Kelly Klein From the time my husband and I arrived at triage to holding our newborn baby on my chest, about an hour and a half elapsed. That in mind, things progressed rather quickly for us and at times, it was a challenge to stay present. Luckily, that wasn’t too much of an issue because of how “on top of it” the staff at Baby Place was from start to finish. The triage nurses were efficient and encouraging, the labor and delivery nurses were so kind, professional and supportive and made sure I was able to fulfill my birth plan in its entirety. The mom baby nurses were attentive and engaging and took really good care of us and our baby. The lactation consultants were also so insightful and provided me with so many helpful tips to ensure that my goal of breastfeeding exclusively will be possible and so far, my breastfeeding experience has been awesome. We are home now and I feel nothing but satisfaction and appreciation when I reflect on my birth experience. If / when we decide to have a second child, there is no doubt in my mind that we will choose Baby Place again.

Amanda Rhea I can not say enough ANAZING things about this hospital. They go out of their way to make every visit comfortable for your children and reassuring for the parents. They are very considerate of all the possible needs of your young child and care deeply about ensuring their safety and making sure that they feel safe and part of the process rather than just making decisions for them without any care or concern for their desires or needs. They try to give options whenever possible to my daughter rather than asking me what I prefer because she is the patient after all not I. Don’t get me wrong I always have the ability to override but it’s wonderful having her be able to make decisions after so much of her life has been taken out of her control. This place is EXCEPTIONAL from the parking staff janitors, and the Doctors themselves. Thank you for going above and beyond always

Kate Gogolen I wish I could leave a 5 star review, as I did several years ago. When my son was five, he was diagnosed with a kidney disease, and we turned to John Hopkins Hospital for treatment. The doctors, nurses and staff were amazing - we loved them all. Thanks to their care, my son went into remission, and we didnt need to return.
Fast forward 12 years, and my began experiencing issues again. Naturally, I called to make an appointment, expecting the same quality of care. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different. The receptionist was incredibly rude. She asked if my son was a new patient, and I explained that he had been seen 12 years ago, unsure if that would considered "new". I provided all of our information, yet she insisted that my son had never been to their facility. I know where my son had his biopsy and received treatment - his pediatrician even fax over documentation from their office. Despite this, she continued to argue with me.
Wanting the best care for my son, I proceeded with scheduling an appointment anyway. The day of our visit, we were unexpectedly delayed be a funeral procession in front of our local VA hospital. This took some time, as the officer did not immediately direct traffic after the procession had passed. AS a result, we arrive about 10 minutes late.
When we checked in, we were once again told my son was a new patient and needed to complete all the paperwork. I began filling it out, only to have a nurse come out and announce that the doctor would not see us and has finished her day. I explained our delay, which was entirely beyond our control, but it didnt matter. their solutions? the next available appointment was two months away.
I completely understand policies regarding lateness, but in this case, it was unavoidable. If a doctor lacks the understanding and compassion to accommodate such circumstances, I dont want them treating my child anyway. Combined with the unprofessional and dismissive front office staff, I can confidently say I will return or recommend this facility for nephrology. My sons health is my priority, and i have no problem traveling elsewhere to ensure he gets the care he deserves. If is also very unfortunate that in the same week we also found his has a heart condition. It would have been great to have gone to John Hopkins for both as they are in the same facility.

Mindi Paxiao The best hospital and staff in the U.S.!! We travel all the way from California to see Dr. Kay’s because he saved our son’s life. Our daughter absolutely loves R.J.’s kids activity center. The cafeteria is delish, valet staff are so nice and welcoming!! We love everyone at JHACH and are so thankful.
