Brittany Mackey I had an absolutely amazing experience on my first trip to Mosaic! My husband had recommended the salon to me after seeing how I struggled to find a place that got my hair to the level of an old salon I had gone to for years. Reluctantly, I took his advice and got to meet the owner, Mike, himself and he is a true talent in this industry! He made great recommendations on how to get my hair back to being in a healthy state and also for what stylist I should see that would best help me address my hair goals. I immediately felt that he valued me as a customer and wanted to help me achieve my hair goals. Afterwards, I had a styling session with Maggie, one of the salons newest stylists. Since my hair had significant damage from recent work at another local salon, I was at a loss for how to style my hair for an event we were going to. Not only did Maggie provide an amazing deep conditioning treatment to help my hair on the road to recovery, but she patiently and cautiously styled my hair in a way that was safe for it and also looked amazing! Maggie has a true talent for hair and style and is most certainly going to be a very valued stylist :)

Paula Grimaldo I went for a Facial with dermaplaning and a full body massage. I will definitely be a returning customer. The facial was so relaxing and my skin looks like porcelain. My aesthetician was also very helpful with coming up with a plan for treating my skin. As for massage....well after lets just say I felt my tension no more and felt like I was walking on a cloud.

Christina F This was my first visit, I had Nikki as my stylist, she was awesome, very knowledgeable and my hair came out so good. I was very happy, from the receptionists who were also very friendly and even the other stylists who smiled as they walked by.7

Jaden Thrift Ive been coming to Mosaic in the milk district for 2 years and have been seeing Ryan and he is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! Every time I come in, he is always willing to listen and explore new ideas for my hair and does such a great job. He is the only person I would ever trust to do my hair. He takes his time, is patient, and is so skilled at what he does. The entire team is very welcoming and friendly as well and always make me feel at home. I would recommend Mosaic and Ryan to any and everyone who wants their hair done!!!

Kelsey Kierce I was so excited to try this place to get my hair done. I was looking forward to it for weeks. I made my appointment for a basic color/trim. I get to my appointment and was only booked for a haircut only??? I was so disappointed. The girl I made my appointment with over the phone even asked how long my hair was for the color so I’m not sure how it changed to just a haircut. Maybe I’ll try them again in the future but it was my birthday and expected to have my hair done. I understand mistakes happen but it just really upset me.

Cori-Anne Bonfilio As a busy single mother my hair was long over due and with my birthday coming up, I decided to treat myself to a full color change. I asked my gfs if they had any stylists they recommend and was referred to a stylist at this salon from a trusted family friend. I reached out to the stylist to confirm I could get an appointment on the morning of my birthday. After confirming the appointment I sent her some photos of what I wanted my hair to be when I left. She asked me to also send some photos of my hair at the time and confirmed it would be an easy change. I paid my deposit and put it in my calendar. Between then and my appointment, my time had been changed twice up until the last minute, and after confirming that I would be done on time to get to my birthday party, I showed up at 1pm (original apt 9am). The stylist was very kind and we talked about how shes always loved doing hair as she worked on me. When it was done, she turned me around and there was a distinct line around my head where red roots met blonde lengths. After I pointed it out, she had commented that she had indeed noticed and then proceeded to style and show me anyways, as opposed to fixing it. Had I not said anything, she was ready to let me walk out. She told me she could put in some low lights to blend it out, and proceeded to dry and style again...and it was again still there. She commented that this had never happened to her before and she has no idea why it is like that. She told me to try purple shampoo. I had her put in more low lights and it was again still there, though she said she didnt see it. I had her get the owner who said yes, the line around my head was quite obviously there. The owner instructed her on how to blend it correctly and told her to FaceTime her if it didnt work, as she had to run. It was less noticible but still there. She told me she was sorry but had no idea what else to do. She did not FaceTime the owner. She simply told me to try the purple shampoo again and proceeded to charge me full price. I asked her if the owner would be in in the am and she responded that she wasnt sure but that she was an independent stylist. All in all, she was nice but absolutely unprofessional and did not seem to take pride in her work, as she was willing to let it out the door with her name on it in such a poor state. I was 1.5 hours late to my own birthday and my friends who knew i was running late due to a hair crisis identified the issue immediately. By the end of this ordeal my hair was not even what i had asked for (copper with blonde highlights throughout) - it is a balayage. My family friend who refered me apologized and said she would not be referring anyone else and would seriously be considering her options. After consulting with other stylists I have an appointment in a couple weeks after I give my hair a break. They said they do not believe this stylist specializes in color or balayage, and every stylist in this story agreed that it should have been a simple switch. I would have at the very least expected a discounted price as I will now have to pay someone else, a free correction the following day, or a followup call from the owner to review potential options. All in all, this was an extremely awful birthday experience that continues, and a very unprofessional response.

Jeni De Crotie I love coming here. I hadnt had a haircut in so long and Jackie was the SWEETEST and helped walk me through some tips and tricks with what to do with my curly hair. I highly recommend going here, the staff is professional and friendly!

Milton Perez This was my first time visiting Atelier Salon, and I was beyond impressed! The service was exceptional, warm, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Tony was amazing, meticulously detailed and took the time to ask all the right questions to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. His precision and care truly stood out. And to top it all off, I was greeted by the sweetest little dog, Tilly, which made the experience even more special. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the professionalism of the entire team was outstanding. I highly recommend Atelier Salon and will definitely be returning!

Destiny Perez Tony and his staff always do such an amazing professional job. Not only is the salon just beautiful but I always feel like a queen diva when I leave. I’ve been coming to Tony for 20 years and drive all the way from Leesburg one hour away. It’s always worth it.

Brady Gillespie Rosie is simply the best! She worked her magic once again, my hair looks and feels amazing. I’ve been her client for years, and she never disappoints. And this salon in gorgeous! In the heart of downtown and is absolutely stunning! The staff are so welcoming, and the front desk person even went out of her way to let me borrow a phone charger. I can’t recommend Rosie enough:)

Mariela Carrillo Amazing experience! I’ve been scared to cut my hair for almost 2 years because I like it a very specific way. Angelica and Wes are absolutely amazing—both are skilled, attentive, and always make us feel right at home. I recently had my hair colored, and I must say, the results were fantastic! The color was perfect, and the overall experience was top-notch. Since I had to wait for my color to set, they were kind enough to treat me to a free hair treatment, which was such a nice touch. My hair felt so much healthier afterward! The salon’s attention to detail and their dedication to making every visit special is what keeps us coming back. Highly recommend!

So believe me when I say if you book an appointment here with Leanne, you are truly in the GREATEST hands. From the moment I sat in her chair I knew she was someone I could trust with my hair. Her attention to detail and care to understand/communicate my goals and fears absolutely did not go unnoticed and I left my (now second) appointment with her having quite literally my dream hair. I’ve always been insecure about my hair so for me to walk out those doors feeling confident was huge. I continued my day hoping people would compliment my hair so I could thank them and let them know it was the incredible work of Leanne. I, without any doubt, could never see myself going to anyone else for my hair. CAN’T THANK HER ENOUGH FOR THIS LOOK!!! (also important to note that I have also been cut and styled by both Jay and Louis at Privé and would happily recommend them for patience and care towards protecting my naturally curly and problematic hair when styling) Truly, Privé is an incredible salon and I can’t wait to return for maintenance visits.

Valeria Melendez I came here about two months ago and I decided to leave this review because I still cannot believe how bad my hair looks. I have long hair and I asked for Curtain Bangs. I have half of the top layer of my head hair cut halfway down until almost the back of my head. Meaning, no curtain bangs on the front, but it looks like I have a helmet because they go almost all the way to the back of my head. As you can see in the pictures look at how all that first layer is cut all the way to the back, and it also looks crispy now because it is short. I grabbed one of the peaces of the back so that you see how far to the back it goes. Instead of cutting just the front, she cut all the way until the middle of my head! She did not do curtain bangs, but my top layer is cut almost all the way to the back, instead of just the front (like a curtain bang) and the fact that I have one side bigger than the other one and the difference is outstanding. You can see the difference in both sides, it is super noticeable. How did she do this? I have no idea but to think that it is because she cut my hair wet, I think that is the reason she couldn’t even it out and she took more than what was supposed too because she couldn’t measure properly. I came to this salon because I thought it was a professional salon with experienced stylist. Unfortunately I got a person with not that much experience and I ended up with something that cannot be fixed, but HOPE for it to grow really fast so I can go to another salon and get it fixed and even. It was a shame because I was really looking forward to this place. I had been to Prive Salon once before with a male stylist and it went great. I was giving it time to see if it was the sudden change but even people that I know and family members have asked me where did I go, so that they never set foot in that salon.
