Veronica Miller Choosing a new doctor is so stressful, but we made the right choice! I am so grateful for Dr. Elizabeth Looney Di and her team! She spent quality time with my husband and me, answering questions and explaining medications. She is reasonable and not quick to push expensive or unnecessary tests, while at the same time being very transparent about the risks versus benefits. We both left feeling heard, which says a lot when youre leaving a doctors office!

Diane Parker Very good care from Dr. Di. I had to find a new primary care doctor and chose this facility because it is close to my home. Very happy I did. I hope that she doesn’t go anywhere for a long long time.
5 /5
Brittney I just want to say how amazing Dr. Elizabeth Di is. I have never had such a kind and caring primary doctor before. She truly cares and intently listens to my medical concerns without judgement or interruption. The office is very clean and updated and in a nice plaza. The staff have all been incredibly friendly. I had to get a Pap smear today which is something I’m so terrified to do, and Dr.Di made me feel so comfortable and made sure to take her time and constantly asked if I was ok during the examination. I recommend anyone in the area looking for a female doctor to check her out!

Chase Guerra Dr. Di and Dr. Michaels are 2 of the kindest, knowledgeable and helpful primary care doctors I have ever met. I cannot recommend this office enough.
5 /5
Victoria Brown For the first time in over 15 years we finally have a PCP that knows what they are doing! Dr Michaels is not only compassionate, empathetic, and attentive, but he is knowledgeable and encourages his patients to advocate for themselves and be an integral part of their healthcare team rather than just lecturing and chastising. Dr Michaels is a GREAT listener, and you can tell he has a genuine desire to provide great patient CARE, not just practice medicine. The whole team goes above and beyond to try their very best to work patients into the schedule even when they are busy, or to help remotely. Refills are done promptly, as are any questions that need to be answered. We couldn’t be any happier with the care we receive at this office.

Tracy Lane I have loved the staff and care at the fhcp pharmacy until today. I lost my insurance and tried to get my prescription and pay out of pocket for it. Even with refills remaining, I was told they could not fill my prescription at all because my insurance was canceled. I just switched jobs and knew I would have 2 months without coverage. I have paid cash for prescriptions many times throughout my life. Some because I didnt want to use the brand insurance preferred, others when changing jobs. I never in my wildest dreams thought a company that is supposed to care about your medical wellbeing would refuse to fill your prescription with a valid prescription in file.

Martha Round I have always thought that my needs are met well with any of the medical staff. My only com0laint today was the long wait until I was seen. My appt was at 11:20 but I was not called in for my procedure until 12:15. I know that sometimes things can back up, but this was very unusual

Milan Prastalo Dr. Elliot was very interested in mine and my wifes well being...shouldnt all the Dr. be? In our previous experiences definitely not. Dr. Elliot took time to explain, answer questions, our concerns and all without the fuss and friendly demeanor & professionalism. We like her immensely and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Trying to schedule a new patient annual physical and to complete a form from my eye specialist prior to cataract surgery... it was a complete waste of time. I was told that I needed to go back to the eye specialist that referred me, completely confused I gave up and schedule with another provider. I wish yall much better outcome with this practice.

Tiffany Gibbs I absolutely love the doctor I see every month but the rest of the staff seem to be incompetent. Half the time my calls and texts are not returned until Ive sent multiple messages. I seem to always have a hard time getting my medications sent in when they say they will. If it wasnt for the doctor I see i would of definitely found another office.

Dr. Jodie Calain

Address: 130 Health Park Blvd, St. Augustine, FL 32086

(3) Reviews Dr. Jodie Calain:

Katie The unprofessionalism I experienced by this Dr. Calain and Flagler Family Medicine is truly despicable. If you are considering her, please do not disregard her unfavorable reviews on various sites. I was "released" as a patient from a phone conversation with her nurse/assistant where I contested their internal prior authorization office policy. I didn’t elevate my voice, use profanity, or demonstrate any egregious behavior warranting such a punitive outcome. I opposed requiring an in person appointment when Aetna would accept a verbal prior authorization on a medication I had only taken for 2 months. I advocated for myself to avoid an unnecessary fee & not delay medication by requesting an exception to this obvious, revenue seeking policy. The conclusion was to allow the exception considering the circumstances. Lacking any basic decency or communication skills she, nor her assistant informed me of the abrupt “release” or the prior authorization not being called in after being informed it would be. My portal access was disabled and it took me calling days later & being bounced around until someone reluctantly informed me I was no longer a patient due to “my behavior” with the nurse/assistant. A directive straight from Dr. Calain, herself they said. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Thankfully, I had witnesses who heard this “behavior” and affirmed my sanity. This is an abuse of authority as a physician as I have no recourse to contest or a due process. Her rash and unfounded decision has now caused me inconvenience, delay in care, and unnecessary side effects. If a physician can subjectively dismiss patients, which is within their right to do, but without any regard for patient care and for something as bias, infantile, and subjective as a he said/she said conversation, I’m fearful of what else they can do.

Mary Calain Dr Calain has been treating my high blood pressure for 6 yrs. It is stable as is my cholesterol. When I had Pneumonia, shingles and covid (not at the same time) She quickly prescribed the necessary medications and treatments that made theses less serious .
5 /5
Leigh Slayden Calain, my first Florida doctor, is very thorough, with great bedside manner, and she treats patients as intelligent people. I appreciate her thorough workup as a new patient—approaching retirement with no meds, very unusual, she checked for undiagnosed conditions. She personally called me with test results, too—how rare is that! Several neighbors have told me the same. I highly recommend her.

Afra Chaudhri Dr. Yasin and staff are very pleasant with me and my kids. I have been going there for 16 years and she is my pediatrician for all my kids. I love it here. I never have trouble getting ASAP appointments. They always fit me in whenever theres an emergency. Dr. Yasin is always so nice and sweet and caring when dealing with kids. She makes them feel at ease. My kids are really comfortable with her. Her staff is super friendly and smiling at all times. I love the fact that office makes me and my kids feel at home. It doesnt feel like a doctors office which comforts my kids.

Christina Gibbs Danielle at Pediatrics of St. Augustine is fantastic. She knows me and my family when we come in. She is personable amd knows the ins and outs of the office. The staff is caring and compassionate, and the nursing assistants and P.A. take their time to hear us out. The doctor cares so much and is very knowledgeable and kind. Great place to be for school vaccines, physicals, and health care for your growing child.

Kim Pagán My kids have been going to Dr yasin since they were babies. She is great! She is so great that they don’t even take my insurance anymore and I still come and pay out of pocket every time now. Review isn’t against her. But office staff/cleanliness/effectiveness/professionalism has really gone downhill. Show up with 2 cars in parking lot and still waiting 2 hours now to be seen. That’s insane! It has been like this over the last yr. Waiting 1 1/2 to 2 hrs for an APPOINTMENT is crazy. Can hear them openly complaining about patients while waiting to be called. Talking about what’s going on with each patient out loud, which is against hippa to be discussing that loudly for all to hear. Eating and chewing in the presence of patients. Ladies seem to be confused on what they are doing here and too busy running around like they need adderall (Danielle). Sweet but loud, obnoxious and extremely unprofessional. Everything cannot be “beautiful” as she says. I will be looking for another office. This has gone on for too long. This unprofessionalism is at its highest. Dr yasin desperately needs new office help.

UF Health Primary Care - Palencia

(37) Reviews UF Health Primary Care - Palencia:

Diana Welden I started as a new patient several months ago, and really enjoyed my visit with Dr Tran. She is thorough and listens to concerns. However, my review is geared towards the Flagler Primary Care facility as a whole. Since my initial visit, I was seen for a shoulder issue. Dr Tran ordered an xray and mri for Flagler Imaging and it was supposed to be sent to them directly. After at least 3 follow up phone calls back and forth, (because the imaging center never received the order) it was finally sent to Flagler Imaging. After my x-ray, I received no follow up from UF Health Primary Care. I called the office, and left three voicemails on Dr Trans testing results line (I waited 48 hours in between as requested). Finally, after no follow up, I stopped by the office. At that point, they still had not read my x-ray (it had been at least a week). If they are busy, I understand but it only takes a minute to call be back for an update. I waited one more day for them to finally call back with xray results, and then they ordered the MRI. After the mri results were given to me, Dr Tran suggested a 2nd mri for a different look. She said she would place the request, and I would hear from someone in a few days. Its now been two weeks and I have not received one phone call from UF Health Primary Care OR Flagler Imaging. In the meantime, I went ahead and made and appointment at JOI. They read my initial results and set me up with a treatment plan same day. In short, I wasted a lot of time with the primary care. Dr Tran seems like a great doctor, but the facility is very lacking with its communication and follow up. Good luck to anyone that visits and expects thorough follow up. This seems to be a consistent problem if you read the negative reviews.

Josie H We take our sons to see Dr Tawes and we REALLY like him! However, its impossible to make an appointment to see him. Ive been calling and leaving messages for days and no one will even call me back. Also, the receptionist was one of the rudest people I have ever had to interact with. What do I have to do to get a call back? UPDATE: Im changing my review to 5 stars. The rude receptionist no longer works there, and Dr. Tawes is simply the BEST! Were so fortunate to have found him.

Shahriza Greco The staff at this location are so polite , friendly, and helpful. Dr. Tran is soooo personable. She is an empathetic listener and provides educational feedback for each concern. She spent quality time with me, and didnt rush through my visit. I can see why she was highly suggested to me.

Shari Prior Dr Tawes is amazing! Before the receptionist never answered calls. So glad you have someone now that does! Would of liked to of been set up on telehealth as the doctor told me she would do, but instead she directed me to the portal I just got set up yesterday. Other than that it was a much better experience

Lurch _ They overbook. As you walk in, you encounter a sign stating that “if you are more than 15 min after your scheduled appointment, you will need to reschedule”… however, when they or the doctors are running over 1.5 hours behind, you are just expected to sit and wait your turn. The least the receptionists can do is call the clients with appointments to inform them of the delay or reschedule. The clients/patients time is just as important and valuable as the doctor’s time. Poor service at best. Seek another provider.

Nancy Fenton Update…..so one week later & no one has called me. They simply assumed what I needed & sent my referral to same rheumatologist that Dr. Usman referred me to at my last visit on 10/8. I tried to contact them several times to tell them that I wanted the referral sent to another doctor in St. Augustine ( there was another reason I tried to contact them, but gave up on that one.). Sadly the doctors office they sent it to last week had to send back to Dr. Usmans office & tell them what I wanted. To my knowledge, that has not been done. Usman is a wonderful doc, unfortunately his office staff is ruining his reputation. Immediate changes are mandatory for the success of this practice!

Kathy LeGoux 5 days of texting and leaving messages without one response, not even a simple yes or no. When the Dr. Did my lung test and surgeries they were attentive. Now, following up on a test I took, not so much.

Ray Bernal They are in the middle of revamping the office and its finally working as it should. Calls are being answered in a timely manner and the staff genuinely cares about the patients. The new office manager, Anna, has hired several staff members which has changed the entire dynamics of the team. Its nice walking in to smiles and good vibes. Was greeted and assisted with smiles and a great attitude by Tabitha, one of the medical assistants. Nice change!!

Lindsay Fantauzzi I have been a patient of Pulmonary Associates for a long time and have seen several changes in management since Jim. I recently had the pleasure of personally speaking with the office manager, Anna. She is very aware of the phone problems that have been going on for several years and is actively working on getting the right staff in place to address this issue. I have already seen a drastic change with the nice smiles and new faces in the office. Anna has gone above and beyond by giving me her personal number and she has always responded within 24 hours. She is kind and dedicated to restoring this clinic. I’m so glad they finally hired a manager who knows what she is doing. The improvements are evident and much appreciated.

Christina C I got a new insurance company & found Dr. Connor’s office accepted it. I called & was able to get an appointment the next week. My first time going to the office was great, it was easy to find & there was plenty of parking available. Inside looked nice & clean. The front desk staff was very nice & easy to speak with. There was very little wait from the time I finished my paperwork to when they called me back. The MA that took my vitals & info was very sweet. I saw Christy the nurse practitioner & she was very nice, asked lots of questions & made sure I understood everything & before ending the appointment she made a point to ask if there was any other concerns I had. Great first impression of this office from beginning to end! I left feeling very happy & comfortable that I’m in good hands with my health concerns.

Hope Sharpe I have been a patient of Dr Connors office for 27 years. Last year I got an appt with Pamela Price, and she was very thorough with me, making sure all my issues were addressed. She has the best bedside manner and it seems like she truly cares about my health. Today I went back to see her and got my son established as a patient there, too. Pamela Price again took great care of us, heard our concerns, and came up with a plan of care to get certain things taken care of quickly. She is wonderful, and I enjoy her being with Dr Connor.

I feel very fortunate to have found Dr.Connor through Flagler Hospital. The kindness I have received from the nurses the front staff and the doctors is truly amazing. Of course my favorite is Dr.Connor. When the doctors explains about my medical problems they explain it to me so I can understand what is wrong. Not medical jumbo. Praying you will never retire. Charity Dr Clonch is an awesome diagnostician. She has figured out what was wrong several times when it was something obscure like Lupus or something like that. I’m so grateful for her and her care. I would highly recommend her and her fantastic care. Her nurse, Stacy is amazing and so caring too. Love them both.

oberiniglass This doctor is terrible and so is her rude nurse. If you make an appointment should you have to wait 2 hours to be seen? Today I went to pick up prescriptions at the pharmacy, Clonch called them and cancelled them without giving a reason and NEVER contacted me. So unprofessional. Also, if you urgently need test results and are promised a call but literally never hear from this office again dont be surprised. I now have to go to urgent care in order to receive health care services until we find a new doctor.
1 /5
Jer Dunning Frankly I am puzzled by the negative reviews. I have found Dr. Clonch and her nurse very professional and nice. The problem is the fact that the group has too many doctors for the size of the support staff. The front desk is always busy and doesn’t have the time to chat or be friendly. If you want a doctor with a warn bedside manner, then don’t go to Dr. Clonch. If you want a through doctor who cares but focuses more on your illness than idle chit chat, Dr. Clonch is an excellent choice.

LJ F This “doctor” deserves NO stars for the care she gave my mother which was nil!!!! My mom ended up in the Hospital right there where this doctor practices and still no response she didn’t come check on her NOTHING!! If you are depending on this doctor for your care I suggest you find another doctor NOW before it’s too late like it was for my mother whom passed last Sunday and guess what and still NO response not even a return call to my fathers frantic calls to their SILLY vmail...my son tried to also get a return call to get my mother some nutrition for her failing body and was put on hold for 30 minutes then was put to vmail and they still haven’t called him back and my mom is fine now... Her diagnostic skills in my case have been exact and the treatment regimen has been tailored to my particular situation. She provides encouragement, handles the insurance claims very efficiently and follows up when appropriate.

I go in a few feet and noticed a person sitting there with a green/blue scrubs. Not sure what dept she’s from but she looked in her mid 50s and looked Spanish.. I asked her where room 14 was and it looked like she was on her phone talking because she said “hold on” to someone. I didn’t know you can be on your phone. Also when coming out, going back into the ED lobby, I passed through the same area and I can hear Spanish music blasting. I don’t think that’s professional. I see that’s there’s no one in that area but I still think it’s unprofessional to play music loud. I Managed to take pictures of the area and worker that was on her phone and playing music really loud. I wasn’t sure what area she was in.. but as I was leaving, I managed to get these photos

Felt much safer here than the last time I was there. I had to have emergency care a few months ago , refused to go here. I went to the ER from St. Vincents on 210. They are awesome. UF is getting there!

Joe Dephilips Sorry I had to give a 1 star really deserved nothing. Worst experience I have ever had. Had surgery on 10/22 started having breathing issues by Friday. My DR/ Surgeon told me to go to ER to rule out an embolism. Went to UF signed in at which point they sent me to triage. They took my vitals and I informed them of surgery 2 days prior, breathing issues and DR’s concern of an embolism. They acknowledged all of it and then wheeled me out to the waiting room where I sat for 3 hours and never saw another person again. At that point I finally left and went to Baptist South. UF was calling people in order by the time they came instead of severity of peoples issues.

A. D. Wolfe I was touring with a band through St Augustine and experience some pretty aggressive pain in my side. I went to get the pain checked out at Flagler ER and was admitted quickly, they got to work fast, did some imaging, and eventually landed on a kidney stone. They had me in and out in an extremely reasonable amount of time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, I absolutely recommend it.

Lynette Walther Suffering from extreme pain and gross facial swelling from having a tooth removed four days prior, I was unable to reach anyone at my dentists office, it being a holiday weekend. Rx pain killers and antibiotics I was taking had no effect. So we went to the ER, BUT rather than telling me right away they did not deal with dental issues (as if my mouth was not part of my body!), I waited nearly three hours, never seeing any physician — only a couple nurses who came in to get my details and a scheduling person and a payment collector who asked for a $100-co-payment. Eventually the scheduling person told me there was nothing they could do other than prescribing a pain killer and antibiotics — which I already told them I was using and which did not help. So we left. But as we walked out, a person at the admitting desk yelled out "GOOD LUCK!" And THAT basically was all I got out of spending three hours there.

otter van pööl Went there for bad arrhythmia. I was told they worked with my insurance company and everything was good. He seemed nice, told me I should not drink coffee but needed blood work to see what was wrong. I was sent to get blood work somewhere else because they could not do that there. He set up my return appointment 2 weeks later. When I returned I told him I was getting dizzy and a headache that would not go away. I had a headache for a week straight. He told me my blood work looks fine so everything is okay... He then told me he will set up another appointment in 6 months to see how Im doing. He left, he left the room telling the nurse to set up a 6-month appointment for me. I would not recommend this doctor I dont think he paid attention to me, when I asked for the patient summary, there were notes on there we never talked about. The best part of it they were not in network so now Im getting charged over $600 for someone that didnt do anything. The nurse at the front window was polite and caring.

dave crist We tried to make a simple travel exam appointment which he advertised on his website. We tried to show them the form we needed signed and they told us they would call us tomorrow. The next day they called and said they would get us a new patient appointment. When we asked about getting our travel forms signed she said she wasn’t sure if he could sign those. We explained again that that’s the whole purpose of us going there and she said we would have to drop the form off again as they had no email! And first we’d need a new patient appointment with no guarantee if the doctor would sign our forms or not! Avoid this place!!! The doctor might be good but the ladies working the front desk are awful!!!!

Susan Whidden Hambrick A family member has had some unfortunate issues with the Jr. Doc! due to a surgery on a broken wrist! his carelessness as well as another member of this practice is just sickening! She is back in the hospital with a possible infection! Pin is sticking out of her arm, We are still waiting to see the Dr.s of this practice! Not feeling like she is a priority at all. Nor, never was as the Dr. That performed the surgery was 2 hours late! And ignored the other broke wrist!

Leonor Conzevoy One of the worst, if not "The Worst" experience of my adult life with a doctor whos supposed to be an expert on pain management. I went for an epidural shot. This doctor never took the time to explain to me how was she going to. proceed i.e. with or without sedation. All the instructions I got prior to the procedure was ONE page dealing with fasting and medications. Only after I walked in the room where it happened, I realized that I was going to be awake all throughout the procedure. At some point I started feeling unwell...quire unwell. It was a very uncomfortable situation, to say the least. While I was being assisted this doctor had the audacity to say to me: "You should have told me..." I still dont know what exactly is it that she expected me to tell her, that I was going to faint that morning? Or perhaps that my expectations were on a par with prior instances where I was informed of all the details concerning the procedure? Finally, when I recovered sufficiently to have a semi coherent conversation with the doctor, I informed her that I had never had an epidural without sedation, she mumbled something to the effect that for that she had to do it at a day surgery center. Was that an inconvenience? Things didnt get much better in the recovery room. While being monitored for my vitals, I asked the nurse for something to drink. She came back with the tinniest of plastic cups with some room temperature, flat 7-Up. After that horrific episode, one would expect a follow-up phone call from the office the next day to check on me. NONE came!! This doctor and her staff get a ZERO on bedside manners. In the many years that Ive been treated for my chronic back problems, never have I experienced such an inadequate, rough treatment by any physician. I wish I could give her a zero star.

Barbara Day If I could give her a minus star I would. When I finally left, the new doctor I found is SO much better that it makes her AND her staff look even worse than I originally thought. My records were so full of inaccuracies the doctor I go to now even stopped trying to read through them!! They included statements like I had a family history of Parkinsons diseases...???? Not a place where I checked off, a statement by the doctor. oh well. When I needed help from pain, all they could say was "go to ER", knowing full well ER would not treat anyone under the care of pain management. I never saw the doctor, and every time I went, I saw a different PA, and they never knew what was going on. I needed a pain patch, and they didnt even try to get it approved for me. The new doctor?? Got something approved ASAP !! No problem. BECAUSE HE CARES. Dr. Stanescu and her staff DO NOT CARE !!!! She gave me injections that did NOT work... and did NOT care. I had endless migraines, suggested nothing, didnt care, but thank GOD my new doctor gave me injections in my neck that worked like a miracle - no migraines! Now if Dr. Stanescu knew her stuff, she should have done that, rather than let me suffer for months!! I wouldnt send my dog to her.

Rosie117 Halo I had a terrible experience at this orthopedic clinic. I was there for a follow up appointment but the night before I injured my foot. I told them that it was swollen, bruised and painful. The receptionist said sorry we can’t see you for that. That’s a different doctor so I did go in to see my doctor to follow up on my hip which was fine. I had been discharged from physical therapy and I told him about my foot and he told me that he did not do feet I am so disappointed with the way that I was treated here. Nobody seemed to care about the fact that I had a painful, swollen, bruised foot. They did have plenty of excuses, though as to why the doctor could not see my foot. In fact, the next day, I went to my podiatrist and they x-rayed my foot and it is indeed broken. I felt like there was a lack of empathy in the office at UF orthopedic specialist. It’s hard for me to believe that any doctor that graduated from medical school and specializing in orthopedic medicine could not look at a foot and perhaps prescribe an x-ray and some guidance. Instead, I got sent on my way. I hobbled out of the building and I was told good luck with your foot. Luckily, I am able to advocate for myself and I found another provider, but I will never ever go back to UF Orthopedic Specialists. I felt like the office did not care about me as a person and lack empathy for me. These are not the type of providers that I could develop a relationship with and trust for my care. Next time I will go to Southeast orthopedics. I cannot believe that I have a fractured foot and I could not get the doctor at UF orthopedic specialist to even visualize it.

John K Individuals at Flagler Health+ Orthopedic Specialists are wonderful! Two weeks ago I needed my knee drained from fluid build up - I could not wait for my appointment the following week due to the pain. I went to the St. Augustine office when they opened hoping to get an "emergency" appointment. While no provider was available at this office (I usually see the awesome Patrick), front desk staff willingly called the Palm Coast office who got me an appointment 1.5 hours later that day! Upon arrival, Christine quickly checked me in and Jennifer, Jessica, and, especially, Shelby were excellent! I am pleased with the care I received since beginning with the practice seeing Patrick (PA) at St. Augustine, Dr. Schwarzmann, and Shelby (PA) at Palm Coast are patient and reassuring.

Yanire Today l came in with my Mother who is 83 years old for an appointment we’ve had over two weeks in the St Augustine office. She has been feeling pain in her right shoulder for more than two weeks. From the moment we arrived at the office, it was an uncomfortable experience. I explained about my mother’s condition which impedes her from signing her own documents (tremors) and they were giving me a hard time for signing for her although she was next to me and she attempted to sign it and they could plainly see she was incapable of doing so. They then had me fill out the paperwork 3 times, during which the nurse who took us back and was supposed to take her vitals, was very rude to me. After all of this, she said that my mother couldn’t be seen today by the dr and that l would need to reschedule the appointment, which was absolutely senseless as I was not a walk in and, indeed, had an appointment. l had to ask for the manager at this point, and was finally seen. Really uncomfortable and difficult time at this office, especially with that nurse who was nasty, not good communication for someone dealing with the public.
