Shaliyah Overpriced for one color. I did not have anything fancy done to my nails, and this cost me $70. Ive had better done for cheaper, so I dont say its worth it. Plus, they had pretty poor customer service. The quality of the work was good though, but, I can get that same quality for $30 less. Also, the same ladys waxing job was very lazy. Super disappointing. Do better

BAMBAAlamb I don’t think I’ve ever had a nail spot execute so perfectly! The ladies were amazing and so accommodating, really trying to give me exactly what I asked for. They even restarted after applying 2.5 nails with acrylic because they could tell I wasn’t a fan of the skin tone match but didn’t want to say anything, so thoughtful!! Photos can’t even capture just how sick these claws look! Tried to capture the metallic color change in the sun, inspo pic at the end. The girls did FANTASTIC, my nails have never looked so good! I will most def be back again!!

Denise presley Christina did an amazing job. She can do very intricate designs and her nails last a long time! The shape was everything and the nails felt natural. Not clunky or bulky. I truly love my nails!

Latanya White I was surprised to learn that the shop was under new management. I am not big on surprises however this one was very pleasant! Andy did a fabulous job on my French manicure! Tae did an equally amazing job in my French pedicure! They were conversational and intimate, which I liked very much. If you want to be treated well please visit the shop and ask for them. Although they ALL are great! Those are the two I had the pleasure of being pampered by today. ALSO, no one asked me to say these things, these are my words and my honest opinion. Sarah Ownbey Ive been looking for a regular salon since I moved in May and Im so happy I stumbled across this place! Andy and Casey are so sweet and helpful! They had excellent suggestions and Im happy with my gel-x manicure. Andy talked through options with my friend and she went with what he recommended and is really pleased as well! They have great options and reasonable prices , and the clean and friendly atmosphere are a 10/10.

Karley Kruer I just moved here and I’ve been trying to find a good nail salon and I think I’ve found it!! I called to see if I could walk in and they were so understanding and considerate. They sat me immediately and were so thorough with my nails. They were nice and so so good. Amazing quality, amazing nails, amazing people. VERY good first impression. I would have walked out of there with no nail polish on my acrylics and still would have been happy with my nails, thats how perfect they were. The shape, the size, and then after the polish was on it was amazon and so so perfect. 10/10 I’ve already recommended friends.

Laura Gass Ive been going to J&T nails ever since they opened their establishment. Even prior to their own establishment, Ive followed them wherever they went because theyre that worth it to me. All their technicians are kind. The owners are wonderful. I seize to be disappointed. Hands down, the best acrylic nails and designs youll ever get. Ive never had a nail fall off or break and I work with my hands for a living. I appreciate Jay, Tina, and the whole team.

Star G I love this place since day 1 I think 3 years ago once Jay did my nails I said oh that’s it you’re stuck with me . Always does a great job. And is very creative I show a design and Jay always puts his own twist ! I love it ! Also lately his sister has been doing my nails I believe her name is Jackie .. she is just as awesome as Jay !!! Edna Phillips This was my first and unfortunately last time going. Unless I’ve been getting my nails done wrong all of these years. Why is it I just got my nails done and it looks like I need a fill in already and I know my nail beds are wide by just why does it look like I put these nails on myself. I paid $50 for this a complete waste.

Courtney Went here randomly after I had a car oil change nearby. I was attracted to the location because of all the positive reviews and pictures of the work on other reviews. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait time. The girl who did my nails (i think her name was Yani?) was very thorough and didnt rush. Id come back again when in the area. Reasonably priced for the work she did.

Emily Jensen Editing my review! My nails for a FILL were $90 before tip ( for the blue French ) I went back in to get them redone because the sugar sparkle was coming off. They were super nice and accommodating. I would probably come back for a head spa treatment- the prices are just extremely expensive. I paid $97 in total and I did get a 10% discount being my first time. The staff is super friendly and it’s super clean and nice I think it just is the price that’s too much.

Jaiya Miles PHENOMENAL experience!!! There’s no strong acrylic smell when walking into the salon, very welcoming. My family & I came to get our feet done and it was the best choice to come here. We had John, Minh, Mai, & Nam. They did a breakdown about any questions we had. The best part was the eye mask and massage. It felt like heaven. Definitely will be back. P.S they also have drinks to offer and have a wireless charger for your phone.

Stacy Crooks This is my new favorite place. It was relaxing; the pedi chairs have massage functions. I wasnt sure what I wanted when I went in, but the staff helped me pick services that were right for me. My tech was great, I will definitely be going back:)

Tonkatruck DillyNorman If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Great clean new salon. Will be coming here from now on! Melissa did my nails and she was attentive and listened to what I wanted. After she was done and she went home ( it was after close ) I was waiting for my sister to finish we noticed the gold nail had a weird green tint to it. So Amanda who did my sisters nails filed it off and redid it with the regular gold and really made me feel like they cared about my nails looking good and that I liked them. Both artists are great!

Amanda Lyons The place was very nice and clean but the nail tech that I had kept cutting me with the drill thing. I had to tell her multiple times that she was cutting me. I get dip powder on my natural nails and while she was filing them she took a chuck out of the side of one of my nails and tried to fill it in with the powder so now that one nail is extra thick on that side. I also asked for a basic design. Just a heart in the middle of the nail and the tech tried but it did not turn out good.

Carol Anne Fendig I have now come to this place twice. They are without a doubt the best in Jacksonville. If you are so indecisive, like me, then they will show you what you really want. I always need a little help picking out my colors, and they nail it every time. I had the beautiful Consuelo do my nails. If you like Almond shape nails, then this is your girl. She can do sooo much. I give her a picture of the nails I want and she executes them perfectly. I also was paired with Nathalie for my toes. What I love about her is our conversations and amazing massages while I’m getting my feet done. She does a great job with anything you want for your toes. My favorite part about this place is the beautiful language that is spoken. I just love it. It is so unique to have a nail salon that speaks Spanish. The women are kind, beautiful and accommodating. The music in the building is fun and enjoyable as well. I would recommend them 10/10 every time.

Linda Noel Wonderful experience. I took a picture in of what I wanted done and Gigi exceeded my expectations! Paid more than I expected compared to other places I’ve been but the quality of what I received was worth it. Salon was clean and no tv! I appreciate the quiet environment with appropriate music level.

Jackie Fahey I was charged extra tonight for ballerina nails and once I argued these arent ballerina shaped I was credited and told next time Id have to pay for ballerina shape. Note this is not a ballerina shape. As a response to owner. That is not what I was told. I was told it is at the discretion of the technician on what shape they think it is which is why I wont be coming back.

Susan Maxime I go to Katherine aka Kat from Orlando. She is the best nail tech and creative stylist that I have been to in my 30 years of getting my nails done in NY, GA and Florida. They are better than what I ask for EVERY time! She got to know what I like, my style and even learned how to hand paint my favorite flowers and Buffalo Bills designs, Go Bills! I simple cannot thank her enough for being fun and creative and daring me to be creative too. By far she is the best.

Tana Wright Been coming to this place for over a year now. Best place in Jacksonville and I’ve been to quite a few joints! My girl Katheryn does all my nail designs and she KILLS it every time!! She’s the best nail tech I’ve found in Jacksonville. Period. Always have had a great experience here.

Kelsey Litchfield Probably one of the worst nail jobs I have had in a long while. My pedicure was fine, but I’ve had these acrylic nails for less than a week, and each and every single nail is already pulling up and catching my hair. I haven’t had time to stop and get an entirely new set; so I’ve been dealing with it. The line work for the French is mediocre at best, and each of the tips weren’t fully painted in. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a great inspection prior to me getting home and realizing they were all horrible. They are lumpy in several areas, and you can literally see my natural nail through the paint. I would not come back unless you’re only getting gel. This was WITH an appointment too, so they knew I was getting a full new set with French gel.

Shelby Huling *UPDATE: The manager called me and asked if I would be willing to let them fix my nails. I agreed and made an appointment with Trish. She did an excellent job. I would definitely come back to see her! Great customer service. Not the best, not the worst. I recently moved to this side of town and have been trying to find a new nail salon so I decided to try out Ooh La La. Everyone was very friendly and personable but the quality just wasn’t there. I requested a regular polish change on my toes and SNS change on my nails with chrome powder. My toes weren’t polished very well but it wasn’t the worst I’ve ever had so I didn’t really say anything. I did have to request that she reshape my nails a couple times as two of them were very clearly crooked. She did the almond shape ($6 up charge, which I’ve never seen before so that’s a con as well) like I asked but by the time they were cut down and filed so many times they were much shorter than I usually get/was expecting. The salon has dim lighting so I didn’t notice until I got home that a couple of my nails were lumpy (Was hard to get my camera to focus on my nail, but the lump is clearly visible in person). I may try them again one day if I don’t find another salon I commit to.

Rachelin D Since I’ve lived here for a year, I have constantly been coming here. The service I receive is always wonderful. I always have great conversations and feel so welcome by each employee. This time around, I had Allen do my nails and she did amazing as we chatted it up. I have the inspo picture with the pink “aura” look and I really wanted a red base. Allen nailed the look for what I was imagining. Can’t wait to come back again as always.

Fadou H When I left Canada, I wondered where I would find a good salon; I also went on Google and found Zen. I am glad that I read the reviews, Andy is very gentle and knows what he is doing. I love my nails. I could give five (5) stars; however, two things bothered me: I didnt get an offer to wash my hands to remove the nail dust, and I had two nails that had skin on. I was just sent home like that, but I did ask to wash my hands. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was sitting in the pedicure foot tub for 35 minutes until someone finally came. But overall I really liked this place.

Richa Owen My wife and I are regulars here. We have been coming here for over 8 years. My wife always gets her nails done here and I come with her every couple months to get a pedicure. We have never once had a bad experience(about 200 visits total). The staff is always so friendly and today was no different. Today I was helped by Jasmin and my wife had Jacki. I went in on Monday (they were closed Sunday) and they fixed them free of charge which was great. However it has now only been a week later and I have 5 chipped nails now. Brooklyn McLeod This is my favorite and only place I will get my nails done. I live on the north side and there are many salons that are much closer, but I love this place and will always make the drive. They have talented nail artists & a beautiful luxury looking space that is very clean. When I come, they always remember me and know what I like. I feel like I am coming to visit friends. One of my favorite memories of being there was around Halloween time, I got my nails done and we watched the Annabell movie together. I dont have a lot of friends or family, and I am alone a lot, so being able to watch a movie with someone meant a lot to me. For Christmas I got a gift from them for being a loyal customer, I was shocked because Ive never been treated so well at a nail salon before where I got a gift. Any other nail salon I just feel like a customer. At Bartram Nails, they make me feel like I am more than just a customer. Thank you for everything you guys do! It really makes my day!

Brenna Sullivan I wouldn’t go to this salon again. I desperately needed a pedicure having not had one since before Christmas. I work long hours on my feet all day long in the OR. When I chose this place I called ahead of time and said I could be there in 45 min they wrote my name down and said no problem. Upon my arrival I waited over 20min before I was taken back when I sat down I waited another 15 minutes while the man doing my pedicure finished with another customer. I almost got up and left with my feet still soaking wet and I wish I would have bc this man gave me the worst pedicure I’ve ever had. This is supposed to be a relaxing experience that a woman or man should be able to sit back and enjoy. That’s the whole point right?? This man was so rough with my feet hurt me so bad and made me bleed twice. I still have a scab on my big toe and the gel on one of them had already came off it hasn’t even been 48 hrs. To add to that Another customer getting a pedicure was already there before I arrived and finished the same time I did so mine was extremely rushed dude was looking out the window to the parking the entire time like he wanted to leave and was worried about more customers coming in.. and would have rather been turned away and let these people go home than get a shit pedicure that you know you did a bad job on bc you voluntarily give the customer a discount at the end. Worst experience ever.

Ariann Dymonic i’ve been here about 3 times and every time it’s been empty. The first pedicure was good I liked the french, the second time i got a pedicure and acrylic overlay, Both were sloppy and overpriced. Nails lasted a week had to go to another salon and get them fixed because they barely put any acrylic and all the gel polish chipped. only one person in shop speaks english. Nice interior but needs serious work and new staff and better attention to detail on their work.

I like to change up my nails with different shapes (almond, square, etc.) and different styles (French, SNS, chrome, etc.). Kayla Calvaire I came in for a pedicure, the place is very nice. They offer refreshments and the people were nice as well. Some have more of a language barrier than others. My service was not the best. My nail tech struggled taking off the acrylic on my big toes. My feet was not scrubbed properly, my big toe nails were not shaped, I had to assist with cutting my second toe to make it straight, my toes are clean though. I won’t be coming back but give it a go maybe my person was just bad. I was serviced by Kim.

Amanda Maurer I was a walk-in to get my nails done. I hadnt had my nails done in over a year but I knew what I wanted. I was assigned to Yen. She had her nails done and I asked if we could do an extra design on my index finger like one of hers. She was very nice and she was happy to do it. It took her about an hour to do the full set with design and was completely pain free. At no point was there even a pinch. Little did Yen or I know, I was getting engaged! When I go back I am booking Yen from now on.

Catherine Haas Do not claim you can do something you clearly cannot do. I booked an appt for full acrylic nails, No tips. And chrome polish. Mirror like finish. Said they could do all of it. Nope! First person i was say with had no idea how to build out nails. Finally got someone that could. But no one knows how to do chrome at this location. And I paid extra for chrome!!! Do not lie to people to get them in the door!

Grace Hellman Nice people but did not do what I asked for. Charged me $15 for chrome but the aura on the nail clearly isn’t there, even after pointing it out. They give incentives to leave a 5 star review. I originally left a 5 star review even though I didn’t get want I wanted because they didn’t look bad or anything. Forced to lower my review because the gel polish is starting to come off on multiple nails after just a few days. Definitely regret spending my $80 here.

Namuh Dabhi I recently got my nails done at this salon. The ladies were very understanding and even helpful when my daughter began crying and screaming in her stroller while getting my nails done. The woman doing my nails had her associate come over to finish quickly as she proceeded to walk my daughter up and down the store until she fell asleep. My nails turned out great. Dip powder, black, with tips put on for $50. Perfect shape, only thing is some cracks, which could be from anything. I highly suggest this nail salon for your care needs.

I don’t make appointments with anyone specific so its been a different person each time but I always have a positive experience. My onlyyy request is that I wish they would have customers wash their hands before the service for hygiene. But I’ll keep coming back to this spot!

Monica F I need to give this salon a 5 star review. This isnt normal for me! Again and again over the last few years, I keep coming back here. No matter which technician I get, they do a great job and they care how well its done. Hanna re-painted my toes 4 times today before it met her satisfaction. She apologized profusely for how it kept turning out (not her fault, I think the polish was bad). Anyway, great job! They are a tad expensive ($20 for just the toe polish change and $53 for a soak off & solid color dip). But service is always perfect!

Arianna Harris Pedicure was average. It took 1.5 hours to get a basic fullset with matte gel, he had to redo 2x while I was there. Finally said the gel set right. When I showered all the polish started to bubble and crack. I did go back the next day and was told I had to pick another color but still had issues with polish setting. I observed polish remover being added to some of the polish and assume that this maybe why. My nails look very nice now but the price of service upcharges and overall time spent I will not be returning.

Jacky Schultz Hanna is the absolute best! Every time I see her, she does such a great and thorough job. She has attention to detail and very professional. Shes so nice too, love going to her and always get compliments on my nails and toes. She is the best at pedicures I have ever had. She really does a thorough job and my feet feel amazing for weeks afterwards. Love Hanna and she is the only technician I will go to now!

For December I was feeling a little festive and decided to do a design. I always go to Noreen when I get my nails done. I proposed the idea of doing a nail design and showed Noreen some reference photos. She took all those ideas and put them into one design! I am extremely happy with how well they came out! She took her time and made corrections on my nails when necessary. She is meticulous when doing her customers nails and when doing designs. I have never done a design on my nails and the end result did not disappoint! I cannot stop looking at my nails and admiring them. The colors and designs came together so beautifully and I am excited to be able to show them off! I highly recommend Bella & Me Nails. Everyone is polite and nice. When I would walk in, I was greeted by employees with smiles. Every time I called to make an appointment, the phone was answered promptly. When there was a conflict with my appointment, I was immediately contacted to make arrangements to reschedule my appointment. When I would have my nail repaired, it was done so without question and with great service. The prices are fair and they offer promotional discounts multiple times in the year. To anyone reading reviews, I HIGHLY recommend this nail salon.

Mackie This place was all right. I came in with a friend to get a pedicure since I’m getting married next week, which I told my pedicurist. Pros: The place looked clean, the lady was very thorough, they took us with zero wait time, had lots of color options, and had a variety of treatments. They also had better prices than my friend had seen in the area. The lady was very gentle and meticulous with cleaning my toenails and cuticles. The shape was excellent. Cons: I spent a long time (none of her time was wasted in this process) meticulously picking out my nail color and showed her exactly which one when she was ready to paint. This was important because my toes will be showing at my wedding and I want them matching my manicure. She then proceeded to use a totally different color and when I pointed it out, she brushed it off saying my color was too light and it would look fine in the end. I asked her if she would put the color I chose over the white base she applied. She brushed me off and never even touched the color I had chosen. I then asked for specific color flowers which she did, but the petals were uneven and the center dot was a weird bright pink which clashed with the dark blue. In the end, I was charged $15 extra for gel polish in a color I didn’t ask for. The pedicure was $32, the gel was $15, and the design was $5. Like I said in the pros, it was clean but I didn’t see any actual cleaning of the cutting instruments, so I assume that happens in the back. Finally, she skipped exfoliating my feet and did not put in the same effort that I saw my friend getting from her pedicurist.

Cynnez Young I appreciated walking in and someone was at the reception area waiting to greet and assist me. The inside was lovely and simple which I love. No appointment was required and I was serviced immediately (no wait). They used this cool machine to buff my feet which felt greet, I thought that was very unique and innovative as well as time saving for me and the technician. My technician was very invested into removing the dead skin around my cuticles and that is literally my favorite nail tech!!! I love seeing and peeling that away, it just makes the nail/feet look fresh and appealing! I wonder if they plan to update the outside area to make it more appealing. It may be different shifts but there were not a lot of technicians working on this Friday. I am curious about them offering drinks, since I had water with me they did not ask but I also did not see other patrons with a drink from the establishment. I worry that outsiders walking pass may not be drawn to come in as the outside has an outdated look. I think adding the extra service of offering a beverage or a warm aromatic shoulder pad would elevate the already wonderful service. Overall my nails look good for me getting regular polish and the state of my nail beds. I opted for regular polish since I just took off acrylic I knew gel/dip would just separate and crack. So the regular polish isnt as flat and clean but again she did a great job with how my nails are. Will be back for that gel service end of April before my trip! Thank you for your wonderful service

Decided to start having them dipped again. I decided to not focus on the bad reviews and try this place myself. What do I have to lose....if Im not happy I wont go back. I definitely will be going back. Tu did my nails and did a phenomenal job. I did not feel rushed at all and she really took the time to make them beautiful. Some nail places make you feel rushed but not here. Wanted them done for Easter with a special cross design representing Jesus. I showed her a photo of a cross with with the purple robe representing how pure Jesus is. Look at these photos. Im beyond happy and will be back in about a month to have them done for my big birthday :)

Mary Biancalana Bella diva is a wonderful full service nail and hair salon. Everyone here was wonderful, professional, and friendly. I had a manicure and pedicure and Lilly was absolutely fantastic. My pedicure is gorgeous and she gave me the most wonderful massage for my feet and lower legs. The entire staff here were so friendly and I love that all of the staff look so professional in their matching salon jackets. I definitely will return and tell all my friends about Bella diva hair and nail salon!

Ashley Kerby My mom and I started going to get dip manicures together a couple months ago. The first time we went, I was looking up nail salons close to my home because my mother snagged a nail past the quick while she was with me, and Secret Nail had the most consistent reviews with highest rating, so I suggested we try them for a fix to keep my moms nail protected while the damage grew out. My mom is in her 70s and had never in her life had her nails done professionally before this, so she was nervous. But the woman who greeted us listened to our concerns and suggested dip powder, which is admittedly pricey but has been a game changer in helping my mom keep her brittle nails unbroken since then. We go every 2-3 weeks and have worked with many different nail techs - Elaine, Vanessa, Lina, Diane, and Kevin, to name several. All the staff there have been very kind and helpful as well as consistent in service. They do take appointments, but weve almost always stopped by as walk-ins on weekday afternoons so far and had no trouble with quick service. If you are sensitive to strong smells I would recommend not going on a Saturday, because its one of their busiest days and the acetone scent can be strong then. But otherwise, I highly recommend them!

Casey Rivera Went to a new nail salon a few weeks ago with my daughters and spent $200 on 3 sets and we all walked away unhappy! The nails weren’t all the same length, didn’t get at all what we asked for but is what it is. I went here today and Alex made everything so much better. He took his time and fixed their mess up and remembered the design and colors I asked for. He is a true artist and wants his customers happy not just there to make money! Will def be back for my next fill in.

Angelina Perugini I went here on 11/27 and got a gel French manicure. Not even a week later they started to chip from BOTH end of my nail and the cuticle side (pics of nails in car). I went in to get them fixed and all they did was add a coat of white to the tips and put another layer of the top coat on top. Now not even a week later of getting them fixed, they’re chipping and peeling off. I would not come back again given that this was my first time even there.

Nails not perfect, a lot of my previous color is still on my nails. Shaping is crooked and length not consistent. Matea Cox The attention to detail Hanna (Hannah?) gave me was great! This was my first visit here, I moved to Jacksonville from Virginia and my aunt recommended this salon. I have NEVER had my acrylic set look so good, normally nail places never get my cuticles down well and get the acrylic down so I was beyond impressed at how much she cared about the work she was doing. Absolutely will return to see her again! UPDATE: It absolutely matters who you see at this salon!! One of them cut my cuticle in two spots causing bleeding so I haven’t sat with her again. As mentioned above, Hanna was busy when I went in on a Friday morning, so I sat with another person. This was the first time I’ve been back in a couple months since I had a baby. She did not do a very good job, once I left the salon I started noticing issues left and right. My acrylics are super thick, not cleaned up and I wish she grabbed someone more skilled in nail art than botching the snowflake. I will be going back tomorrow see if they will fix it and update on how that’s handled as I’ve never been unhappy enough to go back wanting to get them fixed before. Below are the awesome nails Hanna did and then the inspo pic I gave and my finished product nails for this updated portion of the review. UPDATE: I went in to get them fixed, ultimately just having them remove the set and get a new one on. It seemed I just paid for a new set, I’m not sure if the charged me for the removal of the first set or not.

I told and showed the tech what I didn’t like about the previous service. Nails were too thick and not natural appearing at all. I requested an ombré of blue and green. Attaching a photo. Not an ombré AT ALL. And more “humped up” and thicker than before.

Lisa James I had a dip. Loved this place they were so fun and did a detailed and fantastic job. The place was pretty fume-ee. Meaning the lacquer smell is strong. BUT the detail and care of the staff is wonderful. Highly recommend Thomas.

I tried a nail salon closer to my home for a while and they just was not as great as Jax Nails and Spa. During my most recent visit, I brought my daughter because she needed her nails done for Prom. Sheena and Michael were able to make her nails EXACTLY what she wanted them to look like. Both my daughter and I were very pleased and impressed. I will return to Jax Nails and Spa very soon and continue to utilize their services!

Andrea Reed They are dishonest. I went in for a basic mani and pedi, and the cashier attempted to overcharge me, claiming it was $40 for gel polish, $20 for my hands, and $20 for my feet. I’ve supported their business before, so to see them take advantage of their customers like this is disappointing. If you decide to visit, be sure you’re clear on the pricing upfront, or they’ll inflate your bill and take advantage of you.

Naturally Ms. Olmstead I don’t normally take the time to write reviews but yalllll, the massage I just received with my pedicure was so goood!! When I walked in, everyone spoke and with a smile. I was sat down immediately and my tech took his time and checked in with me throughout the experience. I will be back!

Victoria Pearl Normally my experience is good. I had a different tech from the last time and she caused me to walk around with an infected toe for about 3 weeks because she dug too deep. I could barely walk in closed toe shoes which sucks being that im a correctional officer so i have to wear boots! They also did not apply my discount from points I earned. I dont know why they feel like thats how pedicures go. I learned in cosmetology school that you dont do that for this reason! I forgot the ladys name I wish I would have written it down. I been so busy I forgot to post. I had my service done on 7/11 and I just got back to normal about a week ago.

Tech could not do design but said she could, tech also could not lay acrylic right didn’t remove cuticle before applying acrylic also used two different types of nails 9 straight 1 curved got an attitude when I told her to take off one nail she put on crooked got acrylic all over my fingers didnt file my nails smooth with the efile went to a different tech, she tried to remove my cuticles dry when it should have been done before applying the nail butchered my fingers. My experience was quite the catastrophe after spending 6 hrs in that shop still walked out dissatisfied. I should have known it was going to be a disaster when I walked in and the employees were yelling and screaming at each other like they were gonna fight. this place is a joke. Take your money elsewhere.

Frierson Chrystal (Chrys) I’m new to Florida and needed my nails filled in. They’re open til 20:00 which works perfectly for me. I came in around 18:45 and was started on instantly. The tech was quick and done a wonderful job. She was done by 19:30 and I was super happy. One of the best experiences and colors I’ve had. I don’t know how I ended up posting the review on a different company but I did. I apologize that the credit wasn’t placed here. I’m returning tonight to get them done again when I realize the review wasn’t here. I live only a mile away and it just makes life that much easier to come to a place that does such a perfect job and knows what I want. Thanks!

Dee Gee I gave this place a chance and they failed. The lady came over with a frown and had an attitude the whole time while doing my nails. While I tried to have a conversation with her to see how her day was going; all the while, she was very short in her tone and replied she wasnt going to do any talking at all just doing my nails but she spoke in her language several times and laughed out loud (strange). While I understand everyone isnt a talker youre dealing with customers so you should at least be inviting.

Cassidy Pinto Update: the women are absolutely incredible. Went above and beyond to make me feel like they wanted to fix the situation. She did the most beautiful work and I’m so happy with it! Thank you!! I usually have a decent time every time I’ve been there, but today was very upsetting. I came in and showed the man a picture of exactly what I wanted and throughout the whole experience I had to remind him and show him the picture again and again, and it was like he was getting very irritated. He then started rushing, and my nails are extremely thick with the acrylics. The left sides are thicker than the right sides of my nails. There is white paint down my fingers. I feel like I just wasted $70 and it’s very upsetting because I’ll have to get them redone anyway. The picture I showed had a design on two fingers and he decided that it would look better with a frenchtip and that is not what I asked for so I told him to forget the design altogether. I had already spoken up several times about it not being what I wanted and I was almost there for over two hours and was not happy that I paid for it anyway. I could tell he knew I was upset and I never should’ve been charged for something I never asked for that is not good work.

AL W Leah did great with my nails during my first visit and with my husbands foot spa on our next visit. The guys who work there are also great at their job. Seems like everyone who works in this nail salon takes pride in their work. No wonder this place is usually busy even in weekdays. Mia Lock First time. They did a decent job but for $65… I don’t know. I was a bit grossed out because they had used an old file on me. Which is illegal because it can cause infections and diseases. When given a hand massage the nail techs hands were covered in acrylic dust and I was very grossed out and I would’ve passed on it and I had told her I had to get home and she still proceeds to put lotion on me. I probably won’t be coming back to this one.

Holly Brandvold Jasmine is amazing. My daughter had a vision for her christmas nails (we do our own nails so this is a big deal) and Jasmine made that vision a reality. This is definitely a hidden Gem in San Marco.

Kinzi Linzi The techs were really nice, but the quality of my pedicure and my friends pedicure was rushed. The polish wasn’t applied with much pride. There’s a lot of unpolished edges, there’s still old polish that was supposed to be removed. My friends polish smeared off despite us sitting under the fans for 30 minutes. Despite it being a very convenient location to my house, I will not be returning.

Alyssa Key Just had my nails done here for the first time. And it was, pun intended “hands-down”, the best experience I’ve ever had. The place itself is spotless, everyone there obviously loves working there, and the actually quality of my nails, and the suggestions given created a better experience than I’ve ever had at any other salon in my 44 years. They put what they want on your hands and to save money they say no other options even if it looks bad. Manager told nail tech to stop and ask me to leave because the nails being cut weren’t even. Asked a thousand if unnecessary personal questions but when I asked for a different nail because it had been cut too short I was asked to leave. And then they started talking about me in another language. Disrespectful.

Salimah Jackson They gave me exactly what I asked for and I also got a pedicure. The service was precise and didn’t take too long. All of the techs were friendly as well and not stand offish like in some nail salons. They were also funny lol they have complimentary drinks, including wine. Very classy and upscale environment. I will be back.

Jessica Devine This nail salon was the absolutely best! All the ladies there were beyond sweet and even offered us drinks! The girl who did my nails did an amazing job!!!!!! I love my new nails and can’t wait to come back!!!!!

Tiffany Cash We had a horrible experience. They messed up my friends toes and as the lady was doing them my friend kept telling them she wanted her big toe longer and wants is square and the lady didn’t do that at all and when my friend was tired of repeating herself she finally told the lady she didn’t like it and she had nothing to say she just looked at her crazy and they still charged her $65 and her toes are VERY uneven. Then , my nails had this weird color thing going on and it won’t go away and I had to file my toes and my nails because after repeating myself multiple times she ignored me and I payed $100. Horrible service and nails !!!!! VERY RUDE PEOPLE!! They started to ignore everything my friend said to them because she says she didn’t like her nails and they didn’t try to fix It to how she’d like it.

I have had many pedicures and she gives the very best !!!I have been coming here for 5 years and drive from almost Callahan for the amazing service !!!!!!! Jasmine Spares The quality of customer service has changed since Manager has become owner (Sofi) I was there getting my nails done and the manager walked over to a customer and said your friend paid for your nails, and she left and only 5 dollar tip. So was so rude about it to the customer in the store. I will say this it seems to be a regular thing at FL nails that they talk about their customers. Most reviews are accurate they do share items And if you pay attention they do not come in sterile bags from an autoclave I have decided not to return here anymore after 8 years as regular monthly customer

Crystal Armstrong I had a fabulous time yesterday, I didn’t even know they were in my neighborhood and I had random time without children so I wanted to get my nails done. I came in with the expectations one does walking into a random salon only to leave a huge fan. Not only was the man who did my nails incredibly friendly, but it was obvious he cares about the work he does and he has made a new regular and fan out of me - we are about to be besties for life because nobody has ever done my nails so well and I cannot see myself going anywhere else.

joseline Poo HORRIBLE!!! Stay as far away from this place as possible if you value your time! I went in the day before Valentine’s Day for a simple acrylic set, requesting a tapered square shape. As the tech was filing my nails, they started to look more like coffin, so I asked if he could fix it. Instead, he started yelling at me, insisting that he knew his shapes and trying to continue. I explained that I didn’t want coffin and asked him to adjust it, but he flat-out refused. At this point, I asked him to just remove the nails so I could go somewhere else. He cut off the tips and left them unfinished, then REFUSED to soak them off. To make matters worse, he started berating me in front of the whole salon, accusing me of wasting his time. It was incredibly humiliating. Then, he stormed off to the back, leaving me stuck. I just wanted the nails off at that point, but he refused again, saying he was the manager and wouldnt let anyone else remove them either. I had to pay another salon to remove the nails and redo my set. What should have taken no more than two hours ended up wasting my entire day. This man was beyond rude, had ZERO customer service skills, and was completely defensive about any kind of constructive criticism. DO NOT waste your time or money here! Clearly, as a paying customer, you’re not allowed to voice your concerns without being treated horribly. The other salon I went to had much friendlier, professional staff who actually understood what tapered square meant. If you’re thinking about coming here, RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!

Meghan Barbera I’ve been searching for a go-to nail salon in the area and I think this is my spot! The salon is super clean and they used fresh equipment for my nails. Londa was so kind and did an amazing job on my manicure and pedicure. She really took her time and was so meticulous while she was painting. I think it’s the best manicure I’ve ever received! I will definitely be returning!

Kimberly Moritz We go back and forth between New York and Jacksonville. The mani/pedis I’ve gotten at Cozy Nails are the very best of anywhere I’ve been. They look perfect and last longer than anywhere else. The salon is super clean and this mom and pop shop has the owners there doing a job to perfection every day. I make it a point to get my nails done here every chance I get. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment! They are the best in the nail business.

Lisa Crawford First of all, I get better pedicures for less elsewhere. The man was very controlling and I had to remind him to do the massage for the Deluxe Pedi. He barely scrubbed or removed callouses. Now to the manicure. I asked questions as I’m a random acrylic person. I rarely get them. But one thing I don’t like is super chunky nails. So as I was asking questions about filing down and such, the lady said “I know what I’m doing”. Which I found odd. I’m sure she does but she doesn’t know my preferences. And also I don’t know the process that well so I was, as the client, asking about it. Anyway, my nails turned out chunky and uneven. Some are shorter than others - one pinky nail is shorter than the other, for example. I went back because one jail was wonky and aiming sideways. I asked her to put a new one on and she didn’t. She added more sculpting material so now it looks worse. One nail is so thick at the cuticle, it’s catching in my hair and on towels. So, not only os this place expensive (and I tipped 20%) they don’t listen and their work is subpar. It’s like they no longer find joy in their work and resent their (new) clients.

Ashley Jayco Edit: Raising to 3 stars since they did contact me and I did go in for a "repair" on the nails. They rebuffed and polished my nails but the nails didnt really improve much since the issue which was the shaping and the fact that I had a gap between the acrylic and my skin that made the manicure look ready for a fill in. Also the lumps of acrylic under my nails are still there. Now the gap has polish over it so it at least blends with the rest of the nail I guess though its still a gap. All things considered they do look better but that is due to the fact that I paid an additional $15.00 at the time of the fix to upgrade to gel polish. I appreciate the attempt at a fix, I just wish time and effort had been put into that fix. Original Post: I came in a group of 3 for mani/pedis on Sunday, its Tuesday today and my nails have looked like they needed a fill in since I left. The shaping is very bad, there are gaps and missed spots on my nails, acrylic under my nails in hard lumps, and its very thick. The polish is also beginning to chip. Toes are the same. Bad experience and waste of $70.00

Leona Jacob Absolutely my worst experience at a nail salon. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square, was told to go wash my hands. Made another comment, ignored again. Plus they came out terrible. I’m not confrontational so I just paid and left but wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be back. Lauren Schmal IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I WOULD. I went in on Valentine’s Day to get a pedicure and POSSIBLY a full set. I was seated quickly (as they opened not even within an hour). As soon as I sat down the red flags started coming. First the guy showed me the pedicure services list and recommended the deluxe pedicure; I usually get the deluxe pedicure at my usual salon so I was ok with it…. He didn’t even take time on callus removal and buffing my feet to make them smooth. He then tried to do tip extensions on my toe nails. When I refused he then tried to convince me to do the acrylic overlay. When it refused and just said gel polish only he looked so upset he bs’d the rest of my pedicure because he knew he wasn’t going to get me to spend extra $$$ on things I didn’t want or need. ALSO he used tools out of a box!!!! Not even in the sanitized new tools in the medical grade packaging ALMOST ALL SALONS USE!!! When I said I possibly wanted a full set (this was before the tools issue) he tried 5 times to get me to do the ombré powder acrylic nails for a “natural” look. Once the tool shit happened I told him I had somewhere to be and I won’t be getting the full set he was defeated. He put SO MUCH oil on my legs and feet it RUINED my Birkenstock Boston clogs. I had to immediately scrub my body 3 times in the shower. I only used this salon out of convenience because my usual salon was booked up. It was a WASTE of $70. Praying I don’t get a fungal infection and explaining to my chain of command and PCM why I have this. Honestly might go to my usual salon ASAP to get this shit fixed.

Skylar Skinner I came in and asked if they were able to do designs and was told yes. I showed the design and was told they can do that exact design. The nail shape was wrong and when I asked if it could be changed I was told she could not change it. The design colors as well as the design was completely off and it was a simple design compared to the designs they have posted. The shop was about to close and it was late so I came back the next day they were open and explained to them what happened. The workers argued with me and tried to convince me they looked good and told me they could only fix the chipping although I payed $90. The customer service is unacceptable and prices is unreasonable since they cannot fulfill basic designs and overcharge. I would not recommend this place especially if you want any type of design.

I had a tight schedule, and they honored my time limit without compromising quality. The salon is comfortable and clean. I get dipping done here, and the color selection is amazing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and service you receive. I highly recommend Bellezza Nails for anyone looking for a great nail experience!

Trish Howard !!!!!!!!!DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!AWFUL JOB, JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!! If I could give zero stars I would… this is the absolute WORST nail salon I’ve ever been to in Jacksonville.. First off the lady was rushing like she had a place to be… her work was SLOPPY and her work area wasn’t kept neat. She removed my acrylic nails with a metal spatula INSTEAD of taking her time to PROPERTY soak them off… when I expressed to her all my nails looked different, she then proceeded to raise her voice and hands saying “then what do you want.. tell me what you want” I told her she didn’t have to yell, How IM the one getting a service done so if I’m telling you I don’t like it why are you being disrespectful….she kept trying to yell at me saying “that’s your real nail so how can I fix your real nail” (keep in mind I have tips on my nails) so I told her I don’t want her service and she said I still had to pay…. I paid $45 and their machine was acting up and she had to restart the whole thing… also two people walked out the salon during my service….. !!!!!!!!IF IM PAYING YOU FOR A SERVICE THE LEAST YOU COULD DO IS TAKE YOUR TIME AND BE RESPECTFUL!!!!!!!

Tee Redd The worst nail experience ever. Not only was I harassed by the girl with the tattoo on her face, she called the police and made up a story of me not paying all while still being serviced by the owner who already discussed she was taking off money for the inconvenience. “Tat Girl” proceeded to tell me “if you don’t have the money then just say that.” With a lot of other provoking and belittling words. All because I told her my nails which would be pictured below was not u to par. Not too mention the First Lady who did the nail put on got up because I told her I didn’t want to pay for long nails so make them shorter. It was literally a mess. I had 3 technicians BECAUSE I spoke up, respectfully at that. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They are problematic in their and would make it seem like you are.

DAELITE88 I would strongly advise against visiting this salon. The nail technician, Laura, was very unwelcoming and did a poor job on my nails. One hand was visibly shorter than the other, and when I asked her to fix it, she dismissively claimed they were the same length. I had to return three days later to have another employee, John, correct the uneven nails. Since then, the hand that originally appeared fine; nails have started to pop and slide off which split my natural nails in half. Its been less than two weeks, and if I need to get them redone, it would be a waste of over $70. I will never go back to this salon again.

Traci Bullard I decided to treat myself today with a manicure and set of acrylic nails.. I had an older man as my nail tech and Im just not satisfied with how they turned out. My nails cost 55$ and I tipped him 10. The lighting is very dim in their and I wasnt able to see them clearly until I left. My nails are uneven and thick. He didnt paint them all the way to the cuticle, so it looks like I already need a fill in. Ill never go back and definitely wouldnt refer anyone else at this place. After looking over the other reviews, its clear to me that they dont care about their customers being satisfied with their services. The whole point is to make them appear natural and theres nothing about them that look natural. I should have bought press on nails and saved 65$. Definitely wont be going back, nor would I refer anyone else.

Mauricia Bates I keep giving this salon grace and I can’t any longer. I walked in and asked for a soak off for my gel polish and a polish change. The man continued to use the drill after I ask for a soak off & the color I asked for was not the color I received. The guy that assisted me did not seem knowledgeable, I had to tell him to file and shape my nails. And to get the color changed would be 10 extra dollars because he already applied the incorrect color.. needless to say, they have lost a regular client that had been coming for over 10 years .. do not go there if you like quality work and want a good stress free experience !

It seemed slower today and we were immediately seated, but the place offers lots of seating to accommodate high trafficked times. We were both pleased with the services we were provided as well as the cleanliness of the entire space.

Rachel Shepard Kevin did a fabulous job on my Christmas nails today! I just had to share some photos. Kevin did a beautiful job on my tortoise shell nail request! Not only does he do a beautiful job, he is very efficient with time.

Rebecca Ammon I’ve been seeing Kevin for months and he always does a great job. He is able to recreate any inspo I send him, which is hard to find in a nail tech! My nails weren’t doing great when I first saw him (the dip started to lift after only a week), and I was really frustrated. He uses a gel builder technique that always lasts a minimum of 3 weeks. It would probably last longer, but I can’t stand the super grown out look! French ombré seems to be his specialty.

Alexandra Muzzarelli I give it two stars because Anna was great, she did a great pedicure. Kevin however was fast and boy was he furious. Kind, except I wasnt crazy about being called babe. But here is his rush job on my nails. You can see the pinky that doesnt look like the rest? Thats the one that he repaired. The other nine were fills from a previous woman who took her time and did a fabulous job. Still, the tops are very uneven because he probably spent 15 minutes on this job fill all together, including polish. And he bragged about going fast. I wonder if he could see what they looked like?

Ty.toochill I had Kevin today & he rushed my entire full set. The polish is already peeling off of my nails & I left literally 4 hours ago. He’d be a lot better if he took his time but I didn’t even get all the steps of a normal gel full set. He just immediately started painting so he could be done with me. Now he did do a decent job shaping the nails, but him rushing the whole process just made me annoyed. I still have polish leaking from my nails & getting on everything because he used old polish & did not let it dry completely! I had to use my own nail glue to keep the polish from lifting which I shouldn’t have had to do IF THE WORK WAS GOOD !!! I will not be coming back here unless they can guarantee me Kevin won’t be doing my damn nails!!!! I have been here numerous of times & gotten great work done by everyone else! My family & I spend way too much money here to receive poor work like this!!! Once again, EVERYONE ELSE IS GREAT ! Btw the last 2 pics are a few DAYS from when I got them done! Crazy work !
