Robert Daniel Dr. Mechanic seems incredibly thoughtful, kind, and capable based on her profile and all these positive reviews. Unfortunately, I won’t get a chance to see for myself, as after waiting two months for my appointment, it was cancelled online (with no phone call) four days before the appointment. After calling to check, I found out it’s because she’s moving to a Concierge system at $10k/year. I understand it’s tough to make a living as a non-procedural physician these days, but I would have stopped taking new appointments, and seen the current appointments through, especially if people were waiting 2+ months. I hope she manages her new, Concierge-only, office with better judgment and compassion for her patients going forward.

Gracy weberman we were using Dr Mechanic a few years before she became concierge - yes 8k is a lot of money but it was worth every single penny - before my mother went to 7 different doctors- no one knew what the other Dr was prescribing and my mother was so sleepy and lethargic - thanks to Dr Mechanic who went though line by line of every rx that she was on and calibrated them all- yes it did take a few months but we thank god every day for dr mechanic- she truly cares and is always responsive and thats what makes her care so excellent - no question is stupid or unimportant to her - by answering so promptly the Dr makes the situation proactive instead of reactive any anyone who knows me - i never sugar coat anything and tell it like it is if there were more Drs like her - our family members would be definitely healthier i wish there was a ten star i could give thank you for the outstanding care

Her office never notified us that she closed her Key Biscayne office and is only taking on patients that can pay her fees. Money trumps patients and professionalism.

Francesca Petit After being a patient of Dr. Santos for the past two years I’ve finally decided that he is not the right doctor for me. I ignored the red flags for a while now but after visiting his office today I realized how dr. Santos and his staff disregard black woman. I was disregarded on how i felt and no one can tell me how to feel about my body. As a health care provider you should be able to listen to your patients and look for multiple alternatives with them not just one. I do not recommend any woman of color to go to this office. 0 stars definitely do not recommend!!

Sheri Smallwood Mt. Sinai Key West has been a huge benefit to this community. They offer comprehensive coverage in an area where there are few practitioners. I took a patient there seeking help for intense pain he was having. They immediately told us to come in and they would see what they might be able to do. We were seen by a urologist and he quickly realized what he could do. His solution was temporary, but it made the patient much more comfortable. He also gave the patient confidence that they would take more permanent measures and his suffering would be taken care of. Every one of their people was welcoming and thoughtful. Each of them did what they could under the circumstances. We are grateful to have such well trained and caring specialists in this area.

In the past visits that was the only problem that I ever had. But I was very happy on this last visit. My appt was 3pm and 3:20pm since I bring 2 at a time and was out by 4pm. Keep up the good work.

Nanci Jesus The waiting time it’s horrible. The average waiting time to be seen by the pediatrician is usually 1-1:30 hours AFTER the time that the appointment was booked for. It’s disrespectful. Very bad. Always the same excuses: “we had a difficult patience before”… which do NOT make sense when your appointment is between 8-9am, for example. It’s no sense. Other then that, I love my pediatrician. The staff in general is good and super kind. The system/management of the appointments hours and waiting time is the one that is not efficient!

Virginia Escudero While your company charge extra without letting know the parents when an appointment is made "after hours", you totally disregard the time of your patients and families. My daughter and I were in time for our appointment at 2.40 pm and we left the office almost at 5 pm. This appointment did not require anything else than a simple conversation with the doctor, her assessment was not very throughout and the labs that my daughter needed couldnt be done due to not having the stuff... My family has been a patient of Dr. Cordero for more than 17 years, and later when the practice changed to Pediatric Associates we stayed for simple convenience. I am extremely dissatisfied with your service and the fact that you are now charging extra for getting an afternoon visit. I had to delay 3 months my daughters yearly well-check because you did not have appointments and then I received an invoice for $66 for being an "after hour" visit. The web page did not inform me when I made the appointment and the stuff in the front desk either. Again, I am not happy with your service. In a side note... This comment is more for Pediatric Associates in general and not this doctor in particular.

Vané Our last visit was to draw Blood only. So my answers were only about the Phlebotomist. She was "nice enough", I guess. But not at all warm nor friendly. It is EXTREMELY rare that I leave anything negative I go out of my way to compliment good service. Writing this is unpleasant for me. *I* had to say Hello first and ask how She was doing. No warmth. No reassurance. Nothing. Perhaps she was having a rough day. It happens.... We are human. But you asked. So I answered. Previously when we DID see the Provider, she was very nice.

The doctor was able to answer all of my questions and give me advice on what to do with my dog. They did not push for any unnecessary treatments or operations. Just kept it factual and honest, which is what we all need. 10/10. They will make you pay $65 prior to your appointment but that amount goes towards your bill at the end so it’s fine.

Ryan Russell The doctor tried to pressure me Into a surgery for my frenchies knee on the first visit with X-rays and I am a doctor and took my dog to another vet and did X-rays myself and it was just a tiny sprain. Watch out for these people they will mess your animal up and cost you thousands.. As to the reply it is definitely incorrect and for someone who isn’t a doctor like myself or isn’t already informed I call bs. Always go and get second opinions as not all offices or VETS are created equal and this one was much too aggressive. You can inform your clients about a potential issue or what is common and do the least invasive treatment and then see if the animal gets better versus just stating that my dog upon just a physical examination was going to need knee surgery and if not given would have a low quality of life and develop arthritis etc.. there is much better ways to INFORM AND EDUCATE a person than using scare tactics to harm a dog and rip clients off.

BiancaBovo1 My experience was so quick and easy at the Baptist Coral gables urgent care. The team was so amazing and the PA who saw me, Ana, was so intentional when going through my symptoms. She gave me a really easy to follow routine to help my symptoms and they even had the prescription available for purchase there which meant I didn’t need to take another trip to a pharmacy.

However, after a guided cortisone injection, 95% of my pain disappeared, drastically improving my quality of life. Dr. Sabeh was able to accurately pinpoint the source of my pain, which turned out to be my hip, not my back! Thank you, Doc!

Patricia Martinez Cue I didnt know we had such a good urgent care in Miami Beach!!! Facility is super clean modern with good views at the waiting room, inside everything was cozy, they even had Bob Marley playing in the back, the do x-ray , front desk , nurses, x-ray tech and doctor were all very nice and attentive to me! Even the guy on a screen who got the insurance info and charge the copay was very nice. Doctor was very informative about my ankle and next steps. Very glad Miami Beach community has this awesome urgent care! Thank you all !

Maria Gonzalez The staff was very kind and efficient with my brothers care. Our wait time was very minimal about 15 or 20 minutes max. The appropriate testing and administered medicine. They gave us instructions on what to do if his condition should worsen. They also gave us prescriptions to take home. Overall, if I had to take my brother to an urgent care center I would choose the Baptist urgent care on Miami beach! The doctor was amazing and so was the staff and the x-ray technician is such a kind human being that I am grateful for the care my brother received!

Nicolas Valle Vieytes Great for urgent care. It was very quick, made an appointment and took less than 15 min to see the doctor. They also have a pharmacy dispenser and you can walk out with your meds. Highly recommend!

Jeffrey Fichtelberg Services were not up to prior experience. I appreciate that I was informed the wait to be seen on arrival would be an hour and a half. I didnt like the fact that I was next for a chest X-ray and waited an over an hour. My X-ray took less than 10 minutes and then the next patient was called. Why I had to wait over an hour for what ever reason should have been explained honestly. I expect your tech was at lunch but if that was the case I should have been told. Sad to see your facility go the way of so many. Prioritys are payment and your customer the insurance company and the garbage is the patient which if you could get paid without you would.

Vanessa Carletti-Malovany The facilities are beautiful, new, clean, and well maintained. The personnel is competent, courteous. The nurses and doctors are great. The medicine dispenser is very convenient. I definitely would recommend this Urgent Care.
