Sabrina Sawhney In my opinion, this specific Ulta location is the best out of all the locations I have been too. I say this because all of the staff at this location are absolutely wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. If they dont have whatever I am looking for, I will ask to order it for me online or I will order it through the app, instead of going to a different location. The team at this location works so cohesively together. The staff here is so helpful and kind. I am a regular at this location.

So far, staff has improved at not following people around so much. Its a nice change, I feel like shoppers have their dignity again. But here is my next problem. I went to exchange a hair straightener today and picked up a different one, a baByliss one. When I got home and opened it up, I could tell it was a previously owned and returned product, super obvious, especially considering the box has no seals on it. No signage at the store showed that this was a used item, but I have a hunch that it is. This straightener costs about 160.00. I feel like its extremely unprofessional for them to put it back on the shelf and sell it for full price. They hadnt even made it look like it was new. Cord was bundled up like someone kind of just shoved it back in there, with the twist ties hanging loosely at the bottom of the box and what looks like water damage on the user manual. On top of this, I came in for an order pick up last month. They claimed I had no order, despite me showing my bank account and the order on the app. They gave me a customer service number and had me call. The lady on the phone saw my order and refunded me. I had to go in and repurchase everything from my order. All of this has been the last straw for me at this Ulta, which sucks because its the only one nearby. I will no longer be taking my service here, and I will be contacting customer service to see if they can send me an actual NEW straightener in exchange for this used one you guys sold me. One too many disappointing experiences with this store.
Store staff is really kind and warm. I appreciate that. But I had an unfortunate visit at the salon. I could have brought it up at check out, but Im not confrontational so I didnt. And thats on me. But first and foremost, my stylist cut off so much of my hair. I had an idea, I showed her a video which gave a 360 view of the style I wanted. She kind of steered me away from it at first, saying it would be too short. The style was supposed to look like Ramona flowerss hair (Scott pilgrim) so like.. short hair in the back, long pieces in the front and a fringe bang. She told me I would have a hard time if I got a fringe bang. I get that. she instead went with her own idea, and now I look like Velma from Scooby Doo minus the bangs. My hair looks comical. It sucks because I was already sad today and I wanted to feel better. Now I feel worse. All my hair is cut short and the only thing I can do to make it look better is put half it in a pony tail. She was somewhat nice so I guess thats ok. She also insisted I leave my purse with my valuables near the exit of the salon station where someone could easily steal it. Insisted. And when she brought me to the sink to wash, I had to strain my neck and my back the whole time. It was extremely painful, I needed a higher chair. So now I have physical and mental pain. I didnt want to make a big deal out of it, but this was so disappointing. I never want anyone to touch my hair again.
Also, like other reviews mentioned, they treat you like a suspect. I guess because I look poor, Im automatically suspicious to them.
