when I leave!

Adrianna Ragwah As someone that was referred by a friend, I made an appointment with Anna. After waiting 30 minutes, I was instructed to go to Cassie. I expected my expectations to be met however they were not. Though Cassie was very kind and tried her very best, I was not happy with my dip nails and I was still charged full price. I’m not sure why I wasn’t given to Anna as my appointment was specifically with her (which I mentioned multiple times), however what I paid for the designs were not worth it. They were not precise and they my nails were clumpy after the designs. My toes, which has never ever happened before were clumpy and not filed straight as well. They had specks of my nails which showed that the nail wasn’t smooth before being painted. Sadly disappointed with my services however, workers are kind. Edit: My nails ended up breaking and chipping in less than a week. I ended up going back on for repair and Anna accommodated me. Her designs were precise and cleaner. She was so very sweet and her work is absolutely amazing — she served amazing customer service!

Keisha Echols Went in while in town for a quick visit, needed a pedicure/gel polish and dip powder redo for my nails. Should have gone elsewhere. The powder job on my nails is not smooth, she didn’t clean my nails well, and didn’t take the powder evenly to the base of my cuticles across my nails. I didn’t want to embarrass the tech so I called immediately after walking out to request a portion of the money paid; they refused. Offered for me to come back so they could “fix it” but I communicated several times while she was in the process of doing my nails that they did not look finished. Not to mention that my daughter and I had already spent two hours in the nail salon, and my daughter was hungry and tired. Pedicure was also not good; it was rushed and quick, “massage” was all of five seconds. Too many other salons in the vicinity to waste your time, and money, here. Walk a few more steps or drive another minute away for better treatments and services. Bad business. I would not recommend.

Adriana Sanchez My daughter went here today per her roommates suggestion. Unfortunately, she had a terrible experience. Not only were the gel nails thickly applied and lumpy, the technician failed to cut the cuticle and left polish all over the skin. Despite her dissatisfaction, she still left a 20% tip. She immediately called me from the car and explained the situation. I told her to go back in and ask them to remove the gel nails. The owner was rude and refused, and told her the paint would come off in the shower. She ended up going to Venus nail salon and they fixed her nails for $10 plus tip. My college age daughter does not recommend this nail salon.

Angela was so patient and kind to my 2 year old daughter when I brought her in for a mommy and me spa day. The longevity and quality of the work they produce is exceptional.

Psychic Junkey My best friend and I had appointments for mani/pedis for her wedding. They did an amazing job, took their time, and were respectful of my allergies to acrylic. They happily made accommodations and gave me a beautiful set of nails!!! The bride was extremely happy!!

Kacey C The nail tech who helped me did a fantastic job on all the nails except for the marbled ones. I wish it had been communicated to me prior that the color for the marbling was going to be a SUPER bright pink. I feel bad because the girl was really kind but once it came to discussing the marbling of the nail, it came out really bright and unlike any of the inspo pictures I had shown her. I told her I’d be willing to fix it, even going so far as to offer to pay for it to be fixed, but the communication wasn’t there and I ultimately left feeling a little frustrated. However, for the remainder of the appointment, the nails came out beautiful as did the chrome over them. They also did my eyebrows which I’m really satisfied with. I’d say go here for sculpting and any sort of simple designs but for anything more complex definitely err on the side of caution.

Cheyenne Johns They didnt take their time to do my nail art and I had to ask for a second coat of glitter to be put on then only one clear top coat was put on and 3 of my nails had clipped that same day. Will not be going back.

Grace Claybourne It was okay. Cut my cuticle. Definitely didn’t use new/clean nail supplies. Did not deliver requested shape. But overall, it was okay. However,I will come back to give them another chance

Q J Pedicure was great but eyebrow tint didn’t last more than 2days. $25 wasted and they said they don’t fix them after 3days. I came on Saturday 11/30 and came in 12/3 to get my pinky toe redone because the gel came off and the tint.

They didn’t file my nails, can’t make a coffin shape, took 2 hours to do my nails, laughing in our face because we’re saying to do the right thing, my nails can make someone bleed because of how sharp they are. IVE NEVER seen such a bad place I can’t believe it do NOT COME HERE.

Lauren Gentry Took my little lady here for her Birthday and I cannot express how beyond pleased I was all the way around. We’ve gone to MANY nail salons and none have matched what we experienced today, from the welcoming atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff. We’ve had so many bad experiences elsewhere especially when my little girl gets her nails done, but they were so gentle with her and gave her exactly what she wanted (literally looked like the picture she showed them), and with my nails they are the best I’ve ever had done he understood what I wanted and needed (due to my career) and went above and beyond and even recommended a nail shape that complimented my wide nail bed and fingers which NO ONE has ever even mentioned to me before when getting my nails done. They also did a phenomenal job on both of our eyebrow waxings, didn’t hurt and for the first time my skin didn’t react negatively after. They were also talkative, which you don’t get often in a nail salon, there was a lot of laughter so to say I couldn’t be more pleased is an understatement….they literally made our experience fun which hasn’t been the case for many years when we have been to other places to have our girls day! If I could I would definitely give more than 5 stars, but they will now be our go to with nails, waxing, etc.! Thank you for a wonderful experience for our girls day and all the girls days to come ❤️

Tiffany Murphy I usually do not get my nails done while traveling, but I decided to take a chance today. My Daughter in Law and I got pedicures. We were both very please! The staff is very friendly, helpful, efficient, and very thorough! The shop was clean and great choice of colors. We will definitely be back while we are here at Shands. When the nail tech found out why were here, when we left she told me she would pray for my Daughter in Law.❤️. I have to say that the whole staff is the friendliest staff I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with!
