Kenya B This is the best nail shop in Tallahassee. I get a basic full set of manicure and it is always done well. They have awesome customer service, fair prices, and my real nails are always super healthy when I remove the acrylic.

hopeless_ kris Im 55 yrs. Old and this is literally the worst pedicure Ive gotten in my entire life. The girl that did it , I could see was frustrated from the beggining as I walked to where I was asked to sit. (She was on phone) It was done in such a hurry she didnt even clean around my cuticle area and I asked for an acrylic on my big toe and she left it too high and didnt even color the sides or set it to cover my whole nail bed. When I asked her to shorten it, she gave a big sigh of frustration. The polish looks like a 5 yr. Old did it. Take a close look at my photos, do my feet look like they were done by a professional? They also didnt want to refund or fix it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.

Ange-Lose Novin Terrible customer service and nail experience. I usually come here for my eyebrows and decided to get my nails done today and it was a bad experience. I was the first one there and two and a half hours later I left unhappy. I initially asked for an acrylic overlay with a design and showed them a picture and was told it could be done. Right before the polish could be applied I was told otherwise. I changed the design to something easier and they were unable to execute it. I expressed multiple times that I was unhappy and they told me that they couldn’t replicate a design but this isn’t even close. They did not attempt to rectify the issues I had with my nails. The customer service is horrible and I would not recommend going here for nails. From my experience, they don’t care about your experience or the final result.

Ashley Goldwire Worse nail job ever. They are usually really good here, but today was by far my worst experience! I should have gotten up when I first sat down. The person that did my nails I think had a language barrier and NO one came to help him understand my repeated questions and complaints, until I was heard asking what shape I told you I wanted. If you go to this salon just be picky of who you allow to do your nails. They gave me a discount when I pointed out he almost completely filed off all the tips of every nail.

Beverly Womble This is "The Best" nail salon Ive used in my twenty plus years of receiving this type of service. I appreciate the professionalism and the friendly mannerism of each individual. The atmosphere is always calm with relaxing music. I enjoy the conversations I have with my nail technician. Shes very attentive and remembers the colors I like. Im very pleased as a client in this business establishment.

Caydence Gray The nail technician messed up my nails and still charged me $43 for a fill in and cut down. I do not recommend this place to people of color, they cater to older white women. The positive side is they are not usually busy if you need a last minute/quick fill.

Beth I went in once and the next time they remembered my name. Thats never happened before. Prices are very fair. $55 for a French dip The work they do is outstanding. My nails look great Update: I love this place. Pedicures are only $35. Nail dip $45 The service is outstanding and keeps me coming back again and again. They make sure you are happy and they honor appointments. You are a client and not a customer here Look at the fabulous dip for New Years Eve!!!!

Cara Williams Oh no! This is not the type of business you want to support! The nail tech had a bad attitude and seemed to lack emotional control because I told her I didnt like the way she trimmed my nails and asked her to fix it! Afterwards, she didnt ask me what type of pedicure I wanted, she did the most basic pedicure and charged me $45! I spent a total of $84 for a fill and basic pedicure! I do not recommend this place!

Erin Hill Nail inspo is the best nail salon in town! Everyone is so friendly and does an amazing job! I’ve been going since they opened and won’t go anywhere else! They are meticulous and make sure your nails look PERFECT before you leave! Ye, Tina and Diana always do such a good job! My gel polish lasts a month!

Brittany Sigler I had a wonderful experience yesterday at this location. I was from out of town and needed a fill in. My nail tech was Brandon and he was amazing. You could tell he really cared about his job and he was very communicative to make sure I got what I wanted as far as the color and shape of the nails. I would highly recommend this nail salon and I will be back if in the area again!

Liz Harrison I just had one of the best pedicures ever from Monica. She was detailed and polite and everything looks wonderful. I paid for the extra long massage and it was worth every penny. Will be back.

Kat Hp Over all, the business is clean, the technicians are attentive, and the customer service is amazing. I had a chip in my nails after 2 days and they redid the manicure. So I cannot complain. I took 2 stars because the application of the chrome was botched both times. I didn’t say anything the second time because I had to leave and honestly my body couldn’t take sitting in the chair again. I would come back for simple nails and if my regular nail artist isn’t available. All in all a fair place.

Charrise Lane I come here every 2 to 3 weeks to get my nails and feet done. I would say this is the best salon in Tallahassee! Everyone is so welcoming. It’s relaxing and accommodating. I always book with Teona and she is the sweetest and most patient every time I’m there. I loveeee my nails every time! No complaints

Julia Allen I loved the look inside the salon, and Athena was super nice and fun to talk to, and really detail and service oriented. But the price was a bit shocking, with my service (including the 15% first-time discount) coming in at over $70 for dip on my natural nails, that seemed a little absurd. The tools were also NOT sterilized, and the workstations a bit unsanitary. For me, thats a big no no, and is illegal in FL. I dont think I would return here, but I am satisfied with the look of my nails.

Diana Ramirez I moved to Tallahassee from the Tampa area over a year ago. Since then I have tried so many nail salons in Tallahasse and without a doubt this is the best place. Cathy did my nails exactly the way I wanted and even better. She was very detailed and caring. The work was better than the one I used to get in Tampa. The detail design Cathy added to my nails was beautiful! I found my favorite nail salon. Thank you Cathy you are amazing. Oh, I went back the next day for eye brow wax, again Cathy did an amazing job. Highly recommend Magic Nails with Cathy.

Maria The owners are so welcoming and accommodating. Pricing is very affordable and i love each set of manicures and pedicures i get, each set always lasts me for a month. Which is amazing given I work a lot with my hands at work.

Brooke Stewart Great pedicure, but my manicure was the worst I’ve ever gotten in my life (and I’m genuinely not one of those people that is picky about their nails). I came here because my usual place was closed for a few days. I informed the tech 3 times that my pinky nail had a hang nail and to please be careful, it would need to be clipped or glued. She proceeds to take a drill to my nail and almost rips the entire hangnail off with the drill - it was super painful. As the manicure went on she filed my nails down with the most intense grit file I’ve ever had used on me. She pinched my fingers and basically rubbed the area around my cuticles raw with the way she was filing so roughly. Then to top it off, I got a ridiculously messy polish job. When I asked if she could clean up the edges, she took clippers and began clipping at my skin around my nails. She pulled so much skin off on the SAME pinky that she hurt before that it drew blood. I ended up with messy, misshapen nails and sore fingers. Wouldn’t come again.

WhoopiePirate I was looking to get a makeover so I could glow-up for 2025. Lashes and nails. So I chose this salon because you can book online and I like that way because you can see when you’re booking and screenshot it. I got a good impression with my first appointment from the general atmosphere. People were nice, music was pretty great. Originally I booked an appointment to get my nails AND lashes done, but the lash tech called out, so I rescheduled. So I got my nails done: acrylics with pink gel polish, nothing too crazy. Those turned out really well! I think the guy who did my nails was called John. He offered me a free bottle of lotion or cuticle oil when we got done, which I’m not sure if it was a promotion, but that was pretty nice. The lotion smelled pretty great! Later that week, I came in again to get my lash extensions done for the first time ever. I had a visual idea on what I wanted, but no way of explaining it, so I showed the lash tech a picture of what I had in mind. She did an excellent job! Also it was cheaper than I expected. Again, I was offered lotion or cuticle oil, which I wasn’t sure was a promotion, but I still thought that was a nice touch. On top of that, I got several coupons for future services. I wish I got this lady’s name, she did such a good job with my lashes. I hope these lashes stay on for as long as possible. I feel so beautiful because I went here!! They really did such a good job with my nails and lashes; I get people checking me out (in a good way) everywhere I go. I am certain to make this place MY regular place for lashes and nails. I truly can’t wait to come back.

Autumn these were $96. i loved the lady doing my nails, she was very kind. but… once i got in the car and really got to look at them. im super disappointed. 1… $96 for what? 2… i have no polish on the sides or the tips of my nails. and there are some nails that the polish is more see through and less opaque than the others. if you dont look at them, they’re fine. these were my birthday nails and now i dont want to look at them because all i see is the sides and the missing nail polish

Harleigh Wiley Went here last week after having a good experience a few years ago and have been super disappointed. Their prices are higher than other salons I’ve gone to for the same service (ie gel, dip, acrylic, etc.) but I was willing to pay that extra if it’s great quality. Sadly it is not. I didn’t realize till after I was home that one of my nails didn’t have the dip color over the middle part of it and was already cracked by that afternoon. I called and went in and to get that nail and 2 others fixed since they were already chipping within 48 hours. They fixed them which I was very grateful for, however, 4 of my other nails as the week has gone on have chipped and cracked. Just a heads up that you might pay a lot and not end up getting a good manicure let alone a lasting one.

Courtney McLeod I had been to Royal nail spa a couple of years ago and had a positive experience, however, I went last week while I was visiting and had a completely different experience. First, the pedicure was incredibly painful and when I flinched (because she was ripping my hangnail backwards which then bled and got "cleaned off" by the dirty water in the bowl), the nail tech scoffed at me and called me weak for not being able to handle it. I had asked for a classic pedicure, priced at $35 and asked to upgrade to gel polish. I assumed there would be a $10-15 upcharge, however, it was $25 extra. I live in DC and even at the nice salons, gel polish is not an extra $25.... I got a dip manicure as well, which Ive gotten for years, and paid an extra $20 for chrome finish only for it to look like sand had been painted over, it was bubbling and textured. I went back a couple days later to get it fixed. I appreciated them fixing it, however, less than a week later after they fixed it, five of my nails had chipped off and the chrome peeled off (dip usually lasts on my nails for 4 weeks and doesnt chip). So now I have to go to another salon and spend $60 to get them all redone a week later. To spend $180 on a painful pedicure and a manicure that chips off and breaks my nails is incredibly frustrating and a waste of money.

Stacey Hayden I have been going here for years now although only as an occasional treat. The staff are friendly and do good work. I really appreciate that a new pedicure kit is opened for each customer, and they sanitize everything afterward. When I call to make an appt, the owner has my number saved, so he answers the phone using my name. Thats a nice personal touch.

LeAnn Gibson NY nails truly is a hidden gem. I have been going here pretty consistently since the spring of this year. The one time i didnt go here (because they were closed the day i was able to go) i regretted it. This will forever be my go to nail place. The people at NY nails always make you feel welcomed. Ive never felt like things were rushed or like I was the next person in the assembly line like I have felt with some of the more popular places in Tallahassee. The techs here also give the best foot and calf massages hands down.

Natisha Penn Tina did my pedicure and manicure! I was terribly disappointed for a fee of $65. My hands and feet were dried out, no moisture at all. Not to mention my "manicure" did not include oiling of cuticles. She was finishing the last drops of bath and body lotion to rub on my arms. No massaging of the hand, fingers or wrist at all! And absolutely NO LOTION! My feet still has the still has the same dead skin that I had coming in...but Tina is nice, the place is nice, and clean. All this after witing 45mins!

Sam Joslin When I moved to Tallahassee almost 2 years ago, Nail Nook was the first nail salon I tried and I will NEVER go anywhere else! I consistently get acrylic sets with fill-ins and they do a fantastic job. I see Amy - she is the best! My nails always stay strong until my next appointment. They have such a relaxing environment and are so kind and friendly.

Halie Pullen My nail tech was very gentle and very attentive and just did a great job all around on my pedicure. He took his time, and I didnt feel rushed like some other places. He was also very careful with my tender in-grown toenails, and I was most appreciative of that. Will make this my go-to place from now on.

Wendy Petersen So I went in to get a full set of nails I’ve done this not so often and paid a lot more than I paid here! Like a lot more ! This was the BEST Full set I’ve ever gotten! They truly did an amazing job ! Only regret is I did not get the wonderful woman’s name who did my nails. I highly recommend going here !

Mary Esquivel I got an Ombre Pink & White manicure on 7/24. The gal that sits in the very first chair to the right took care of me & I was very happy with them. I had made an appt for me & my 2 daughters. The down part of our visit was that we had made 2 appts for 3 & 1 appt for 330 & all 3 of us werent sat until an hour after our appts. To be fair, I was told that a few people had called out sick so they were short staffed but I think they could have done better with the time. Everyone was super nice & helpful the entire time and they were very attentive & talkative while we were waiting. I cant remember who did my daughts nails but their nails looked beautiful as well. I will definitely be returning & I definitely recommend!!

Connie Tynes Went in for brow tinting... Never again! The lady was really nice and professional, but brow tinting is not her strong suit. The left brow was arched higher than the right brow, (it was so noticeable), the ends of my brows was way to long and pencil thin, oh and it had that boxed looked lol just uggghh uuuggh!!! Now she tried to fix it but, you cant make something right when you dont have the skill set for it in the first place it just made it worst. She knew she had phucked up, She didnt even suggest to me paying half price or a free toe polish. Service was $40.00 and a "oh well"

Emily Ressler I came here today because the salon I normally go to was booked and I needed my nails done today. I don’t remember the ladys name who did my nails but I arrived at 3:30 and they close at 5 which is plenty of time to do dip. The girl was rushing , made my nails twice as thick as they should be, my nails are bubbly when dip shouldn’t be and she didn’t clean up my nails whatsoever. I also paid for tips just for her to file them down to the original length. The ring finger in the second picture is also crooked and when I said something to her she didn’t fix it. I went back inside to say something about the bubbly top coat and she seemed annoyed and after redoing it to still look bad she ran out the door before I did. I am also bleeding on my pinky and she didn’t seem to care. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Susan Taylor I have been going to this salon for roughly two years because of the EXCELLENT service & fun atmosphere! The staff is courteous, skillful & the selection of techniques and colors are extraordinary! I highly recommend this location, in particular, because the ingress & egress are so easy! Another *bonus* is that the salon is family owned! Make an appointment! You wont be disappointed!

Autumn i mean… anyways. world nail spa is really good! i used to go there religiously until i tried here. lets just say i will continue to support my usual salon. these turned out crooked and my nails are already lifting and i got them done 3 days ago. i asked for short square milky nails. not mad with the color, just the shape and the application are terrible

I opted for a pink and white manicure and the nail specialist got it all bulky and crooked . Even after letting her know they look weird she did not pay any attention . I paid double the amount again to get it corrected ( to fix their mistake I was charged again ) by another technician immediately right there and then . But still have crooked and all weird looking nails . Have to go again to a good salon to fix them again tomorrow. Total waste of my money and time . Very poor quality work by both the technicians in this place .

Riley Mullen I just left the nail salon and I am highly disappointed in the results. I went through 3 different nail people to complete my set. I left with my nails lumpy, different lengths and polish covering my fingers. They charged me full price after I expressed I was unhappy.

Kambria Thompson I originally came to the salon wanting a full set, predicure and eyebrows. However as you can see I only paid for my feet because of the service. I did not like the way my feet were done so I informed the manager and she assured me they would be fixed correctly. She proceeds to fix my feet which from the pictures you can tell that it only got worse. I paid 75 for a callus pedicure and this was my results. Never again!!! Thankful for another salon correcting their mistake & taking care of my other services! They also charge $25 for gel polish which is ridiculous. I will never come back to royal nails!!!

sage barineau i feel so bad writing reviews because I never do. But I was so disappointed with my gel mani and pedi. The guy was in a rush the whole time and half the time wasn’t even looking at my nails while he was doing them. He did not even scrub my feet at all and my nail polish is on my skin and also not on my whole nail. For 105$ I feel like it could have been a lot better. I feel bad but I could have done a little better job myself I will not be back :(

Kimberly Girolimon Earlier today I went in to have some tips put on. An older gentleman helped me and he absolutely butchered my nails. Almost every single nail is bleeding or rubbed raw. I am seriously concerned about not only a skin infection but also a fungal infection due to the instruments used. He used black dip and then put a gel top coat. It caused uneven texture and nail shape. They looked rushed and lacked attention to detail. I haven’t had my nails done in 15 years. I was hoping for a delightful experience and left feeling shaken and worried about my nail health. I was in shock at how awful they turned out. I paid, tipped him (I know I shouldn’t have but I’m too nice) and left. Once in the sunlight, I saw how horrendous they looked and it confirmed I needed to have them fixed. I went in and asked for them to be redone. He took me back and within 3 minutes caused yet another bleed. Thankfully, Lynn came to save the day. She spent an hour fixing his mistake. I asked to leave her a tip, because without her I would have left crying and mortified by my nails. I highly recommend Lynn. But I’m still concerned over the health of my nails and what they will look like when I remove the dip and tips. I’m terrified I’ll get a skin infection or fungal infection. The tools used were not sanitized and you could tell he them on multiple clients without sanitizing between clients. I regret not walking out when I saw that and when the first bleed happened. I’ll never return to this salon. However, I cannot stress enough that Lynn was an incredible nail artist and saved the aesthetic of my nails. I would recommend her to anyone. She actually deserves the initial payment and additional tip I left the salon.

Katie Hess 5 ⭐️ for the quality and employee care, 1 ⭐️ for the pricing. I am from out of town and live in a much more expensive state (any state is compared to FL let’s be honest), and a classic gel pedicure is $45 where I’m from. In their pedicure menu the classic pedicure was listed as $35, so I expected $45 for a gel classic pedicure. I was stunned when I was told that the charge would be $60. I wasn’t given any extra treatments or time, and I had a pedicure a month ago, so there wasn’t anything extra to be done. When I asked for the price to be double checked, I was told firmly that it was $60. If that’s going to be the price, fine, but please fix your menu because it is extremely misleading to customers.

Jamie R. McCammon The facility is nice and the staff was great. This was my first visit and brought my 4 year old for a mom and daughter date. Cost was $45 for my daughter to get a basic pedicure and nail polish on her fingers. The gentleman that did hers was so kind and she loved it. My basic pedicure and dip set was $115. My pedicure seemed rushed, but overall was ok. My fingernails on the other hand are bad. Theres lumps where too much powder was put on and then areas like my thumb edge where almost no powder color was put. Theyre shaped weird with no consistency and some are crooked. Maybe it was just my tech, but for the price, Ill be trying somewhere else next time.

brooke land Layla and her team are AMAZING!! Layla has been doing my nails for a few years now, and has never once left me disappointed. She is INCREDIBLE with designs!!! She just recently started doing my lashes and boy does she do a great job! I’ll never ever go anywhere else!

Sophia Moffett I have been to many nail salons and I never thought I would find someone to do my nails with perfection. My sister told me about Pro Nails and I have been getting my nails done here ever since. My go to guy is V and he is very good at what he does. He has not disappointed me yet. He is very gentle with my nails and I have never had any to break or the polish peel off. If I were to recommend anyone to a good nail salon it would be Pro Nails and make sure you book with V.

D May Ingram 10 stars for V!! I have sensory issues and sensitive nails and he was very attentive to that. He has a great personality and made me laugh a bunch of times too. He is very friendly and professional and very honest if you ask him what he thinks about a design. He doesn’t try to get more money out of you and isn’t pushy. I really enjoyed all three times getting my nails done by him. The second and third time, I got an amazing pedicure by him as well. I don’t even want to go to anyone else anymore. The same goes for then men that worked on my pedicure and full set today. I work on my feet so i asked for extremely short toes. I really appreciate the time they took to work on nails.

Nydia N First time at Lees. I got a regular pedicure & gel manicure. It was ok. Pros: service was ok, reasonable prices, nice interior with iPads at each pedicure station. Cons: reservations not taken, theres a waitlist only, it wasnt the BEST polish job ever. It was just ok. Nothing bad... I didnt like that he used a drill on my natural nail to do gel polish. Ive never had that done before...Gel lasted an average amount of time. I notice the gel started lifting on the 6-7th day.

Rocky Able I went there 3 times : my first time was wonderful even I had a doubt on the price of the service. If you do not know anything about nails service like I do its very obvious to let you believe the price they ask you for. My second time was horrible . First I asked her the price because I wanted to know how much it will be. Price was correct but the service was awful . While She was busy with me she was working on other customers. Also she rushed and the result wasnt nice at all. The nail polish was all over my fingers and most of the nails werent polished well. Price paid was okay but I was very disappointed because I wasnt cared and no conversation with the employee. Its a time to relax but felt more I was taken as a chicken in a cage . My third and last time wasnt pleasant at all. I told them I came last time and the service was awful. It felt they cared about me but I was far away to know how many consequences I would pay by complaining . Before starting I asked her how much it will be . Well she had a strong accent and couldnt really understand her clearly but I guess she said 21$. She did a good job this time BUT she started to ask me many questions where I was living, what I was doing, .... . After finishing I had to pay and its there the awful part . I had to pay 30$ and she asked me how much tips I wanted to give her. I thought tips were something secret and written as a surprise for her. I paid but I told myself I wont go back there because they charge you how much they want even you ask them to justify the price. Do not trust them at all !!!! Its sad because its cheap but does it mean this store needs to exaggerate according to the status of the person.

Lindsay Myers This was my first time going there and will most likely be my last. The guy that did my nails kept getting hand cramps and shaking really bad. But my thing is if its thar bad you should not have said you can do my nails. They are so uneven. My middle finger nail is super long compared to the rest. And the shape looked funny. I had to try and fix them some when I got home. Which Im still going to go somewhere else and have them fix them up. For 60 dollars this was not worth it at all. Very disappointed. And they charge a fee to use debit card. Ive never had that had that happen out of all the places Ive gone to here. And they didnt tell me about the fee before they charged my card at that. Never again.

chelsea eberhardt I walked in to the place and was immediately greeted with kindness by the employees. I got sat down for a pedicure first, and the experience was amazing. My toes were in rough shape as I recently got my nails removed a year and a 1/2 ago and they grew back with a bumpy rigid texture. The guy who did my pedicure was so kind and gentle with them and made sure to cut down the rigid part for me to leave this smooth texture to my new nails. He asked me before doing anything new if it was okay with me and took his time and displayed the upmost patience with me the whole way. After the amazing pedicure experience (mind you it was just polish as I didn’t wanna take a risk) and also a cuticle trim, I had an amazing experience to top it off with another guy and girl working there in the manicure area. I ended up going with gel polish and acrylics (full set) and I informed them that the last place I went shaved down my nail bed when applying acrylics and it was painful during the removal. He was very gentle and understanding the whole time and also took the time and care to display patience with me! Then when it came time to actually design the nails, the lady who did the flowers on my nails did a phenomenal job. I wish I could put a face to their name, but all 3 employees showed the same kind, gentle, understanding, and patience attitude that makes me wanna come and make this my regular spot. I tipped $40 at the end of it all but honestly, they deserved more. The store itself has the most kind and caring employees and I highly recommend, for $152 being my total, I was pleased with their work and will be returning. I would like to point out that the last place I went before this, not only charged me $60 for the set.. All of my nails were crooked and not done correctly or properly. My nails were damaged and looked shabby. This place is 100% incomparable to that place.. they go above and beyond and make sure you are happy with your nails.

Teriona B This used to be one of my favorite salons until this day, they gave me a worker that is not experienced in acrylic toes and he made my acrylic extremely big , which caused damaged to my toe nail, now I don’t have a toe nail , almost had to get my toes taken off because of how damaged my toes was , I am extremely upset I’ll never go back here ever again ☹️

Heavenly Anha 3/5 rating here’s why: 1. I would like to start with the environment seemed very clean and everyone was nice.. Unusually quiet but nice! 2. The pedicure was literally like 20 minutes, she didn’t ask me how i liked my french design before she cured it and also didn’t ask me what shape i wanted.. I tried to inform her but like i said it was so fast by the time i looked up from my pod cast she was curing them. 3. My nail tech was nice, asked me how i liked the french before she moved on to the next nail, the only thing is like i said they’re super super rushed so my nails were popping off like press ons not too long after the service. I feel they were the right amount of busy for the staffing they had so i’m not sure why everything was so rushed French was nice but foundation application was flawed They have the potential to be a great salon but as of now i don’t think i’ll be returning. Maybe in the far future.

princess sparkle Do not come here. First couple times were alright. The last time i was getting an acrylic removal and new set. Not only did he not remove them (just ripped them off) but gave me multiple cuts and acted extremely agressive during the entire process. So agressive I started crying and I do not have a low pain tolerance. When i went to pay they charged me 65. On their services it says an acrylic set is 50. I put up a fight and they explained there would be 6 extra for getting tips, which is understandable. But also that there would be a ten dollar charge for removal. I told him that my nails were not properly removed in any way, I did not get proper treatment in general, and I have come here before with the exact same service and had not been charged that amount. I talked to two employees and the manager and nothing could be done. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company and I will never be going back. I would’ve been ok with 65 for a quality service, I have paid that in the past at other places, this is not about the money it is about being charged extra for very poor treatment.

Shenna Maxwell I visited this place a 5 ago for a full set and a toe polish, in 4 days 2 nails popped off and the nails was coming up on all my nails they charged me $95. So I went to another nail place on the 6th day to get a filling with no polish because of the nails coming up. I liked how nail art designs and polish so I went back there for a polish and they charged me $70 for a polish nothing else. Ill never go back there, that is ridiculous, the lady said they charged 30 for my length that they didnt provide because the other nail place did my filling and 40 for the polish. Just sad! They dont like when you dont come to them for everything. If it was done correctly I wouldnt had to go elsewhere. Price gouging at its best... MAKE SURE YOU ASK HOW MUCH BEFORE GETTING SERVICE NO MATTER HOW LITTLE YOU ASK FOR

Lyndsay Laveau Ive been going here to see Tee for about a year now, and I cant brag enough on Tee! My nails always turn out great and last such a long time. The salon is extremely clean & everyone there is very friendly. Ive been getting my nails done forever, but Ive never actually enjoyed the experience until I found Tee & this salon. Ive always struggled with cracked heels, but with regular pedicures from Tee, theyre finally in great shape with zero cracks, so dont skip the pedicure.

Kate Stanley Being that I am currently 9 months pregnant with my due date in a few days with a gift card my friend gave me, I was really looking forward to this...UNFORTUNATELY...I will NOT be back after this visit! The woman that was doing my pedi made a comment that was extremely unnecessary after I told her I was pregnant. She said and I quote, "Oh youre pregnant? I wouldnt have thought you were pregnant. I just thought you were big because some people are big like that you know?" We had just started my pedi otherwise I would have just walked out. She was the lady that wears the jade jewelry and only her thumbs have long nails. I cant remember her name. She wasnt very nice though and just left me there in the seat while my toes dried. I was just really uncomfortable the entire time. I was really hoping for an awesome experience and I just did not get that here! Needless to say, I did not tip her!

jillian bates If you’re looking for a place that makes you cry in your car over how bad your nails look then this is the place for you. I used to go to Polished on and off for the last couple of years but this last time will never have me coming back. In entirety my full set took less than 45 and that’s with them doing another ladies nails at the same time as mine. My cuticles were absolutely murdered, you can clearly see every detail of what’s going on underneath the polish and there’s bubbles formed between the layers. It’s been a week (picture posted is right after I walked out of the salon) and you can truly see how wonky and misshaped they are. I really wish they would have turned me away so I could’ve gone somewhere that cared about my nail health and doing a great job vs trying to make a quick buck.

Had the situation been addressed with a statement such as, "Due to our priority on safety, we are unable to offer you a pedicure at this time, but we would be happy to provide you with a manicure," this review would not exist. Nandi Brown I got a pedicure on 12/17/22. Upon leaving everything was fine until I start noticing a change in the shade of my polish the next day. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but they were not. Today is less than a week since I got a pedicure and there is a black film on my polish. I believe this is a result from the top coat. I have never had this happen before. As I just moved into town, I explained that to the owner and I was told, it is" due to the lotion that I use and because it is a week, there is nothing they can do for me". Please take heed, and pay attention to this if you get a pedicure here. Im a black woman that always lotions to moisture and nurture my skin. My pedicures never get a black film on them from lotion. Also he was not willing to simply repaint them for me without a topcoat 6 days later. Anyways, I will not return.

Lauren This has been my go to nail salon in Tallahassee. I have only had a couple of bad experiences, but every time I go to the owner to get my nails done, they come out great! The prices are also really affordable! I got a full set, medium length & coffin shape for $35 and it lasts 3-4 weeks! Could not recommend this place enough :-)

I did a basic $35 gel polish pedicure. don’t be afraid to ask for price transparency so there’s no surprises. I made sure to. Place is always clean and the staff is friendly. I always walk in, no appointment. No long wait which is a plus.

Liana Paponette I brought my dad here to get his very first pedicure, and they removed his ingrown without telling or asking him, causing both big toenails to swell up. The lady that did his pedicure didn’t speak to him at all and never asked if he wanted any additional services (she never scrubbed his feet). I had a full acrylic set, but the acrylic was way too thin on the nail, giving it no support. Two of my nails started lifting the day after getting my nails done. After spending the amount of money we did, you would think the service would be better, but it wasn’t.

Regina Falange I got a pedicure here three times. I did have some good experiences. However, they are just inconsistant. I wasnt really happy on my last visit. Three of us got pedicures. First it was in cold water, and they would only add a splash of hot water when we said something. All three of us got the same pedicure. Two of us got charged $70 and the other $55. However, we all wanted the $55 pedicure. They never asked what kind of service I wanted.....they just charged me the highest price. Last thing, I asked for gel polish.....and it was 100 percent a different process then the last time I came. After going their 3 times I have given them more than a far chance....going to try some place else next time.

Ive been seeing Mickey since I was 13, and she’s fantastic—her skills with nail designs are top-notch. I treated myself to birthday nails today, and I couldn’t be happier! I usually go for shorter nails since I’m an MUA, but Mickey really brought my long nail dreams to life. The prices are reasonable—not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive, and the quality is well worth it. And the complimentary wine is such a nice touch! If you’re looking for a great nail salon, Nail Bar is definitely the place to be.

Clo I posted this review on Friday but it was taken down the following day. I got my nails done while on vacation but one of them had broke on the way home. I stopped here to fix the one nail and the results are repulsive. The nail is crooked, painted poorly, and there was glue left all over my finger. Would not recommend this place.

Charkeveia Hall So I’ve had the pleasure of trying this place out, and my experience receiving a Pedicure was incredible! The husband did an amazing job! However, my experience with the wife was the total opposite. I’m not sure if she has a dislike towards young women, or what but, I tried the place twice to be sure I wasn’t discerning harshly. The first time I went, I got a mani w/ a white finish, and you could see through the polish straight to my nail bed. She had me pay before starting, and being who I am, I’m a big tipper. I felt robbed of my services both experiences. The second time, I tried acrylic with tips just cause, maybe she’s better at certain things. No, she did terrible, was extremely aggressive with my nails, and tools used. Because of my personal experience, with her specifically, I won’t be back. The place has potential, but I don’t think anyone would feel comfortable being treated that way. Again, husband was incredible.

Megan Vickers I went to get a mani/pedi the guy done my feet and that part was great the gel polish looked/look great but the guy applied my acrylic nails & they are crooked some fingernails look thicker than others, and the woman painted them. I wanted black paint on the tips kinda like French just not with white. And I’m pretty sure she didn’t do the gel polish bc it’s been three days and they are already faded and chipping. And they charged me $95 after telling me $85 until the woman spoke up and told him I wanted just my tips black not the whole nail then it went to $95. Which makes absolutely no sense. This is the 2nd time I went there and was too impressed with the acrylic but I’d definitely go back for my pedicure there!

Mia DAurio Literally the best nail salon in Tally! I have been here many times, and each time I get my nails done it turns out fabulous!! You can literally go in and have anyone do your nails and it will turn out 10 out of 10. I’m including my most recent nails, I got them done for my birthday and they turned out Pinterest quality! If your going to go anywhere in tally, I highly recommend Bliss Nail Spa!!

Although it isn’t perfect, I think they did a great job and my nails closely resemble the reference photo I showed them. This was a gel manicure on my natural nails. Cost was $85.

Kendra Tompkins I went because I had a gift card. The pedicure was okay, the full set, gel with chrome powder was lacking. My nails are all pointed toward the ceiling and they aren’t even a week old and chipping. The young lady doing my nails didn’t speak to me at all, and seemed incredibly rushed to finish my service. The owner/manager (?) stands over everyone’s shoulder and hovers at the door. It’s intimidating to someone trying to relax and enjoy some pampering. While they may give others an excellent experience, the few times I’ve gone, I’ve not enjoyed the experience.

Christina Shideler Edit from original review: apparently the spa was purchased by new owners very recently. I noticed a difference in some things that made me realize it, but I did confirm with staff. First the owners that are normally there were not. I loved the old owners! They knew my name and everything. They also had some terrible TV show on, signifying that they probably got rid of cable to save money. They also are not putting the dip powder in a separate container anymore, so they are making their nail techs use the same container for every person. That was part of the reason why I highly recommended this spa because they were so clean. I’m worried about sanitation with the new ownership. I love my nail tech still, and will probably continue to go there unless I see a massive difference in the way my nails last. If they are pinching pennies as much, I doubt they are going to be as willing to work with people and guarantee their work, like the old owners were, but do not have personal experience to attest to that. Original: Bliss Nail Spa has been my go to since they opened. It’s the cleanest nail salon I’ve ever been to, and their staff is wonderful. They care about their customers and value your business. I have had them repair my nails no questions asked (5 day guarantee) and they want people walking out of there happy with their service. A+

Ngelika Tobias-Narvaez Was excited to come for Helen, heard she did great work and my old nail tech moved so I was looking for a new long term tech. She gave me an appointment time of 5:30 after I told her I was a full acrylic Christmas set with designs. 15 minutes before she asked if I was still coming. After getting there 5 minutes late due to traffic (I let her know), She was still 20 minutes behind from her last appointment so I still had to wait. When I got in the chair she was very snippy and seemed to want to get me out of the chair quickly. She was kinda rough with flipping and filing my hands and again, didn’t really look over her work and was kinda on auto pilot not speaking. Her designs he werent very crisp and she never wiped them off to try again. I told her I didn’t like a color and she said “ok you need to pick I have another customer.” But I’m a paying customer as well… why would you book me for a full acrylic set when you had an appointment before and after me and rushed me out of the chair, I realized this would NOT be a place I would give my money again after she went to ring me up, showed me the price still not saying anything and handing me a pen to sign and I still gave her a tip and she took the receipt and never said bye or anything. I wasn’t rude I wasn’t mean or nasty, I asked 1 maybe 2 questions? 2 gems popped off when I woke up the next morning and looking over them I noticed many imperfections from bumps to dents and a finger print from when she took my nails out of the light too fast to rush me out. The nails were some what ok but I would’ve spent my money where I was wanted as a customer. Super uncomfortable and uncool. Edit: with the response along with that back and fourth conversation we had on Instagram, I’m not sure why she’s making me seem like I’m a bad customer or a terrible or difficult person. This was MY experience and from the reviews prior and her work online, I would have no reason to walk into this nail salon being rude or nasty. I’ve never had a bad experience in a nail salon or in general that warranted a negative review but wow… My old nail tech was an able to freestyle a vibe AS WELL as fit them onto my shorter almond nails (I’m a teacher, they need to be short). I’m not saying my money is better than anyone elses but it felt like it wasn’t even valued on the same level, I’ve never been told to hurry up and pick because the tech didn’t time her stuff out properly. I showed up 5 minutes late and still waited 20 minutes to get started because she was running behind on her last appointment, so late or not, I still waited, that’s fine. If she forgot about me or got times mixed up and told me that was fine and I would completely understand but rushing me out the chair is so unacceptable! I left my job early for this appointment. Again during the appointment I felt like I was so polite even after the hurry up comment so I’m not sure how I made it uncomfortable for her during the appointment. A week later my nails are already lifting like it’s been 3 weeks. I’ve never had an experience like this, and I pray you don’t either, maybe I caught her on a bad day and I wish her the best but degrading my character because I made an honest review is unacceptable.

Shanika Joseph I went here twice and got my nails done for my birthday. I got an acrylic full set and a young lady whose name I dont know did it. I noticed there was was something green under my nail and then noticed it was on multiple nails. Upon removing the nails I saw FUNGUS. This nail salon clearly has employees who don’t properly clean their tools before using them on other people. Fungus is extremely dangerous and I couldve lost a finger. If you plan on going here you might as well bring your own tools if you want to save your fingers. It was a beautiful nail set but terrible outcome.

Amanda K Beca does my nails, and they are CUTE every single time. She takes her time to make sure everything is just right. The blue set is the set she just gave me and theyre my faves. I also have gotten pedicures and polish on my toes and it was amazing. My oldest daughter also gets hers done here (hers are the pink tips) Great atmosphere, never crowded, if my kid comes, theres a nice spot for her to sit and chill. Definitely recommend, you wont be sorry.

Gretchen L. Beatty When I got to this location, I was asked what I wanted. I mentioned that I needed to have my nails fixed and I was told to go sit down. She didn’t ask me if I wanted to take a look at what colors they have or anything like that. After I was seated, that’s when I was asked what color I wanted. I pulled up a picture of the color that I wanted, and asked her if they had a color similar to that. She brought over all the colors that they offer. I chose the one I wanted and she verified with me three times that the color I chose is what I wanted. I said yes, all three times. Once I was taken back to where I would be seated the lady that started doing my nails took polish off four of them before getting up and walking away. She then came back did four more nails and got up and walked away and this time took the electric file with her. Upon coming back to where I was seated she was eating food and brought the electric file back with her did my two remaining nails grabbing the electric file and walked away and said nothing to me. Nobody said anything to me as far as why this lady got up and left so many times and didn’t say anything to me. I was asked if I wanted some water. About the time I was about ready to get up and leave Kim, who is an absolutely wonderful person came over, did my nails and apologize profusely for her coworkers rude behavior. I will not go back to this nail salon because how I was initially treated.

Twyla Sketchley I love Tee and her staff. Kind, sweet, caring. Ive been coming here every 2-3 weeks for more than 2 years and have never had a bad experience. Im hard on my nails and my nails withstand almost anything. They are always beautiful. Tee does fantastic designs for me that always get peoples attention and compliments.

Kelsea Holmes This is my 3rd time coming here for pedicures. The pedicures have lasted over a month with absolutely no chipping. The service has always been good. Great customer service and they really scrub your feet. I have gotten the #4 Pedicure which is pure heavenly. The only issue I would say is the pricing isnt consistent. For the same pedicure I have been charged between $70-$80 between 3 different times. I dont mind, but if you have a strict budget you may want to ask about the charges. Other than that, I love it here and will continue to be back. Ive been serviced by 3 different employees, but my favorite is the older gentleman.

Jamina Wusik I got a gel pedicure as I always do. This was my first time here and my last. My toe nails are crooked, and the paint is chipped. Literally it’s been a day. 1 day, I have never smh. I got a kids paint job for my 5 years old which usually lasts a day maybe 2…al the polish is off but I was told while there that They would not fix it if she smudged them. My oldest daughter pedicure basic at best but that’s fine. We were rushed my daughter’s eyebrows are crooked and missing a chunk out of them. My little one has nothing to show for and I have chipped and crooked toes. This is exactly why I stopped going to Mall nail salons, not to mention the woman doing my five-year-old nail polish kept grabbing her hand roughly and turning it in order to paint it just no patience at all and I’m still a good person. I made sure I tipped on top of being $155 but they can keep that business to the people who don’t know any better.

Miranda Smith Im very upset with my experience here. I paid $45 for the nails in the pictures. I felt rushed out to where my nails didnt dry and are now all messed up. Not only that the man made my finger bleed. My fingers were not cared for properly as there is still dried glue on the backs of my fingers, hang nails, and disproportionately sized. I am very angry about this experience and will not go back. I was also charged $2 for not wearing a mask and wasnt told about it until I thought to ask.

Cheryl Witt Guy in charge is bossy. I came with friends for the sole purpose of a relaxing foot soak and massage as we had been on our feet for hours. There were three of us, but only two available attendants. It was a cold and rainy day he refused to let me soak my feel while I waited for him to finish. Finally my friend convinced him and I was able to enjoy a few minutes of bubbles. He massaged my left foot really well and when he shortchanged the right one I asked for a little more. NO! After that I gave up.

My nails are usually 65 and pedicure 35 ok...... So, my daughter and I went recently and he did white powder on my nails ( when I asked for white gel nail polish) and pink powder on my daughter ( when she only wanted French tip) we kept getting a no it wont look right or last long ( when I get gel nail polish all the time and it lasts just like it always does) so now I know why he did that ( MORE MONEY!!! Because he said something about the bills at the salon. Ok ... Moving along, I said how much for my pedicure ( just to see what he would say because its usually $35.00) he said, $45.00 I said no, regular polish, he said no only gel. I said do you have regular polish for toes anymore??!! He said no!!! JUST LIED TO MY FACE! I said well, no thank you!!! SO TODAY, I WENT ELSEWHERE TO GET MY PEDICURE ONLY $30.00 AND IT WAS A MAGICAL EXPERIENCE!!! I LOVE IT!!! I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE BUT I WILL BE GOING BACK TO THE ONE I WENT TO TODAY.... WAY!! CHEAPER AND NOT TRYING TO GET MONEY OUT OF YOU!!!

Ms. Tinson I visited Hawaiian Nails with a friend who has been going there for a while, expecting a quality experience. Initially, everything seemed fine as only three people were working: the mother, the husband, and the son. The mother was welcoming, which gave me hope, and I picked out the colors for my manicure and pedicure. The older lady did my manicure, and I was satisfied with her work. However, when it came to my pedicure, I immediately noticed that the older gentleman who was assigned to it was rushing through the process. I attempted to guide him on my preferences, but he ignored my requests completely. When I told him I was displeased with the way he was doing the pedicure, I asked the woman who did my manicure if she could take over my pedicure. She spoke to the son, who then asked me if I didn’t like it. I said no which noticeably upset the older man at which point, disrespectfully yanked the plastic protective cover out of the water and then told me to leave. The son, seemingly the only one who could understand my concerns, informed me that the older gentleman was the only person who performed pedicures. Throughout this ordeal, the rudeness of the older man was shocking. I’ve rarely experienced such poor service—especially considering that I view pedicures as a special treat that I seldom indulge in. I take great care of my feet and budget for these moments of pampering. Being told to leave was entirely unacceptable and disheartening. My expectations were not unreasonable; I simply sought a basic level of courtesy and service. Customer service is immensely important to me, and I will not tolerate disrespectful treatment when spending my hard-earned money.

J D I took my teenage daughter to Pro Nails on Pensacola St first, and were turned away because they “don’t do acrylics for minors”. The woman was very condescending and rude to us there. We happened to see Hawaiian Nails on the way home (we were on a time crunch, so didn’t think we had time to find a new spot) and it must have been fate. We were taken care of immediately, without hesitation. Young man was very quick, we were only there for 30 mins total! He was very gentle with my daughter’s hands and did not hurt her. The nails turned out exactly like she wanted. Well worth the $40 plus 30% tip. Excellent service, friendly staff and atmosphere. We will definitely return!

Jasmine Hutcheson 1st, sponge was washed & reused. Nasty! Poor service. Poor communication. I asked to plz focus on cuticle care due to frequent hand washing. It was rushed & not thorough. I am not satisfied with the manicure and expressed that. There was still no effort to resolve. I sensed that because I chose natural over spending big money with gel or powder, my satisfaction wasn’t a concern. Certainly not worth $55! I took a chance with this place and regret it.

Kathleen Scott One of my favorite nail salons! They are quick and efficient without losing the "Im being pampered" feel. The techs are friendly and quick to recognize repeat clients. Not overly luxurious, but comfortable and clean. And I found my new favorite summer nail color!!

Kamaya Payne Horrible experience, the people in there have the WORST attitude- the person i went with got charged 78$ for a pedicure and a cut/file down on her nails. When i told the lady i didn’t like my nails she caught an attitude and was very rough with me since the beginning. She would smack her teeth and role her eyes at me as well. They are also unsanitary, they use sour smelling rags on your legs and they use a vacuum to get the filing debris off your hand- WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Barclay Renovations Quickest pedicure I’ve ever had. No frills, no extras. Asked for two colors on my nails and I was told no, they don’t do that. Asked for acrylics on my toes and they would only do one toe on each foot and they don’t accept tips if you pay with a card. The lady actually stopped me from signing and adding it. So I left it off. I can’t believe a tip was even turned down considering the service really didn’t warrant one. First time. Last time.

Ariele Williams Not my regular nail salon. Chose them due to being open late. Horrible attitude soon as you walk in the door. Does not know how to talk to customers. Needs to learn customer service skills. Did not even get a chance to get my nails done because the lady at the front desk has such a horrible attitude that I could not deal with. Walked out just as fast as I walked in. If you value customer service do not go here.
