Janese Walsh Good afternoon! I had to take a relative to the ER in Vero Beach recently. I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to commend the wonderful staff! Steve (the PA), Vince, Keiran, the intake woman outside our room, and a few others really made an awful situation easier to deal with. Thank you very much!

Kent Brimberry The entire staff I am so grateful for. My wife was here last September and we just wanted to say thank you. They treat you like family and care for you in the same way . God Bless this place because you are a blessing to so many. Thank You for your service.

T.J. Miller You would be better off seeing a veterinarian than coming to this hospital. First some history to understand my qualifications to give this review. I am a masters degree registered nurse and I have a masters degree in public health and epidemiology. I moved to Vero Beach in late September 2024. Prior to that I lived in Ohio where the HQ of Cleveland Clinic is located. I have had extensive major heart surgery at the Cleveland Clinic hospital in Cleveland as well as treatment for a brain tumor. I am lucky I survived due to their skill. However once I moved to Vero Beach, the "seamless" transition inwas promised was nothing but a nightmare. The facilities are absolutely filthy. Dustballs rolling on the floors. Staff who refuse to wash their hands in-between patients, Rooms with sticky, stained floors. Doctors that are openly hostile, and argue with one another over proposed treatment plans. Doctors with backgrounds of being trained in foreign substandard medical schools and who have work histories of jumping from place to place on a yearly basis. Extremely short staffed facilities that cause obscene delays in care. Rude staff that are openly hostile. Billing practices that are designed to overcharge and extort money from patients and make Cleveland Clinic Indian River more expensive in looking at their general price list than their parent hospital in Cleveland, Ohio on an apples to apples comparison of 100 items. Do yourself a favor. Go elsewhere for care. You deserve far better.

James Collette So far, my mother was admitted last week, and under there care, she has not shown any signs of improvement. Some of these nurses are extremely rude and don’t do much to help at all. There is some good ones, but not many. Very sad that the level of care is horrible. My mother will have an accident in the bed and they have her lay in it for an hr, before they can get to her. She has swelling in her legs and they have getting out of the bed, with the risk of falling, with no assistance. I want someone in management to reach out to me immediately.

Melby Beach The level of incompetence is astounding, Called 4 times for an important issue and 3 times was told I would receive a call back. I did not. I would stay away from this hospital. The docs may be knowledgeable but the support staff is not responsive. Everything is kicked down the line to someone else and no one takes ownership of requests. Tried to call in an official complaint… guess what? … said someone would call me back. Nope, they didn’t. STAY AWAY.

Vero Beach VA Clinic

JAFO 72 Ive been in the VA Healthcare system as a patient for over 10 years. This is by far the worst CBOC I have encountered. Twice I have driven 30+ minutes for a scheduled appointment, only to be told upon arrival that its a virtual appointment or conference call. There was nothing in the appointment schedule to let me know. The receptionists are rude and could care less about the Veterans there.

Steve Callas I have been going here for 9yrs now, the last 2 have been seeing acute psychologist, Aerial, and another psychologist named Geri, both have helped me deal with a lot of mental health issues, my primary care dr was Dr. Brown, now I have Dr.OMeara, she is good too. Would have given 5 stars but have had some issues making appts. Otherwise everyone is great there.

LeftyNero Productions Ignore the previously low reviews. Dr. Fortunato has been since last year and has turned this place around. The nurses are wonderful as well. I have been to many VA clinics in FL and this is by far the best. They treat you like a person and by name, here you are not just a number. Please keep this crew here VA, thank you.

Kimberley Mann They treat my Mother as her primary care physician. This past visit he was in the room for literally 5 minutes and was standing the whole time. He doesnt care about his patients. His nurse Ashley is rude and doesnt pass on messages that she leaves for her physician. I have heard the way she talks to my mother on the phone. Please stay away from this doctor. His practice is a disaster. I am a retired nurse and quite honestly, I do not understand how this practice stays open.

Karen Greene Write a bad review about the practice or Dr. Dalili and have it deleted by the practice! Very unprofessional! About as unprofessional as the certified letter I was sent dated 10/6/2021 after I left the bad review of him and his practice and now he withdrawals from being my physician. Guess that Maserati payment doesnt need my $15.00 copay that bad. Funny thing is that my husband is still a patient, we became new patients at the same time, so maybe the Dr. is a bit selective with who he sees and how he bills them? Seeing both my husband and I were billed differently for new patient appointments a few weeks apart. Oh yah, the Dr told my husband he would not put that kind of thing in his chart because an employer could pull that info and that would not be in his favor for his work environment. Funny thing is that I worked for the same government operation for 23 years and we are both retired! But its ok for me but not for my husband?! Immoral values and should not be practicing! Good thing he gave me the number to the County health department in my certified letter which has a link to The Division of Medical Quality Assurance website!

valli jo flynn Saw Dr. Curtis briefly. My husband and I were patients. I’m an acute care provider. We are healthy. Went to his office to determine best approach for aging female issues. The inexperienced NP asked a senior provider for recommendations. He suggested an anti depressant. Who DOES that? Also “fat Shamed” my hubby for being slightly overweight. Left the practice with immediacy. Found Dr. Migdalia Merida who is impeccable!!! Very happy with my primary provider!!!! I would not suggest this practice to my patient.

Kim Roberts I must say I have had the unfortunate trip to the Emergency Department actually several times with the same issue over the past 6 months. I have been lucky enough to get Dr Jean-Paul, TWICE!! He is the most caring, compassionate and understanding Doctor I have ever had in an ER. He "LISTENS" to the patient which is absent in so many Doctors. I wish he had a private practice. Thank You Dr for your empathy and care!!

Kristin Feldhaus My daughter took her fiance here. We came to the ER because it was an emergency. Her fiance was crying out in pain and holding his wound, they made them go to sign in and he couldnt respond to the questions because of his severe pain levels and the woman at the front desk pointed at the officer next to her and threatened to kick them out. My daughter finished answering the information & signed for him. They were then told to sit & wait. After 15 minutes passed of him sitting there in pain, my daughter walked up to the nurse sitting by the door and asked if there was anyway he could possibly be seen sooner, he responded that they were "cleaning his bed" & it would be a minute. After 10 minutes passed another male nurse called his name and my daughter went back with him. They sat them in a room with several patients and nurse after nurse walked by them without acknowledging them. Finally my daughter spoke up again and asked to be seen. A male nurse then looked at her fiance and asked his name & what was going on. Trough tears he tried to explain the issue & even told the nurse how he had taken tylenol all morning and nothing was helping. The male nurse then yelled to a female nurse "We need poison control here now." My daughters fiance then told him he just wanted his wound assessed please, and the male nurse responded "Do you have a medical degree or do I?". Frustrated my daughter then asked if they would please help him, the male nurse then said they would assess the wound after poison control looked at him or they will call security. My daughter then got up and took her fiance to another ER where they immediately assessed his wound and he was better within 30 minutes. I dont understand why anyone would want to work in a hospital if they dont want to help people, but these staff members were extremley unprofessional & Im very dissapointed in the way they treat patients.

Just Me This ER has gone down downhill... Its soo poorly managed now. I brought my daughter in around 4pm and they immediately put her on oxygen and we still sat in the waiting area for over 5 hours while people that came in hours after her were seen. When I questioned why the reception ladies told me they serve the sickest patients first, but thats not true because people with simple injuries requiring a stitch or 2 were seen and they came in after us... It makes no sense at all and we will be going to the HCA ER on Oslo rd from now on

Sasha Correa If I could put 0 stars I would have. They’ll leave you in the EMERGENCY ROOM for 8 hours without taking any steps to actually help what you’re here for. I guess we were mistaken when we read ER. Even better when we’re here for UC issues and still treated as if we’re here for a headache. No tests to make sure a rupture hasn’t occurred, which could be deadly. 2 doctors/nurses came out asking if things have been done since they’re ready and that answer is no. So we get to wait even longer because it doesn’t seem anyone communicates or knows how to do their job. Oh but they’re backed up! With 4 of us in the waiting room. We’ve been here since 8pm and it’s now 3am.

Steven W Extremely Frustrating and Unprofessional Office Staff I’ve never experienced such incompetence and disregard for patient care in any medical office. My doctor prescribed me a medication three weeks ago, but due to the utter ineptitude of the office staff, I have yet to receive it. Despite calling daily, they either send the wrong documentation to my insurance provider or simply ignore my requests altogether. It’s shocking that a medical office could be so indifferent to a patient’s health and well-being. Every time I call, I get empty promises, and after three weeks of excuses, I still don’t have the medication I desperately need. Either through laziness or complete lack of professionalism, this office staff has made what should be a simple process an absolute nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone to reconsider if you are thinking of choosing this practice. They clearly don’t value their patients or prioritize getting them the care they need.
