Liza Liza NOBODY SHOULD COME HERE!!!!!!!! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!! I had my hair done here the other day (highlights and haircut), first, they charged me waaaay over than it was supposed to be and they burned my hair that much that it started falling out. It looks horrifying. They also cut it so now my hair looks weird with different length when I asked for face framing, they cut off one side more than the other. The blonde lady was the most rude person I ever seen in my life. They messed up my hair and also tried to over charge me. When I refused to pay that blonde lady by reception started getting aggressive. Completely unprofessional and disgusting behavior.

Hedy Helene Have been coming to this Salon for years now. My hair is color resistant and they use Goldwell products. Alex is my hair artist and she has always done her best to accomadate me. Great location, friendly co-workers, nice atmosphere and good pricing. My go to salon.

Idalia Irigoyen No good!! My mom go today was supposedly do bowl dry and the person say to her need little hair cut in the back and she don’t cut little she star cut more and the bowl dry no good, parts the hair wet!

April Clark The worst place I have been to for my natural hair in my 43 years on this earth. So I seen this salon advertised on channel 7 for Black History Month. I decided to give them a chance because I haven’t had anyone touch my natural curly hair in eight years. The first time I went in trying to start a routine for my natural hair, I was told by the stylist Terri to just keep doing what I’m doing, which made no sense to me because I have natural curly hair. I wanted it to be more fuller. I want thicker and healthier hair of which she did not have any idea about that. I decided to give her a chance, she forgot to add a treatment to my hair. I also made an appointment for the following week to get a Bob glued into my hair being that I was going on a romantic getaway. The day of service I went and got my hair done and I kid you not three hours later I looked it like a Chia pet. I don’t know what she did to my natural hair. I had hair tracks falling out the whole time. I had to wear a hat, I stayed at the Ritz Carlton, all the photos I took I had a hat on. When I return back, I reached out to one of the owners. She told me that she could not give me back some of my money and she was going to speak with her partner regarding this situation. It is now November 1 and they have not reached out to me, I was also told that I was going to get a credit towards another service. I don’t know what she put in my hair. My hair has been falling out in clunks. I literally have a small fro. I am doing this review because I know how much, a person care about their natural hair and I cried for a whole month about losing my hair that I’ve been growing for over 15 years. If you, love your hair and you don’t want it to fall out. I advise you to go somewhere else and that’s my personal opinion

Renee Gabriel Went in for a consultation with Trudy on Saturday. The shop was clean and the staff was polite and lively, I was greeted immediately. Came back a few days later and recieved great hair tips on my natural hair coupled with EXCELLENT service! Will DEFINITELY be back!!

Brown’s Family Today is my 3rd visit and each time is a wow factor! The customer service is on point, the vibe is right and just the physical and overall aesthetics is so inviting. As for my beautiful sister locks, it thrives because of the best care it gets on every visit‼️ indeed a #trendsetter!

Tify Burks I’m honestly surprised there is not more reviews. I got goddess cornrows, I’m not sure if that’s the official name but that’s what I coined them as and I LOVE my hair. I believe the price was affordable, the service was pretty good, and I was out in a reasonable time. For aftercare, I use the mousse that I got on sale at the shop (still worth it at full price) and the shop’s hair oil that was gifted to me by a friend. I’m excited to start my journey to having a really big Afro and I’m grateful that I got to start my journey here.

M G I came in for a full color, wash, deep condition, style, and a haircut correction because another stylist in the salon said they could cut my hair in the style I showed them and they but here’s my hair. The only reason I went back was bc the owner refunded me the money and offered to do my hair personally. She cut my hair before and I liked the work she did so I felt confident in going back. I requested the first appointment and arrived on time. Upon arrival there was another client in the chair waiting to have her hair blown out and braided. After waiting for almost 40 minutes the stylist/owner was actually trying to go back and forth between the lady in her chair and doing my color. Half way through she instructed another stylist to take over doing the color. When I realized there were only coloring my roots I realized something was wrong. When I brought it to Simone’s she stated that she meant to only color my roots first and lift the color in the rest of my hair using a fluffing technique. From what I know you lift color first then you add the color you want second. Basically instead of an even copper color I had patches of copper throughout my hair. I had to go back to my Dominican salon for them to fix the color and treat my hair. This was my first time going to a natural salon since going natural 8 years ago, and I was initially excited about finally finding a place that actually came recommended. The mistakes made are one thing but the lack of professionalism and the blatant disregard for the client and the end product was unbelievable. Very disappointing.

Marie M. I love coming here on a monthly basis. Oftentimes, we make it a Girls Day Out date with one of my daughters, sister or a niece. I’ve had the greatest experiences with both Luz Maria and Maya who I can request online or by phone. The hostess is always super pleasant and attentive too, offering drinks from their regular drink list. I do wish they added sparkling water, but in its stead, I order a mimosa. When it comes to a style, whether I choose the Mai Tai or a regular blow dry, my time here feels exclusive, regardless of how many other customers are also getting pampered. The ambiance is relaxed but somehow fun as well. The decor, with the elegant framed mirrors, is perfect and I just can’t recommend them enough!

Haley Maruschak Had an appointment at 2, checked out at 2:45. At 3:45 I was looking in the mirror back at my hotel at flat hair. Essentially paid for heat damage with nothing to show for it. Asked for the "Cosmo" from the book as the stylist said she had no idea about how to encourage my own natural curls, had no clue what a diffuser was. Very disappointed in my first DryBar experience.

Sasha Sosa The worst blow out I’ve ever had in my life. I left so upset and unhappy with my hair I had to redo it myself I was in tears . I asked for a bouncy voluminous middle part blow out and I got a straight blow out with spiral curls used with a straightener , flat no volume no bounce and a side part. And my hair was pulled , tugged , head poked and burned with the blow dryer. I paid and left and will never be going back .

Lori Block Do not recommend this location at all. Zero urgency, dont confirm appointments, do not appreciate their customers time, or have any sense of customer service or friendly service whatsoever. BRING YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. So disappointed in this location. Last time I went they were over an hour behind, no phone call, no apology, no offering of a diff stylist, or water or any type of accommodation at all, had to literally go around and ask myself what was going on. Will not go back and will look for another blow dry bar. Very sad as in all other cities I have lived the management has been good.

Katia Demeire Top notch salon and service! Heather, the co-owner is a master at color and she really takes care to watch throughout the process. I chose this salon from many after much research to dfund a master cut stylist and Elisa kept popping up. I original went to make an appt with Elisa to give me a good cut an style, she not only literally is a master stylist but in every sense and she has the best aura. Services are not inexpensive but worth every penny!

Madeline Diamond Went to Sullo for the first time yesterday and it was such a great salon! I had Johnathan and I left with exactly what I wanted! The place was so cute & they offer anything you could want! 10/10

Pam has given me the best highlights I have ever had and I lived in NYC and South Beach. I walk in there feeling not so hot and leave there feeling gorgeous. Try Pam for great style and color, she’s the best!

Jenni Fortier I had a bad experience at a different salon a few months back and moved to Fort Lauderdale and had Sullo recommended to me from someone who had their hair rescued from previous disasters at different salons so I knew I was in the right place. Having blonde hair can always be risky and I sometimes has a time length, hair stylist cannot always perform miracles. I thought I would have to get a baliage to ween myself from being blonde which made me sad. But the lovely receptionist had fully understood where I was at and recommended me to their blonde specialist Heather. Heather was a absolute blessing and earned my trust immediately and she ensured me that I could fulfill my blonde dreams again. She has a wealth of knowledge and and experience and was so much fun to talk to as well. Her assistant working under her was attentive and kind and also did an amazing job learning along the way. We did all the conditioning treatments and they were very attentive to detail and the health of my hair, and clearly communicated answered all my questions. They literally performed a miracle in my eyes. I really enjoyed the energy of this whole Salon and would definitely recommend 20/10 to all the blondies out there that you will be in great hands. I had walked out of there feeling like a Goddess and it has changed my confidence. I will definitely be going back without question.

Dana Kantrowitz Friendly staff and stylists, but two times they didnt listen to what I asked for. I told the colorist I dont want red. I just wanted to cover the grey in my light brown hair -- and it came out copper. Thankfully, she corrected it on my second visit. I saw a different stylist for a haircut only. I asked him for a trim and said I dont want to lose much length from my med-length layered bob. "Just clean it up." He gave me an entirely different shape (def. not a bob) and a significantly shorter cut. I told him I havent had my hair this short in years, and he pushed back, saying he cut barely anything off and this looks better on me.

Dayana Briceus Booking an appointment was really fast and easy. I went in for starter locs and Olivia was really nice! She did a really great job and was gentle on my hair. The bad reviews had me worried but my experience was great. Definitely will be going back once a month for my retwists.

Mercedes Martinez I took my daughter here, she has 4c hair. When they were done her hair was straight but when it was time to wash it her hair was extremely damaged. It went from curly to bone straight and it kept breaking everytime I brushed it. I literally had to cut her hair about an inch Long because it was horrible. Ive never in 8 years put any chemicals on my daughters hair. And nownmy daughters hair is taking so long to recover from whatever products were put in it. I went in asking just for a wash and blow dry and left disappointed. Please let your customers know what it is that your putting in their hair before you put ANY PRODUCTS NOT ASKED FOR! They also did not give me the price until we were done. I originally told them what I wanted they gave me a price and after we were done they added on another 50 dollars smh

Stephanie Came to ask about highlights and the workers were very rude and way overcharged. Wanted just a highlight retouch and they wanted 300, when it’s at max only worth 180. Also came here in the past and wasn’t very pleased on the outcome of my highlights, would not recommend.

Michele I paid $1200 for k tip extensions. The extensions did not match or blend with my hair at all. Aside from that, they were applied to tightly I was in a ton of pain for a week after they were applied. The hair was damaged, and a week later, one already fell out. If you are looking to get extensions, I would recommend doing your research, and ask to see several before and after photos. Do not go here. Autumn Markley is a much better salon to go to for extensions.

Kayla Neher I give this place a 2 because I REALLY LIKED my stylist. However, in what world is a SIMPLE blowout $120? I have read the responses from the owner on here so I’ll save you (the owner) from responding to me in a condescending manner. I spoke with the older blonde lady at the front and asked her why my blowout was $120. She responded, “the time it took”… it took 45 minutes. She also stated it was because of my hair type. If you have ethnic hair, stay away from this place because they will charge you more than the other white women. My stylist wrote “custom” on the receipt, why wasn’t it just charged as a blowout? It was a simple wash, blow dry, and flat iron… the receptionist was very rude and told me “I don’t know what to tell you.” I traveled here and only booked because I read good reviews. But, if you are Black, they will discriminate against your hair and charge you MORE for a simple blowout (my hair is heat trained and VERY easy to blowout!). A breakdown of the charges for this service would have been nice. If the owner sees this, I would love to chat with you further as to why you are charging black women more than the blowout price listed on your website!

Abby Robinson Traci was so sweet and professional. She was so knowledgeable about the products she used and was very helpful in answering any questions I had! I highly recommend getting your hair done by her because her service was to die for! Best massage ive ever had! You can tell shes passionate about doing hair just by hands and her sparkling personality! 10/10 Will be back just for her!

Francesca M I was so exited to dye my hair there. But had a bad experience. Originally I was going for darker roots and a nice golden cooper towards the end. Instead I got red/orange roots and extremely dark ends. Before we started I asked the hairstylist very nicely to try to avoid an orange/red color and she said that everything will look good, if I knew she can’t avoid that color I would’ve stopped the process even before we started so I don’t end up not liking it. At first she did tell me that we won’t get the ends as light as in the picture I showed and I understood and appreciated that she told me before we started. 430$ went to waste. I went back and explained the hairstylist what’s going on and she rescheduled me back to do my roots again so their not red, but won’t be going back might as well dye it at home by myself. When she finished my hair I wasn’t disappointed at first, I saw that it’s not exactly what I wanted but it looked good on me so I went along with it. I was happy as long as I looked good with the color. But then the next day I washed my hair and the color changed completely, my roots became orange/red and tonight I washed my hair the 3rd time since I went there and there is still a loooot of color coming out of my hair, how is that even possible? What products do you use ? I will attach the pictures,before , right after at the salon, and after the 3rd wash. Honestly I just want a refund.

M I am a first time guest and had an amazing experience! Luann and staff are warm and polite. They made me feel great and were very hospitable. I wasnt made to feel as if I were a number and will be going back to Tease!
