Aparna Nair I had a very disappointing experience at this establishment. I was scheduled for a 12:30 appointment but was left waiting for 20 minutes past my scheduled time. When I politely inquired about how much longer it would take, I received an incredibly dismissive response: "Maybe another 5 minutes, otherwise, see ya." This lack of professionalism and respect for my time was unacceptable. As an Asian female, I couldnt help but feel that the treatment I received from the elderly gentlemen working there was dismissive and unwelcoming. Regardless of background, every customer deserves basic courtesy and respect. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Evgenia Kashirskikh I had my highlights done today with Marcus, and I’m absolutely thrilled with the results! The color is perfect, and I couldn’t be happier. Don’t be fooled into thinking Bobbyshop is just a barbershop—they do an amazing job with women’s hair too! Highly recommend!

monika jarzecka Lee is very talented hair stylist. He listens and he knows what he is doing which is very important to me. He has a great eye what’s working and not working for your hair and your overall look. On top of that very friendly and fun to talk to. I am very happy to have him as my new hair dresser. Thank you Monika

Heather Bolint It’s been years since I’ve been to a salon due to my active lifestyle and busy schedule, but after how my hair looked and felt after just one visit, I think I’m hooked! Erica made me feel comfortable and beautiful from the beginning, and made sure I got all the information on how to keep my hair healthy and happy between appointments. I work on the water and swim in the ocean multiple times a day, so being able to know how to take care of my hair is invaluable. I’ll definitely be back and would recommend Erica to anyone!

Candice Vansant Excellent job! I havent had my hair done in almost 10 years. The last Stylist I had messed my hair up so badly that Ive been nervous since. But after hearing from numerous friends how well Amya was especially with curly hair, I had to go for it. Let me just say WOW! She did a phenomenal job and Im so happy with it. I will definitely be recommending her to all my curly haired friends. Thank you again!

Amber Ramsey I can’t thank the ladies at Spoil Me Rotten enough! I had Erica (makeup) and Candace (hair) do my makeup and hair from my wedding and I have never felt so beautiful in my life! They also did all my girls hair and their attention to detail was amazing. Not only did I get to feel that way on my most special day but they really treated me as if I were a friend and the conversation was flowing amongst them and all my bridesmaids. It felt so natural and added a detail that I hadn’t thought of and made it all the more special. Not only that, but I have switched to Spoil me rotten as my regular beauty salon and will be a loyal patron for years to come…. We all know how important it can be to be friendly with our hairstylists and these ladies have that in spades!

Captain Mike Helm Josh saved me from a terrible hair job done by a neighboring hair salon. The female was supposed to be experienced, NOT! Josh & I now see each other weekly… He is very experienced with dealing in all types of hair and can answer any and all questions. I didn’t realize how uninformed the other hair person was until her mistakes showed up on my head. Thanks Josh❣️

Angelica Rose Ortiz Josh was absolutely phenomenal! He knows what to do with your hair and will take really good care of it. He was able to turn my hair to something that would be shining through out summer! I highly recommend him and the salon! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Daniel Lutz I am among the lucky people in town who has become a client of Josh Becker. Appointments should be made well in advance. I have been to countless stylist over the years and Josh finally got me! I trust him completely. His salon is serene and he is a delight to spend time with.

Dara Burke Josh is an absolute artist. Super professional. He radiates positive energy and is super charming. A great conversationalist with awing stories. I came in with orange hair from transitioning from brown to blonde and walked out with the blonde I was hoping for without the damage. The salon is quaint, but soothing with tons of live plants and ambient water trickling from the saltwater fish tanks. I’ve never been to a salon like it before; and that’s a good thing. So zen. I’m telling you, this is the place to go if you’re looking for a new salon.

Amy Shrader Since I am no longer affiliated with Key West, I feel like I am entitled to leave my full disclosure. I asked Hailey for "sun kissed highlights" (showed her picture #2, #1 is my original ) from the beginning, and I paid $560 and 8 hours in the salon. Did not get what I paid for. First off, I pulled my hair up in places, and she didnt even COMPLETE A PARTIAL HIGHLIGHT. I brought it to her attention right away and said to just fix it the next time because Im laid back...AND THEN the next round before my wedding. She not only denied and failed to do what I asked the second time. Charged me another $400+ for something I didnt want.... my hair is completely destroyed right now and thats why I took this much time to write this... Now... I already had to pay 4 times for low lights, and now I have to pay to start over. She totally ruined my hair. I must have been "new to the island" but the photos show, you are a complete rip off and your workers take the easy way out and have zero care in your business. Clearly you dont specialize in dark hair because you wouldnt have left the bleach in so long to turn my hair white . You should all be ashamed in yourselves.

The Maribelle TV When you had a bad hair day and when you come to these salon you will really really had a triple whammy very very bad hair day (Fotos Attached). First of all I DO NOT RECOMMEND to waste your time and money in these place. As you can see they messed up my scalp. This is not a work of a professional. All of the color is all over my face too and my forehead and if I did not help removed those stains in my skin, they will not be willing to removed it all for once. I mean cmon a womans face and skin and forehead should be treated with care and if I did not help removed those stain hair color as if what the??? am just gonna walk out of their salon looking like a whatever human being? Second, they stained my grandmas sweater that I loved so much and now my grandmas sweater is totally ruined(fotos attached). My grandma is dead and that sweater has a lot of memories for me. Third, when I get back to my place I look at my forehead and on top I see some kind of skin irritation and I can still feel that chemical they put in my hair. I will wait for a week to see how that skin irritation in my scalp is going. All in all BEWARE to come to these place. Forget about these place.

Emily Barnes It takes a lot of trust to go to a salon you’ve never been to 2 DAYS before your wedding, but the owner did an AMAZING job of my hair. I had a destination wedding in KW, and my hairdresser in DC let me down and left me with serious dark roots. My hair is really dark, and really stubborn. Usually, it takes hairdressers a few times before they get it right. This time, I was absolutely desperate to have my hair perfect for the big day and was willing to take a risk. The owner squeaked me in LAST minute on a weekend, and took hours to get my hair just the right shade of shimmery blonde. She also put in some rose colored pieces, and added them into my extensions too. I’ll be honest, I don’t remember what I paid, but whatever it was, totally worth having the look I wanted!

Amanda Talbott I can’t say enough great things about Kai & Co. They just gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had, and I am absolutely in love with it. Not only do they have an amazing eye for detail, but they also take the time to listen and make sure you get exactly what you want. The whole experience was so fun and relaxing, and I left feeling more confident than ever. If you’re looking for someone who is skilled, professional, and genuinely cares about making you look and feel your best, Kai & Co. is the one to go to! Highly recommend! You can tweak it to add any personal touches, like their salon name or something specific you loved about the cut!

Miranda Murphy Great experience with this locally owned/run salon! Erica and Haley are true artists! Dont let the laid-back vibe fool you, these women know what they are doing! They use high quality products, dont skimp on application of products and were fun and easy to work with! Haley worked extremely hard to transform my hair and I am in love with the results! My moms cut and highlights turned out beautiful too! Dont hesitate to give this salon a try! I will definitely be back! Thanks, Kai and Co!

emalyn mercer Les has been cutting my hair for 10 years now. Thats probably over 100 haircuts. I seriously dont remember one single time when I didnt walk out feeling great and loving my hair. I get stopped all the time by strangers asking "who does my hair?". But more than the result, I love the process. Lydia gives the best shampoo on the island , hands down. Les has 2 sweet doxies who hang out in the shop and give kisses as needed. Greg is an amazing massage therapist. It may be a dollar or two higher than the next place, but you get what you pay for in this life. And Les is the best.

wannabe conch got my haircut there on a Thursday morning by a barber named Anatoly. He asked what I wanted and I told him make it short. He asked how I liked it cut and told him normally they use a clipper on the sides and cut the top with scissors. Thats exactly what he did and did a great job bringing fading it all together. He also offered to do the eyebrows and without asking he trimmed those pesky ear hairs and lower neck hairs. all in all great communication and a great cut too. I will be back

Nathan Asked one of the male barbers for a low taper and I received a high fade instead. Showed them a reference photo too and they completely bombed it. I kept asking one barber if he knows what he’s doing and he told me yes. Completely unprofessional, caught him dropping his buzzer on the ground. And this is the SECOND time the same exact barber bombed it. I want my money back

Len Williams I was quoted $45 over the phone for my homeless friends haircut. They charged an additional $55 for a shampoo, and did not disclose this shampoo charge until I paid with my Visa. They also lied to my finance company regarding the disputed charge. I would discourage any business with these crooks. They intentionally deceived me by quoting one price, and then not disclosing a $55 uncharged for a shampoo. Dont get ripped-off...

Mari Berlayar Very nice and spacious salon. The service is very good, everybodys friendly. I got a very good haircut and I enjoyed it. The only downside is that its a bit pricey. I guess its worth the price, but I wont come often.

Patrice Frederique If you’re Black and want quality hair care, I wouldn’t recommend this salon. I went in for a wash and set (wash, blow-dry, and straighten) but had a terrible experience. First, my hair was washed three times without any conditioner—already a red flag. Then, three to five different people started blow-drying my wet, unconditioned, and untangled hair. It felt chaotic, and no one was properly detangling or handling my hair with care. In total, six people worked on my hair, which seemed excessive and unprofessional. On top of that, the owner gave me a haircut that left my hair butchered. Pricing was also unclear—there were no set prices, so I had to trust whatever number they gave me. To make matters worse, they were more focused on selling me products than actually taking care of my hair. If you had a better experience, good for you. But personally, I regret spending my money here. If a salon is going to serve diverse clients, they should hire someone who knows how to work with Black hair or take the time to learn. Lesson learned—I won’t make this mistake again.

Ang A highly professional staff, from the time I walked in, to the time I left. I was completely taken care of from being offered a beverage to the extra long scalp shampoo/condition i received. Kudos! to the amazing Staff at Maricells!! Thank you ❤️ for making a lady feel like a lady.

D C Great place for a cut, wash and razor shave on the neck. They do more too. Ive had great haircuts at other barber shops on the island, but this one was probably the best haircut and experience I had living in Key West!
