Douglas Frantzen I cant speak to his acumen as a surgeon as we never got that far, but my review is related to my experience across 3 visits with him. Im not one to normally write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case, as I had to walk out of my appointment with him based on his rudeness and unprofessionalism. In 2 out of my 3 visits to him, he was dismissive and rude. Normally, I can overlook personality challenges if they are a good doctor, but I would call that into question here. This doctor isnt diagnostic or academic. He basically has a very tight playbook, and if you fall into a exact specific area that is black and white, then maybe he can help you. Hes not interested in hearing about your symptoms if they dont fall into the small area of understanding he has. If you are not an easy candidate for surgery, he will not give you advice or any other form of next step. Its basically "good luck to you". My first visit with him, he basically told me what I was experiencing wasnt real. I pressed for further testing since my imaging already shows 2 herniated discs among other cervical problems, and he obliged and ordered me a nerve conduction study. That study showed radiculopathy in the areas of herniated discs, so he then changed his tune and starting discussing surgical options with me. I wanted to exhaust all conservative options first, so I delayed further conversation about surgery, then came back several months later after I had tried all remaining conservative options and taken even more tests. In that visit, he was frustrated that I had gotten opinions of other doctors and accused me of "doctor shopping". Mind you, I dont take pain medications. Ive refused them during my 15 months of pain, and I was not pushing for surgery. In fact, I was attempting all conversative treatments until surgery was a last resort. This guys ego doesnt allow him to listen, be empathetic, or understand your situation.

Kent Leighty Finding a qualified surgeon who will listen and respond to your immediate needs is difficult in todays medical environment I recently had a very serious issue which others seemed to ignore but after meeting with Dr Pradhan he took immediate action preventing further damage to my spine. He is a true professional who has a great concern for his patients- is a excellent surgeon and he is very concerned about your post care. I am well on my way to a positive recovery thanks to Dr Pradhan and his team. If you are truly looking for a well qualified and professional neurosurgeon then I would reach out to Dr Pradhan as you will get excellent results and receive tremendous care. His PA is also phenomenal and cannot say enough about her care for me.

C T One surgeon said I’d never surf again and would have trouble picking up my kids. Dr. Pradhan, after looking at the images of my spine, laughed and said “that guy doesnt know what he is talking about.” It has been 5 years since my surgery and I’m picking up and playing w all 4 kids w no issues and surfing w no issues at all…other than having the time.

Dawn Richey Dr. Pradhan is a great doctor who is very professional and knowledgeable about the facts of my Meningioma Brain Tumor. He has kept up with my case and is leaving my decision to have it removed by Gamma Knife up to me. I know he said if there is anything he needs for me to know I can contact him anytime. Thank you Dr. Pradhan

Carmen Duran I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mary Yoder for about 15 years, and she continues to impress me with her comprehensive knowledge of medicine and proactive approach to care. She always takes the time to listen and never makes me feel rushed or dismissed. After losing my insurance almost two years ago, I couldn’t wait until I was eligible for Medicare to return to her practice. When I did, it felt like I never left. Dr. Yoder remembers my medical history and consistently provides personalized care. I also appreciate how quickly she responds to messages on the portal – it’s clear she truly listens. At 65, having a doctor who knows your history and genuinely cares about your health is priceless. I trust Dr. Yoder completely with my healthcare and highly recommend her.

Sherill Herwig Dr Yoder is great and I have no complaints of the care received. However, the insurance billing folks DO NOT have their heads on straight. They billed insurance incorrectly and then began harassing me incessantly for 298.00 for my visit, when my insurance would pay if they had actually received a claim, which they told me they have not received. Tried talking to them and lets just say it was like trying to talk to a box of rocks and expecting an intelligent response. Very frustrating experience.
5 /5
Kate Clark Dr. Mary Yoder kindly responded to my need to meet with my PCP, or another doctor, as soon as possible. This was following my recent ER hospital experience 2 weeks ago. I was treated concerning several major health issues that required immediate attention. The hospital and several individual specialists provided me with notes concerning my care and I had notes from my family who were present in the ER with me, as well as notes with information that came from other sources. I assembled and coordinated these many details and updates for inclusion in my patient office file, and gave this all to Dr Yoder who found it especially helpful. I believe Dr Yoder was every bit as interested and invested in me throughout my visit, as she would have been if she had known me as her own patient for many years. She’s wonderful - kind, caring, professional, thorough, easy to talk to and understand, listens carefully and is all things we hope our doctors will be for us. She asked relevant questions to ensure she had a clear understanding of the events and of the implications, and in turn, provided me with good answers to my questions and was very engaging; obviously “present” and interested in knowing what I had been through, and dedicated to helping me in whatever way was needed. Many thanks to Dr Mary Yoder.

Wanda Robinson Dr. Yoder Is a wonderful Doctor. She takes all the time she needs to understand your health problems. She is a very caring person. Sidney Voichahoske Dr. Moosavi was very helpful in what I was going through mentally and physically. I was in and out quickly. But I’d like to say the front desk girl that was there when I was there, was VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. What I did not take kindly too was how she was treated here at this establishment. Me and my partner could hear Dr Moosavi berating and talking to this lovely girl like trash. All she was doing was asking questions, which she should be able to without being made to feel stupid. I forgot my water bottle and came back, when I came in to get it she was crying. There is no acceptable reason you should be making your employees cry. Especially making them feel bad in THEIR OWN WORKPLACE!!. You wouldn’t treat a patient like this, so don’t treat your staff like this. This broke my heart as someone that has been made to feel this way before in a work environment. DO BETTER!!!

Bradley Clarke Friendly and very helpful. We were traveling and needing medical services. Dr. Mousavi was honest and sincere, suggesting we go to the nearby Navy base hospital to save money. Honest doctor.

mistyrayz As someone whos had military healthcare for years, the staff here at UF urgent care is a breath of fresh air. Everyone is friendly, attentive and efficient. I waited to be seen by the MD for a total of five minutes between check-in, vitals and actual visit. Excellent experience, thank you.

Alison (Ruth Esther) For a hospital it has a friendly and visually pleasing layout and nice amenities. Comfy chairs in the seating areas. Thankfully I was only there for an MRI. The staff was professional and friendly. The visitor parking garage has several levels, and elevators, and is convenient to medical buildings 1 and 2 and the hospital. There’s also a shuttle van.

Erica D Poor customer service my dad almost died under their care! The staff refused to give their names to file a complaint! They also banned me from visiting my dad because I’m holding them accountable! People need to stop taking health care positions for salary when they’re dealing with people lives! I contacted Jodie the nurse executive and she refused to take my calls! I will continue my research until every staff member is held accountable for their actions! His room was in disarray and his assigned nurses had no explanation for the lethargic state! He was unresponsive for 2 minutes. His nurse Laura and charge nurse Jennifer offered no assistance! How is this legal and fair! Failed health care system! No one cares until it’s their family! It’s sad family must stay at the hospital just to monitor and make sure the doctor’s and nurses do their job!

MaggieAnn G. Very pleased with lab services received at this location. Check-in is easy and uncomplicated process. Once check-in, with ID band on, technicians move quickly. Staff at this location are friendly, yet professional and respectful. I have no complaints, but do have a preference for tech for drawing blood specimen, mainly because of challenges with finding a good draw vein. This tech, gets every time with first attempt. But, she’s not always who I am assigned on different visits.

Tony Langhals It is a very well-organized facility. Environmentally well-configured waiting rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Emily Woods The radiology transporter Beth was very friendly and informative. She let me know that one of the MRI rooms was being upgraded so I would be out back in the mobile MRI trailer. It made me giggle. My MRI technologist was very friendly and informative too. Things seemed to go quickly and easy. The mobile MRI trailer was clean and neat.

Jen Polk I have seen Dr Riggeal since 2020 and he is by far has provided the most thorough care. I am an individual with complex neurological issues and his care has been invaluable. The entire office staff, especially his assistants Joni/Aaron, are top notch administratively! Highly recommend.

Tina R. Dr. Bonnie Decker is awesome. Goes above and beyond and actually listens to you to get to a resolution. The entire support staff was sweet and helpful. Very personable and professional office.

Helena B Dr. Decker ordered a specific test(lumbar puncture) for me that comes with very high risks for people with my condition (hEDS.) The test was to measure a specific hormone in my CSF. She added additional tests for the lumbar puncture as well, but the chief reason I wanted and agreed to the puncture was for the hormone measure. I was assured while scheduling the test(for early December) that I would be sedated due to anxiety/panic around the test. When I arrived, the staff was confused and said that sedation was never ordered. I had to beg for IV sedation that barely worked and then underwent the extremely painful puncture. After the test I asked staff if the hormone test was ordered and the staff said they never received it. I asked that they call Dr. Decker to confirm it, and they did. They told me that it was ordered and that the results would take a while to arrive to me. I’ve called Dr. Decker’s office periodically to check the status and each time have been told that it takes a while to process and to remain patient. Today, Dr. Decker called and apologized and said that she hadn’t ordered it correctly so the hormone was never measured, despite the months of her staff telling me otherwise. She then said she was uncomfortable re-ordering it and to see a different specialist (she didn’t provide a referral.) I provided consent to the lumbar puncture because of the hormone testing. I would not have agreed otherwise. The test is risky, and it was extremely emotionally taxing. And now I have to find a different specialist, wait months to see them, request the test again, undergo it again, open myself to the risks again, potentially have another pain attack during the test again, and pay for the specialist visits, the sedation, and the testing again. This is thousands upon thousands of dollars. I don’t know what is up with Baptist but you can see from my other review that this is not the only issue I’ve had with staff there. In my opinion, there is a culture of disrespect and dishonesty directed at patients by Baptist staff.

Michael Register I would avoid this place at all costs unless its a life or death situation. The doctor was amazing and she was very nice but The nurses are beyond rude and disrespectful. Very specifically nurse valery F. Was the most rude and even told us next time to visit a different hospital. I was ok with it because all I need them to do is their job, however there is a limit to what you can say to a patient. We waited an extraordinarily long time after being diagnosed and told we were being discharged. After an hour I walked outside to ask what was taking so long and I was rudely told there are no discharge orders and I can wait for as long as they want me to. I refuse to be treated this way by any establishment, much less a hospital. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Bonnie zagrodny The phlebotomists here are the best. My veins are hard to find and in the last two weeks I’ve gone twice and both times they’ve been able to draw blood in the first stick, since I’m going through chemo this is very important to me. Everybody is very kind, professional, and friendly

Royall Nichols I have three resounding comments about Baptist Medical Nassau, one general and the other two specific. The first relates to the Medical Hospital Center, which I visited just this afternoon for some blood tests. I was in and out in less than ten minutes, the receptionist handing me to the administrator to the blood test technician without pause. And all the people who served me were so pleasant and efficient. The second comment relates to Lori Tilton, my PA working with Dr. Page and my primary Primary caregiver. She saw me for follow-up on an emergency visit to the hospital last weekend. She added great medical understanding and advice on self-care to my recovery from the accident, leaving me feeling really cared for and with so much greater peace of mind. She is among the two very best medical professionals I have experienced in my 82 years. The other was my younger brother, a Family Practice MD, who took care of me until he passed away. I would like a to add a very positive shout out to the MD who served me on my emergency at the Hospital, Rich Westenbarger, who spent almost an hour carefully and precisely sewing up my very deep head wound with three layers of stitches, 14 in all. Lori Tilton, when she did follow-up with me 5 days later, said his stitching was "beautiful." He did something artistic with my very messy head.

Roberta Steinberg I am beyond furious. I had an MRI done on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 7:30am. Was told I would have the results by Tuesday the 11th at the latest. Had a follow up with my doctor on Monday the 17th of January at MD Anderson. He still hadn’t received the written report from the radiologist. He’s requested the report twice since my visit with him and has gotten NO report. I tried calling radiology on the 21st of February and got no answer. Couldn’t even leave a message. So here it is almost 3 weeks later and I have NO results!!! Absolutely NO excuse for this!

Buddy Wilson I have been treating at this facility for one and a half years roughly. I have had good experiences the entire time. This is a few things about some of the employees that at the facility who I have developed a relationship with. Anthony is one of the best front desk and customer service employees I have ever dealt with. He is always kind and very understanding. He is tenacious and is a good example of what other companies should look for in customer service. Jazlyn is a very well coordinated and detailed every time I have dealt with her. She always has a smile on her face and that makes a big difference. Barbara is a sensitive and very good at deep tissue and soft tissue massages. She also has strong hands if you need them. Steven is another massage therapist who recently started with NFMC. I would recommend him 10/10 if you visit the office. Austin Pitts is very good with clear communication and understanding. He is one of the most patient people in the facility and it has been a pleasure to have him at the office to greet every week. Dwayne is very down to earth and pays attention to detail with paperwork and in my experience one of the quickest to get you in and out of medical. Sherry is very well trained at trigger points and is always on point in the location you have pain. She has a light touch and takes her time to ensure you are treated properly. Stan is one of the best for physical therapy you could ask for. Not only does he make it fun he also provides great conversations and keeps you laughing through the entire process. He will have you done before you know it without a single worry. Ashley is a precise and bright chiropractor that will provide you with very good service and conversation. I feel better every time I leave her office. Last but not least, Rainey Hogan. She has a very good relationship with everyone and works very hard to take care of all her patients and customers. Every time I have had a question or concern she handles it immediately. It’s very hard to find a manager that is as passionate and as hard of a worker as she. Any ups and downs that may have occurred she has personally taken care of it and gone out of her way to help. If you are looking for a place to receive care I would highly recommend this office. I have built a personal connection with everyone here and my body has improved far beyond any of my expectations. The equipment is up to date and they keep the facility very clean. I enjoy every time I go to the office. If you are like me and you are in a lot of pain some days. This office would be the best to be treated at. Thank you everyone at North Florida Medical Center.

ChristyColbertOwens Heres an update for you 1 year later........READY????? On the day of my appt, I was told by his nurse to stay home until I hear from her. Next thing I know I was receiving a call from Dr Blunck & this man yelled & screamed at me blaming me because I wasnt there & I wasted his time & I would have to reschedule with one of his associates. I was so upset & yes I cried because he blamed me for not being there when actually it was his nurse who said to stay home until I hear back from her. I never returned. I went & saw a surgeon @ UF Health North & my surgery went well & a year later Im doing just fine. My recent appt with Dr Hans Blunck, UF Gastro Surgeon @ UF Health, was awesome. Actually, from the moment me & my son walked thru the Faculty Clinic doors for my appt, the staff was very personable with excellent customer service. Once I was checked in on the 2nd floor, I was immediately taken back to an exam room, vitals & history were taken & within 5 mins Dr Blunck walked in He greeted me with a friendly attitude & hand shake. He was patient, understanding, took his time & didnt rush me. I highly recommend Dr Hans Blunck to anybody who needs to have their gallbladder removed. Ill post an updated review once the surgery is completed.

Yurizan I have been in this hospital for seven days with my mother who has pneumonia. The tension with the nurses and doctors has been very good and efficient, but the Hospital administration keeps the hospital with very hot air and no type of ventilation enters the room. There is no fresh air, it is like being in a caldera. It is incredible that they have no regard for human beings.

Terrie Robbins This was my first experience meeting Dr. Oum as my new primary care physician. I am overly sensitive to environment and meeting new people, but this experience put me at ease. I think its going to be a good fit for me. My previous physician transferred to a practice in St. Augustine. I loved her, but thats too far for me to travel for doctors visits.

Adam Office staff dont care about their patients at all! I now have a 1000 dollar bill about to go to collections just for some routine blood work all because the office staff never sent the right code to insurance. I followed up multiple times and no action from them. Avoid this place at all costs

C Collins Dr. Malik is the best, Ive been going to her for years now. She takes the time to listen to her patients, she cares and doesnt try to rush the time with her. I wish all of the doctors visits where as pleasant as the visits with her. Respectful, professional and caring.

Holly Ray I have been a patient of the practice for 6 years with only positives experiences with all the medical assistants, NP Byrd, and Dr. Chronin. On Tues I had my first interaction with a nurse of the practice to get A TB test all went well she told me to come back in 48- 72 hrs. 48hrs from Tuesday would be Thursday, 72hrs from Tuesday would be Friday. I drove 30mins to office on Thursday for the nurse to tell me I had to come back the next day Friday. I told her you told me 48- 72hrs, 48hrs from Tuesday is Thursday. She would not read my TB test on Thursday. She was very nice just wrong.

L B This is the worst primary care facility I’ve ever been to. They encourage messages through the patient portal. We are now at 6 days with no response regarding a medication. I sent another message 2 days ago and even called yesterday and spoke with a staff member, Melanie who wouldn’t let me talk. She over talked me every minute of our conversation. I’ve now been on hold for 45 minutes and still waiting. I need to go to St. Vincent’s for my primary care needs, apparently.

Sheryl Beavers The image department did a thorough exam. The imaging tech was very competent and did a great job. I also had an ultrasound done to rule out cancer. The Dr. was knowledgeable and kind. Would recommend this hospital for care. Check in was easy. Everyone was was very nice and accommodating.

Orville Chapman Scheduled for some tests, I arrived, checked in and before I could get good and settled in the waiting area, I was called back to the imaging department. The staff was pleasant and friendly. The moment they greeted me their professionalism shone through. Everyone got right to work and completed my screening in less than an hour. The staff even put up with my lame humor and we all had a few good laughs. St. Vincent’s is a great facility and gets an A+ from me.

William Odonnell Staff and facilities were the best Ive ever experienced. I was sent right after seeing my PCP next door. Was taken back in less than 4 minutes. Many tests completed in first 2 hours before I was told I was being admitted. Emergency room staff far exceeded all my expectations. After being admitted, hospital staff, especially Phyllis, Holly and Laine were outstanding. Awesome place to be if had to be hospitalized. Again thank you to all staff.

Lisa Peacock St Vincent, St John’s Hospital from ER to the hospital room upstairs bc of admittance were outstanding. Dr P is the first doctor to recognize my husband as an individual & not just a patient with Parkinson’s. We appreciate his diagnosis. The nursing staff was so kind & caring. I felt my husband was in good hands from the start. This was not my husbands first trip to their ER. The first time I was dreading the wait, but that emotion was in vain. We were there & out within 2 hours! I want to always use this hospital! Of course I highly recommend!

Liz Langdon I had outpatient total knee replacement surgery yesterday. The experience was 100% positive. Prior to the surgery, I attended a class which prepared me for what I would need prior to the surgery and expectations post surgery. I also had my preop blood work done there which was convenient. The day of surgery went like clockwork. The staff was excellent: Professional, efficient and they took super good care of me! Definitely A+++ They set the stage for a very favorable outcome for this surgery!

Jennifer Henderson 4 years ago when I went here I loved it. Recommended everyone to come here. But now? Drastic downhill change. Its horrible here. Theres no control in the waiting room. Other patients being rude and staff doing nothing about it. Staff not making notes on my file when I tell them to NOT book me with ANY other doctor then the one I named. But yet.... Im still getting scheduled with other doctors. None of the staff, nurses and doctors included really care. Theyre a very free select few who do. Unfortunately I havent seen any today. Def NOT a doctors office Id recommend to ANYONE!

Stephanie Williams Dr.Stewart is by far one of the best Doctors Ive ever had. He actually cares for every patient. He will listen to you and your concerns and answer your questions to make sure you understand whats going with a smile on his face hes never grouchy! Ive never seen such a welcoming doctor who is always so concerned for their patients..and dont get me started on Robert he is amazing ! I swear these men are Godsend! Robert helps keep with everything and is so patient listens to every complaint or concern I have going on at the time. Explains stuff and then he explains what to expect and how theyll treat it. If I forget a appointment which I am bad at lol he is patient never ever rude and just calls to remind me and reschedule me for virtual if I need to. Any paperwork is always done right then or in a very quickly manner never have to wait like other doctors office. The nurses are always so sweet and warm. They rotate so i dont get to spend a lot of time with just one but they are all always kind and sweetThey treat you like family here I am so grateful for the care they give. Crissi Reed I have been receiving care through Dr. Stewart and his associates for over a year and service has always been excellent. The team answers questions at visits professionally and politely. They are efficient. They also have a website to review your appointments and schedule and cancel upcoming appointments with them. They are quick and profficient in responding ASAP. You can ask questions through the website and get a response sometimes the same day. If you need to be seen, come to UF Family Medicine - Commonwealth with Dr. Stewart and his team they are wonderful! And it is a added bonus having a complete pharmacy right there next door. The staff at OSteins is just as wonderful. They are quick and get everything done right away! So a One-Stop Shop for doctor appointments and prescriptions. Cant go wrong with this team! As walk-ins are welcome! Come see what they are all about. You will leave satisfied!!!

He takes the time to listen to your medical needs and moves quickly to get a resolve! He took great care of my mom and he is now taking care of us. I love the fact that the office opens like 6am during the week AND 8am on Saturdays so you dont have to miss a day of work or go in late!

Kimberly Smith Would give zero if it was an option. Wish I could give a review on him. But hes been my doc for 3 years and IV never met him. However I can say dont go here if you need medication refills. Does not matter how long youve been on a medication or what its for. You will jump thru hoops to be dismissed in the end anyhow. I can say He has no idea and no interest as to who you are as a patient.

jim russo My recent visit to the Davis Building was regarding x-rays and a consult in lieu of bilateral total knee replacement. I was very nervous but was soon relieved upon entering the Davis Building I went to the help desk for directions I checked in at the appointment desk I was allowed to go up to the X-ray area early and was at the waiting area for the consult shortly thereafter the x-rays. Let me just say every step of the way I was greeted with a smile and confidence. The building was extremely clean and the air conditioning was very very comfortable.. the x-ray department was unbelievably accommodating and when I met with the doctor he answered all my questions. I had not one issue. I hope you have the same kind of experience that I did. Im looking forward to going back tomorrow to speak to an orthopedic surgeon.JR

Michael Bodine Never again. I thought Mayo was supposed to be the best of the best.. yet their level of service is awful. I called and left a message with the nurse station early this morning at 8:58am with a post-procedure medical concern; it is now 5:12 pm and no one called me back. I called at 4:30pm and spoke to some lady who told me to give it until the end of day and if I don’t hear back call in the morning…. Not what you want to hear when you have a medical concern and it’s basically already the end of day. I know Jacksonville as a whole has an apathetic attitude towards work but come on, you are a medical facility and people are concerned and scared about their health…. Show some empathy at the very least. I guess I’ll sit around worried all night again. The second star is for Dr. Gundian - at least he is cool.

Ophelia Rodriguez Visited on 11/15/2024, had a relatively short wait for a medical urgent care clinic. Received wonderful care by Dr Ed McDonough. He took all necessary measures to ensure that I was tested for a series of common seasonal infections. He displayed much concern and had comforting bedside manners. I was treated like a patient, not a number. I left feeling much better than when I had arrived. Awesome service, from registration to release. Thank you!

Ramona Houston From the moment I walked through the door at the ER, I was greeted with kindness and uplifting care. A great deal of stress relief was felt immediately. There was not a single person in the hospital staff that was not pleasant and helpful from beginning to the hour I was released on Thursday evening. Professional, kind, knowledgeable and caring applied to all of your staff. In that I have no family here, it gave me a great sense of relief.

Elizabeth Dixon If getting a blood draw at a lab can be pleasant, this experience at Baptist Beaches Outpatient Lab was! Check-in/registration was easy and efficient, the facility is beautiful and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, there was practically no wait time, and believe it or not, I barely felt the needle go in by the very capable technician. I even found a nearby parking space in front of the main entrance. Test results were in my Baptist online portal by the end of the same day!

Jeff K So unprofessional. This place is horrible. Their ER is pathetic. The staff doesn’t even wear uniforms or even scrubs and dresses like they are at the gym. The ER doc is disengaged and only cares about looking and acting “cool”. In a recent visit with a person complaining of chest pains, numbness in arms and face, could not speak and nodding in and out of consciousness, it took over 15 minutes to get checked in and another 10 just to get looked at. The nurses could not find the proper equipment to take blood pressure or even the leads for the EKG machine. The ER doctor thought it was a gym injury and suggestion ibuprofen for the chest pain while discounting and ignoring all the other symptoms. Long story short, the following day we were in a different hospital for five days after a serious misdiagnosis from Beaches Baptist. Not unexpected as the hospital is a complete joke.

Joan Howell Ample parking. Pleasant, not tons of paperwork sign in. Knowledgeable insurance checker and co-pay staff in private spaces. Walking directions to the actual lab as you leave. After a quick wait at the lab, you’re in! Again, privacy and kind staff take care of business and get you on your way.

James Brian I brought my wife to this urgent care at 8:00pm Sunday evening because she felt dizzy and faint. She thought she was going to pass out. The check in counter rep did fine by getting us seen quick, but the first nurse my wife got to see was absolutely horrible. Very condescending and rude to my wife’s needs. My wife finally said something about her attitude and the nurse said; fine I will leave. And left her in the room with me. About to pass out. I could t believe she just left her. I did say it was bullshit when I asked her if she was really leaving. Next thing we’re being interviewed by security. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional! The rest of the team did fine, but have some compassion for each patient individually and get rid of the unprofessional nurses!

Nancy Quinones I went yesterday around 7:30 am, after the night before I found a nod at my neck. First, your system went down and the receptionist told me she didnt know how much I have to pay or it was covered from my Ambetter, then they call me immediately. It was something a few minutes from 8 am. The nurse was so helpful and polite. She placed the cuff on my arm to check on my blood pressure and the equipment to measure my heart. After she finished, a few minutes after 8 am, she told me that the doctor was coming shortly and left. It took the first 15 minutes, 30 minutes 45 minutes, 1 hour!!! Nobody came to attend to me, and there was only 1 patient in front of me. Tired to wait, gently, I did remove the cuff from my arm and the tape from my finger and left. Nobody reached me out, nobody asked me anything. I will call my insurance to see if you dare to bill them for services that I never received. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANY EMERGENCY TO NOBODY. THEY DONT TAKE GOOD CARE OF THE PATIENTS AND ITS A SHAME BECAUSE THIS IS A NEW HOSPITAL AT THE AREA. BAD START DOING BUSINESS.

Heather Blair I had a hysterectomy there Tuesday. Every single person I came in contact with was just amazing. Two people stood out the first and I don’t know her name but I believe she said she was a Chaplin. She was so sweet! She made me feel so comfortable as I was awaiting my surgery. The Second Lady was a Charge nurse in the adult tower level 5 specifically. Her name was Jessica! She was so friendly and took the time to walk 4 laps with me around the floor. I learned a lot from her. She was very informative about why I was doing some of the things I was doing and made me feel good. You have a true Angel in her ❤️ All of my nurses were great too! I have no complains. Today is Ash Wednesday and I was able to get my ashes also. I Would definitely come to Baptist Downtown if I needed any other procedures .

George Had my surgery scheduled for early afternoon, but the surgeon was backed up, so it didn’t happen until late in the day. Operation was successful. Dr. McKillop is great! The staff was also very attentive. Per the orders, I hadn’t eaten since the night before, and by the time I came around post-surgery, I was famished. Unfortunately, by then, the cafeteria/food service was closed. My nurse or CNA found me a couple of turkey sandwiches (looked like from a vending machine, so assume she paid for them herself). The next morning, I got breakfast (yay!), which was surprisingly good! Heck, wish I could’ve stayed for lunch! (Ok, not really). All in all, the doctors and the entire staff were kind, caring, compassionate and attentive.
