Shaya Moreno Went to get acrylic nails done and unfortunately I never got the name of the lady who did my nails but I will never go back. From the moment she started filing my nails she was very grotesque and rough so much so that she ended up cutting all of my fingers and my pinky was so bad it was bleeding. She never asked me to wash my hands (I don’t think they have a restroom). She kept spraying a mixture of alcohol and water on my nails which of course caused all my cuts to sting badly! She placed so much acrylic gel on my nails and didn’t distribute and file it properly so some areas of my nails are lumpy and uneven. She never bothered to clean the inside of my nails after applying the acrylic so it was all left stuck and clumpy with white powder.

Even though I moved from the state I flight back down every month or two just to have my hair treated by the best Sandra. I had chopped off my hair at home and needed it fixed right away, I called the salon and talked to the owner which she sounded very sweet, she was able to fit me in. As soon as I went in they made me feel very welcomed. I was embarrassed at what I had done to my hair but she was so professional, explained everything she was doing and made me feel comfortable. She cut my hair and left it much better than when I walked in her salon. Definitely recommend her salon!

Allison Williams Been going here for about 9 years. I have long, thick, extremely curly natural hair and when Sandra sees me come through the door she knows exactly what to do! When I leave here people ask if I got a relaxer or keratin treatment, which I don’t. She also is the only person I trust to cut my hair. I ask her to thin my hair without taking off too much length and she does it perfectly every single time. Love this place!

Aleta Lyons I write this review with genuine distress, having never encountered such unprofessionalism and outright disrespect. The experience I endured at this salon was not only disappointing but deeply unsettling, particularly in how the owner, Yair, treats his clients, especially women. Please see the VIDEOS and IMAGES below of this encounter. (Please note I have since gotten it corrected. This happened a week ago) Upon meeting (The owner) Yair, he made a series of inappropriate and unsettling comments. Despite knowing I’d recently moved to Miami, he openly speculated about relationships falling apart here and implied that my boyfriend might cheat on me, as “Miami is filled with beautiful people.” He then proceeded to share details about his personal life, including frequenting strip clubs and his history of infidelity. These comments were entirely unprofessional and made me profoundly uncomfortable. As for the service itself, I visited the salon seeking only a haircut. However, I left with an unexpected bill for over $400 and ORANGE hair thanks to an unnecessary and unrequested “hair Botox” treatment. Yair suggested a conditioning treatment but failed to explain the potential risks or costs involved. I had made it clear that I had a professional conference just two days later, yet he proceeded without transparency. The sole “explanation” I received was a brief video of the treatment on someone with a completely different hair type, which left me ill-prepared for the consequences. (A before and after on a Latina or Indian woman) Now, my hair is severely damaged, tacky feeling actually and I’m faced with additional expenses to repair it. Please note I am not discrediting my hair cut, however, after speaking with professionals on this matter Yair failed to disclose the harsh reality of the treatment and the results that I could be facing. My scalp burned during the entire process and I am just now realizing that this was not something that I needed at all and it was extremely harsh for my hair. I have no problem paying for my hair cut and wash. (Which I did) When I attempted to address these issues, I received neither an apology nor any offer to make it right. Instead, Yair dismissed my concerns, even going so far as to tell me to “stop being dramatic” and to “stop ugly crying.” After seeing other negative reviews, it’s clear that my experience is not unique. His responses to these reviews suggest he may attempt to discredit mine as well, but I urge anyone considering this salon to read these accounts carefully. This was, without question, the most unprofessional and distressing salon experience I have ever endured. Please save yourself the trip. This guy is also in a lawsuit as of September 2024 from his landlord for not being able to pay his $2,300.00 rent. Something isnt adding up. Please please DO YOUR RESEARCH. Please note* I was unable to unload all of the videos due to the length, but I hope this can shed some light on the situation. I started recording the conversation after leaving, crying, reading reviews and then attempting to go back in and ask for a correction. It was then I had the idea to record my encounter after leaving in tears the first time.

Marti 504 This place is so cool! It has everything you need for a day of pampering. I was lucky enough to get Chloe, because this girl has some serious skills with color. Not only was the final result magnificent, but she started out by talking me through what color would look best with my skin tone, and her confidence and kindness was just amazing and left me relaxed knowing I was in good hands. She was 100% right on the color, because I have never been so in love with my hair. She was also extremely efficient, and checked in all the time to make sure I was comfortable. I could not have had a more wonderful experience. The rest of the people were also so kind and had a great vibe. I wish I had time after to stay and check out the cute coffee bar and boutique, but I will definitely be back. 10/10, best salon Ive been to.

Abby Got my hair “diffused” as a girl with curly hair. It’s hard to trust people because sadly not a lot of people know how to do wavy/ curly hair. I got to this salon all the time for blow outs. Everybody is so sweet and very good. I asked the receptionist for the best and if she’s not in let me know because I want the girl with the best ability with curly hair. Apparently it was Maria… here is the after of my diffusing apt. And when I was clearly upset. I said I wasn’t paying for the service because now I have to re-wash my hair and style it to standard to go out in public. She told me I had to pay for it bc I got a wash, but it was so bad I told her I had to re wash. The mgmt came. And Maria was horrible when she said I didn’t even have curly hair to make it seem like it wasn’t her wrong doing it was mine… here are the photos of my hair after Maria’s apt. And when I do my own diffusing. As you can tell, I have curly hair and the attitude of this woman was horrific and sadly I won’t be going there anymore because of this treatment.

Lily Scaglione I had the best experience at Rik Rak]! Marcel did an incredible job with my haircut, giving it the perfect shape and flow I was hoping for. Then Damien worked his magic on my highlights, and the color is absolutely stunning—natural yet vibrant! Both Marcel and Damien were professional, attentive, and so friendly, making the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing. I left feeling pampered and thrilled with my new look. Highly recommend this salon and their amazing team! Also love Raquel (the owner’s) fashion style with her boutique, such fun items!

violeta I will never trust this person if recommend this person to anyone. I recently moved to town from California and was in search of a good reputable salon. This salon was near the area I was in and they were able to take me in same day. I specifically asked the front desk and made sure to ask that the stylist I was assigned to has had been working at this salon for over a year and is experienced. From the get go I knew something was off. I asked for a shadow root, I had high life’s done a month ago, beautifully done, however I was tired of bleaching my hair and wanted to grow my highlights out. I knew the stylist, her name is Adrienne , did not know what she was doing. Long story short she ruined my hair. She was applying color to my roots and color was flying all over the place; her technique was extremely sloppy. She started getting the root shadow color on my ends and then kept apologizing saying oops. Ran me to the sink and started rinsing my hair. Then we agreed to a keratin treatment right after the root. As she was applying it she kept splattering some on my face, it was just going everywhere. My eyes were burning. Then after the treatment she realized she didn’t leave on the root shadow for as long. So she says, mind you this was after the keratin treatment, let’s dye your roots again because they started turning orange due to the chemical process. Well as she started doing the color again, AFTER THE TREATMENT (which I learned your not supposed to do and wait at least two weeks because the color will be uneven and isn’t quite frankly safe to do so) my hair after the second dye session started turning blue. She ran me back to the sink. At this point I was traumatized. Thank God for the other hair stylist who took over and managed to make my hair presentable. I left the salon very unhappy. In addition, my scalp is so itchy and irritated , most likely from the copious amounts of back and forth that she put my hair through on top of doing a keratin treatment in an unsafe manner. Super disappointed
