Martin Fallenstedt Urgent care is the one and only way to be seen by a physician! For more modest health issues an appointment should be scheduled with your primary physician. This appointment is usually 2 months from the time you call. Then sometime along the line the physician leaves and you have to schedule a new appointment with the new physician. Then the physician has some private issue that prevents him/her from working that day and another new appointment has to be scheduled 2 month down the line. By the time you get to see a physician you are either cured by some other means or dead.

The Stella Project he doctors are ABSOLUTELY amazing, like stitch my finger back together through my nail kind of good, they always treats my little one with respect and dignity….. The two missing stars are because the front desk is nearly impossible to communicate with and extremely rude. We had a mixup with our insurance, and I was trying to explain what was going on and they just were so callous, cold, and argumentative…. The insurance mix up was not on our end btw. I gave them a second chance because the doctors are so incredible. I don’t think I’ll be returning here. It’s super sad because we really really love the doctors.

Karen Hessefort Needed quick care today so we could continue on with our vacation uninterrupted. Stopped here, taking a chance that it would be quick. Excellent service from everyone! The front desk gal was great, along with the nurse tech and Doctor! We were in and out within 1/2 hour! Also they had the antibiotic on site for purchase as well which was a big time saver and no hassle at all! They also accepted our health insurance! Great place!

Mary Maurais DO NOT go here if you are a new patient. The Collier Urgent Care located on US 41 Park Shore. They charged a $500.00 new patient fee on a Workers Comp visit. That is an obscene amount, a total money grab. The injured worker did have his WC Claim paperwork. Workers Comp declined to pay the extortion fee charged. The employee is being billed for the $500.00.

Valeria Camarillo Extremely unprofessional. It’s all very rushed. Doctor was condescending and had no sympathy for my case. She asked if I was ready to close my case. However, due to the gravity of what occurred and for my peace of mind. I wanted to get lab work and exams to ensure my health is fine. Not to just be told verbally I’m fine. They had no prior knowledge of the type of case. So just to be told I was fine verbally was not enough. I am being referred somewhere else. I definitely don’t recommend this place. Better places available with better customer service. Queue the we’re sorry to hear your experience, please reach out to us. Blah blah blah.

Valeria Evs I love exact this place, because of two amazing doctors. Dr Anzalone and Dr Adela de Vera.it’s difficult to see them ASAP, but we’re lucky and they take us the next day. They are very patient and professional. My kids love to se them

Linda Rini Aside from having the best Dr in the world, Dr Biggs. The team @Physicians North is top notch as well. From the receptionist to the nurses and therapists, they went out of their way to make us comfortable and put us at ease with the home instructions. Cant say enough good things!

joe malone After my grandfather had a fall we tried multiple rehabilitation facilities; but did not get good results as he had basically given up trying. With the exceptional staff here that gave him the proper motivation and assistance in exercises he was able to get his mobility and independence back.

Cheyene Andrade Great physical therapists on site but this place is highly unpredictable. They went from telling my mom she would need 3 weeks of inpatient rehab to 10 days now to having a meeting trying to push her out sooner. We had other options that would’ve cost nothing out of pocket to go to but instead chose this center because it was supposed to be the top Center for rehabilitation, now I’m paying out of pocket and mom is getting rushed out when she can’t even get in and out of bed on her own, there has been no request to the insurance for additional therapy after discharge, or for other medical necessities like a hospital bed after she is discharged. All when I could’ve had my mom in a different inpatient rehabilitation for three weeks free of cost. I truly regret bringing my mother here.

Margie Manietta Absolutely horrible treatment by the staff. Left my mother sitting for 4 hours after hip replacement and broken femur. She was left crying in pain and the staff left the room laughing? How atrocious and mean spirited the staff is to patients! Would not recommend to anyone!

Anthony Marchiano I thought the VA at Beaumont was awesome and Naples VA is just as awesome, only a mini version of El Paso. Kind , cordial, empathic, here for us vets. Extremely happy and lucky to be under the care of Dr Whae, and Dr Valenzuela. Often times if you arrive with an attitude thats negative you console yourself by leaving with one. No place and no person is perfect. Naples VA is caring and treats me with dignity and respect. I always thank them before I leave. They dont HAVE to be there, they choose to. Thank you Naples VA.

Sandra Simmons Both of my WWII Veteran Parents have used the Naples VA Clinic for over 30 years. As they aged, my husband and I moved to Naples to take care of them and I have been taking them to the VA clinic for their lab tests and Dr. Visits for 9 years now. I cant say enough good things about the clinic. They have a wonderful, helpful, and dedicated staff, great Doctors, great Nurses, and the new clinic on Goodlette-Frank Rd is so nice. The service is really good and our wonderful Veterans are treated with kindness, dignity and great respect.

Edgar Valdez I have had good experiences when getting healthcare here. They do tele and video appointments. They are very responsive when you call in, I have never had an issue. My primary Doctor, Dr. Kim is awesome. I have not had great experiences in the past with other locations but I trust the Naples location.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness that immediately put both my son and me at ease. They took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, ensuring that I felt informed and comfortable every step of the way. Kara Y Absolute worst ER. We ended up walking out to go to another hospital. Which was 10 thousands times better. They let my 1 year old with a fever of 102 sit there for going on 3 hours. Never once gave her anything to bring down the fever. They called 10 people before us who had come after. By the time we decided to walk out they said they didn’t even have room ready for her and no idea when they would. We have been to many ERs and have NEVER been treated so poorly nor had to wait so long. This is unacceptable. I would not recommend this place to any parent ever.

Steve Hamro III When I first moved to Naples over a decade ago I would visit this clinic when I had any health issues. Over the years Dr. Medina has probably been one of the most competent and nicest doctors I have used. I am sorry some reviews are upset with parking, insurance issues, waiting, other staff, etc but as far as the physician goes, I dont think it gets much better than Dr. Medina.

Scott White My experience was great at Tyrone-Medina. I was seen very quickly and Emily Garrett was wonderful- so caring and very helpful. My Rxs were called in to CVS in a matter of minutes.

Daniel Lopez The best care Ive ever received at an urgent care. Not a long wait, great bedside manner, proper treatment, and an explanation of what to do long-term to resolve the issue. Dr. Maldonado saw me, and he was exceptional.

Gale Burton Dr Medina and Dr Maldonado have literally saved my life 3 times over the years by curing sudden onset pneumonia. PA Calimari also noticed 2 hairline fractured ribs when the X-ray report stated nothing broken. Whenever my GP can’t take me, I will always Only go to Dr Medina’s walk in clinic. I Highly recommend everyone there!

Elizabeth Tutor This vet saved my cat Obsidian after we were referred to them by Blue Pearl. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Madison and all of the staff here. They work hard, quick, and they keep you updated and make sure your pet is in good hands. Thank you all so much for saving our baby and without the emergency surgery we thought she needed! I have also called with a couple questions and everyone at the front desk has been very helpful and kind. Thank you all so much!!!

Katie Krantz I am heartbroken to have to write this review, but I want others to be aware of the unacceptable treatment my almost 11-year-old retired greyhound received here. We rushed him to this emergency clinic because we suspected he had suffered a stroke and possibly an injury. In his fragile state, he needed to be handled with extreme care. Instead, the veterinary technicians dropped him in the parking lot while bringing him inside. This level of negligence is inexcusable, especially for a senior dog in distress. What made this even worse was their response. There was barely an apology, no real acknowledgment of what had happened, and no reassurance that they would take steps to prevent something like this from happening again. In one of the hardest moments of our lives, we were met with indifference instead of compassion. Ultimately, we had to make the devastating decision to euthanize him. We will never know how much additional pain he suffered because of their carelessness, but the fact that it even happened is unacceptable. Pet owners bring their animals to emergency clinics expecting competent and compassionate care. The veterinary technicians here failed to provide either. I would strongly urge others to think twice before trusting them with their beloved pets.

Thomas Coyle Our Golden retriever needed vet care on a Saturday. Our primary vet recommended this hospital. The employees, nurse and doctor were very kind and supportive throughout our visit. Check in and check out were easy. Clear directions were given for follow up care. Overall extremely pleased. Highly recommend this facility.

L D Dr. Madison took amazing care of our cat that experienced heart failure right after the recent hurricane. He saved his life when an unexpected emergency came up. He is extremely knowledgeable and a compassionate vet. His team is also amazing. I am forever grateful for the care my cat received. Thank you for staying open when the power was out everywhere.

My Jsph I have to say, this office Naples and Sante Plus people are very nice. I was there on September 27th for the very first time. I saw the big manager, amazing since of humor, what a pleasant lady driving from Palm Beach county to serve the patients thatssomething. I think thats very, very nice it shows that she cares for the patients. I will definitely refer them to my friends and family. Keep up the good work Sante!

Sheila Maitlen-Godffrey With regards to protocols and procedures set up by our medical system, there are many hoops to jump through to get the services needed for our best care, which can be very trying at times. With that said, it is nice to have a kind staff willing to do what it takes to get that done. Yve (front office) and Solitaire (OM) have bent over backward to get this done for me. They are compassionate and considerate of my needs and a joy to work with. Thank you ladies for your great communication and innerstanding with what you do. Im giving this post a 4 because the company for this practice could do better at refining their systems to make it more efficient and turnkey for the patient as well as the staff. I am giving Yve and Solitaire a 5 Star for their great communication, kindness and efforts to get the job done!

Hector Sanabria Very unprofessional staff. Had an appointment and was told to sign in on pad. Waited an hour and everyone after me was called. Went to ask about my appointment time and I was told that I never signed in when I did. Staff is always loud and just making jokes while working. I mean if they are working. If you are looking for a doctor this is not the place. Every Santeplus medical center is the same no matter where you go. Will be looking for another provider ASAP. If I could give zero stars I would.

Christine Called to see if I could see their endocrinologist. I spoke with a representative who said I needed to see their primary physician (despite me saying I have a PCP already and I have a PPO insurance plan). Due to their protocol, I just went ahead and made an appointment to see their primary doctor. I verified appt time, date, and address prior. Got to the location and was told there was no record of the appointment request. Then was told that I didnt need to see their primary doctor as I already had one. I asked the receptionist how far out the endocrinologist was booked and told me she would call me back with that answer. Never received a call back. There were only two patients in the waiting room so they were not "slammed." Very disappointed with the experience. They need a good office manager to make sure things are running properly.

Tyrone (Malwareshark) I want to share my experience with Sante Plus Medical Center, and its not a positive one. It feels like they dont respect the military at all, and every office Ive been to is a mess. The staff seems unorganized, and no one really knows whats going on. Its just chaos. Honestly, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Will Farrell I unfortunately use call your urgent care two times in the past year. My first experience was December 2023. I had insurance and I was forced to self-pay and it took me four months to get my money back from them. I unfortunately had to use them again in May 20 24 and again was forced to co-pay, even though I had insurance that they accepted. We are now in October 20 24 and I’m still waiting for my money back. They bill my insurance company and kept the insurance companies money as well as mine. I’ve contacted their customer service at least a dozen times and I’m continually being told that it’s in process . The care at Collier urgent care was satisfactory, but their back office and billing needs a lot of improvement.

Kevin Russell I was in need for care for back pain. I had never been there, and I dont live in Naples. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, They took my insurance card, gave me paperwork to fill out. When I went up to turn on the paperwork, they told me the copay amount, I paid. Sat down for no more than 4 minutes and was taken back. I was seen immediately, Dr. R listened to me completely, examined and came up with a few things to alleviate the pain. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and that included a shot. Took me longer to get my medicine from the pharmacy! Great experience, dont want to have to go back, but if I had to, I wouldnt hesitate to go there.

You should stop responding. Regardless, your customers are sending a message about your service and its clear you dont get it. Im not a customer

Sonia R. I went to the ER and the nurse and security personnel were very nice and unfortunately, it was the doctor who left me disappointed. I was upset at my visit and heard her in the hallway mocking me and letting the other nurse know why I was crying. Nobody wants to be in the emergency room, ever, it’s already a stressful and unpleasant enough situation. Hearing the professional in the hallway making light of how someone reacts was very disappointing. For someone who is supposed to treat someone and care for people’s health, a little empathy would go a long way. Even if she felt it just had to be said and she had a point to make, perhaps not in the hallway where everyone can hear would be more appropriate.

TF Farrow I came in late evening this last August.. I was told this was the best ER in the area, I was greeted by security officer who was very friendly, I went in and there was only 1 other person in the waiting area.. the young man who took my information was friendly and informative.. I had not been in the area long and am here temporarily to get and receive specialized care for chronic health issues.. because Ive had major open heart surgery in the past as well as many chronic ongoing confirmed health diagnosis I know that trying to tell or explain this can be confusing and complicated especially since I have memory recall issues.. so I keep a folder with me for emergencies to help assist me when I must give information. The nurse I saw was in for only a moment, she was professional but had no patience to let me answer her questions,and even with my list given for her to list my medications it still was done incorrectly,I told them I was there because of extreme pain from a fall on my back. I was running a temperature close to 100 degrees and my blood pressure was checked and high.. probably more than normal from pain. I never had blood drawn or anything else done until the nurse returned half hour later to say they would do a x-ray to see if anything major showed up.. I do not take pain medicine but the 30mg shot of toradol gave no relief ( I only said I felt no pain relief but chose to not say anything else for fear of being labeled "drug seeker") which I know happens everywhere. I had the Dr. Benjamin Lehr I believe was his name stick his head in for a fast minute to say no breaks shown.. my records say he did a extensive physical of me, but even with memory issues I can say with surety " He did Not".. I could hear the nurses saying it was late and to hurry me up and out.. I maybe I seemed a simple woman, but as a educated past teacher for many years I am not.. I attempted to ask what else I could do, was told as I was escorted out 2 hrs later to just use heat.. or cold?? I have pulmonary fibrosis and coincidentally after seeing my scan results saw it noted no breaks but bilateral dependant atelectasis.. they never commented on it, never addressed it..and for all they know I could had collapsed lungs.. but I guess thats not relevant. The nicest staff was the young man checking me in who came back and chatted with me throughout my visit, and the kind security man.. I am disabled with Medicare.. now 4months later I have a small balance that I get notices on every week..( I live on a tight budget alone) no mercy in that regard...but the facility was clean, and maybe if not for a weekend night my care would had been a bit more through.. I can say this the ER is better than some and most Ive been too.. so rate that as you may.. but care today isnt like it was when I was a younger woman and I think it is lacking most everywhere you go, if your lucky you are there on the right day,if not to bad, its a game of Russian Roulette no matter where you are. To the non- medical staff working that night..thank you for your kindness and empathy.

Kat No wait, came in and ended up having kidney infection, I was diagnosed, treated, and out the door in 3 hours. The charge nurse was rude but my main nurse Aimee and doctor Dunavant were incredible. Super kind and attentive. Quiet ER, not busy, labs came back fast. Thank you guys so much. I would recommend this free standing emergency room for sure.

Jaye I am only giving them a one star because the first time I went the staff was incredibly nice and tried to actually help me. I will never recommend this place to any of my loved ones. I came here twice within the last week. If you are a new mother with complications.. STAY AWAY. I had two ultrasounds done that showed abnormal findings and it wasnt until I went into a different hospital it was shown I was having an ectopic pregnancy which is life threatening. The second time I went to the hospital the doctor was asking me a whole bunch of weird questions and I could tell something was wrong but he did not disclose what was really happening. My friend came to the ER with me and could tell something was wrong. When I was discharged the second time they didnt give any paperwork related to my tests for my pregnancy. When I went to the other ER they were able to see in my previous ultrasound I was having an ectopic pregnancy and this should have been caught. If you can find a different ER go there instead. Seems like they just wanted to gain a check out of me instead of actually helping.

VrDynasty They Hung up in my faceafter canceling my appointment less than 24 hours before and 2 weeks after i set it. Very unprofessional and when i called to reset my appointment, i was pushed back 3 weeks and the operator HUNG UP on me afte 5 minutes of trying to reschedule. Pitiful, very unprofessional and rude.

Kathy Weber My husband is trying to get VA disability and the VA requested records from different places. They received from NCH and the surgical center of Naples but not Physicians. I called and they claim they never got a request . I find that hard to believe. If the VA doesn’t get the records my husband will probably not get his request. So we are driving there on Friday. I hope someone is in the office.

conti ulia (uliawiki) terrible! my father is actually there now, and since 3 days, despite e bad infection, none urologyst showed up to visit him. A general doctor of the hospital just told me my father is risking the life and they are not able to reach an urologyst and actually since 3 days they are just offering generical care... I am so upset! ridiculous! (jtk my father has also a good health insurance). Nurses are super nice ... but where are the doctors and the specialists in this hospital???

Anthony Zientek Your checkout lady Yami is the sweetest, most energetic and nicest person I’ve met! When the doctor gave me crappy news, she brought my spirits up. Even when she collected $400 she still put a smile on my face! I had confusing paperwork from my insurance and needed help to submit my claim. She was so helpful. Karen McGaha Dr. Leach and Caroline took excellent care of me prior to the arrival of Hurricane Milton. They were closing early and still made time for me. They ensured my prescription was called in. They asked a lot of questions, made me feel extremely comfortable and made me feel like a valued patient. I am grateful for their professionalism and concern for my health.

Vickie Leferink Thursday afternoon at work I started feeling really bad. Heavy eyes, runny nose, coughing few and a few aches . I stopped at advanced medical, I had a 5:10 appointment. I arrived at 4:45 knowing I would have to fill out paperwork. I did not leave there until 7:20. They did a Covid and a flu test. Both were negative. I asked her to please give me steroids and send me home so I could go to bed. She wouldn’t do that, she wanted bloodwork, which would be another charge. Then she came back and said we’re not gonna do the blood test I’ll give you Flonase and you can go home. She did not give me anything and they sent me out the door. Friday morning I woke up feeling worse than ever and went up to urgent care on Immokalee Road where they did the same two test found everything negative Gave me a Z-Pak cough medicine with codeine and sent me home. It’s now Friday evening and I feel much better already I will never walk into Advanced Medical Center again.

Karen OConnor Went into urgent care on a Sunday afternoon, with a broken foot. Was seen within 20 min. The entire staff were kind, knowledgeable and efficient.

Have Faith M I go to Advance Medical often. Its very convenient having a Dr available 7 days a week. Staff at front desk is very efficient, wait time varies, Ive waited 5 minutes up to 45... its a walk In clinic, so these things should be expected. Drs are knowledgeable always leave there with a diagnosis and after care.

Brittny Senatus Lehigh Regional Medical Center provided exceptional care for my eight-year-old son during a recent asthmatic episode. From the moment we arrived, the triage nurse Stephen was attentive and quickly assessed his condition. The entire staff acted promptly, ensuring he received the necessary treatment without hesitation. Dr.Glenn even had a tissue basketball shoot out with my son. Cynthia Churchill Had to be admitted to the hospital this week I have never stayed in this Hospital nor have I ever heard good reviews on this Hospital however now that it is under new ownership I had the best care I could ever have prayed for they literally saved my life this week I cannot say enough wonderful things about the care I received from the awesome people in this Hospital I would recommend Lehigh Regional Hospital to everyone that needs to be hospitalized it was clean they were so efficient I cant count the number of times they came to my room without me even asking and when I did ask for something they immediately went and got it and brought it right back to me! I know in my heart from the moment I walked into that emergency room door until they took me to my car after a 4-day stay they saved my life I could not ask for any better medical staff doctors nurses and medical aids.... the absolute best Hospital stay I have ever experienced thank you to all of you who took such wonderful care of me you will never know how much I appreciate it!!!

Dave Henley Supervisor and RN Mrs. K is very understanding and very knowledgeable about medical advice. She seeks to help her patients and make a difference at her job and I appreciate and respect her for that. Many people won’t give me the time of day to hear what I’m saying but he heard me and I appreciated that more then seeing the doctor itself! Erin Coop Front desk staff are atrocious, unprofessional, and extremely disrespectful! They hang up on you repeatedly or place you on hold until you hang up. They do not return calls. Forget asking for a manager because they wont transfer you but will gladly hang up. The business ethics here are trash an im shocked this office is still in business with how they treat any of their patients! Im glad I hadnt wasted any time or money here just trying to get through to someone that wont hang up on you before even getting to schedule your first appointment. As soon as i figure out how to file an official complaint to SW FL regional, I will be!

Julie Smith Doctor does not call back with results of test results. Have left 14 messages over a 3 week period for a refill on a prescription for allergies. Have not gotten a call back or the refill hasn’t been called in. Have called the office several times to speak to a person and no one answers.

Lindsey Conner Absolutely horrible. Called weeks in advance to explain we were coming to the area, and would need an appointment for an adopted newborn. Twice the receptionist asked me to come in for a pre-natal appointment, and I had to explain I am not actually the one pregnant. Then once the baby was born, called to schedule and they said just send over the paperwork and we will get you in Monday or Tuesday. When we called Monday again had to explain the baby was adopted, and told to call back Tuesday once we emailed records. Emailed the records, and was then finally told, no we cant see you since you are not local and would not be continuing care, AND the doctor is out the rest of the week. They left us high and dry on day 5 with a newborn due to a significant incapability by the receptionist to properly do her job, and communicate. I have never dealt with a worse receptionist in my life, at any doctors office. Not only that they said they would call us back after talking to the doctor, they did not. Clearly they do not care for patients unless they can make them continued money.

Frank Vina Since I moved to Naples in 2015 Dr. Badra has been my childrens pediatrician. I am very happy with the excellent work that she does with them. I am also impressed with her medical knowledge and the accuracy of her diagnoses when they have been ill. Easy to get same day appointment when they are sick. Highly recommended.

Lindsey Nesmith Love Dr. Badra. Our children have seen her for over a decade and she has never steered us in the wrong direction. Very receptive, kind and invested in our kids wellbeing. The office staff ALWAYS gets us in same day when the kids need to be seen.

Natalie Epperson I have been to several doctor office and this is the first one that made it mandatory to have a CHILD fill out forms without a parents consent!!!!! I think it’s a parent choice as to what “test” or exams are being preformed and if your want the freedom to choose DO NOT go here!!!!

Jory Holmes I had an appointment today at Physicians Regional at Founders Square. This is a little over 30- minute drive from my home. I arrived to find that there was no electricity in the building. I understand that this is not their fault, but employees were in there and when I asked why someone didnt call or text me saying that I wouldnt have an appointment today I was told "We dont have any electricity." Whenever we have had a power outage I still have been able to make phone calls. So I drove a total of 60 plus minutes today to see no doctor and get no logical explanation as to why I was not notified ahead of time. I dont know, does this seem right to you?

Alvin Stewart Veterans should not and should avoid using this medical offices for service. I was referred to one of their offices for urology under Dr. Benjamin Storey and there offices provide the wrong address. When I attempted to call them for the correct address no one pick up the phone and arrived 20 mins late. Receptionist was very rude and refused to reschedule or provide office note to be reimbursed for travel.

Tamara Stuart Been trying to get a colonoscopy scheduled for 2 months. Not 1 phone call back. I have called at least 7 times to get it scheduled. All they say is someone from scheduling will call me back. Worst customer service ever!!!!

Renate Eichelberger My experience could not have been better! I arrived Saturday around 10am with head & lung issues from a probable upper respiratory infection. Every person from the receptionist to the Physician Assistant were friendly, personable & professional. The Nurse, Felix and the PA, Nicole, quickly diagnosed my infection, provided me with prescriptions and we were out of the building within 45 minutes.

Tom & Chrissy Kinman My wife and I were sick after flying last week so we stopped in Oasis Fort Myers. The front desk was polite and efficient and the Dr Jose was friendly and helpful and sent us home with a script for meds. Thanks!

Israel Lopez I was in from out of town and came in for a skin issue. The front desk person was very efficient and polite to get me signed in. The nurse Cathy was very friendly. Dr. Langley was also very nice and thorough. He even gave me a follow up call a few days later to see if the condition had improved which is a first for me. All were experienced and helpful. Easy 5 stars

Carla Kluch We visited the Oasis Urgent Care in Fort Myers. Everybody was so friendly ! They made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. My son was able to be seen quickly and get what he needed to start feeling better. We will definitely recommend this urgent care to family and friends.

Linda Molnar We received excellent care from Jose Almanzar and staff. The office fit my husband and I in for appointments within a couple hours of my call. Jose was thorough and explained everthing in detail. We were more than pleased with our visit today. We would revisit this location if the need arose !

Bob Bynum I am experiencing mixed emotions while writing this review. I don’t want to sound mean or vindictive with my comments but I’m at the point where something needs to be done. I was admitted as a possible stroke victim. After spending 9 hours in the ER without much information on my situation. I grew restless and disturbed that none was forthcoming. The Hospital staff were all very professional. Doctors, nurses, techs, transportation, food service and housekeeping. Still, something was missing. When I finally got to my room things were better. The staff continued to be most professional. My only complaint at this point is it was now 10 PM and I had not been offered anything to eat or drink. I did ask for and received a cold glass of water. The next day I started having tests conducted. It wasn’t till after several tests, hours and lunch that I met two of my Doctors who discussed with me my situation and a plan of sorts. I was then told I might (would ) need to spend another night in the facility. These Doctors totally Impressed me. I was clear from the conversation they had both totally studied my chart. Their questions were directed at a better under standing of MY situation. Later on I met the Neurologist who was working my case and she too was throughly involved and knowledgeable. It was like they had been studying me all my life. I closed night two out at 9 or 10 o’clock with a late test. Went back to my room and tried to sleep. Day three began With optimism of gettin out. At about 11 am a doctor stopped by. He advised me that one of my tests done yesterday was not yet “read”. At about 1 PM I called the desk and asked to speak or relay a message to DR Vina. The desk told me that was impossible. I asked for an update on my plan from my DR. I was told he was off today. I had to drag the information out of the person that he had be replaced today by Dr Pino. I indicated to the desk person that I needed some information on my situation and I felt I like I was being held without information. She told me that I was free to go and they held no one “ hostage. “ This disturbed me and I disputed her claim. And then, right at the Pinnacle of my anger my Neurologist and her Resident entered the room. They briefed me on the situation and informed me on what was still lacking. I discussed with them MY problem. And my problem as a patient is the screwed up system of information between patient and doctor and the currency of the situation. Also, the crazy way questions are answered by the Red button responders at the nursing station. To be told that I was not being held hostage is not the right choice of words to tell the patient or CUSTOMER. YOU GUYS GET FIVE STARS IN PATIENT CARE BUT A MINUS ZERO IN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE CUSTOMER (patient). Really, this hospital needs help keeping people informed during the transit of the health care system.

Bonnie Rushing I have only seen Dr Dounchis. He is very good. My issue is with the staff. It is virtually impossible to get any response to a call for help. I recently needed help (really needed it) for an injury for which I saw Dounchis just before he left for holiday. The doctor taking his call did not return my call, Dounchis’ nurse did not return call, staff did not return my call. I left message for all three, with no help forthcoming. I had to go to Millenium walk-in clinic to be seen. The surgeons may be good, but if a patient cannot get the office to call when he/she has genuine issue, it does not do the patient much good.
