Sondra Bradley I have been coming to this Salon before it was DECO. Lindsay the now owner is my stylist and I have to say she is 100% the best colorist I have ever had. Shes professional, very genuine and has a true heart for helping others. I get so many compliments on my hair from the color, dimension of color or cut. I cant imagine going anywhere else! If you are considering this salon I highly recommend giving it a try. Anyone who says they had a negative experience is truly surprising because mine is the complete opposite! If o could give 10 stars I would!

Danielle Neitz Ive been going to Lindsay at Deco for years. Not only is she one of the most talented stylist to ever touch my hair, she actually cares and takes pride in her work. She makes sure that my hair not only looks good when I leave, but that it stays healthy. She also has a heart of gold...and you cant put a price on that. When Im getting my hair done I often browse through her curated selection of vintage finds to snatch up some authentic pieces to add to my fabulous new hair. I highly recommend Deco for not just hair, but for an interesting warm-hearted environment that gives you all the feels good when you leave.

Katie Panagiotopoulos You want quality, this is your place! I travel more than two hours just to have my hair done here! This is not your typical salon with one great person that you can never get in to see and then the rest that could fry your hair (yes, this has happened to me) THIS is your hair sanctuary! Also, I am super happy to report that the prices are not any different than any other high end location. You pay for what you get!

Kierra Casimir If you are African American with natural hair this is NOT the place for you. I came here for a deep condition, trim and blowout. Rosa was the stylist that did my hair. She was a nice lady but had no idea what she was doing. She was very rough while washing my hair and did not know how to detangle it. Since it was not properly detangled it was difficult to blow it out. Multiple times she burned me on accident while doing my hair. I told the receptionist about my experience and informed her I would never come back. Before the appointment I asked if they know how to do natural hair and was told yes they can. It is a disservice to say you can do natural hair when it is far from the truth. I advised the receptionist to not allow Rosa to do anyone else with natural hair because it is evident she cannot properly do it and does harm to the customer. My experience and others with natural hair who left a review about Rosa, shows she should not be doing African American natural hair. Allow it to be a warning before booking. When I got home I noticed my hair was not trimmed properly and my hair suffered severe heat damage. I now have to cut my hair. I cried so much. Please do not go here. If you decide to book an appointment and you are African American with natural hair, do not allow Rosa to do your hair. She is a sweet woman but she doesn’t know how to do our hair. I normally don’t leave reviews but I had to so no one else makes the same mistake as I did.

Aigerim Nurysheva Horrible, horrible experience, I simply asked to cut my hair straight. Her name is Rosa or something like this. She cut them horribly and not even. When she washed my hair she was scratching my scalp so bad with her nails. No gloves. Reception is very poor. I called and asked to make an appointment with one lady, but when I walked in they gave me who ever was available. It’s the worst experience in my life. And cherry on top, she added all those creams and sprays a lot, like after I left my hair looked dirty and oily. I with I could give even less then 1 star!!!!!

Sophie Romero not the best. I’m only speaking from my perspective someone who has course hair I would not return to save my course haired ladies the trip. My hair felt greasy not bouncy when I left and my roots were still course. They got the job done but this doesn’t look or feel like a Dominican blow out. Honestly feels like i got my hair done at a Walmart or by one of my aunties. i urgently needed my hair done for a dinner and they got me in but I left disappointed. Maybe they are better for someone who doesn’t have textured hair.

Imperial account I travel to Marilyn’s hair salon from the north to the south because no one can do my hair the best. The staff here are friendly and the price is right. Very affordable prices with good service.

Marina Margarites This is the third salon I’ve tried in St Pete and by far the best experience I’ve had in the 2+ years I’ve lived here. The space itself was clean and inviting. The staff were very friendly and it just felt like an elevated salon. My stylist, Jayla, was really knowledgeable not just about hair care but also about the products she used and gave me knowledge about why they could benefit my hair type. She was very thorough and gave a great shampoo, cut and style. I will definitely be coming back and this is for sure my new staple salon!! Definitely recommend and loved the ease to be able to book online.

Kasey Sitton I’ve been to this salon for the 3rd time today and I guess 3rd times a charm. I had the pleasure of Jayla working on my hair. Not only did she listen to everything I wanted to do with my hair. She educated me, made me feel confident in what I was already doing but guided me towards better techniques when she heard the flaws in my current routine. I usually shy away from getting my hair done cause I’m never happy but she made a total difference for me today. ❤️ Thanks girl.

Gabrielle Fisher I won a gift card to this salon at a wellness event and planned on using it for a haircut/blow out for a wedding. I didn’t find a time that worked the day of the wedding so I decided to go the day before and do a color and cut. I walked in and felt welcomed and comfortable, I wasn’t sure what to expect since I’d never been there. Jayla was my hair stylist and she was really knowledgeable and helpful with all the questions I had. I loved how she went into detail with the coloring and cut and it felt like she really took her time. I have never loved my hair this much and may even end up switching salons(one that I’ve been going to for 4+ years). Thoroughly impressed with the price point and the quality! Thank you Jayla!

Ariana Shaver The decor is chic. Love all the hair products and other items they have to choose from. Candle, jewelry,ect. I met the owner such a sweet welcoming person. My son got a fade and edged very sharp and clean by Johnny, a barber currently in the shop. I would highly recommend the salon to anyone looking for a welcoming professional place for all your hair care needs. Definitely check them out!!!

Kaitlyn Gotwald As someone who’s actually had their hair done here and by the salon owner, Jennifer, for the past 10+ years i can honestly attest that this is the best salon in St. Pete. The salon atmosphere is welcoming and beautiful. I highly recommend coming here for extensions because you will be in love and HOOKED for life! I ALWAYS get asked who does my blonde highlights and here is your answer. You will never leave here disappointed!!!

Alexandra Dorn I have been going to Jen for 5 years and she never disappoints. The salon is clean and beautiful and it’s a great atmosphere! The staff is so friendly and always on time. They also have a cute boutique with such cute clothing and jewelry! I highly recommend salon luxe!

Rachel Whitlatch I’ve been going to Haleigh for a few months now. The first hair I bought from her (in april) was $700 alone and did not last and was apparently a “bad batch” so two weeks ago I bought new hair because the hair I had purchased was so tangled and bad I couldn’t ever wear it down without it knotting up. The new hair alone was $800. I had an appointment that Haleigh cancelled twice (one time was not her fault, an accident had shut down the power of the salon) to install the new hair and have my color done. The second time she cancelled was thirty minutes before the appointment and i was already on my way to St Pete. I got my new hair installed Tuesday. A few days later I noticed pieces poking out (you can see in photo) and texted her about it. She advised me to cut it which I was not comfortable doing considering I had just spent $800 on this weave. I wanted to come in asap for it to be fixed. She got super annoyed and said “she sees nothing” and that it is my OCD… She agreed to let me come in on Saturday (yesterday) at 8:45 am to fix it. At 7:00 am Saturday she texted me cancelling because her other client cancelled so she “wasn’t going to come in for that”. I was obviously upset and she told me I could come in Monday but I would be charged like everyone else (see text). After paying for my hair to be installed only 4 days before, you would think this would be fixed for free after paying a decent amount of money for it to be sewn in properly. Haleigh does great color and usually great extensions but because of the lack of quality, wasted money, and hurtful things said to me, I will no longer be returning and am taking my business to an extensions salon in Tampa for a better experience and treatment. Update: months later I’m being harassed by the same employee over instagram from her professional account making fun of my breasts…. I’m in shock at how haleigh is still able to do hair and the lack of professionalism at this salon. I’ve had 6 girls dm me saying they had the same experience and how rude she was to them. This isn’t okay

Ana Cristina Perez Everyone at Salon Luxe is AMAZING!!! Ive been going to Jami for years and she is literally the best of the best. The Salon Luxe space itself is super cute, amazing vibes, VERY clean, top-notch sanitation; everyone is so so friendly and talented. The owner, Jennifer, is such a gem. I live in Tampa and come all the way here to get my hair done by Jami because shes worth it - I wouldnt trust ANYBODY else with my hair. Shes incredible!!!! Im a natural super dark-haired brunette and Jami has made my blonde dreams come true :) Thank you !!!!! Cant say enough great things!

Denise Parker I had a very nice experience at Leaf Aveda Salon as a first-timer. The salon is lovely inside, and the staff members are very friendly and professional. Ive been seeing my regular stylist at another Aveda salon for almost 15 years, but missed my September appointment due to Hurricane Helene. Because he books out three months in advance, I needed some maintenance done on my hair to hold me over to my next appointment four weeks later. I was made to feel extremely welcome, and my stylist Devon did an excellent job taming the mane. She mastered my style with no problem, which really no one other than my regular guy has ever been able to do and leave me walking out happy. She was extremely personable and put me at ease immediately. She will definitely be my back-up go to from now on. If I didnt have such a history with my regular stylist, Id move my business to her permanently. Recommended, but be aware that its pricey.

C Nye My stylist was Laura she was fantastic. The $55 hair trim turned into triple that when I got home and took a look at my receipt. I bought shampoo$21/conditioner $23 and a 1 FLOZ bottle of hair oil for $52! For this little bottle to be $52 is ridiculous! Transparency seems to be a problem here after reading other reviews! When I called to have an overview of my receipt ( because they dont itemize its just a total amount) the girl was very inconsiderate in not understanding why I was mind blown by this! I feel like i was very distracted at checkout by them making my next appt at the same time, as well as 3 people talking at the front and trying to pay. If i had noticed i would NOT have paid that much for this little bottle that i hope works wonders for that price! She just said all our prices are next to our products, when in fact they arent. Theres a line of products with a paper at the front of the line that has prices listed. Theres no reason to charge that much for a hair oil and I would have appreciated her at least offering a refund but she just said ok, after I was clearly frustrated. Aveda will no longer get my business.

Andrea Donovan Omg! I traveled from Fort Stewart, GA to come see Anna and get my hair color corrected and fixed! I came expecting mediocre results, after three previous attempts to fix my hair. I had lost hope lol Anna restored my faith in an AMAZING stylist! She spent so much time going through to get exactly what it needed to look flawless! I am so happy with the results, and have my confidence restored again! Thank you Anna and Aveda staff! The salon is so clean and well kept. Every staff member I saw was so attentive to their client and all in the shop were looking so amazing with their results too! I would highly recommend this salon and the staff here!

Hailie Blanco I had the best experience! My hairstylist was Hope and she did an amazing job. I asked for a glaze and a long layer haircut with face framing pieces and she exceeded my expectations. I’m so glad I took a chance going to this hair salon because I love my new hair. Staff is very kind and the hair salon was clean. I would 100% go back and recommend Hope.

Pam Borden I had my first ever highlights in August, with a cut to shape my waist-length hair. I loved it. Just gorgeous! Even though I called to get an estimate prior, they couldnt really say how much to expect. I did get sticker shock- $500 including purchase of the products used on my hair. This time I drove from NC to this salon for the touch up on Jan 9 to see the same stylist. We had planned to continue the progression to help embrace the gray, but it was already too white around my face and I couldnt wear my hair up without looking too old, so I didnt want more whitening highlights around my face, just highlights to blend my roots to the rest of my hair. My stylist discussed it with me and suggested to use low lights to tone it down and blend the roots because it wasnt possible to do it the way I thought with the highlights. I had a few foils around my face and my roots in front. Then wash, products and dry. (I dont dry my hair , I scrunch, so it came out straighter than I wanted). I miss some of the top highlights I really liked the pop, but its ok. Ill know better next time. And my only other concern was that my stylist had long pointed nails that scratched my ear twice, like razors! I didnt say anything to her at the time, but it burned for a few hours after the appointment. I didnt buy any new products and the few low lights with wash, products and dry was $300. Eh.....

Julie C BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE. ARBITRARY PRICING. Front desk man is very rude. Used to charge me $25 for long hair haircut but charged me $40 since I spoke out to mans rudeness. I know price is $25 since another girl with long hair haircut got charged $25 at same time I was there. Shame Chau (hair stylist) works here. Think she would get more business at another establishment. Read other reviews on Yelp, similar arbitrary pricing and rude man experience.

Theresa Cormier I changed my review from a 5 ⭐ to a 2⭐ the last 2 hair cuts have been messed up! Been coming here for over 4 years! I used to leave so happy now I feel like the haircut is rushed & Im not happy! The haircut I got yesterday is so jacked up! My right side is almost a inch shorter than the left! Im crying right now!
