Victoria Panagiotakis I’ve been coming to Luxe Salon and Day Spa in Sarasota for 8 years now. The services are impeccable from hair to nail services. I have never left here unsatisfied. I have done highlights to 2 color processing and hair cuts for very short hair style that is to perfection. Not everyone can pull off a short hair style. Other services include brow coloring and waxing. The nail services include full service and a relaxing experience. I would never go anywhere else. Cindi Lind has been doing my hair for 35 years, highly recommended. This is a very friendly environment and everyone who works here is hospitable.

Jennifer Campbell I love Luxe Salon, they offer hair and nail services. I moved to Sarasota Nov 2023 and am grateful to have found a fantastic stylist: Nila Bliss. Nila’s experience is impressive, doing hair since 2007! She is a kind person, professional, very pleasant, knows what she’s doing and being a proud Sarasota native, she is an invaluable resource for recommendations for restaurants, beaches, events etc. And her pricing is very reasonable.

carmine Perrelli Im 62 and Im a former Canadian politician who has been vacationing in Sarasota since 1990. I am Italian and have never had a haircut by anyone other than a family member. I have 17 family members who are hair stylists. Until recently, I would only allow my cousin Frank Perrelli from Ginger Root hair Salon in St. Charles Illinois to cut my hair. Let me cut to the chase. A month ago, while in Sarasota, my hair got too long and Cousin Frank had to cancel his trip to Florida to cut my hair. Desperate and no family to turn to, I asked a dear friend if they knew of a hairstylist willing to take on a customer like me. Against my better judgement and out of sheer desperation, I got in my car and went to my appointment with Nila. She was about to meet a hair stylists worst nightmare. Not because I was rude, but because I expect perfection. Let me repeat, PERFECTION. As a hair transplant recipient, cutting my hair brings its own special challenges on top of going outside the Family. Nila was being compared to the Top Stylist in the Perrelli Family as the first person in 62 years who was not family, to cut my hair. Dont forget, I expect perfection. Well, I waited a month to post this comment because the true quality of a haircut can only be appreciated in the weeks following the cut. Nila, at the Risk of being excommunicated by generations of Perrelli stylists, your cut was near perfection and you are ranked as good as Cousin Frank. Every time I look in the mirror, Im grateful for your talent and for putting up with me. With your permission and if you will have me, I would be honored if you would cut my hair in future when Im in Sarasota. Just in case youre worried, I have Cousin Franks blessing.

Eliza Engle Its clean, friendly and I love the little coffee bar they have. I am a new mom and it was a wonderful short mommy time where I could relax. I see Cory and he is always wonderful and I leave feeling great. I highly recommend.

David Ross Had a hair emergency and with Cindy’s magic hair clippers I’m looking Gorgeous. She’s not only an excellent stylist, she has a great personality and most importantly she’s very easy to be with.

J E Justice Rivera is truly masterful! I brought her a messy mop of hair today and left with gorgeous, luscious locks. She took the time to understand my objectives and then lent her talent and expertise to apply the perfect highlights, conditioning and cut to my curly tresses. Ive been letting my natural gray grow out, so she did not have an easy task! I love the way Justice listens...truly listens. And asks questions. Then, I trust her do what she thinks would look best. The result today was so much better than I imagined it could be--Im ecstatic! Since have started going to Justice, I get so many compliments on my hair everywhere I go. Her approach to my curly hair is totally different from any other stylist Ive ever had. Other stylists would make my hair look good in the salon and perhaps for a day or two after. The techniques Justice utilizes provide lasting care and high style. The products shes set me up with really help at home, too. Plus, Justice is super NICE and I love going to see her.

Pamela Konis Justice is very knowledgeable and gave me the best curly hair cut and style I’ve ever had. I came in with a concern about frizz. I left with my hair beautifully hydrated with lush curls. She reshaped my hair, leaving the length which looks so much better. She works magic. I highly recommend!!

Heidi Ann Webber The salon is gorgeous and spacious… tons of parking…. Justice is gem!!! Sarasota is so lucky to have a stylist of such a high standard of experience, training and professionalism.. Justice listens and takes her time with you and every curl on your head! My curls curls are springy and healthy, my cut is fabulous… I highly recommend Justice!!! Best curly cut I’ve ever had!

Hanny M Nellie did great cutting my hair. I am happy with the result! The saloon looks clean and comfy. Reasonable price as well. A bit higher from what states in their website but still reasonable. There are few other stylist, they are pretty busy and recommend to book in advance.

Miranda Richard I booked an appointment for 5 PM today. I showed up 10 minutes early, very excited to get my hair cut by Kelly. I saw him washing someones hair and asked what was happening. He said he would be cutting her hair first. I was very confused. I booked an appointment for 5 PM. Who is this woman? I ended up leaving at 5:05 PM. He hadnt even started cutting the womans hair. I didnt want to wait an hour for a haircut I booked days ago. This is incredibly unprofessional and has never happened to me before in all of my life. I am so disgusted. I took time out of my day to come here for an appointment I had on the books. What business does this? Do not come here if you want a professional service. 1 star.

Rosa S I love this hair studio!!! I paid a very expensive salon in town for a simple haircut and it was ruined. I came to Stephanie king last minute and was attended by Kelly. He did an amazing job. My hair looked amazing afterwards and he gave me so many tips on how to take care of my hair. I’m in love! This is my new hair salon. Highly recommend to everyone. Oh, and they’re not RIDICULOUSLY expensive for no reason.

Abigale Pound It’s a no from me. I got a haircut a month ago (2/11) by Chris and I was unsatisfied by the service and cut given. Since then I have called 5x times and left messages each time. I spoke with one stylist about the incident and left my name and number. I’ve also submitted two contact me forms of their website and I tried to email them with the email on the website( which is not a valid email) as well, with no response back. The lack of communication is loud. As far as my cut goes, I asked for 1-2 inches off and to keep everything possible. I *had* very long hair but 5 inches were taken off the bottom. I did as for some long layers, and instead the majority of my hair is layers. I was and am still shocked with my hair. It was not what I asked for. In addition, when I booked I also added notes about the cut that I desired as well, so it shouldnt have been a surprise about what I wanted. Along with my cut I paid for a deep conditioning treatment that never happened. He washed my hair for 3-4 minutes, for a service that should’ve lasted 10-15. The product they use is supposed to sit for 10-15 minutes alone which another stylist a the salon quoted to me. But not to worry, he still charged me for it. When I got out to my car ( with very wet hair still ) I realized how much he actually cut off! I was devastated and hadn’t noticed because of how fast he ushered me to pay. In total my appointment was 19 minutes. I want a refund and I wouldn’t recommend this salon to anyone.

Becky Cecil Stephanie and her husband Chris have created a magnificent space for her newly opened hair studio! She has been my stylist for 2-1/2 years and I have always been extremely pleased. I highly recommend giving this business a try, you will not be disappointed!

Marlene Kupkowski Wonderful salon. Valerie is a true professional. I have coming to see Val for 2 years and she has never disappointed. Every time I leave I love my hair, from the camouflage to my cut. She explains everything I need to do to keep my hair in the healthiest condition. I have gone a couple months without a cut and my hair will look great!! I highly recommend this salon.

patricia pratt Theres Grey blending then there is Dandelions in Sarasota. The color was perfect and no more brassiness and hiding roots when hair grows out. It blends fabulously! No more bad hair days. Be sure to buy the oil for the hair. It transforms the hair for shine, manageability, and added moisture. I have never used a hair product with the properties this oil has; from dry, brittle, damaged hair to instantly healthy in one sitting. Want more from you Salon? You want your hair to again feel like virgin hair. Call Dandelions. Thank you Val. No more hair worries...check Second visit wanted a color with very little maintenance and she BLEACHED my whole head even though 20% isnt even Grey. The end results was damaged white hair, and aware I was wanting a salon to do a Japanese Hair Straightener in about a month or two. Disappointed after I returned home and tried to call her for remedies to no avail. She doesnt stand behind her claims and wont be back

Nonna V. Found Val after the extensive search for the colorist who can do gray hair blending and I cannot be happier. My hair never looked more beautiful, which is a combination of Vals coloring technique and the haircut. She is not only my new go to hair magician but is also my new friend.

Karin Gagliano Back to Val for a different look adding more depth and texture. Not sure if its my age, but my hair has gotten very thin. I did get a cut in New York by a stylist that debulked it and did her version of an "inverted bob." Well, it came out horrible, I almost wanted to cry. I have been taking biotin vitamins to try to get some of the thickness back and length. I saw Val a week ago to cover my grays, add a little darker of a color (for Winter up in NY, its just a nice warm tone), and as she was doing my color, she noticed the cut in the back and how haphazard it was. There were so many inconsistencies, gaping hols, the stylist used a razor (which my hair does not take to very well). Val was honest and took very good care of me. She fixed the cut without sacrificing length. The color also came out great. It is pricey, but the product speaks for the cost. I have never had better products for my hair and my hair hasnt looked this healthy ever. I wont buy retail products or any products on the shelf at a salon ever. Val formulates the product according to each persons hair, its texture, color, and the botanicals smell amazing and make my hair glow. I left again feeling beautiful. I never thought that I would look and feel younger at 46! I am from New York and I came across Dandelion through a search while at my 2nd home in February as I was in dire need to cover my stubborn grays. I heard about the camoflauge technique that Val invented and came in for a consultation. She explained how she tailors color according to the individuals skin tone, eye brow color, current hair color, and highlights. So, I said YES! Lets do it! I cannot explain here how great my hair looked and how I felt. I have receive compliments galore from so many. The color highlights YOU and doesnt drown you out from the croud. It is worth the time and money. Val doesnt just do your hair, she trains you on the proper washing techniques (tepid water), how to condition your hair, when to wash it, how to dry it, and suggests tools and techniquest that will help keep your hair at its peak for longer so that you can expand the time between appointments. I love this place and love Val!

Kelly B Just had the very best experience. I came into the salon, was very damaged and over treated hair. Not to mention the horrible color. It turned into over the years. Val helped me get back to my desired colors and kept my hair in healthy condition. That’s a lot to be said because my hair was breaking everywhere. She has a very peaceful salon that actually let me relax and enjoy. I left feeling exactly the way I wanted to look and feel. Erin Hawley Janel took a non-makeup wearing athlete and turned her into the bell of the ball! My daughter loved every minute of her time with Janel who only wanted to make sure she was completely comfortable and happy with the outcome! To say she was thrilled with the finished product would be an understatement! Ashley Forte I received a manicure here. Not only did I wait for an hour beyond my appointment time for it to start, but it was one of the worst manicures I’ve ever received. Despite prompting on what I was looking for, the nail tech filed my nails all the way down which was the exact opposite of what I asked for, and shaped them incorrectly (and unevenly). When the woman who rang me up at the front asked how my nails were and I gently gave feedback, she did not show good customer service at all and didn’t even apologize. Especially given the price, I felt very frustrated by the lack of service and professionalism.

Tom Tom Sunny and her team have fantastic personalities. I’m incredibly grateful to Sunny for fitting me in day-of, last minute booking and straight from the airport. It’s been two weeks since my appointment and my nails are still looking great. Natural transition from my nail bed, thin layers and zero lift.

Robin Lehman Sunny at Sarasota Salon and Spa is one of the best nail techs Ive been to. I have a hard gel manicure, and she does a great job. She really makes sure everything is perfect and the way you want it before you leave.

Tiffany Thompson I had a good experience at Sarasota Salon and Spa. I made an appointment for 9 for manicure and haircut. The one technician at the salon took care of both appointments. I love my nails and my hair. I would recommend this salon for nails or hair. I can’t speak to the other services they offer.
