Luke Dahl Dr. Ciccone (ER doctor) must have been having a terrible day. Unfortunately, this gets passed-on to the patient. Bedside manner = -10! In all my years of doctor and/or hospital visits, NEVER, EVER, EVER have I encountered a "healthcare provider" that was so rude. This guy could really, truly benefit from some emotional intelligence training. Even the staff was apologizing for his behavior. How sad! Your subordinates are making excuses for you. Lose the God complex and recognize the fact that you are only human, too! I will never visit this hospital again. The fact that doctors can get away with this behavior is beyond troublesome. Be sure that Northside is your last choice!

Mary Price ER: I was told being kept overnight. Short on beds and rooms. I fell asleep in a chair in a side room and woke up in a gurney in the Hallway!! Completely embarrassing! And they couldnt tell me if I would get out of the hallway today! Can you imagine sleeping in a hospital gown with 100 people walking past you staring at you!!! Horrible Horrible Experience!

Katie Burrows If you’re someone who actually reads reviews and you’re looking for a good doctor, please read this very carefully. Dr Marci Johns is not professional nor is her receptionist Connie. Dr Marci will rush you & make you feel uncomfortable for even coming in, in the first place. She does not care about her patients. Which is very clear by the 3 stars and reviews that she has. (I didn’t know this until now.) They will also send you a letter in the mail stating that you have been “dropped” as a patient after you had already cancelled your appointment with them first. Which I found very odd. This was specifically for the way I was spoken to over a blood test. Mind you this was my 3rd appointment within a year. Communication goes a long way and you have got to do better. Have a better day ladies or you won’t have a job soon with all these poor reviews and people you’re scaring away! It’s already hard enough going to the doctors for some, you just make it 10x worse!

Joe Joe I recieved a letter from Dr. May that she is quitting being my primary care provider. Last I saw her it was for chronic health issues that, since the beginning of the year, she has refused work with me on. In addition, she did a horrible (essentially nonexistent) job exlaining how the process of diagnosis to treatment would go. Dr. May has resigned herself to treatment at the direction of insurance companies she will not stand up against. She will not fight for you. She will not advocate for you. She is the reason people just opt to go the the ER even when it isnt an emergency - because you cant pay her enough to care. Try for yourself and watch as she struggles to keep eye contact and pays you little mind during evaluations. Call her out and youll get a resignation letter from her as well. She should shift her practice to telemed while that is popular - she *might* be good enough for that.

Steve Economy We needed a doctor in Florida for the two months that we are here. We found Dr Nosek. My wife and I were both pleased with our exams and found him to be caring and knowledgeable. I have been suffering with a sore muscle in my shoulder. He determined that nothing was broken and referred me to PT, where the treatment has improved my pain by 75%. We were happy with his services and would not hesitate to see him again

L F Dr. Hils is a fantastic and empathic physician. She truly is a collaborative partner in treatment and understands patient view points. Additionally, she knows who to refer for specialized care outside her scope.

Anastasiia Karpova I want to express my immense gratitude to every staff member who works at this hospital and helps people! I was admitted with a severe case of pneumonia, and the staff took great care of me. Every single person was incredibly polite and offered help at any moment. I have never experienced such thoughtful care anywhere else. I am deeply grateful to you—you don’t just treat people, you also warm their hearts! Thank you! Anastasia

Dasha I had a great experience with the staff and medical attention I received for a laceration. Dr.Mark who did my stitches was amazing and made me feel calm through the whole process. He was the best truly. All the nurses who were involved were also phenomenal. Very kind, calm, positive, and overall really good people. Thank you Bayfront!

J. Jordan All and all… Great staff considering the reasons for being in an ER… Got attacked in front of a restaurant by 5 young punks filming “One Knockouts” for tictok (they picked the wrong guy) and got my nose broke with minor cut. Went into THE EMERGENCY room to build the record for the case and make sure I was stitched. The staff and people were caring and attentive to putting me back together. They took the time to make sure I didn’t have other underlying injuries or more. They brought the police in upon my request to fill out a statement and made sure I was comfortable with all needs. We did have a little challenge with billing which the AR team worked with me on to make this less painful all around. Hopefully you never have to visit, but if you do, you will be taken care of.

Hank Ripley I have to CHANGE my review for this location and my recent experience. I have been a patient for some time and in the past have been more than dissatisfied. Today that was the opposite case. Thanks to the extreme hard work of Vera over the past few months, my experience today was phenomenal!! Since she has been working with me and for me with my Dr and the other staff, I have seen a 1000% turnaround. The pharmacy staff was extremely helpful the past few visits and even helped with a insurance issue that would have been a disaster 6 months ago. I want to thank Vera and I HOPE she gets the recognition she deserves for being unrelenting in her desire to improve my health and my experience with THIS location of Evara Health. Keep up the AMAZING work Vera and dont let ANYONE change your heart.

Gabriela Isabel please run so far away from this facility. the nurse practitioner nurse quam or quan was seriously so unprofessional. she was rude, off putting, and not very knowledgeable. for example, she did not know what “eczema”was… super concerning. it was very frightening that the nurse was lacking medical knowledge. save your time and go somewhere else.

Joyce Black This doctor office does not train there staff to use a wheelchair scale for there patients they only had one employee that knew how to use it. Now they claim not to have it anymore. I guess my daughter cant get a physical here because they dont consider patients like her.

She_Flourished This was the worst visit at a doctors office that I have ever experienced. Yesterday was my first time at Evara Health. I had asked for directions from one of the receptionists in at the front desk, They got upset at me that I asked for directions and then pointed me in the wrong direction. I had another staff member point me into the right direction and I was about 10 minutes late to my appointment. The doctor barely listened to me, didn’t prescribe me my refills for my medications that I needed. I literally went to a doctors appointment just to get asked how my day was and not get asked what do I need help with. Worst experience ever and I do not recommend to any new patients. I will never go back!!

Brionna Barrett This place gets worse and worse as the days go by, I’ve called for the past few months trying to get my 12yr old a dental appointment that’s pushed all the way back to October which I don’t see how because it’s always completely empty. I’ve been showing up for the past few weeks early each morning to take her as a walk in and each time I go we get told something different. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTORS OFFICE IN HISTORY and that’s sad all because the employees either are lying or just don’t want to accept us as patients and we’ve been going here for years. With all the upgrades and updates you’d think they’d hire better and more caring nurses and front desk workers but no they are lazy and not worth a penny!!!

tracey garland Dr Joy was the absolute worst. She rushed through my appt. She didnt even ask me any questions and I went in to see her for chest pain. She gave me zero answers zero tests and zero plans. I left feeling like I had wasted my time and money. It was very depressing. She is a gaslighter and does not care at all about her patients. Seek another profession, Joy. If I could give zero stars I would.

magdoli miller A complete nightmare for those possible new patients looking to see a specialist. My primary care Dr sent me to see a Neuromuscular specialist, and my insurance said, they are the one on my network. Their rules " IF YOU ARE NOT A REGULAR PATIENT WITH OUR PRYMARY CARE DRS. WE CAN NOT SEE YOU". Do not insist, they are not going to see you. Customer service, was average, I waited over 30 minutes for a human being to take my call. What is worst, my insurance is very expensive, I paid it every month, it is automatically taken from my paychecks so I dont know what is worst, the insurance, this places rules or my condition. The only one left suffering is the patient because no even with money you can have a good service in here. We are becoming 3r world country . I live 1 1/2 hour away to this place, my primary care Dr., I rather have it close to me. This situation is messed up.

Kristine Clark Miserable experience every single time!! Staff does not answer phones, and are very rude in person!! I am dealing with a breast mass. My doctor didn’t even give me the results. I had to go get the results from the imaging place and read that I have a mass. Now, I have a biopsy scheduled and they can’t get this office to send a signed prescription! Despite faxing and multiple calls!! DO NOT trust your healthcare to this incompetent uncaring office!!

Katelyn Le 0 star I could give to this community health center if they have 0 star option Since they change service to Evara Health . It very hard to contacts to agent by phone. Been try to call for 2 days. Each time I have to wait on phone more then an hour. No one response. Finally I got luck on my second day for last call after wait for another an hour, someone picked the phone up. I just need a copy of the referral from doctor for my kid. She just said please call back and hung up the phone. What the rude service. Even my child specialist doctor office contacted them by phone and by fax need approval from them. No response in the last 2 days. Im at work. Can’t call by phone. Have to be in office personally for the requested that we need for our Kid. What a horrible Evara Health

Denise Fougere Horrible! If I could give negative stars, I would. Inattentive, lack of urgency, rude and horribly disorganized. You have to wait over an hour to talk to someone on the phone and I’m in the waiting room for 40 minutes and they haven’t checked me in yet and made me miss my appointment and they’re so slow dealing with people at the front desk. They also take weeks for referrals and are notoriously known at other doctors for not getting insurance authorized. Now they just called over another lady in front of me who got here after me after I got upset they’re ignoring me. If you care about your health and sanity, stay away! We will be finding a new dr after this. Worse drs office ever. A new name change and branding campaign doesn’t hide the fact that the service is horrible.

Mag Pugs I mean this when I say, this was quite literally the most efficient, pleasant ER experience I’ve ever had. I came in with some significant burns to my chest and torso (pain was there but bearable enough to be ready to wait, considering it’s the ER and all) checking in was smooth, vitals 10 minutes later, triage 30 minutes later, and taken back in another 5 minutes. Now I understand burns can take priority over some cases so I may have been pushed through faster, but still very quick considering. Trey whom escorted me back was uplifting and happy. Both my P.A and nurse were comforting and quick and all within 3 hours, I’m treated + bandaged and pain free. To the entire staff on 1/23/25 around 6pm, thank you!!

Chance Richards Terrible. Went in due to a heart issue with specific instructions from my PCP to have an echocardiogram done. They proceeded to keep me in a room for ~4 hours, run multiple tests like EKGs that had already been done just hours earlier by my doctor (all documented on materials I gave them upon arrival), and NOT run an echocradiogram. To top it off, they left me in a room for the final hour+ without letting me know I was free to go, it tooko a nurse wondering why I was still in the room for someone to let me know I was cleared. So after not doing the echo at all, I had to pay elsewhere to get it done and then got hit with an 8k bill for services I clearly didnt need done. I dont have the money to pay the remaining balance (~3500$) that my insurance refuses to cover, and BayCare refuses to work with me to reduce the bill despite acknowledging that the services rendered "may not" have been necessary. Avoid at all costs.

Marie Dunbar Terrible Experience. First when I walked in they had me register my palm which was weird as hell. Then I was place in a room with 3 female nurses who were rushing through putting the EKG and had me take off my shirt and bra in a room they kept opening the door to and push down my robe to expose my breast when I tried to cover myself. At one point a male nurse opened the door to walk in Without knocking! I have never been to a hospital where there wasn’t a courtesy knock to alert anyone inside. After the nurse tried to do an IV with a loose tourniquet and then got upset after I expressed it hurt because she was rushing, she annoyingly told me she would get someone else to do it and left. After that I immediately got dressed and walked out. Never again. Do better.

Cody Unless you are physically injured with blood and broken bones or can’t breath.. DO NOT GO HERE. They will sit you in the waiting room, get all their tests that add up your bill done, while you sit in a waiting room chair. It will be 3+ hours before you are actually seen and given a private room. Just left here with my girlfriend who likely has Norovirus. Whilst in said waiting room area she is bent over crying in pain trying not to vomit everywhere for 3 hours before we decided to leave because even then…they could not give us an estimate of when we’d be seen rather told us there were a lot of emergency vehicles coming in the back so it could be a while. Do yourself a favor and make the trip to Tampa general. This place is a joke.

David D If you are unlucky enough to need emergency services, but lucky enough to be asked which hospital you prefer, I recommend St. Anthonys. After the "causal" interview & prompt MRI of my head, I was cleaned up and sutured, observations/interactions with staff members were made, and I was released. I felt very comfortable that I was NOT concussed based on the professionalism and expertise I perceived during my visit.

Michael Bitler Do not recommend. Update. 03/27/2024 still a horrendous experience. More like a comedy club. You pay to wait for hours while they eat lunch and cant get scheduling correct. Dont try to call. No. You end up talking to a call center in Miami. Walk in. Yeah, now they want to do teledoc. Well, thats a farse too. Waiting hours now. Walked back in since I cant call. Woops. Theres another emergency... Every time. They cant keep DRs here. The "Office manager" yeah. Its all a joke. Yeah. What can I say. They tanked after the buyout. Call center is frustrating. No callbacks, no answer most of the time. Communication is dismal. Messages left on answering machines from them are incomplete. Identifying as "Clinical Care" as the business name. No clue who they are presently. Told medications in person will be ordered immediately. By the time we get home, pharmacy confirms nothing ordered. Not the first time this has occurred. Says "Walk ins Welcome!" On the door. Yep, nope. No way. Discharged from a hospital?.... No problem! Just make your appointment for a few weeks out. No, not the 3 days or less the hospital recommends. Yeah, make that 5 weeks now I am finally getting an appointment. Bacterial infection!? They take care of those too! 3 weeks after the fact. Whats the point of a DR office when you cant have your illnesses and concerns addressed in a timely fashion? Seven years my family and I have been going here. Treated like a new patient each time we show up with the large turnover of staff they have here. My son was denied service due to him turning 18. He has to be a new client and they are full I was told. We came in after his 18th as they had scheduled us to. Lets not forget the hurry up and wait policy. Show up early, wait hours to be seen. Show up on time, they reschedule you another day. Show up late, yeah. Dont do that. They try to schedule you out past 6-8 weeks or make you wait an additional hour. Then tell you the DR is gone for the day and reschedule you anyways. Do not recommend.

Cameron Woodworth The most DISRESPECTFUL people sitting behind the desk here. They don’t want to do their job and over talk you. They have no clue what’s going on and try to make the patients do their jobs. They are lazy and rude. I’m filing a complaint with the board of health, this entire office needs an overhaul. Ashley Mccullough I had an appointment at 3pm. I sat in a room for 1 hour and nobody ever came in to see me. When I made the appointment I stated I had another appointment at 4:30pm so I had to leave by 4pm. I wouldn’t recommend going there because what’s the point in making an appointment if your not gonna be seen in a reasonable time frame. VERY DISAPPOINTED. It wasn’t even a lot of patients there for appointments.

Horrible service. Telling me I am under collections until the VA pays the claim then they can clear my account and remove from collections. REALLY???? Every single time weve needed their services, from simple emergency room visits to full surgeries and inpatient stays, the care and attention they provide have been exceptional. The staff is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly compassionate and kind, making the experience as smooth and comfortable as possible for both the children and their families. Trusting your childs health and well-being with this hospital is truly a blessing, and I am grateful for the outstanding service they consistently deliver.

If that is not bad enough! they then sent me to collection without attempting to call me after mailing my bills to the wrong address!! I paid the collection company but was confused as to why my insurance company paid over 27000. in hospital bill but did not pay Pinellas Primary Care? I called the office and spoke to Michelle the office manager. She did not want to hear anything that I had to say and was very rude. I just cant understand why people like that can keep there jobs or even stay in business. Todd

Tracey Fischell Dr Bhasvar was very professional, competent and caring and the only reason I initially stayed with this medical practice. Otherwise I have nothing positive to say. I was assigned to a new Dr who refused to refill my daily meds without seeing me first... but they had no timely appointments available, and didnt care I would run out of medicine. However whenever I go there the waiting room is empty and the staff dont seem busy!! The staff member I spoke with regarding my medicine refills was totally incompetent, argumentative, rude, unprofessional and repeatedly hung up on me. I had to go to a Walk-in Clinic to get a temporary medicine refill, and change medical practices. This is the most uncaring and unprofessional medical practice I have ever been to. STAY AWAY!!!!

Doland Stephanie “SCarmen” At the beginning of this year my insurance was changed to HMO and Pinellas Primary Care was to be my Primary Care Provider. Unfortunately I have had 4 ailments since then. Each time I try to schedule an appointment they are booked over a month out. I dont know how they have the volume of patients it takes to be that far booked. I am sick now and I am told I have to wait until end of June? By then I will have suffered and hopefully been better if not worse. This is absurd. When I asked when the next earliest appointment, the receptionist told me she couldnt give me a date. Are you kidding me? She cant even schedule me. I also asked if being booked over a month out is typical they she said yes and recommended me finding another doctor. They are not helping their patients they are enabling them to get worse and allowing whatever aliment to thrive. I will be putting in multiple complaints. STAY AWAY FROM THIS UNPROFESSIONAL PLACE!

The Real Mook Scoop! Ive never been so disrespected or disregarded in my entire life!! The office manager Michelle was absolutely rude and an racist in every single sense of the word!!! After making a phone call this morning 6/2/2016 to request and x-ray referral be sent to Saint Anthonys Hospital by my pcp doctor kerry Cadogan". I was told by the young lady that answered the phone she would give the information I provided to her to the doctor as soon as she arrived. At 2:30 I called back pondering why I have yet to receive a phone call from either the secretary or the doctor herself , I notice that the person on the other end was not the person I spoke to earlier.. I said to her the young lady that I spoke to earlier has all the information. Her attitude changed immediately and she demanded that I tell her what was wrong with me,! As I begin to explain my situation she abruptly hung the phone up!!! Well not noticing that she had disconnected I continued with my story when I noticed that the phone was disconnected I was shocked. So I call back and ask did you hang up purposely she responded we here in this office dont have time for your attitude. I said excuse me but I dont have an attitude I think you may have a problem with your personnel I am the patient... But before I could finish she hung the phone up again!!! Now I do have an attitude! .. and Im going to my doctors office to find out what the problem is , after arriving at the doctors office and speaking to the young lady behind the glass she informed me that dr. Cadogan would not be in until the next day. Ive them asked for the office manager I wanted to ask her why she hung the phone up on me without hearing my medical need? Her attitude and facial expressions made me feel puzzled and disappointed , so I asked her is this how you handle yourself professionally on a daily basis? I went on to ask her for her credentials so I can file a claim. Her answer to me was if you dont like it Im going to call security!!! "Typical racist answer. (If you dont like the way I speak to you..go to jail)" I responded are you kidding me I look to the young lady in the window and ask is there anyway that you can just have dr. CADOGAN write the referral when shes available and Ill just go to the hospital. The manager leaned into our conversation and told me that I was being discharged from that facility if I didnt like it I could file a complaint in 30 days. I choose to go straight to the Florida Board and ask how does a woman with her disposition end up in a job with that position? Bayside Emergency Physicians

(9) Reviews Bayside Emergency Physicians:

Robert Bradley It’s easy to understand why Bayside Emergency Physicians has a low rating of 1.5 stars. I had a straightforward emergency room visit at St. Anthony’s in September 2023. However, 16 months later, I discovered that Bayside failed to submit my insurance claim to Blue Cross Blue Shield on time. After months of trying to resolve the issue through phone calls, I learned that Blue Cross denied the claim because Baysides third-party billing professionals in the Philippines filed it too late. I only learned about the denied claim when it negatively impacted my credit report. Unfortunately, I have been unable to repair my credit, and the billing account supervisor at Bayside has not followed up as promised. During my fourth call today, the Bayside Emergency Physicians billing department informed me they would request payment from Blue Cross for this bill. Their lack of follow-up and interest in my situation has harmed me, but it has also affected their company, which will not get paid due to their poor business practices.

Doug Jones Last July I visited the SAH ER due to a tendon injury, got an x-ray saw a physicians assistant for less than 10 minutes. All they did to help was get me a sling and tell me to ice it. I paid my $1500 ER months ago and to my surprise I just received another $1350 from these crooks. nope. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Greedy health care providers and insurance companies are killing people in the country.

kathleen smith I went there with a really bad sore throat. Overall the experience was good. I was seen initially by an ER doctor and because there were nothing was life threatening he passed me off to a PA. I had to wait for an hour - to have a COVID test and a throat culture. Wait time when there was nobody there was the only bad thing about my experience.

Austin Koring Terrible billing experience. Called multiple times no response since they didn’t properly get my insurance information. Wouldn’t rather die then go through the process again if it meant getting care from one of their providers.

vin frantz Have had good experiences in the past with the docs in this practice...the mid level practitioners seem ok as well. However.... Jennifer....who Ive been stuck with twice shouldnt be working with the public. To be blunt her attitude, and general personality....suck. One bad experience I can write off to a bad day. Two, not so much.
