April NeSmith Amazing! Very patient, kind, knowledgeable and has an amazing sense of humor. The most important thing is he is not fooled by meddling troubling family members. He was able to read my body language when he was asking questions in front of my toxic family. Most doctors would have missed all of that.

Kaile Zhang I can’t recommend Dr. Morales and his team enough! They have been incredibly supportive and helpful during my wife’s high-risk pregnancy and postpartum journey. Dr. Morales is patient, thorough, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. Every visit was a pleasant and comforting experience. He remembered details about my wife’s condition and would proactively address any concerns we had, often bringing them up before we even needed to ask. The level of attention made us feel seen and reassured. The entire staff are always pleasant and welcoming. They are easy to reach and responsive. We’re so grateful for the care and service we received and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and caring OB doctor.

Amanda Kinsey Dr Morales is the best! We absolutely love him! Him and Dr Hall delivered my daughter 9 years ago, and recently I had my son. Things got a little complicated at the hospital, but with his guidance and trust things all worked out for the best. Highly recommend using him and his office for any of your needs!

Were being treated like queens and kings, as we should with much love to share. The Doctors and Nurses are so amazing.

Thank you Dr Jain and thank you Joe S and a huge thank you to the nurses in the infusion center and lab. Stephanie Scanlan-Carr

Coley Voyles For the past ten months I have been coming to TMH CANCER Center and every one that works there that took care of me obviously loves their job. I made mention of this to several of my nurses and they all agreed… it is a good place to work. Dr. Morris and the staff there with Gods blessing has given me and my family a new lease on life. Hopefully in a few months I will be free of cancer after a bone marrow transplant. My experience there was nothing less than great due to people that love what they do and people who care. Thank you all for making my journey with cancer a little more bearable. You are the best! Charles Voyles

TMH Physician Partners - Cancer & Hematology

Address: 1775 One Healing Place 2nd Floor, Tallahassee, FL 32308

(81) Reviews TMH Physician Partners - Cancer & Hematology:

Jenaya Murray I’ve been there before multiple times and never had an issue but today was just not a great experience. I went in last week for labs and apparently the system had changed so I had to wait almost 2.5 hours (I was patient and understanding) I came back today for my appointment, and was told my labs were thrown out and I needed to do them again. Again, I was patient and understanding however my 10 month old baby was not, as any baby would after being there for approximately 1.5 hours at this point. As he was whining one of the lab staff members came and tried to take my stroller and ride the baby around. I asked her nicely to keep him by me as he’s not used to being around people. She tried to tug on the stroller with me until I got full control of it and rolled it in. After a few minutes of waiting my baby wanted to sit on my lap . I let him and after the woman put the needle in my arm, where I couldn’t move, another woman came and snatched my baby out my arm. When I asked for my baby back, she turned him away from me and said “he’s fine!” Even though he was SCREAMING louder . I never felt so helpless and uncomfortable since I couldn’t even get up or take my baby back. The amount of staff members who came and got close to his face and even touched my baby without asking permission was beyond belief. No one should feel comfortable touching anyone else’s child without permission. And no one should refuse to return a baby to their mother when asked. I’m beyond upset and frustrated with the experience today.

Connie McCarthy From the moment I walk in the door I am treated with kindness and respect. My Oncologist, Dr Peabody is a great doctor and his knowledge is outstanding. He answers all my questions and never makes me feel like I am taking too long. The nurses in lab area are great too and the infusion nurses also. The lady that brings the lunches and snacks is so kind and thoughtful. I cannot express my thanks enough to all who have treated me at the cancer center.

Lori Alberstadt Dr Peabody and the intern were friendly, reviewed my test results, asked if I had questions and addressed my concerns. I know they have my best interest at heart and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

Claire Sand I cannot say enough good things about the TMH cancer center. Dr. Morris is wonderful and the entire staff, from the kind lab technicians to the caring nurses to the friendly volunteers walking around offering snacks and making everyone feel a little better, they know how to make everyone feel comfortable during a very scary time during their lives.

Cait Davis I have seen a lot of doctors in my lifetime, and Dr. Cody is by FAR the best I have ever had the pleasure of working with! He is my entire familys doctor (infant twins, toddler, husband and I) and I can truly say he cares about each person as a whole- you are not just a "number" to him. He never makes you feel silly for asking questions, does not rush you, and is extremely knowledgeable. He has consistently always put my worries at ease, and I am so incredibly thankful to have found him! This also goes for the entire staff and operation of the office-outstanding practice!! Thank you Dr. Cody for making such a difference in our lives!

Svetlana Pevnitskaya I had very good experience with this office/doctor for several years however a later development suggested he (and his office) may not be transparent, fully honest and direct with a patient. I have left a review with details in the past but it has been removed. Here is the summary of my impression from that visit. On December 28, 2020, I had an appointment with Dr. C. VanLandingham (CVL), who was my primary at the time, to consult regarding that it appeared a local specialist (in cardiology) left a false damaging record after my extensive complaints about that specialist following a procedure. Moreover, to consult on that it appeared that in violation of HIPPA the full record was withheld from me. The facts since have shown that I was correct in my independent assessment. CVL however was apparently not "working for me." It appears (as indicated in the bottom of this) that he allowed observation by a third party in his office/lobby without disclosing to me. Similarly, without disclosure and based not on mine, his patients, but on third party request, CVL started questioning me without informing me that he was asked to sign a paperwork to be used in legal proceedings. There should be no circumstances in my opinion when the primary care doc hides from the patient that he is doing evaluations, moreover, evaluation requested by someone else, and does it when the patient comes with expectation of full privacy, trust, and confidentiality. I was shocked by what was going on during that December 2020 appointment and was fully aware albeit completely stunned, shocked, and numbed by it. It was surreal to see during that appointment and and also what is was like to be disregarded, treated as if I was not there as a human who has a say, to see my rights being hijacked. It appears CVL might have been mislead as he seemed to backtrack in later communications with me and indicated that the information he was given at the time was incomplete, but it was too late at that point. He may never do it again, to other patients, perhaps particularly due to my story, but it does appear that it was HIS signature that was used by a third party (possibly FSU PD or related authority) to start proceedings to destroy my rights *behind my back* in violation of human rights. Addition: in my previous review, and also now, I hesitated whether to include the following. During that conversation in 2020, CVL said that if I were to drop looking into it now (getting my full records), then nobody would find what happened except if I get life insurance. He might have thought that I saw the record. But since I was not given my full record, that phrase was stunning and surreal. Not only has it confirmed that I was right regarding false damaging info that was concealed, it indicated things that were severe, and that instead of encouraging me to resolve them and get to the bottom of it, I was told by CVL not to. Wow. Of course I had to find out what happened given all this, and indeed it lead to my loss of rights and its the horrific impacts. Being a very private person, it is unbelievable for me to write this, but I am not given other platform to communicate directly. Another addition: on January 14, 2019, I had an appointment with CVL. There was a couple sitting directly in front of me on a couch in the lobby, male and pregnant female, and the thing that caught my attention was their lack of talking and of body contact (in fact sitting at some distance), and that they seemed to look at me. I didnt think much of it and continued with my phone without even looking at their faces. They were called and surprisingly left just a few minutes afterwards while I was still waiting. This time I did look at their faces and was surprised to recognize Heather Costa-Barrow of FSU Police who I talked with just about a month prior when I was a witness to an on-campus incident. As I was about to smile and say "hi" she looked directly at me with what seemed like anger or hate and passed by without hello. In hindsight I wonder whether that was part of FSU PD investigation of me

Tara L Dr. Cody VanLandingham is the best physician with whom I have ever worked. He has always believed me and worked tirelessly to find answers, referring me to excellent specialists when they were better equipped to treat my symptoms. Thanks to him, I have a diagnosis and appropriate treatment and feel better today than I have in years.

Kyle Hawkins 1 year update: Still love this physician, his office staff are fantastic as well! Wait time was only bad the first time i went, ever since appointments have gone relatively quickly. My appointment took longer than I had hoped as I had to wait for the doctor for a bit. Despite that this is the single best appointment I have ever had with any doctor. Dr. Vanlandingham is very good at describing the conditions you have and the treatment he suggests as well as the expected outcome of the treatment. He even goes into detail about how he will proceed if the treatment isnt effective. He seems to be quite thorough, is very good at instilling a sense of ease and confidence in you, and his entire office seems well run and is filled with pleasant people. I have never felt as good about a doctors visit as I have with my visit to Dr. Vanlandingham. I am so happy I chose him as my primary care physician. TLDR: Wait time is a bit long, but the quality of service is superb. Best doctor I have ever been to.

Payton Spran Had a great experience with Patients First on Tennessee Street on March 3rd, 2025. I have been visiting this location for many years and always leave satisfied with the care provided. The visit was quick and easy with an appointment, and I felt that all of my concerns were properly addressed. The staff and healthcare personnel were friendly, educated, and happy to help. I especially enjoyed the woman working the front desk, who was exceptionally kind and great to speak with. I had my blood drawn by a medical assistant who did a great job. I would recommend this location for anyone in the FSU area, including students, who need medical attention in the urgent care setting.

Maryann Black They got me in and out of there in less than 45 minutes. The doctor was very nice kind and knowledgeable. She let me know right away what my problem was and prescribed for me so that I could get out of there and back home into a setting where I could hopefully get better quicker.

Smarty Pants As others have said, the billing department at this location charges credit cards days and weeks after the appointment took place with no permission or approval. Insurance information was provided and an attempt to bill the insurance was never made. They took credit card information that was used to pay the co-payment and charged a significant unauthorized amount close to 30 days after the patient left their office. Please check your credit card or debit card statements in the months after being seen at this location for fraudulent charges. The billing department phone number is manned by an AI bot and they refuse to allow you to speak to human being. Disgusting.

Jessica Myers The staff was so kind and saw me sooner than I expected. It was clean and sterile. It was just expensive, as urgent care goes. I wish I had been tested for RSV amid the other respiratory symptoms I was showing. I wonder why I wasnt...but overall, I would recommend and go back in an urgent situation. Ive added the prices for the services offered. A regular visit is $250.

Sarah EM At first I really liked this office. My last visit was actually a couple years ago. I went in with hormone issues. I described all of my symptoms and what I was feeling and what I thought it could be. I asked for bloodwork. She literally looked at me and said " I can look at you and tell nothing is wrong" while shaking her head no. Said if it was hormones I would have a mustache. Now I am having hormone issues that could have been helped if she had just listened. Always get a second opinion!!!

Kay Lubin NP Allie Tallent, good luck getting a smile out of this one. I’ve seen her twice and she just always seems mad. Which especially sucks when you are in a solely female environment. Expecting to be cared for in that way. Like girl go have a snickers! If you’re going for a regular check up, it may not be an issue but if you have a genuine concern about anything else STEER CLEAR. I was a patient of Dr. Franz for years and he was the best ever, having to get stuck with her the last two visits has been a NIGHTMARE.
2 /5
Esther Means Allie Tallent refused to lower the head of the examination table to check my cervix. Nurse Amber noticed the head of the table was not in proper position and asked permission to recline it. Allie quickly interrupted her request and demanded she leaves the table sitting straight up. I attempted to balance myself the best way possible, without endangering my unborn child, at the end of the table while trying to relax my lower body for the cervix check. I was shaking and unable to relax in this position. Her carelessly dangerous, unprofessional, and inappropriate behavior has me terrified to entrust North Florida Women’s Care with the delivery of my son. Childbirth requires genuine care for both mother and child. Allie proved she has neither

Trinity Hall Unprofessional!!! My very first time here the LPN lady who was getting my vitals and asking me questions was very rude to me then proceeded to try and flirt with my husband in my face until I went off! Second time the ultrasound lady was very rude and was mad because my baby was moving around and she couldnt get a clear picture so she sent us out within 2 minutes! 3rd time the traffic was so packed It caused me to be late so they rescheduled me without even telling me I drove a hour and a half for NO REASON!! I highly dont recommend this place at all its too much traffic, they are unprofessional and you cant even take pictures of the baby in the ultrasound room they wont allow you nor do they give you print outs they only send it thru text msg. Everything about this place is a 0/10 my new doctor is awesome Im so glad I left this place

Debbie Mayer Wow and Wow! This place is amazing the best lab I have ever been to in my life! Every lab I have ever gone to in the past is always filthy and dirty. This place is clean and the staff couldn’t be more nicer. They take like every insurance and most of the labs are done in house within hours. I just wish they had a patient portal that I can see my results as the doctors offices who ordered the labs take their sweet time on it. So hopefully CDR will get a patient portal up and running. I never want to go to another lab place again after being here. Thank you CDR

Deidre B2 As a new patient of Dr. Gamble, I now have hope again that there are medical professions that take their oath seriously. She has provide me with the best experience so far within a 5 year span and dealing with an auto-immune discovery. My anxiety and stress has lowered and I know that’s partially due to Dr. Gamble. Her Nurse Practitioner was awesome too! They both “listen” to your concerns with care and empathy, which until now, I thought was a thing of the past! I pray that her practice continues to operate in this manner so that others can have the same experience!

Sandra Stephens Okay, Dr.Gamble is a good doctor, but her nursing staff, not so good,.I been seeing her for a year or more.,Lately I have had tests done, I had to call for the results, no one called me, and my pharmacy contacted them for refills, they take their time responding, and then they with lie,say they sent it, but they dont know why it didnt go through.,3days ago my pharmacy sent a request for refills, they havent respond yet, I have to call my doctor office again, Ms.Tasha is one that doesnt do her job.Bad as I hate to,but next year Im gonna find me another doctor. And its not because of Dr.Gamble, its her nursing staff.well after I posted this, Tina decided to call me and tell me I could not longer be a patient here ,because I said some of Dr.T.Gamble staff wasnt doing their job.,,but Dr. Gamble if you allow them to continue this, you wont have any patients, maybe thats the reason you taking new patients every year, because your staff have a problem with freedom of speech.,Keep this up of dismissal of patients, u will have a lawsuit on your hands. And Im not the only patient, they did this to.,Im glad Im not there anymore. But I just wanted other people to know

Andrew Hutchinson I am so lucky to have found this office. Its been so difficult finding good physicians here in Tallahassee that do not put hyperprofit motive above the thier patients health and safety. The entire office staff is very dedicated to your care . That is not true in many Tallahassee offices. The Doctor himself is very thoughtful and probing. He isnt reaching for a prescription and a pill to solve everything many clinics do that not only dont help but cause more harm. Thank you Dr Krishnamoorthy and equally thank you all to all the many staff members for all your help.

Debbie I recently made an emergency visit to the ER. It was past midnight and from parking to registration to the evaluation station to getting monitored and treated...it was seamless. The staff was courteous and professional. They made sure I was comfortable while being treated. They informed me of all prodedures beforehand. They updated me quickly of the test results. Check out was smooth. I was impressed with the level of professionalism with every employee I encountered. Big Big thumbs up.

Carl Herold I recently spent a night at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital following ankle surgery, and I’d like to share my experience for anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation. First and foremost, the care I received was excellent. The nursing staff were professional, attentive, and had just the right balance of warmth and efficiency. They made sure I was comfortable, answered my questions, and were quick to respond when needed. Their bedside manner was top-notch, and I truly appreciated their efforts. The hospital itself was clean and well-maintained, which is always reassuring in a medical setting. As for the food—well, it was exactly what you’d expect from hospital food. Nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible either. That said, the staff were always happy to bring me a cup of coffee or a diet soda when I asked, which was a nice touch. Now, the reason I can’t quite give my stay a full five-star rating: the room. It was small and felt outdated compared to modern hospital standards. The view left much to be desired, as I was greeted by the sight of a rooftop when I looked out rather than anything remotely pleasant. And while I didn’t go to the hospital to watch TV, the television in my room was so tiny and had such poor reception that a friend jokingly asked if I had a tablet mounted on the wall. Overall, my experience was positive because of the excellent care, cleanliness, and professionalism of the staff. However, if Tallahassee Memorial wants to elevate the patient experience, investing in more modern rooms with better amenities wouldn’t hurt. Would I feel confident coming here again for medical care? Absolutely. Would I look forward to spending time in the patient rooms? Not so much.

Shatila Peck Service was impeccable!!! All of the nurses were so polite and kind. I felt very comfortable. I do feel that the food should be covered when served, to prevent germs and other bacteria from getting on the food. I am a vegan chef, and I feel that the vegan option can be more interesting and flavorful. Other than that, I really appreciate the entire staff! Shout out to nurse Becky, Emma, and Mimi for taking very good care of me. Shout to my OBGYN care taker, I appreciate all of the information and care!

Shirleys Roger I can’t say why my daughter was there. The nurses and doctors were doing everything that they can do for her. There was always a nurse at her bedside and I appreciate them for that. She always had someone in there with her the whole while she was there until the time she was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia. I really must say I appreciate everything that they did while she was there. They never left her bedside.

JD Kennedy Nursing staff was skillful and kind, and managed good continuity of care despite understaffing and scheduling difficulties. Housekeeping and nutrition not so great. And infectious disease precautions insufficient— I was told AFTER I’d been exposed to other patients with flu; had I been warned in advance I could have masked and taken more precautions to avoid getting sick. Coughing after abdominal surgery is the worst.

Mary Johnson My visit to HCA Florida Capital was a breath of fresh air. I cant remember when Ive been to a hospital or just about anywhere for health care that I met so many friendly, helpful and professional people. Everyone was extremely good at their jobs and seemed to take pride in making sure you were taken care of.

Thomas Carlisle My wife spent six weeks at Select Specialty Hospital. After enduring multiple rounds of sepsis before her arrival, the care team at Select went above and beyond to restore her health. When she first arrived, she was unable to get out of bed, stand, or walk. But by the time she left, she was walking with a walker and had made remarkable progress in her recovery. The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, CNAs, and both OT and PT teams were exceptional. They listened to her needs, treated her with respect, and provided care that made her feel valued as a patient. The staffs attentiveness gave me complete confidence in their abilities, and I am incredibly grateful for their efforts. I highly recommend Select Specialty Hospital to anyone in need of long-term acute care. Tallahassee is fortunate to have this facility in our community.

Yea Thats Jazzy I am writing to express my concerns regarding my sister’s recent stay and discharge process at Select Specialty Hospital- Tallahassee, FL. While I want to commend the nursing staff and housekeeping team for their excellent professionalism, compassion, and attentiveness, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of support and care demonstrated by the caseworker, Mrs. Debbie, and the house supervisor, Mrs. Louise. Mrs. Debbie appeared to put minimal effort into providing our family with the necessary information about services we might need for my sister’s continuing wound care and made her feel like she was being kicked out of the facility. When I reached out with questions about aftercare, I was met with frustration and a dismissive attitude by Mrs. Louise, that made an already stressful situation even harder to manage. This same attitude was extended to my niece when she drove 84 miles to pick up a prescription after my sister’s discharge, that I strongly believe could have been called in beforehand. When my other sister, spoke with Mrs. Louise on the phone, I could hear her mentioning that my sister had stated she did not need any pain medication because she already had some prescribed three months ago by a previous doctor. While I understand the importance of confirming a patient’s current needs, I felt it was dismissive not to offer reassurance or guidance for a situation where the existing medication might not suffice. A response such as, “If you get home and don’t have enough, please call us so we can refill it until you can meet with your primary doctor. I understand your wound may cause extreme pain and discomfort, and we want you to be comfortable while at home,” would have shown understanding and care. This level of communication and empathy was entirely absent, leaving us feeling unsupported during this critical time. Both Mrs. Debbie and Mrs. Louise failed to effectively advocate for my sister, who was dealing with extreme physical pain and mental depression due to her condition. Their lack of empathy and attentiveness not only impacted on my sister’s recovery process but also created unnecessary stress for our family during an already challenging time. It is disheartening to see such a lack of compassion and effort from individuals in roles meant to guide and support families during moments like these. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issues raised to ensure future patients and families do not endure a similar experience.

Charlene Cupp Kinch Please, I beg of you...if your family or friend is at Select...check on them often! Once, I arrived and my brother said "I have been in this wheelchair (this is what they call physical therapy) for two hours and my back is hurting". I told his nurse, and an hour later (still in the chair) I pressed the button for assistance however 45 minutes later we received a response. All said and done, my brother sat there in pain for 5 hours before someone came to assist. This is just one of the many issues we had during his stay. No, I do not want to speak to the Chief Compliance Officer I want to warn the family and friends of potential patients.

Elaine Van Ness My son was there recently and also passed there even though he was making a good recovery. The rehab is a joke because all they did was sit him in a chair 2 hours each time. Was constantly ignored when calling for help. Night nurses are a joke and never came when called. Was never turned or reposition to ward off bed sores or blood clots. There would be no way I could ever recommend this place for anyone loved one.

Lisa Obryan Select Hospital’s staff from the maintenance, house keeping, cafeteria staff, cna, nurses, therapist, office staff made us all feel welcomed during our mom’s stay here until she passed. Everyone would greet us with a smile when we walking in the halls. Made sure to greet us and ask if we needed anything, even brought us a pot of coffee in the room. They all commented how they were here for the patient and their family. They truly care about the patient and their needs come first.

K M Unintelligent rude doctors. Entire visit I had an unhealthy overweight doctor fat shaming me and making comments about the strawberry skin on my arms. I was there to get on antidepressants not talk about my weight, rosacea, or strawberry skin. She said “you need to lose weight” I said “I’m not here for that.” then she proceeded to go on and on and on and on about how I don’t eat good and need to lose weight. I said I barely eat fast food or fried foods mostly veggies and meats and rice. She told me “stop eating rice it’s making you fat.” I couldn’t believe someone who is twice my size was being so nasty about weight. I had a baby, what’s her excuse? Also told me I need to stop being chronically online because I was asking about my Thyroid. Mind you this is my first (& last) time ever seeing this doctor. I don’t know why such nasty people go into the medical field. I’d never recommend this place.

Karina CF Do not go with Perez De Armas. Lack of knowledge, COMPASSION and care! 0 bedside manner and tried to avoid giving us lab results but overheard nurse speaking with someone about red flags being all over the labs. When we asked about them the “Dr.” said they were sent somewhere else so he couldn’t see them. I overheard this was his last month at TMH cancer center, go figure… Wish my father had a better doctor during his last days on this earth!!!

Kristl Youngs He misdiagnosed my endometriosis, even after I suggested that might be the problem.. He told me I had herpes on my cervix.... stuck by that diagnosis even after the blood test for herpes was negative. When he told me I had genital herpes, I lost it.. Collapsed into tears. He left the room, and didnt look back. Thank God his nurse had a heart, and helped me compose myself. Worst doctor EVER... cant even begin to say how his misdiagnosis and mistreatment set me back. The ONLY good thing he did was sign the OK for my HMO to send me to Shands for a second opinion. My first visit, Shands accurately diagnosed my condition. Btw... the only reason I gave him a 1 star rating is because that is the lowest option I had.
