Beverly Ross Dr. Machado has performed two back surgeries on me. His bedside manner is a little rough but hes all business. He doesnt go by a radiology report, he looks only at the images himself to diagnose. Surgeries both went great. His nurse Bobbi is GREAT! I heard he retired but would definitely go to him again if need arised. Would also recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Dhas was amazing at explaining everything and always took his time, even when I came in unannounced with questions. Furthermore his nurse Millie is fantastic and all of the office staff is welcoming and knowledgeable! I can’t wait for baby #2 it was such a great experience.

Heather Moon Dr. Dhas is hands down the best OB in town. He takes his time with every patient. He listens and answers as many questions possible to make sure you understand your medical plan. Dr. Dhas and his staff really care about their patients health. Everyone there is friendly and makes you feel safe and confident. They work hard on making you feel comfortable as possible, and get things done on a timely manner. I’ve never had to wait more than ten minutes to be seen. It’s nice having people show they care instead of feeling like your a McDonald’s drive through patient. I highly recommend this to office.

Mama Kay Dr Dhas is the best doctor and a great human being . He really cares for his patients , he is sincere, he wants you to feel better and takes all your concerns seriously . Barry Clymer Dr Sanghvi is very thorough and attentive to your questions and symptoms. The rest of the staff left a bad taste. They asked me.to move my appointment up so I gladly then they still had me sit in the waiting room for one hour and called patients that had appointment times after mine.

In a few minutes they called my name had my vitals done and a short time later had my appointment with Dr Crisco which went very well! Everyone that I saw before Dr. Jones was very professional which makes me feel relaxed and want to continue coming back. Dt. Jones does not rush in and out of the office. Schawn Todd I have been seeing Dr.Jago for a year, she is amazing. I feel that listens and educates about the choices to you. She is compassionate and extremely attentive. However I recently had a very complex surgery and have needed very important medical guidance and I never get a return call from the office I wait hrs and call again, one occasion I needed to call in 3 times, this was the day after I was discharged from the hospital. Again I need medical advice a possible Infection from my incision and I am still waiting. Where is the communication here?!

Rob Lappa Excellent surgeon. Experienced, detailed, mindful, friendly and very professional. Many doctors recommend him. His dedication to surgery and ability to educate and reassure patients is impressive. UPDATE: Had a second surgery with Dr. Hsu over 4 years after my first surgery and still find him to be a fantastic surgeon and an extremely professional and friendly physician. If all doctors were even half as caring, skilled and focused as Dr. Hsu, it would transform health care in this country. I hope he has as many years of practice ahead of him as he wishes and will recommend him to anyone who needs a surgeon without the slightest hesitation.

Prior to being diagnosed with colon cancer, for several years I had been misdiagnosed with colitis, diverticulitis, and other GI-related issues. I had surgery booked to remove a potential mass 1 month after diagnosis, at which time, I became very ill and was hospitalized. During my hospitalization, I had been treated for C-Diff, ulcerative colitis, and eventually sepsis. This is where I met Dr. Hsu, who immediately stepped in and recommended not waiting to perform surgery as I had planned with another surgeon a month later. Post-surgery, he let me know that I had a baseball-sized mass that could have ruptured and caused serious risks and was largely the reason I had been hospitalized with other infections up until surgery. Dr. Hsus expertise and compassion shone through at every step of the journey. He took the time to explain my condition in a way that was easy to understand, and his reassuring presence provided me with a sense of hope during a difficult time.The surgery he performed to remove the mass was nothing short of remarkable. His precision and skill are second to none, and the entire medical team that works with him is top-notch. Thanks to his dedication and expertise, I emerged from the surgery successfully and on the path to recovery. Not only is Dr. Hsu an outstanding surgeon, but he is also a genuinely caring and kind human being. Paul Sebring Dr Zub has been my PCP for 6 years. He genuinely cares about my health and has made referrals to specialist whenever it was necessary. He is always ready to answer my questions. I am very appreciative for all he has done for me.

Laura Bollmann My first visit he didnt review my previous diagnostics and claimed he didnt have any info. I had been a patient at his facility with a different doctor who complained that I was requesting too many specialist appointments so I switched to Zub hoping he could help me or get me to the right specialist. He told me over and over that my symptoms were "all in my head" and when I started crying he did nothing to console me, and seemed annoyed that I was crying. I requested my patient history and I did have documented diagnostics he could have seen and I have since been worked up at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville and have a degenerative, incurable connective tissue disorder, fibromyalgia, and mast cell activation syndrome plus I am waiting on some additional test results. I would not see him if you have PTSD (which my anxiety and PTSD were well documented there). I shared my experience with someone at work and they said they had a similar dismissive experiences.

Richard Gibson Have been using Flagler Family for the past 25 years. A few years ago my Primary Physician retired, and I was eventually assigned to Dr. Zub. I was very apprehensive, but Dr. Zub has been a pleasant surprise. I am totally satisfied with the care he has given me.

Sarh Max The front desk clerk was quick and professional in getting us right in. Our nurse, Adrian, was exceptional. She constantly kept us updated throughout the process, and my spouse said she was gentle when it came to inserting the IV. The hospital and rooms were very clean. The only thing we all agreed on was that the doctor was rude and short with us. He was a bald, 510 mid-40s male doctor.

Ellie G Usually hospitals but everyone here was so nice and the doctor was very empathetic treated me right away! Never in my life have I had this type of service… They gave me the warmest blanket, as if taken out of the dryer.. and the doctor tried to save me money! God bless!

Nariyoshi Miyagi I’ve never had such a positive experience with any care team in my life. The medical staff were quick and efficient in diagnosing and caring for my son in such a compassionate way. The nurse even knew the names of dinosaurs our son was showing to her. Truly a spectacular team of healthcare providers. I don’t recall the Doctor’s name but he was amazing! We were only in the ER for at most 30 minutes. We were on vacation for the weekend and I wish we had such dedicated and efficient healthcare providers where we live in central Florida. The people of St. Augustine are in great hands and so lucky to have such great people caring for them!

Monika Hartman We were in the ER in need of stitches. The front desk gentleman and nurses were so nice. Sure, we had to wait, just like being in any ER. It was not longer than any other time we have had trips to the ER. The waiting room was clean and we were happy with the care that my son received.

I had just gotten into a car accident this week and went to urgent care with some severe pain. Unfortunately, the doctor on site was more worried about getting me out quickly than listening to my concerns, Dr. Monroe took his time listened helped me calm down and got me what I needed. I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you so much Dr. Monroe for not just being a doctor for having empathy and such a busy time.

Rhonda Haire Dr Farhat has been a primary doctor for my mom for many years since he first came to town. She had issues with severe bile reflux for many of those years. She was being treated by an internal Dr who referred out of town for the bile reflux issue. She had gotten so bad that ER visits with phenomia were becoming the norm. Dr Farhat researched and found a Dr in town to see her. Within a few weeks from the first visit with this Dr, she had surgery to take care of the issue. With him wanting to keep her in town she is in her recovery as we speak. My mom praises him daily for saving her life and her current recovery process. She no longer is having the reflux issue.

Sunday Reams I also have been going to Dr. FARHAT SINCE I MOVED HERE , about 17 years ago. I always had complete confidence in Dr. Farhat. He was the best doctor in st Augustine. I was informed at my last visit a couple weeks ago. He could no longer treat me since I have Medicare and Blue cross , unless I joined humana . It will be hard to find another doctor like him. He took good care of me all these years. He went through quiet a few doctors to find a doctor to do the disk surgery I needed an that surgery has given me my quality of life back. Jacqui Dracup I have been going to Dr Farhat for over 15 years and he has always taken great care of myself and my husband. Sadly after my visit today I was informed that, as of January they will no longer accept my health insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare). They will only take patients that have Humana. Very disappointed in having to find a new doctor at our age.

Wolf Bronson My Mom who is 89 has been a patient of Dr. Farhat for over 5 years. The week before Thanksgiving she began to feel very tired & developed a fever. I called Dr. Farhat and he requested that I take her to Flagler ER to get checked out . Turns out Mom had Covid Pneumonia and she was admitted to the hospital. As my whole family worried , Dr Farhat and his amazing team of doctors & specialists developed their plan to defeat the virus & clear the pneumonia from Mom’s lungs. Treatment including Remdesvir was decided upon and within 2 days she was on a remarkable path to full recovery. She spent a total of 4 1/2 days at Flagler Hospital where the staff was superb and compassionate. Even on the weekend, Dr Farhat still stopped in to check on her and with his good sense of humor kept her spirits up. Although spending 5 days in the hospital is no real fun , we as a family were 1000% happy with the care Mom received and are extremely thankful to Dr Farhat & his team for their competence & professionalism as well as the wonderful staff at Flagler Hospital ! January Turner Take the negative reviews of this practice A.K.A Maetozo Total Womans Care of St Augustine, Florida very seriously. The medical staff here are dismissive, Insensitive, and arent sufficiently trained in my opinion on treatment or supporting patients. Many times you cant get in touch with office staff. Ive had front office staff recommend medication to me without direction from my provider, and just recently a scheduled essential procedure was canceled the day before the appointment. I could go on and on about their hidden charges, inability to discuss treatment options, and gaslighting about your health concerns but Id be here all day. Do yourself a favor and find a practice that cares about you.

Rainbow Strike Dr Maetozo and her entire staff are compassionate and caring. They go above and beyond to find solutions to problems, and it is an upbeat office. In my many years as a patient I have always been impressed. Dr Maetozo’s intuition and recommendation years ago likely saved the life of my daughter, who is now also a patient of hers. For women having perimenopause/menopausal issues I can attest that your concerns will be taken seriously. And a good sense of humor abounds in this practice which is fun as well! Highly recommend!

Rachel Moran-Brown I had my annual exam with one of the ARNPs Diane, and as I asked about perimenopause because I’m over 40, the woman just left the room and another ARNP came into the room. She was invalidating and dismissive and defensive as I was describing my subjective experience with perimenopause and hormones. I am a licensed mental health counselor and deeply interested and invested in research and understanding the complexities of hormones and this stage of life. Her response was patronizing and belittling. I will not be returning. Shauna was my practitioner last year and was amazing so I do recommend her but would never recommend the practice in general.

Amy J Consider this a ZERO star review. This practice is horrible from top to bottom. Dr. Maetozo watched me cry through a procedure without even asking what was wrong rather than allowing my husband into the room to just hold my hand. She repeatedly stated that I couldnt possibly be in pain, when I was. I also have an anxiety disorder which she was told before the procedure began. No doctor or person has the right to tell another that they are or arent in pain. When I approached her about HRT and menopause symptoms she ONLY recommended pellets and MonaLisa touch both of which she makes money from because insurance doesnt cover them. She prescribed vaginal estrogen only without the addition of progesterone which I have since learned is very bad practice for a women who still has a uterus. To top it all off, they use a patient portal that they have no control over. I received email messages from their portal every few months. I always took the print outs into the office to discuss because I couldnt find the message that the portal message said I had received. They just kept saying they would report it but they didnt know either. Every 6 months for three years I asked them to do something. Ive since moved on from the practice. First of all they refuse to send me or my new provider my records despite sending them through the mail my written permission (they say HIPAA required I pick them up in person or pay to have them sent which is funny because it doesnt say that when I google and Ive never had another provider require this) AND Im still receiving these messages from THEIR portal and theyre still saying they have no control over the portal. Dont go to this practice, they just want to make money and be rude.

Annie Joy Physician’s Pain Center employs the most caring, compassionate people who take your pain seriously. You are made to feel like you are important to the staff and that you are getting the most excellent care. Everyone there from the top notch physicians to the receptionist will treat you with empathy and respect. My pain, though severe, is now manageable and I’m extremely grateful to Dr. Patel and the PAs for all their help and care.

Chris Hazlett The staff here is very friendly but also very professional. They are strict regarding pill count so don’t try to mess with them! That being said, they are also quite compassionate. If you really have chronic pain. You can’t do better than these folks.

I ended having surgery and ask my surgeon-Dr Hsu who he would recommend. He refered me to her. I have been pleased with not only the excellent quality of care she offers but also her responsiveness to calls when Ive needed her help or when she calls me after test. She is professional and kind , accepts my input and involves me indecisions about caring for my health. I appreciated being treated by this caring and knowledgeable physician. I was in the hospital on vacation. I had them send her my records. She found a mass that no one else found with all the xrays that have been taken of me thru the years. george sommerer Not sure where the patient info comes from, or how up-to-date it is, but recently asked about "experience" at cardiovascular rehab that supposedly took place 2 days ago. My husband (the subject of the survey) passed away almost a year ago. Having them ask about his "recent experience" was so insensitive and rude! I found it unnerving to receive this email. Certainly hope they did not submit an insurance claim for rehab session that could not have taken place.

B. McDavitt at my first appointment the doctor was well over an hour behind in his schedule and was ON THE ROOF of the building while 3 patients waited in his waiting room. I had to leave and reschedule. When I met the doctor the following visit, he was kind, professional and easy to speak with. During that appointment I listed for them the medications I am currently taking one of which is an oinment (muprocin) that is needed for an intermittent skin condition. I called a month ago and asked the office to put a rx on file at my pharmacy so when the condition popped up it was easily dealt with. I called back at the end of the same day to inform the receptionist it had not been called in yet and she assured me it would be. Fast forward a month, I call the pharmacy to have the rx filled and low and behold it had NEVER BEEN SUBMITTED. I call the office to inquire and they tell me there is nothing in the sytem and he is not in the office so they dont know when he will be able to fill it. Why would I subject myself to this as a patient?

Saint Augustine Nurse Nadine is a tyrant. She makes sure her patients follow their orders. However her brash approach, she always leaves me happy at the end. Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone elsewhere, but mostly I know I made the right choice here at Flagler Health Home Care.

Karen Please think twice about using this organization, a few nurses are good but for the supervisor was unable to even read my prescription on i.v. antibiotics. There practice of not reading the doctors order to the rudeness of management makes for a disaster, thankfully I was aware of how to use i.v.
