One day when I used to go to the health department for care, I missed my lab work and went to Midway merely to have my blood drawn and sent to Dr. J at the health department. He was very unhappy, and told me to receive care at midway. What a great turn of events. Nicole Massey Very nice hospital run by a wonderful staff! Its honestly the most lovely and clean hospital Ive ever been in. Seriously not a single carpet stain or flickering overhead light. The bathrooms were impeccable and fully stocked. They also have the latest technology. Every person I interacted with was very kind and knowledgeable. I was given clear communication about every step of every procedure without having to ask! I must say that I was dreading seeing what kind of hospital it was since its the only one in the upper keys. I feel lucky to have this hospital in my community.

Janet Worsham I called before coming in to inquire if the office was in the main hospital or the adjacent building. I am mobility impaired. I was told to go to the main hospital. The security officer asked what I was here for and when I said a mammogram he said what, so I had to raise my voice to tell him. He then directed me to go to the other building. I had to go back out and get in my car to go to the other building. When I checked in the lady at the front desk asked for my prescription I didnt have one because my doctor sent it electronically and they had it when I called to schedule. I think her name was Zee. Another person said she found it and got my bracelet and checked me in. She was very helpful and I think her name was Brittany. Tracy brought me in very quickly and was very friendly. She did the actual mammogram and gave clear instructions and got the job done.

Sherry Jordan It was a very good experience. The radiology department crew are very knowledgeable and kind. Tracy and a nice gentleman (I can’t remember his name) walked me through it and lessened my fears.

Cheryl Miller When we arrived to Key West I was already a few days into a cold/sinus infection and for whatever reason I spent the first night throwing up. I literally spent nearly the first 2 days of our 7 day trip in bed. I knew I was pretty dehydrated. I did some research to see if this type of service was available because if it wasn’t it would’ve been a trip to the ER. Paul was incredibly kind every step of the way. I was already starting to feel better by the time he left. Our vacation would’ve been a completely different one if I had not called them. I HIGHLY recommend them. Jennifer Long April was GREAT! My fiancé was hesitant to try it (even though he was laying in bed throwing up and miserable; see pic below) and she made him super comfortable and explained everything so well. Within 5-10 minutes he was already starting to feel the sickness subside and I was starting to feel great. She was quick, super friendly, and very intelligent. Denise Gardner I cannot recommend Dr. Sawyer, and ALL of the staff at Mt. Sinai, enough. I am new to Key West, and from the start, Dr. Sawyer made us feel welcome, heard, and comfortable with our surroundings. Edward Priolo Dr. Larari did hernia surgery on me a year and a half ago. He did it really half-assed. After the surgery I told him something wasnt right. He told me that in 3 months I would be running jumping, swimming and be totally back to normal. I followed up with him 3 months later and he told me that this is normal for me. Now. I cannot bend over. I cannot pick up any weight below my knees. I cant stand for 8 hours. My belly sticks out like Im pregnant. After I eat I can watch the food move through my intestines just under my skin. Its like an alien living in my abdomen.Theres no muscle where he did the patch. I suffer everyday and they said theres nothing they can do for me now that the surgery is over. This is not normal. Please avoid that doctor at all costs. He did the bare minimum and after taking to other doctors Ive been assured it was done incorrectly and another surgeon could have done it correct. I wish I had gone anywhere else

My daughter would not be wasting her day and money visiting the doctor if she was feeling "normal." You would think someone in the MEDICAL PROFESSION would have some EMPATHY. If my daughter discovers she has a condition that you dismissed as "normal", you will certainly be hearing from me again. Very, very disappointed.

Gary Gomer Dr. Fariss is one of those doctors you rarely see anymore. I had a Lithotripsy procedure done and was one of the few patients that got muscle spasms from the actual machine, which is very painful. When I first reached out to Dr. Fariss due to the pain, of course it was well after business hours and Dr. Fariss returned my call within minutes. He provided some very helpful ways to get through the pain, and then he called back after a few hours to make sure I was OK. That almost never happens now a days. He also called the next morning to make sure I was OK. Then on a Saturday night at 10:30pm I started to have pain again and called him, he called me right back again within minutes and had me try a few things which completely stopped the pain. Then he called back at 11:30pm to make sure I was good. Then on Sunday morning he called me to see if I was still OK, which I was fine at that point and he asked me if I wanted to come into the office today (on a Sunday) and he would remove the Stent (previously scheduled for Wednesday) so it would relieve my discomfort, which I jumped at the chance. It took days off my recovery. I know there are a lot of details in this review but only because Dr. Fariss went above and beyond so many times that most doctors would never do. I dont normally write reviews but Dr. Fariss is just such an amazing Doctor and Person who REALLY cares about his patients. For most people this procedure is a pretty quick recovery with very little pain but it is good to know that Dr. Fariss will be there for you should you have any unusual discomfort or Pain. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

alice weingarten The office manager and I had a bit of an argument about my insurance and one question, she was given miss information as well as requested that I came into the office again to ask the doctor a simple question about how long it would take before I could return to work. This was upsetting because when we scheduled the surgery she asked me to assist with the insurance and would call with the answer about when I could return to work. Long story short, she canceled my surgery, I couldnt believe it, gave me no where to go, left me in serve pain and discomfort with no referral, just told to go to the emergency room!!! I then had to drive 170 miles to fine another doctor in Miami. I live on a small island of Key West and we only have 1 urologist and they know that. I had the doctor I found request my pre-op labs so they wouldnt have to be done again, they had a cancelation and could fit me right in only to find out they had shredded some of my labs. I have never hear of anything like this

Marissa Ramirez Ive been going to this pediatrician for 7 years and 2 kids later. Recently the visits have been with the nurses more frequently then the doctor which is fine. Angela pritts is very knowledgeable she gets down to the bottom of the problem very quickly. She is able to diagnose my son quickly and even helped me clean my sons belly button when he had lint and it was in a area that was hard to get to considering he has an outie. Laura is also great she has many solutions. The staff is very nice and usually very accommodating with a busy schedule.
