Brittany Johnson The new Scalp Detox treatment with Madi was heavenly and incredibly relaxing! My dry scalp was bothering me and it feels ten times better today. Kayla is the best hairstylist with extensions and color. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, I have been a client for many years.

Sierra Anderson I’ve spent all of my twenties trying to to find a stylist— until I sat in Madi’s chair. She’s indulged every trend I wanted, given honest consults to make sure I leave confident, and makes sure I’m comfortable. 10/10 all the praise !

Susan Smith Horrific experience with Madi. Look like I just left Supercuts. Stylist did not listen, was too lazy to even do more than a poor color job and trim for $195. Buyer beware.

Jessica Mize If your in the need for some pampering please go see Makenna at Cabello’s. She is amazing!! She went above and beyond to make my daughter drop dead gorgeous for her boyfriends prom. The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. My girl left with a huge smile on her face, I left with a happy tear. We will definitely be back!! Thank you ladies❤️❤️❤️

Whitley Mrs Anna King is an amazing stylist and business owner. If you need wedding hair, event hair or just a refresh on your look, I highly recommend this salon. Everything from spray tans and eyelash extensions to professional hair product.

Kayla Dorsett My hair has seriously never looked better. Maddy is a miracle worker. I mistakenly chose to experiment with one of the hair schools here and they destroyed my hair so I had to beg Maddy to work her magic with some corrective color. She made it look absolutely amazing and gave me the blonde I wanted, while still making it look super natural and blended so that I can wait longer between salon visits. She also does spray tans which was something I was so excited about because I used to drive so far away for mine, but now I can go get all bronzed up by her instead without looking like a bright orange, streaky, carrot lol. Completely recommend Maddy Atkins she is the best stylist I have ever gone to!!!

Florence Schreiner Two times I went there I asked explicitly for curtain bangs and/or layers and both times they told me that it’s too much of commitment and it wouldn’t look good on me. One of the times they told me that after they cut my hair differently and did the opposite of what I asked for! I now have curtain bangs and layers from somewhere else and they look great. I just really think it’s not okay to not respect what a client wants for their own hair!

Wuilmer JC Pretty good customer service, and the hair stylist Maddy was kind. Though its really pricey, but overall a good visit!

Ariel Stewart Overall the salon has a nice atmosphere. I’m still in disbelief that I been going to Tasha since July 2022. She always did my hair perfect up until maybe around Nov 2022 I stopping going to grow my hair back natural, wore braids and wigs over spring and summer. But the last time she relaxed my hair, it was halfway done and I couldn’t get my hair to lay down.I finally reached back out August 2023 for a natural haircut, give her another chance, trying to see the best in people. Showed her two pics and even showed her in person how I wanted my hair done when pointing to someone else in the salon. This lady basically cut all my hair off and sent me home baldheaded. I start school Monday and I’m also planning my gender reveal. Struggling to style my hair because not only is it cut way too short its not cut evenly. I reached out to her about the situation and received no response back. I really thought she was a stylist who really cares for people hair style and health. Will not be going back but discernment is Gods gift and back in Nov I told myself I wasn’t going back. I went back a year later and she sent me home to my man to look like a boy. Very shocked, hurt and disappointed . I’m sure many have good experiences but my last two with Tasha were not.

Sheryl Howell My brief experience with Halo Salon & Experience was fantastic. I needed a last-minute short haircut and color and discovered this place on Instagram. Though I couldnt reach them by phone or message, their voicemail gave me confidence in their customer service values. I decided to visit in person. The ambiance was wonderful. Tasha immediately paused her work with a client to assist me. She apologized for not being able to take a walk-in but recommended another stylist and provided a contact number. Her attentiveness and effort were impressive! More businesses should adopt this level of customer service!

Angela Hopkins The first time i had Crochet hair installed, it was beautiful and no problem. I went for my 2nd installment almost 3 months later (last week) I was so excited, but as Annie Fisher was doing my hair my head began to hurt. I assumed, it would loosen up but No! A week later, I’m sitting in someone else chair to get this out my head! It hurts bad, I’m not sure if gorilla glue or sprint was used but I do know it hurt ! I don’t mind paying for good service and giving a tip. Just do my head as you would want someone else to do yours! It was pretty! But nothing is worth this head pain. #DangDangDang!

Justin & Bridget Ryan This lady had advertising on her for this business so she’s representing herself and the business. She demonstrated how poorly she cares for others. I was in our family van when she completely cut me off near Tallahassee Airport. Driving way too fast while passing me on the left pushing me to go into the right shoulder when the lanes were merging on to have to slow down to turn left stuck in traffic. I passed her so I clearly was not an obstacle for her. This alone would steer me way clear of recommending this business. I’m sure I won’t get an apology. I’ll erase this comment if I do.

Mrs. Chrade Jennings Ms. Brittany braided my daughters natural hair and she did a wonderful job. This was my daughters first time getting her hair braided and she was comfortable throughout the entire service. Never cried or complained about her hair being gripped too tight…etc! I’ve already booked the next appointment!

C.V. Reshard Annie and the team is awesome. The place is clean and very friendly. Everyone is always smiling and laughing. Its like a big family. While there you are made to feel like part of the family. Its nice to have everything at your fingertips; hair, professional and non professional hair products and supplies right there for sale, no need to go any place else or stop before you get there. Richard Cassedy I have been using Sherry at Fuel since 2017 and she is excellent. She is very personable and I completely trust her opinion on styling which always makes me look forward to my experience to see my "image consultant". I recently saw her before my wedding and she went above and beyond to get my haircut perfect which is indicative of the way she treats her client.

Morgan Rae Martin Mara is one of the best stylists in Tallahassee if not the best. She is skilled and knowledgeable and goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable while you’re there and comfortable with your service and hair style. She always listens to what you want and delivers better than what I ever expected. I would recommend anyone looking for an awesome hair style to her! All of the stylists at Fuel are extremely nice and willing to make your experience there wonderful! AWESOME SALON!

Alexandra I have been here once for a style/cut with Kadi (shes awesome) and now shes waxing my best friends eyebrows. I love all of the colors in the salon and the products smell beautiful! It has such a light and chill feel. Definitely coming back to have my hair styled soon!

The staff are friendly and professional, reminding me of the real salons I remember from my childhood. Xiomara takes care of my son and has a knack for balancing what he likes with what I would be comfortable with as a mom. Their product selection is top notch as well.

Sizzling with the Sissles I recently visited Ambiance for a silk press, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The stylist took the time to assess my hair and explain the process, which immediately put me at ease. The silk press itself was flawless—my hair is so smooth, shiny, and full of life! It feels incredibly soft to the touch. I love how healthy my hair looks without any heat damage. The stylist really knew what she was doing, and the attention to detail was impeccable. Not only was the service top-notch, but the entire experience was so relaxing. The salon was clean, comfortable, and the staff were all so friendly. I left feeling confident and beautiful, and I will definitely be returning for future services. Jugeldi I was recommended to this salon after carefully deciding who to go by. However, it was a HORRIBLE experience. I really wish I read her reviews before going to her. She was demeaning the whole time while I was getting my hair relaxed. Her attitude was very unprofessional. She was obviously not fond with me getting a relaxer. Also coming from the hairstylist and owner herself, it was so demeaning to be asked where I was from I guess because of my Caribbean accent then she replied to “So.., you’re black”. Like obviously I am! But what are you really trying to say? She also laughed at my face when she asked me if I liked my hair relaxed. When she asked me who recommended me she quickly changed her attitude and started commenting how “ beautiful” my hair is. What a fake! I am never going there again. That being said, if you’re going to get a perm prepare for the judgment and demeaning treatment from Dorinda.
