Diane Johns Long story short, you saved my husbands life. Everyone was remarkable!! Kindness was shown at every level. He came in with back pain and left with a stint in his heart. We are forever grateful to your staff!! Will recommend Lawnwood hospital to everyone. Thank you!!

Gracie Girl Had to go to the ER for terrible back pain. Just wanna say the ER Dept at Lawnwood is a well oiled machine. They check you in quick. Everyone is in sync and so super friendly. I don’t know why people give Lawnwood such a bad rap. That definitely wasn’t my experience at all! I’ve been to other ER’s over the years and have never been treated with such kindness and compassion. If I ever have another issue, I will definitely go back to Lawnwood.

Patricia VanGilder The nurses, lab techs and including Freddy (from the kitchen), were wonderful! They took care of me like I was their only patient, I dont know how they did it. When Freddy comes its like a waiter is coming to take my order. My meals were balanced and tasteful, here is one of my meals.

Peggy Engeler I have never had the privilege of being in a brain trauma center like Lawnwood. If it were not for my big dog, waiting for me at home, I do not think I would have wanted to leave. I have been hospitalized many times. Never have I been treated so well with so much compassion. Everybody on the floor of my unit seem to be best friends they work together like a team helping each other. People who weren’t even my nurse has stopped in to say hello and wish me well. I can’t say enough good things about Nate and the physical therapy department. Troy and the other nurses went way above and beyond their duty to keep me safe and help me recover from my subdural hematoma. My words are in adequate to express my gratitude.

Mary Garwood Staff was great although I had an elderly roommate that hindered my stay because all I could think about was getting away from her... I asked that my room be changed which was denied. On top of current illness for this hospitalation I suffer from horrible anxiety and was not able to tolerate "my neighbor had to request to leave rather then stay and heal.

Callie Coughran Not even worth one star. I went in with a bad cough that I had almost for two months. The doctor said that I had a severe sinus infection and sent me home with two RX scripts, which did absolutely nothing for me. It was like the doctor couldn’t get me out of clinic soon enough. A week later I went to a different urgent care with my symptoms much worse. Dr rushed me in, ordered X-rays, and diagnosed me with bilateral pneumonia (double pneumonia) and said that I am a very sick woman. He said that the other urgent care doctor diagnosed me wrong and that I came to see him just in time. He said that the first urgent care doctor should have known better. I’m still sick but getting better thanks to a knowledgeable and care Dr.

JoaniMae comer I visited then Okeechobee Urgent care this afternoon. I am disgusted by the care of ARNP John Rhodes. He was yelling at staff. He did not listen to me as the patient. He didn’t check my heart or chest to listen to me breathing which I am asthmatic. He did nothing but say I’m am the 40 something patient and try to give me a speech about bacteria. It’s been nine days and things are not getting any better. I have asthma. I have sinus problems that I’ve had surgery for I truly just wanted steroids. He couldnt give me a moment to talk. He stormed out of the room saying just give her augmentin then… He never looked at my chart to see that I am allergic to the penicillin family. If it was not for his amazing nurse, I could’ve died by not knowing the medicine if I was not smart enough to look it up . Then ask the nurse if I could have a steroid because I just needed the swelling to reduce. The nurse looks so stressed by the constant yelling and snapping but was amazing and an advocate for the patients.

Heather T The Providers dont listen to you. They get tunnel vision on one symptom and disregard everything else your trying to tell them. I wish healthcare was about listening to the patient but these days they act like your a burden to them.

Bonnie Greenhouse I needed an xray for my hip Pain. The tech was late and didn’t seem professional, like he was new? The xray looked faded. The NP came in the room, stood by the door and quickly said “ no fracture”. Ok. Quickly told me I could go to ER for MRI or CT scan. I wanted a printed evaluation but didn’t get one. Nothing was said about my spinal degeneration or anything. I had to pay for a CD. Why’s everyone in. Hurry.???? Im in pain and needed to be treated with a bit more compassion. Im 70 disappointed yet most places now treat you like they dont care at all.

Gretell Kamanel This center has excellent doctors , but extremely bad doctor too. There is a department called patient experience, when you suppose to call for help or send an email. No one help you , they answer the phone 1 time and then, never again. You send and email, they supposed to answer in 3 business day. Never happens. It is incredible how the excellence does not exist in this center. ( my opinion)

Ana Inkd Dr Adam Sienkiewicz was my doctor for my emergency room visit. We’re all human, but this man had zero care, empathy, or proper bedside manner whatsoever. Called security on my parents for wanting to stay with me and understand what was going on. A nurse put his hands on my mother for wanting to stay. I went in for an IV and got sent on a 3 day hold simply for being intoxicated ( with a history of depression but I explained that I have a team I work with ) I’d recommend just leaving if you get this doctor or he’ll try and run up your insurance as much as he can or treat you like a criminal for some reason.

E H I visited this medical center once to see a family member. The staff was nice and helpful. Some local friends have mentioned that this is the best medical center in the area so far. However, I also heard about a friend’s childbirth experience where the nurse repeatedly disturbed them at midnight to measure the newborn. I’ll update my review if I get more information later.

Stephanie Roman This place is a joke. I clicked “I have arrived” for my 8am appointment. Never got a text to go inside (even waiting 10min after my time). After check in, I’m told to go to station 2. NOBODY is at station 2 and have 4 people waiting. 30min after my scheduled time I’m still waiting to be called and see the doctor dancing around in the back with food in his mouth. Ridiculous. Maybe if everybody in that building was more concerned about patients than gossiping like school children, they would be able to provide much better service.

Tim Gray I would give it a zero if possible. Sent a text to stay in the vehicle for Wife’s appointment and would send one to come in. We never received a text, went inside at 8:00am and the staff didn’t know why we didn’t just come in. Arrived at 7:45am for an 8:00am appointment. Staff rude and inattentive. Left facility at 8:30am without being seen by doctor after not being called back for an 8:00am. The place opens at 8. Why is there a wait with first appointment? And the doctor is spotted multiple times just eating, walking around, and joking. No respect for patients’ health or time. Amazing when doctors offices want to charge fees for late or missed appointments, not let you see the doctor if you are late, but we revolve around their time. Don’t practice medicine if your heart isn’t in it for the right reason.

Martha G. I have never seen the same doctor twice which bothers me the most. I believe that a good relationship with your doctor is important. But they basically read your chart and guess from there. The wait time is an hour on average and thats WITH an appointment. The only positive thing I can say is that I have never had to wait more than a couple days for an appointment unlike some places that only have open spots three months from the time you call. But if you need a basic doctor then go for it.

Keeley Moore I was going to this place to figure out my current health issues and get answers which I never got really. Dr.Moore Everytime I came for follow up he would ask why am I there um hello you scheduled for me to come back after x-rays then reads my X-rays I ask what are the next steps he says physical therapy or surgery I said okay he says I need MRI first and it called my insurance to find out I was supposed to go to 6 physical therapy appointments before MRI and he never called me once to tell me this or anything mind you Ive been in pain for months as having several symptoms due to my neck issues I was never taken serious I would ask question or explained how i felt i would be brushed off like it was nothing this is my health and I felt like he just didnt care he would come in the room for 2 minutes and then leave I would be left with nurse to go over same questions they ask Everytime this place is a joke they always have you waiting for hours even with appointment Im utterly disappointed and think they need better doctors that actually care for there patients Ill never go back looking for a new doctor dont waste your time at this place

Robert Ayres A joke is correct. Its not a walk-in clinic unless you consider next week is when they will see you. I told them I would probably be dead by then and left. The girl at the desk didnt understand.

Pete Bouchard Used to be able to call out there and get your labs done now you cant even reach the VA clinic in Okeechobee and Route your way back to West Palm Beach I mean whats the point even having them out of here

Des Went to get my labs taken. The receptionist completely spaced our conversation regarding the appointment and didnt have me scheduled. They took my blood anyway. Not a very busy location. Even so, they still work at the speed of government. The lab technician was completely incompetent. She was wearing gloves, but had her index finger exposed. She did sanitize the draw site, but palpatated the draw site with her bare index finger! Big no-no. Of course, whos going to police her? It’s the stupid government.

michael banks All I need to say about this place is I went there with chest pain, and they did an ecg which was abnormal. Afterwards, they told me I needed to drive to the west palm beach VA hospital while I was having chest pain. They didn’t offer me medical transport of any kind. Who has a patient drive over an hour, actually over an hour and a half with traffic, when they’re actively having chest pain? That should tell you all you need to know about the care vets receive from this place, and the VA in general. The government needs to eliminate all VA healthcare facilities and give us all tricare so we actually get better help than take ibuprofen 800 the military cure all for everything.

Willnesha Williams On March 3, 2025, I brought my stepfather (a past stroke patient) to Lakeside Medical Center upon the discovery that he could not lift his right side like he previously were able to the days prior. He was unable to walk, urinating on himself and cognitively disoriented. After doing vitals they discovered his bp was a little elevated , his heart rate was fast so he was admitted and told me they were doing a ekg & mri which they later said was clear. Its unfortunate , that they never did an neurological  assessment on him despite what he was brought in for and his past history of strokes. He was discharged the next day with a urine bag with nothing to be attached to keep it from unsanitary areas verses one  to his leg, still unable to lift his right side, still cognitively disoriented. Spoke to the doctor, Brandi the floor manager today March 5 about his status since being discharge  they claimed that he refused a leg bag. I was never told this information when I am his direct contact and have a POA . I was only called to say he was ready because he is being discharged. They also then offered home health care for him at home. I was told they did see the weakness to that side. Once I advocated to let them know that’s a sign that something is going on since he was able to function to his norm days prior, I was then told to bring him back in and they will send him to another hospital where a neurologist can evaluate him. To me that is neglect of proper treatment and care when he could’ve been sent out instead of being discharged on March 4, 2025

Carolyn Mckenzie The worst hospital in western Florida. Not enough staff no medical equipment needed to help patients. Patients have to be sent to other hospitals some dont even get to go to another hospital they are sent home to die. One occasion my sister was sick they didnt refer her to another hospital they just hooked her up to IV for a hour or two and sent her home. She called me crying saying they didnt give me nothing to help me. I told her to go somewhere else she did but the doctors said she should of came sooner all times of going to lakeside they didnt even try to suggest that she go to another hospital. To get the proper treatment she needed. She gone now. My brother is facing the same treatment but we are going to make sure he get somewhere else before its to late. Someone need to shut that monstrosity of hospital down or get real professional nurses and doctors on staff and get the right equipment to handle the patient and better Food. Its bad when you call for a nurse and it takes them two hours before they come to your room by that time you experiencing a real emergency in your body all you get is the nurse is coming and no one show up for two to three hours, that is displorable. Think twice before taking your love one there.cbcm

Kyrah McClain This Hospital needs to close down! They are no help at all. I got to the hospital at 5 left at 10 with no answers to my problem. The nurses and staff were arguing while I was in the room HURTING unprofessional. They did 3 test on me including taking blood and didn’t tell me not one result on anything! Just came back in the room at 9 and told me I was getting discharged! Worst experience ever! And I do not recommend this wanna be hospital to no one.

Tatiana Yaques Cleveland Clinic has gone down the drain. They won’t release my medical records. I can’t talk to anyone in any of my provider’s offices. They don’t have appointments for months even for critical or time sensitive issues. Doctors leave and they don’t tell you and then you’re stuck with whoever takes over. Many of their doctors are not personable and don’t care at all about their patients. Run far away from Cleveland Clinic. They are not what they used to be.

Amy Baker As far as appointment scheduling and customer service does, I would give zero stars if I could. Appointment scheduling is cumbersome and it doesn’t seem as though the person on the other end of the phone can go off script. It’s impossible to get a timely appointment. They have now gotten rid of the front desk and you have to check in via kiosk. There is always a glitch with the Kiosk and then the single person sitting there is annoyed that she has to physically assist a patient. The only saving grace to this place (now that any shred of personal service is gone) is my doctor: Dr Mason. She is phenomenal. The moment she leaves however…

Canary Consistently awful experience with The Physicians working at the WPB Cleveland Clinic. Have seen several over the years hoping to find someone who cares and it seems that the prevailing attitude of “ dont bother me with yourself , I don’t have time for you and I don’t care” has gotten even worst over the years. Zero customer Service and No One Cares. The staff and doctors all look totally sick , some extremely obese and most act angry and gleefully unhelpful . The recommendations are half mouthed , awful and unhelpful . The last time the person who saw me had most unprofessional bedside manners , offensive comments , dismissive and arrogant attitude and was unwilling to discuss my issues and concerns with me because “ I did not look like I was dying “ Also refused to give me a referral to a local specialist bc I did not want to drive a 100 miles to see the only one their organisation had. Then left the room to see the next patient before i can ask at least one question. The nurse came in , refused to help me read a paper she handed me than scolded me and left the room. Thats it . Doctors visit at Cleveland Clinic. Just pray you don’t have a real issue. Going to that office is a complete waste of time. Do not recommend and will not return.

Addie Molina I have had the worst experience with Dr. Tarakami. My first time seeing her, because it its somewhat an emergency. I am asthmatic and have a bad chest congestion not being able to stop coughing and my ribs are aching. I took my nebulizer, advair, zertic, all to no avail. I told her the the only thing the works for me is codein syrup. She never listened to me and ordered something similar to over the counter med which makes my blood pressure high. I messaged her and told her the med is not working. She said she was not giving me codine. To try something else, why? I already told her what works! I am 71 years old with no addictions. I hope I can get over this horrible ordeal. If I could give 0 star I would.
