Jen Jay I went in to get my hair colored and I left with pink and orange streaks in my hair. I told them and they declined fixing it and told me it’s supposed to be that way because of how my hair was before, but I have always had blonde hair and I’ve never had pink or orange in my hair before. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and went back and asked them to fix it and they wouldn’t fix it and told me that I need to get more highlights to fix it. I’m so beyond livid with this experience and wasted $250.

Cloe Benoliel Rose Mary is the best stylist! She always works on my hair and does a great job. I have been coming to Wapas since 2018 and im super happy with all their services!

Julie K Shai is THE best stylist in Broward hands down! Not only does he do exactly what you want, when allowed to do what he does as an artist, his work is second to none. Also, I think we all know how hard it is to find a good colorist. Shai is absolutely top tier. Consider yourself lucky to be in his chair! The other reviews here that are one star are ALL based on the front desk customer service which most definitely needs to be addressed, but is also in NO WAY A REFLECTION OF THE ARTISTS IN THIS long time Broward staple salon. Also, if you CHOOSE TO GET EXTENSIONS, you have to realize there IS a risk of some breakage. I went to one of the top extension stylists in NYC and literally half of my hair broke off over a few months. You need to be aware of the risks involved and not blame the stylist if your hair is affected because it likely WILL get a bit damaged. Apart from that, if you can get past a wait (even if you have a scheduled appointment), you will be so glad you did. Also, always remember, if you are having to wait for Shai, its because he is working hard to perfect the person before you. You also want the same special attention that they are getting, so be patient and be happy to know he will give you the same treatment. His prices are comparable to prices elsewhere. He may be slightly higher, but you are paying for his experience, expertise and BEAUTIFUL work. If you want to be a literal MASTERPIECE, go see Shai! He is worth every penny too. To top it off, you couldnt meet a nicer guy! Thank you, Shai, you are so gifted!

Al F Gladys did an amazing job fixing my haircut! She was professional, attentive, and really took her time to make sure everything was perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the result. Highly recommend her and the salon!

David Laguardia Gladys is excellent. Best haircuts of my life and I am 69 with a full head of hair. I prefer a full scissor cut with no buzzing around the ears or up the back! This takes patience and skill, she has it all!!

Sam Rivera Thank God I finally found Carmen and Ana they were at the great clips in the village square however the places closed. I can now get my skin fade at the same affordable price . These ladies know what they’re doing. They are sweet, friendly and very professional and knowledgeable plus my fades are flawless just like going to a barber without paying the high prices. I make sure I use the check in feature, its great . I highly recommend going to see them . Tell them I sent you lol

Kristina Martinovic Very unhappy with my haircut. She cut much more than I requested and the entire cut is uneven. Also they have very cheap hair products. She couldn’t even brush through my hair and when I asked for a detangling spray or serum to help brush through my hair, she didn’t have anything. Would definitely not recommend or go back there. Also they charge $45 to blow dry your hair on top of the Groupon price you pay. Not worth it

Lianne Aranha Although the staff was sweet, did not get even close to what I asked for. They’re not very knowledgeable on color theory and at one point bleached the center of my head (my roots) so I looked bald. They were going to leave it like that if I didn’t look so alarmed and ask them about it. They then had to fix it thank god. If you’re going for something simple - I’m sure they’ll do a great job. However if it requires a little more technique and knowledge about color - I would look elsewhere. Also heads up: $30 for two highlights on my bangs which were just bleached so now they’re orange instead of caramel/copper. I’ll have to fix that at another salon now, but the rest of my hair looks alright and he blow dried it well.

alexandra nekhankin I came to get the dead ends off, I said an inch or 2. She took off 4 at least, all uneven all over. Gave me layers in the front after months of me growing it out. I am crying writing this. My hair is 2 different lengths completely. I’m sick.

fifianaaa Wouldn’t recommend. Got starter locs done by her. Have people telling me their uneven parting and size wise in the back. Texted her asking for a refund because I took them out. She told me she had a no refund policy on her page. Asked her to show me where and she couldn’t. Then changed it to say that it was because I already left. She told me to call the salon number. Called and left multiple voicemails with no reply. I found out it was her business number that she just wasn’t calling back which was weird and annoying. She then changed her website to say no refunds at all, making it seem like that was always the case. Unprofessional. Still never got my refund, not even the partial one I had asked for.

Mikia Alexander I loved it. I had a bad loc job done by my retired uncle, and I had no confidence in it. My sister booked me an appointment and Lyrette was absolutely amazing. She never made me feel out of place and she frequently asked me questions and we maintained healthy conversation. She explained what she did to my hair before starting, and made my head look wonderful. 10/10 service. She made my roots look great and fixed my edges as well
