cassidy maddox I called this business ahead of time, and I was LIED to ! This is not a detox or a treatment center, it’s a state funded psychiatric hospital. I was there four days and not a single meeting, group, nothing. When I told them I wanted to leave it took them over a day to process my discharge. I’m assuming the five star review below mine is from someone who runs a referral service called RightLyfe. He has never been to that detox and is only rating it that high so they will send him patients

frederick wiecking DONT GO THERE. Has gotten much worse in past two years. 1. Bedbugs in rooms. 2. The staff destroyed a brand new pair if shoes..when the discharged me I had to go home barefooted. They said they were going to.replace them..and now they are stalling. Also destroyed a $190.leather wallet. 3. Dont believe their posted schedule groups. They dont have them (well they fo have music most days). It is ONLY a poorly managed Warehouse, with mold, peeling paint, broken drink machines. 4. There are a few stsff (Dr. Steven for example) who are hard working, helpful and care about.the patients.

Tiffany Kelly I was at this hospital for 10 days. I was honestly hesitant due to the negative reviews I seen online, but I went anyway. I was there for post partum depression, anxiety and med stabilization. Dr. MARIE IS AMAZING. She talked to me the day after I got there for an hour. She listened and was compassionate and understanding of my situation. We did get my meds stabilized. I was in ASU. Autumn the social worker is also amazing and she does group once a day. I gave this place 3 stars due to the fact that there isnt any individual therapy and because you can only go outside twice a day in the afternoon. They do have smoke breaks throughout the day, so bring your own cigarettes as they dont have community cigarettes unless someone dinates some. Admissions staff was also amazing. They answered all my questions and were very nice. The food is good but its the same food every week ,depending on what day it is. There is a TV. They have art therapy and recreational therapy, a goals group in the morning and at night an as a peer lead group which I lead 3 times. Some techs are very nice, but some are lazy and some are rude. Milan, Charles, hoodgens and Marie and .Melanie are all great techs. There is a phone to use. You can do laundry as well. No hoodies or anything with strings. Mark in admissions was awesome and tried to make me laugh and answered all my questions. They will pick up from your house and bring you home. Mrs. Dee is cool also. The kitchen staff is nice. We also did music group too. Nik, the patient advocate addressed all my grievances in a timely manner and spoke at length with me about them and changes have been made already while there. Overall its a good place. Its clean. You get snacks too. I would go back if I ever needed too. It was a good experience, just had some kinks like any place. ASU is also for detox so some are there for drugs and some mental health. It does get a bit boring, but if you make some friends, it goes by fast. Its a short term place so people usually stay up to 14 days or less. Oh yeah, no flip flops and bring a sweater. It gets cold and some ear plugs. I gave it 3 stars because I felt it could have had some more groups and counseling and again, some techs werent that great. I would recommend it though. It did help me with my meds and anxiety being away from kids. All is good now. Thank you guys so much. Ill be back if I ever need to go somewhere. Hope this helps clear up some resistance from the bad reviews. I appreciate everything.

MAT BENNA I personally loved it here . For what it was at least . A lot of down time that is a bit boring. I enjoyed the groups. Honeatly expected worse . The doctor I saw was caring , understandable, everything I did not expect. I believe I got the help and tools for a successful life. Its only been a week but I feel good . Met some really nice people that work there. It is what you make it to be , I sought help and received it openly.

Jason Rhoades Over all I am thankful for the hospital. The staff are very friendly. This place helped me when I couldnt find help. Also a formal apology. I learned from another rehab through therapy that I called port saint lucie for help. They didnt call me. And I dont get to tell help how to help me. There was help I needed that I couldnt get but I do belive the staff did everything they could to help me and help me find a place to go. Im not writing this for in case I come back. I womt be back. Not because its a bad place, but after 25 years of therapy and rehabs, what is there left to do? I have the tools. My problems are the problems its the solution Ive been using. Drugs and alchohol. Thats solution doesnt work anymore. So for what its worth. Thank you. J Rhoades sighning off
