Melanie Truman Dr Talton is a fantastic doctor, spends time addressing my questions and concerns (even when Ive been a bit obtuse about understanding a diagnosis) and is open minded with regards to working with our eastern medicine doctor. Her administrative assistant is very nice and polite making it no longer a chore to call the doctors office. It is so nice not to hear, "If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911. To leave a message for the nurse, please dial 2...!" You call and speak to a real person right away, no recorded messages! I highly recommend Dr Talton and her direct primary care practice!

Sherry R Dr Dube is the best doctor I’ve ever had. Throughout the years he has taken very good care of me, over and above what a doctor does. He listens very carefully. He reviews all notes and is up to date on all of my records. He’s always concerned about my well being. His assistant is a kind helpful, and decent person. She has always been very diligent to return my calls and is the best at listening and making sure I am well cared for. The staff is friendly and helpful. I appreciate them. It’s almost impossible to find a good doctor who is very knowledgeable and up to date in his field that is the most competent doctor I have ever had. I have an almost ten year relationship with him. Mary Rients Doctor Jordan was phenomenal when I broke a bone in my left foot. He explained everything & what I needed to do to prevent not having to go through surgery as a last resort. I will recommend anyone to go to Dr. Jordan with any orthopedic issues they may have which I have already recommended a friend of mine to go see him. He is a very good & professional orthopedic doctor!

S I originally had a 5 star review because Dr.Hoffman is incredibly smart and helpful. He is an amazing doctor himself. I had to change it to a one, because scheduling any PT or any attempts to call are futile. If there is any mishap in paperwork or conversation you’re stuck hoping someone will answer. Physical therapist office says there’s no active order to see me despite being there a week ago. No one answers and then you’re stuck. Same situation applies to the FMLA paperwork if you need it to be filled out correctly - good luck. Sucks because I love my actual doctors but being tossed around to answering machines is painful and disheartening at best. I just want access to the treatment that my doctor is directing me to do.

Celeste Roloff Dr. Jordan is absolutely the best. My knee replacement surgery went really well. He warned me to do my therapy, which was painful, but if you follow his advice your healing process will go much better and faster than if you dont. Also, the therapists in his group are great at their job. I highly recommend him.

In-Suk Oh Dr. Jordan was very sharp and quick to diagnose my leg issue which turns out to be multi-pronged problem. He was attentive to explain the issues and treatment plan so that a layman can understand. Very appreciative.

Andrew Young Dr. Hoffman was my Doctor for my hip replacement. His knowledge and self confidence shines thru. Everyone on his staff was the best. From the beginning everyone knew their job. Deborah Romano It was great experience from the time we arrived. My mom has been treated here last year and she was impressed. I had to go just recently for as I found out an upper respiratory infection along with a sinus infection. Awesome Dr or PA. Meds worked. My mom caught it from me as being older hers was worst. They took an X-ray in office to make sure it was not worse like pneumonia. Very pleased. I’d make them my PCP if it was possible!!! I’d rather pay the $40 co-pay then try to get an appointment with the PCP, IMPOSSIBLE.

Kelsey Lyons Was seen by Francisco yesterday and can not say enough lovely things about him and the rest of the staff. This was my second urgent care and I finally got the right diagnosis and was feeling so much better within 24 hours. They are all extremely efficient while still being friendly and attentive.

Kathryn Petrillo Worst urgent care. I was seen on Saturday 1/18/25. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The triage nurse, dont know his name, was not nice. He asked a question and when I went to explain he told me yes or no is all he needs that I was making it more difficult. When the Doctor came in the room, he asked if I did a home COVID test, listened to my lungs, looked down my throat said he was giving me an antibiotic and Prednisone, then left the room. The receptionist at the desk told me what he ordered for me and how to take it. I will never go back there again.

Falon Cooper I’ve been here a few times and it’s okay for the convenience of being close to my house. The doctors are okay and the receptionists are always nice and friendly. But I have a secondary insurance and the company doesn’t wait long enough for them both to be processed. They even told me that they sent it but it was denied, which isn’t true, it was being processed and they didn’t wait long enough for an answer. So now Ive been charged and both insurance companies have paid the bills. There is no phone number for the billing department either. So now I have to take the time to get the information needed from the insurance companies and email that to Helix so I can get a refund to my card since they got DOUBLE PAID! It’s inconvenient and unnecessary and the company should really have a better process.

Mary Dalton I have been seen at Back in Action for 9 years. I can never thank the staff there adequately. From the time you enter the front door, you are welcomed by friendly staff. I have been seen by physicians, urgent care, chiropractic and physical therapy services. Several times I have been seen for evaluation, suffering in severe pain and unable to walk without assistance. I recently finished a therapy program with Dr. Hanson. She is a doctorate prepared physical therapist. She not only addresses the problem but insures that you stay functional after you leave. I always have detailed instructions in writing. Results count, I am able to walk 2 miles everyday, kayak and bike. Thank you so much. Michael Gates I started at BIA for rehab after a lot of tests and neurology doctors could not help me. As a chiropractic skeptic I had my reservations. BIA doctors got creative and collaborated on my issues. To my surprise, I got immediate results. They continued to collaborate through out my rehab and I am happily on the road to recovery. I have since started with their functional medicine program and used them for a preop clearance. I trust BIA. You can too.

Brittany Pilallis Established with them as primary care and then ended up getting sick and tried to make an appointment and they pushed me off to their urgent care. I explained that I didn’t wanna pay for an urgent care visit because it’s more expensive and that’s why I established care with the doctor and they said unfortunately, that was their policy. But if you are symptomatic, they request for you to go to the urgent care. What’s the point of having a doctor if when you’re sick or not feeling well, you have to go to see somebody else.

Gary Kruegel Nurse practioner Gaddis is the worst thing that ever happened to this place. She gave me an Ineffective and incorrect antibiotic for an infection and let me languish for months before getting the correct one which was told to her initially, but she knew better. Arrogant and unpleasant. Wouldnt refill a prescription for my wife which had unlimited refills ( non narcotic) without charging her for a visit. Wanted to charge me for expensive uneccessary blood work. Stay far away from her, she is the worst

amy m My 96 year old mother who was no longer leaving her home, still needed care, even though she had documents stating she wanted little intervention. I always respected her wishes, while still trying to keep on top of simple medical needs. We had tried a couple of concierge nurse practioners, but it wasnt until I came across this organization (unfortunately late in the game), that I found the right fit for her. Her doctor Trevor Bailey was kind, understanding and helpful, but never pushed her to do any procedure she refused. He understood that her advanced age and my understanding of her desires allowed us both to make the best decisions for her. There was a regular number to call Monday through Friday like a normal doctors office and after hours they had a call number which I thought was fantastic and professional. He helped me decide when it was time to call hospice in and supported my decision to do so. He was always respectful to me and my mom without treating her like she was a child. This is an extremely valuable service for anyone who has a loved one who needs a doctor to come to them. They provide all the services they need also. I recommend them highly!

Mary Gould I have been being treated by Doctors House Calls for many years now. I have a great relationship with the whole staff. Becky, Lisa, Christine and Tonya are so caring.They are all very attentive to all of my needs which makes me feel very special. Ali visits me every month. She is awesome!!! Mr. Thomas A. Anderson Excellent doctor. Dr. B. cares for his patients and goes the extra mile for his patients. The staff is the opposite. Exam orders go unfulfilled, and the staff practically hangs up on you, they leave you talking to yourself on the phone (I had this experience with Lisa and Becky). You are transferred to Becky to follow up on imaging and labs and there no way to leave a message. Christina makes the appointments, she answers the phone 1 time but not the 2nd time. I would not recommend if your loved one has urgent needs. I leave 2 stars only because the doctor is caring.

Ray Schwartz I needed to get a specific government form completed for my two parents who had just been relocated to an Assisted Living Facility in South Florida. Their regular doctors were no longer close by, and driving my parents around to find a physician was not realistic. I was given a very short list of possible travel doctors from the attorney do get this task done. By sheer chance, I contacted Doctors House Calls. I spoke with Jenna, and she was able to put into motion all that was necessary to get this task done. A very complicated process was very quickly turned into a very easy one thanks to Jenna and Doctors House Calls. A suitable day & time was scheduled, and a physician went to the ALF to meet my parents and got the paperwork completed. Dealing with legal/medical matters from 1200 miles away is scary. But finding the people who were able to get it done is a blessing. I could not be more pleased.

I had to get a last minute test before traveling and she fit me into her schedule that next morning! She arrived on time, wearing a mask and made me feel comfortable the entire time. Deborah Galtere Parking was a nightmare. Not enough handicapped parking areas. Drive around for a long time before even finding a regular parking spot. Go early if you have an appointment here because you may have to wait in your car to catch someone coming out in order to park your car.

They were also able to do an EKG, give shots and take blood. That is very convenient with a busy schedule. I didn’t feel I was being rushed through like other doctor’s offices. I would highly recommend the Day Medical Center.

Wes Skerven They have been my PCP provider for 8 years and I would not go anywhere else! Everyone is so kind in the office, especially Millie. My nurse practitioner, Katie Diamond, always has my best interests in mind and is always thoughtful about the care she provides.

Gail McGillicuddy Lousy - when the doctor quit the practice (no other information given) we were treated like an annoyance. There is no doctor there anymore or at least we were not given any reason for the doctor suddenly quitting or an appointment to see another doctor. Not even a referral. When you call them you always get voicemail. Then you wait 2 - 3 days for a call back and then they act like you’re just bothering them. ZERO compassion from the staff & few clinicians that still work there. We get treated better at our veterinary clinic. What a shame. Martin County’s elderly population deserves better than this. Pathetic. Don’t bring your parents here.

Norm Curington Amazing. Refreshing. Unique. Rare. All words we use to describe the super care my 84 year old mom receives from this organization. Meredith is our assigned nurse practitioner. But the whole team is incredible. Time is a precious commodity in the healthcare world, but this group seems to value high quality personal care far above time. Meredith gives precious time to my mom, listening, observing and finding ways to make sure her health is optimal. We frankly had some major issues likely related to drug interactions before we met with this clinical team. They quickly coordinated care, and made medicine adjustments among other things. Mom has not been this healthy in a long time. She raves about Meredith. And during the pandemic they readily offered house calls for all their services. We’ve NEVER heard of this type of service before. And we feel blessed to have found it. I assume this is what healthcare looked like years ago; somehow they’ve manage to offer the best of clinical support and the time to listen. We are deeply indebted to them.

Judie Rebele I love the Physical & Occupational Therapists. This is my 3rd time in 3 years. Encompass is always my first choice. The place is always totally clean. They treat you like a person no matter your age. Their food happens to be better than most. I cant recommend this place more. Totally happy when in-patient! Kudos to Hannah, Dana, Judy, Alana, Leslie and I know I left out some major players not on purpose but I hate goodbyes.

Lou Albano My experience at Encompass Health location was much different than I would have imagined. Because I didn’t plan on breaking my hip, I just wanted to watch some TV from my bed. After falling on the floor in my home, I figured there would be a change in plans. The next thing was recall is waiting for a surgeon to put me together. Son after , was informed by a doctor that I would need to enter a Rehabilitation Center. So the next day, I was on my way to Encompass Health. Not knowing what to expect, I just did what I was asked of me by so many professional workers. Everyone at Encompass was as kind as you could imagine, and they got me up and about in two weeks.

Jayeesha Dutta Therapists here are wonderful, which is what is most important in an acute rehab center. Thank you to Victoria, Amanda, Hannah, Antonio and Jessica for the incredible job in getting my mom walking and talking within a few weeks after a major stroke. The food is great and for the most part, nurses and techs are caring and competent - with a few outstanding sheros. We did have a couple of hiccups and one pretty bad nurse who we had to request not be assigned to my mom but other than that, Encompass is the best place I could imagine sending someone needing acute rehab services in a clean and comfortable environment.

Angel Santana My wife was taking to the center and was unconscious when she found out that she was in the rehab facility she got very upset and a doctor and a nurse came in and told her that they were going to take care for she needed good care. They got her to take therapy and all she needed. The experience she had was good and happy with everyone, she keeps falling and though she is still in therapy she talks about the center and the treatment she got from the doctors and all the personnel at the center.

He is quite friendly and knowledgeable and also offers chelation therapy for treatment of atherosclerosis.

Susan Weiner This is the nicest, kindest, and knowledgeable doctor one can hope to see. He truly cares for his patients and listens to them. He has the ethics of an old fashioned physician who is not on a time clock rushing in and out of his office for the next appointment. He diagnosed me quickly and is getting my thyroid back to normal carefully watching my blood work results. I feel blessed that he came highly recommended as I am rarely at the doctors. I couldn’t say enough good things about him.

Its like going to the family doctor of years ago- a personal touch and no rushing. He also practices holistic healthcare as well as traditional medicine. The best of both worlds!

Lexi M If your pet needs help, bring them here! It was our first time coming to PEMC when we came home from an over night trip and one of our kitties seemed extremely sick. We were weary of just dropping our pet off, but the staff and doctors were so knowledgeable and reassuring. Within not even 10 mins of our boy Stitch being taken inside, the vet was out to speak to us about him. Our boy was in a “life threatening state of shock” due to a urinary blockage. They wasted no time caring for Stitch, they called and updated me with any changes, good or bad. Everyone I spoke to was honest (even through the bad news) and very kind and patient with all my concerns and questions. They saved our boy’s life, he didn’t have high chances of making it but they did everything they could and they got him back to health. Dr. Shepard and Steven, I thank you both with every beat of my heart. You were kind, honest, Knowledgeable, and very caring to all my concerns, questions, and most importantly, towards my kitty and his health needs. I cannot reiterate enough, IF YOUR PET NEEDS HELP, BRING THEM HERE! We took our boy home this morning and couldn’t be more grateful.

Jason Flannery First, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Jason, the initial veterinarian we met. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Nancy Mattee was deeply disappointing. We found her to be unkind and unprofessional, lacking the bedside manner that is so crucial during difficult times. It was especially disheartening to feel dismissed during a period when we were vulnerable and worried about our beloved dog. We made a very hard decision to remove our dog from the care of Pet Emergency of Martin County. Thankfully, we were able to transfer our dog to another hospital, where the staff was compassionate and caring. They provided the support we desperately needed and were instrumental in keeping our dog alive. We encourage others to read Dr. Mattees responses to patient reviews to get an idea of her approach. It’s sad to think that this is what some people might encounter in our community. Had we followed her advice, the outcome for our dog could have been dire. We’re not coming from a place of anger, but rather an earnest desire to share our experience. We hope others can be more cautious when considering this veterinarian, as we believe in the importance of compassionate care for our pets. Please look at the responses from this vet to other people in our community that have a negative review, go to yelp and other sites to see firsthand the responses given.

Kay S Not sure how to say thank you enough for saving my dog Glorias life. Dr Montilla is by far one of the best vets Ive ever encountered. His bedside manner is just as stellar as his expertise and talent. I was blown away by not only how he handled our case but every other pet owner in the parking lot that night. He is Kind, compassionate, patient, straightforward, informative, and understanding. All qualities that are pertinent when your loved one is experiencing an emergency- but very few have them all. Caitlin, Stephen, jason, Tara and a few other techs also deserve the best praise in the world. All Extremely thorough and calm but honest. Caitlin- thank you thank you thank you. Im sorry I was a mess. Your energy and advice calmed me and helped me tremendously that night. Dr Giovonda thank you for also taking care of Gloria in the ICU the next day and releasing her with the most detailed and easy to read instructions. Cannot recommend this practice enough. The exterior does it no justice. I was wary when I arrived - but they far exceeded my expectations. Thank you forever for saving my babys life.

John Wilde Dr. Talton provides excellent care and she is just what I needed after being served poorly by traditional primary care. Not only medically very knowledgeable but she is very personable and gets to know her patients as people.

Bruce Morrison I would not recommend this doctor to anybody she stands at her front door and guards her parking spaces. and runs everybody off that she doesnt recognize as her own patient. A little courtesy, professional demeanor and personal hygiene goes a long way with your credibility and your communication skills. This doctor could obviously use a personal shopper to help achieve a professional appearance. What a shame that a "professional doctor" has to be so rude and inconsiderate to persons with disabilities!

Direct Primary Care has exceeded my expectation, I feel listened to and feel the health plan Dr. Talton developed with me is custom to me and my lifestyle, not a cookie cutter response to get patients in and out the door. Carolyn Wilsey Love Dr Calas, he’s easy to talk to and very knowledgeable I feel I’m in good hands with him. I also Love his office staff. She has brought his office into the 22nd century and made it very efficient. Can’t say enough good things about the Dr and his staff.

Glenn Strickland My experience with Martin Health Physicians Group has been very good. An earlier review talked about an ER, but I dont think the facility on Ocean Blvd is an ER - it is just a doctors office with a lab. I see Dr Dogra there, and he is a good doctor in my opinion. When I go in for an appointment, they always see me right away. The nurses are very friendly and professional too. I like the fact that this is part of a system of care, and my records are available to other doctors in the system. When I need a lab test, I can go to the nearest Martin County Health lab, and the doctor gets the results the same day. My only complaint is, it took a long time (almost two months) to get the first appointment with Dr Dogra as my primary care doctor. After that, I have had no problems.

EJD Productions Slowest ER i have ever been too. Only 6 people in waiting room and none of them seem like they need emergency treatment except one guy bleeding from his head who has been here longer then us. All they are doing for him is wheeling him in and out of a room to slow the bleeding. No concern for anyones well being. Thank god we are leaving Stuart.

Hannah Warner I went to this “Doctor W” during my middle and high school years. Can’t believe she is still around. She was awful and I am still traumatized from the way she made me feel. I had a lot of digestive and stomach issues and she would yell at me about them as though I was lying and just threw me on anti-depressants. Also, pushed the gardasil vaccine when it was newer, and it doesn’t even work. Horrible! Do not take your children to her. She could care less, just wants the kickbacks from pharma at the end of the day.

Elizabeth Vale I love Dr. Wicina, but I can no longer recommend her or any other doctor associated with Cleveland Clinic. We have a Christian health share program that covers everything except for preventative care - for that we are self-pay. We have never had an issue being self-pay until they changed their billing practices at Dr. Wicina’s office. I was charged over $1,500 for a doctors visit, 2 shots, and a hemoglobin test even though I called ahead of time and was quoted $150 for a preventative visit. In the past, we’ve been charged $12 for a shot - this time I was charged $1,000 for two shots. Yes, you read that right, $1,000 even though my kids had visited the same office less than a year prior for $12. I am truly in shock. And they just keep telling me this is what we charge. I looked up the CDC cost of those shots - $23.

Chris C Dr. W. has been our two kids pediatrician for more than 8 years and we love her and the staff in the office. Getting appointments is easy and the staff is always helpful. When Dr. W. is in with our kids, she goes out of her way to make them fell comfortable and important. Would strongly recommend her.

Leaslie James First experience and it was great!! Very friendly and helpful staff, and Dr.Wicina was great. Answered all my questions, that my previous pediatrician would or could not. Wait time was minimal, and they all made my daughter feel at ease as she normally does not like going to the doctor. Thank you for your valuable time! We are happy we made the switch!

Leslie Walling By far the best pediatric practice ever. The sick kid hours, the separate waiting rooms for sick kids and wellness-visit kids, the amazingly kind, personable, and professional staff, and Susan Bravo and Dr. Wicina in perfect synchronicity. They have cared for my son since he was very young, and they will keep him on as his primary care team until he graduates from college or turns 25-yrs. old. He was ecstatic to find out that he wouldnt have to find a new doc just because he turned 18, and we were ecstatic that he has such a great doc that we all trust to call upon if he needs something - even from Gainesville. To the poor mom who made such derogatory statements about them being unable to see her preemie, I understand how frustrating and stressful that would be. However, I also think that if my baby had been in that much distress, I would not have taken him to his docs office to begin with; he wouldve gone straight to the ER. (My son was also pre-term - 6 weeks, as was I - 8 weeks. If its any consolation, we both turned out pretty well.) Best wishes to you and your baby. :)
