Paul Sheffer Hands down, the best nail salon EVER! Theresa is my absolute favorite—her creativity and talent are unmatched, and she’s such a joy to be around. All I have to do is show her a picture, and she works her magic every single time. I highly recommend Best Nails! Sasa Reed Cindy did my pedicure and oh myyyyyyyyyyyyyy she did my pedicure so good, i couldve squeezed her tight lol! Will be returning!! she also very friendly and makes sure you are satisfied with your nails before leaving! French tip is bomb!!

Anonymous Ven did such a good job on my nails! The only thing I wish they would do give you a hand massage and apply lotion! Other than this, I will definitely be back.

Marcella Di Santo Teresa is my go to for nails when Im in Sarasota. Shes been doing my nails for a while and always does a great job, fixed any issues right away if they came up (rarely) and was easy to book. Well-priced and good service (her foot massages are divine), Ive never had a bad experience with her and suggest you ask for her specifically for guaranteed results.

Julia Weber This is one of the best nail experiences ever. My nail tech went above and beyond. Unfortunaly I live out of town but they definitly have my business when im in town. There prices are the best. Also just watching the way they interact with custumers and each other made it such a chill experience. Thank you !!!!

P P I have been going to this salon for years but they do not renew their products, the polishes are old and dry. Unfortunately I do not recommend this place… I have had my manicure for 3 days and I must repaint my nails… the manicure cost a lot, poor quality and cheap service!

Spangle Taylor This was fine, I expected to pay a lot less for a gel mani and pedi polish change for the two of us I paid $116 not including a $20 tip that was a surprise to me although my kiddo got some nail art it was not a full mani-pedi so I wasnt expecting to pay that much. They did a good job they were fast. It definitely doesnt seem that clean. We usually go to Sarasota Happy nails but last time we were there for a mani and pedi for a 10-year-old and myself they charged us $250 which I thought was crazy and Ive been going there for many years so I was insulted when they didnt give us a signature for a service they charged my child full price for so we tried this place. It makes me want to spend the extra money to go to a really clean place that has better service as far as perfection. But being right next door to us I thought we should try this on a recommendation from my friend. It just seemed not very cleanly and very speedy service which was appreciated but at the same time did not justify the price in my opinion. They did a good job and they were nice but I just wasnt expecting the price tag.

Giusel Barraza First of all I do never post negative reviews about any business but this time I feel this is necessary! Only came for gel color application for my daughter, she had long nails when arrived and asked for a dark purple from the color palette, I waited by the waiting area for her and When I saw this I was completely speechless, it looks like my daughter (only 14) was afraid to say anything but not only the color was completely different and her nails where extremely short, on top of that they charged me $22 for just the hair color which you can see in the pictures is not even applied evenly… needless to say I won’t be returning there’s plenty of good salons in the area.

Anna Stas Writing this review on behalf of my younger sister who came here couple days ago. She was so excited of how her nails were done, tipped well, and left. Two days later, all of the nails came right off :( She doesn’t do heavy labor with her hands and she said that just by touching them lightly, they came right off. She called this morning to have the salon check them and redo, and they said that this “never happens” and she would need to pay full price again. Personally, with my nail tech, even if one nail comes off, she takes me right in to get it fixed because there must of been an issue with either the product or the way of application that didn’t stick properly. My sister is incredibly upset and she’s too kind to speak up for herself. I disagree with this salon’s policy.

Mackenzie Hirstein Had an appointment and to get a set with the smallest design then told me before the design she didn’t have time for me. So someone else did the design after refusing to for a couple mins and you can’t tell what they are supposed to be!

Lauren LaBak I came here for a pedicure and ended up getting the super spa pedi with gel polish. I’m a pedicure regular and it’s pretty rare that I fall asleep in the chair. I was comatose. And I got the best calf massage ever, and since it’s winter I was in need of some heel exfoliation. They did an excellent job on that too. Price is outstanding and I will definitely be coming back.

T R Prob the best pedi I’ve had in years! I was a walk in, unexpected day off from a very rough morning and needed to relax. I got the “Oxygen package” it was amazing, highly recommend!! Lots of massage, sugar scrub, stone massage, hot towels and more than I expected. Everyone is nice, communicative and helpful. It was a slow time when I went in so the peace n quite was exactly what I needed. I had such a great experience I want to surprise my boyfriend so he can experience it too lolz My toe nails also look amazing! 100% returning!

Dud I recently had a pedicure and manicure at the place and it was an amazing experience! The staff were amazing, my nails look fantastic and the polish has lasted longer. Highly would come back here again

Ash Mill Had a great relaxing pedicure. Prices were reasonable . I didn’t have appointment but was immediately taken to a nice comfortable chair with a massage. I changed my mind mid way through and she was very patient with my indecision. Will definitely be returning.

Christine Pope Sarasota I’ve been coming here for about 4 years and the service has always been great. They have very comfy chairs and a good selection of colors, soft music and cold water bottles (yay for that on a hot day!). I always call ahead about 20 minutes and they almost always get me in. The prices are very reasonable for Sarasota.

Truly Blessed UPDATE: I was refunded 40.00 of the 80.00. Horrible and unsanitary. They worked on me with no running water! 80.00 for a regular polish and SNS fill in. RUN! Don’t walk to another place. Pray I don’t develop a fungus!

Kenzi Klein The ladies here were really nice and I got in right away, however I would not recommend getting a dip manicure here. I’ve been getting them done for years and this one needed more coats, a better top coat, and smoothing out. I couldn’t see the problems with it in the salon but noticed once I got to my car.

Annie Mack I got a wonderful pedicure here on a Saturday afternoon. Didnt have to wait long for a walk-in, but they do take appointments also. The atmosphere is relaxing and the ladies who work here are very nice. Would definitely return for the Classic Pedicure!

Patricia Romig I had the best experience at Luxurious Nails & Spa this afternoon! The staff was not only friendly but also highly skilled. KEN took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted. His attention to detail was amazing. Every nail was perfectly shaped and painted flawlessly. I got chrome, and Ken tested 3 different chrome powders until I found the perfect finish! The overall service was top-notch, and I left feeling pampered, relaxed and completely satisfied. Highly recommend Ken and Luxurious Nails and Salon for anyone looking for exceptional nail care!

Kristin Rose Newswanger I was referred here but wasnt sure I had the correct place or gas several names lol. On the outside its one name online its another So I didnt ask for the tech because I didnt know if I had the right place. Might be good to get the name and location right. My tech didnt speak English. He moreso grunted and pointed. It was ok. I was happy to not have to talk and just relax. He did a good job. Myeg and pedicure pack.. I was a little annoyed he forced me into the higher package by giving thumbs up despite me pointing to lower package he decided on his own to do next package .the hot stone one. I still liked it well and happy I did it .but it wasnt what I. Picked. Others probably would have questioned it at payment time. My service also was not what was listed on their package it was significantly higher. I did gel polish and did manicure.. supposed to be 78 plus 15$ think. Anyway I was just happy after a year in the hospital to get self care and still tipped 25% not included in what I stated I spent. I would not necessarily drive back here for care but was in the area for an appointment and will go again if in the area again. Hot towel and stone massage in pedicure divine

Bex Zarem I have been going here for many months, now. Eric does my nails, and is never afraid of a challenge in the art department. He is very creative. Lisa gives really fantastic pedicures. My farm feet look clean and fancy, and theyre so soft! The shop is in a great location, right off the highway, at Fruitville. Its clean and bright, and the whole staff are really nice, and have a great sense of humor. I always look forward to getting my nails done here. The price is also amazing for the attention to detail provided.

Shannon Christopher Mike was a wonderful nail technician who was gentle and detailed when doing my manicure. He did an excellent job, and I am very happy with my natural-color dip manicure with chrome dust.

Melissa Quinones Absolutely love this place, I’m very particular about people doing my nails and coming from Jersey I couldn’t find any place that treated my nails as kind as up east until I found this location, they don’t destroy your nails when you choose to do gel color compare to other nail salons I’ve tried around here. They are always the sweetest and never mess around when it comes to your appt. I also love there peaceful music and videos they play. Truly a moment of tranquility from my very busy life. Super grateful I found this place and this will remain my go to spot! 10/10 recommend this location!

Karen Jernigan The guy is an absolute jerk! No one here and he’s saying he has no availability. He says they are fully booked until 7pm. He’s on his phone and literally sitting there. Don’t come here - worst nail salon in SRQ! Horrible customer service.

Elena Golovey We are vacationing with my family & decided to go out to get our nails done with my sisters. This nail spa was near us so we decided to give it a shot. The pricing was good expect you have to pay more if you want another shape other than square. We booked an appointment within 30 minutes of coming. Yuki did my nails and she was very sweet to talk to. The only thing is they don’t have a really good selection of colors. Overall, it was a good pick, I got exactly what I wanted.

Ashlyn Falahee I have been going to Show Nail and Spa for about 2 Years now. Every single staff member is incredible at what they do! I set appointments with Grace because she has shown time and time again that she is THE BEST in Sarasota. She takes her time, is patient, and makes you feel very special! This is the ONLY nail salon I go to because they are so great. I get dip powder and my nails stay on for a MINIMUM of 3 weeks; no cracks! I highly recommend this studio and their staff!

Megan Turner This was the worst “manicure” I’ve ever had, they didn’t soak off my old gel polish but buffed it off with the machine for shaping acrylic. They didn’t dry the coats of gel properly because my black nails all started peeling within 2 hours of the service, they rushed my daughter’s blue nails so much that there was paint all over her fingers, the lady was annoyed when I asked her to remove the excess polish. The gentleman who did my nails put lotion on one hand, massaged it for maybe 30 seconds and the didn’t even massage the second one at all and just said he was done. They said they would fix the nails if we went back but it’s not even worth it, I will just be going back to a different salon. The demeanor of the staff was just bothered and annoyed in general, they were not friendly at all. Terrible customer service.

Rose Mac Of all the nail salons I’ve tried in downtown Sarasota, Lotus clearly offers the best quality service and the best prices. The staff are friendly and helpful and the recently remodeled salon is bright and airy. Its location nextdoor to Publix in the Broadway Promenade Shopping Center is also extremely convenient.

natasha barrera I went to remove gel x nails and rather than soak and scrape the gel off, the used an electric buffer and buffed all the way down to the pinks of my nail! Ouch! They are tender to the touch and my nails are so frail today. The lady wanted me to get gel polish to protect them because my nails are so thin. :( I would have paid for the gel mani even without the “need” to protect them. My nails are very thick and strong normally and I’m sad I need to let them grow all the way out before I do anything to them again. My normal nail tech was unavailable this time. I have been here before for a fresh gel manicure in the past and the experience was fine.

Brooke Greenberg I have been coming here for the past 3 years I have been satisfied with my basic nail designs but I must say they have a new nail tech that kills it! Prices are more than reasonable and everyone is kind and talks to you! I would say my only suggestion would be to close the door it was wicked cold out today !!! I LOVE MY NAILS

It was the guy who did them for me. Hes really good. People shouldnt listen to the bad reviews. This place is awesome

Gianna I go here all the time with my mom, usually it’s okay, Friday it was not. I went in for a dip color change, the tech was rude and I didn’t have a good feeling about the service. The tech proceeded to cut off more than half of my nail length, which is when I got upset. The manager then comes over and tells me to “calm down”, I said I didn’t want the color anymore and to just give me clear polish and I’ll leave. He proceeded to drummel the crap out of my nails, throws my hands back and says “you’re done” to which I responded “you’re right, I’m done”. The pictures below are what my nails looked like when I walked out. NEVER coming back here.

G.M i only came here because my husband bought me an expensive gift certificate and i decided to use my left over certificate today. i walked in told the man i want pedicures. once the lady finished with my pedicures, i came cash out and they charged me for a gel which i never mentioned. it bothers me that i told pedicures 3x and i didnt mention any gel which come to surprise of $50 for pedicure. the man that did my pedicure before this lady (same process) charge me $32 not $50. if the issue was a language barrier, they should of ask the client gel or no gel, the previous pedicure understood that i only want regular pedicure the same answer i also said today. i also noticed cause i came to use their service 4x and when they ask what payment u want to use, everytime i use the certificate, they dont say the total amount they want to look at the certificate how much you got only to get overcharge. i dont know about this place anymore. they ripped my skin few days ago when i did my eyebrow, a man didnt clean my acrylic nails below my nail bed and had to ask a lady to clean it. they basically took my giftcertificate and charge me more for the service. Happy Nails, husband doesnt look too happy when i got home with this skin on my eyebrows. he insist i should write a review that day but i think i had enough today.

Liz Zeitler We had been a year ago and was great. This time Angel was rude and rushed through pedicure. She didnt talk just yanked on my legs or feet when she needed something. Massage was terrible. Was mad because I just wanted a simple pedicure. She put paper towels instead of toe separators so the toes ruined wet nails. Would never go there again 42$ a plain pedicure. $26 for pedicure 10$ for using the Parmesan grater on feet and $5 to take of previous gel polish. They also set a timer to make sure pedicure got done in time. My girlfriend sat next to me and her girl didnt say one word. Never again will we visit. They just want every dime from you.

Jenn Goddard Dont go here!!! $165 garbage pedicure for 2!! We waited 30 minutes. They gave me a broken chair. We paid for the hot stone predicate for 2 people. And an extra $20 for callus removal. We got slightly warn rocks rubbed on as mildly for 5 minutes. Not what was advertized. They didnt care about the experience or making the experience good!!! 3 times I had to ask him to cut down my nails. I have never had to ask anyone ever. When it came For the polish, it was dried out so they used nail polish remover to loosen the bottle. I asked 3 times to switch to a different bottle he said it was fine. He put 4 coats on. I waited under the dryer for 15 minutes. Left with flip flops on. Turned on the cold air in the car for it to continue drying on the way home. 20 minutes later I put shoes that were open toe heals and they smeared all over. $165 dollor mistake Save your money go somewhere else

Leah Gordillo I had a horrible experience here getting gel X nails which are expensive and should last at least 2 weeks, mine lasted a week. When the girl removed my gel nail polish with a buffer she hurt me at least 7 or 8 times and it burned badly. Then she even accused me of making it up! I should have walked out then and there. Then when she wrapped my hands in acetone it was so soaked that the acetone spilled all over the counter and myself. My nails looked like a ducks beak. You can see how awful the application with glue is in the second photo. Stay away!!
