Susan Noonan Took my 88 year old father whom had a scary incident of choking which was the start of his last heart attack to your ER. He had to sit in ER for over an hour and we were treated horribly by gentlemen acting as security guard. Upon entry, he yelled at us to read the sign as there was more than 2 of us. Frankly the last thing I do when scared my father is having heart attack. There are so many ways he could have addressed us. I sat outside and several hours later he was on break and glared at me as he walked by. Why? Not sure why such an angry person would be in this role. I think the check in person also absorbed his vibe as she incorrectly coded my father’s reason and thus that’s why ER nurse said we sat so long. Once we got past front desk, all was good but please train your ER desk on positively treating customers. This was Friday 3/28 around noon. As I sat w my mom late afternoon, I noticed the next shift was more pleasant. Thank you

Katrina Renteria This review is for a lady by the name of Maria who is at the check in desks in the front. I came in an hour early for my appointment and when I gave her my order form she told me she couldn’t check me in since there was some issues with the codes. After waiting over 2 hours and going back and forth with the office that referred me, we were finally able to get the correct codes and faxed to the office. It was a disappointing experience with the individuals at the office who referred me, but Maria did all she could to help me and finally get me. Thank you, Maria!

P ski I took my mother in for extreme pain. The morning RN named Jill was so pleasant and sensitive to my mothers needs. The next RN Shannon was curt, seemed rushed, lacked empathy and told my mother to reposition herself in bed instead of giving her prescribed pain med for 2 spinal fractures. Im a RN myself, and I have never treated a patient the way Shannon did. I like Lee health alot, but I thought their standards were higher than this. I didnt want to leave my Mother there for fear she would be left to suffer in pain. I forgot to mention that she arrived at 9 am, got admitted and transferred to a hospital around 8:45 pm with not so much as a sip of water or a cracker. (I requested a sip of water for her around 5:30pm and apparently Shannon didnt think she needed it)12 hours with no food or water.

Mchll Mnts Today I was programmed to have a galdbladder removed because I have 2 months with a several pain what is constantemente sending me to ER and taking Percocet and Morphine to kill the pain and I when at the place @7 am. A nurse came and she has not a polite manner at all, I was in pain cuz the Percocet I took by the night was already digested, she asked me “Mrs Monte’s do u have someone to pick you up today” I said “Not now, but I will call someone later”, “she just said very rude, well will not proceed with the surgery until you have someone” I look at her and said I already told to the nurse who called me few days ago about arrangements for stay in the hospital after surgery… she cut me and speak above my voice “this is not a hospital! You can stay here!. Around 7:30 I asked to speak with a manager or someone in charge of patient advocacy, she came and very politely she asked me what I need? I explained her the issue I was passing by and I told her I am in pain right now! I need to get this done because I can’t eat well because this pain is coming as soon I eat and is killing me. She left and 20 minutes later, the same ugly nurse came and told me “do you want to talk with doctor Levy? I take my stuff and follow her. Then when I was in the second floor because they don’t indicate where the elevator was(nothing show any care or concern of my pain discomfort) the doctor came and took with another patient then came to me and told me, what happened, I said “this nurse is give me hard time…” he cut me and told me stop yelling to my team! “I said excuse me? I not yelling to no one” yes you do! “Sir!…” “Yes, you do!”… Sr I just need to get this surgery done! I’m in pain for 3 days straight! Stop yelling!, so I just take my stuff and said “you know what! That’s it! I will not let you touch my body at all! And left. When I was walking out the building to get into my car and drive back to my town 45 minutes again, they sent a security officer behind me, talking and laughing by the radio informing my whereabouts, I just turn and stop and asked him, are you fallowing me?, do you know that is harrassing? I am out of the building already and the parking lot! If you do not stop with it I will lawsuit this fascility for it! He stop looked at me and laughed again then turn around and go away! So I have to call to another place and arrange another emergency appointment with another doctor. That Dr. Salomon Levy Miranda, M.D is really a shame! Not matter he is from my same country and city where I born! Shame!!!

Kelsey Britten I have to share my experience with the PCP offices at the coconut point hospital with Lee Health. We have had WONDERFUL experiences with the pediatricians office - Dr. Drago is an angel and takes amazing care of our son. The front office ladies in the peds office are amazing as well and just love our family so well. However, it has been very upsetting dealing with the PCP offices. I waited over an hour to be seen by a new PCP Dr. Castillo, only to be told that the lady who checked me in improperly did so, and that I would have to be rescheduled. This was extremely hurtful after waiting so long, taking off work for the appointment, needing a babysitter to have the appointment, and to be turned away with no support. They were able to get a virtual appointment scheduled 2 days later. However, with concerns that have shown up via bloodwork following this appointment, I sent a message to my doctor on the mychart with questions - and now it has been 8 days with no response. The PCP offices here truly make you feel like a number rather than a person. Its very disheartening. We will continue visiting the peds offices because theyre amazing, but will look for another doctor elsewhere.
