Erica I picked up my stool sample kit from this location on Friday, 12/13. I verified with both representatives that they offer this test and they provided me with the kit and showed me exactly how to collect it, filling up each tube UP to the line. I strategically planned which day I would collect the sample, selecting one of the only weekdays that I have off of work, and managing around iron infusions, vitamin infusions, weekly immunoglobulin treatment, imaging appointments, and held off on antibiotic injections until after collecting this sample. I also made sure to get strong coffee the morning of since I am currently facing constipation. Upon dropping it off on 12/26, the front desk associate was met with confusion about the order. It took 25 minutes for her to register me in the Advent Health system. While she was doing so, a tech came and took the sample from me, looked at it, and had it in her possession for at least 10 minutes. After I left the lab, the front desk associate came out to my car, startling me, and informed me that the lab is going to reject my sample because its above the line. I told her that I followed the instructions exactly as they were provided to me. On the instructions provided to me, it clearly indicates to fill the tubes with small scoops UP TO THE LINE then vigorously shake the tubes. Obviously, upon shaking, the volume will slightly increase and slightly go over the line. I drove 1 hour to get to the lab, waited 25 minutes while she took my sample and information, and drove 1 hour back, and youre going to reject my sample because I followed the directions exactly how they were provided to me? What a complete waste of my time, fuel, and energy as an immunocompromised chronically ill person.

Rachel S I came here this morning, after being referred by someone else who comes here. I am so impressed! The lady working at the front desk was so kind; she got me checked in immediately. I sat down in the waiting area and its very nice, clean, and comfortable. When I was called to the back, the guy drawing my blood was amazing! He could tell I was having anxiety, and mentioned some breathing techniques I could use to calm down. He got the needle into my vein quickly, without fishing, and wrapped my arm. I dont know how many times Ive went to Labcorp and theyve blown veins, went fishing in my arm which makes me feel like Im going to pass out. Complete opposite experiences than the one I had today, at AdventHealth. I will schedule all of my labwork at this lab from now on! Ill also be telling other people about it as well.

Danielle Cook This place was amazing. My daughter is 9 and deathly afraid of needles. But they worked with her and not only her my mom and I as well. And they got it done and were very amazing with my daughter. Phillip and Tenna thank you. You two were awesome!!!

Karen Melendez The woman at the front desk was bery nice, greeted me right away and didn’t make a fuss that I didn’t have my paperwork in hand. She brought it up on the computer right away. Philip was great too. Didn’t feel a thing. He slid the needle in smoothly. Best phlebotomy experience I’ve had. They also took me in early and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.

E I had to wait an hour at the facility for the specific test I took before I had my blood drawn. Mindy was so sweet and reassuring, we had such a lovely time chatting and it made the time pass so quickly! The woman who drew my blood (I think her name is Tenna?) had such a calming aura to her, it made the experience so smooth and painless. Those two ladies are such gems and I’d choose this facility many times over.

Tricia Agnew VIP Care in Tavares deserves more than 5 stars! Dr. Watson is truly excellent, as is Sandra Dawson, APRN. They always answer all my questions and never make me feel rushed, which is amazing since their appointments run on schedule and there is little to no waiting time. I don’t know how they do it! From the time I walk in, I feel welcome. This is so much like the practices I grew up with here in Florida, where the staff felt like family. That’s important to me. VIP Care is the best!

Dana Speakmon They are very polite and respectful. I never have to wait to be seen. The wait time in the office is less than 5 minutes. The doctor and the nurse practitioner are very good at explaining everything. If I need to be referred out to a specialist there is never a problem. They communicate well with my other doctors ( cardiologist etc) . In general it is a really good Drs office

Henry Castonguay The best and most caring doctor I have ever seen. Excellent staff and appointment times are made to insure minimal wait times. Doctor Watson is well knowledgeable and every medication he has prescribed has improved my health. I would recommend him to everyone that cares about his or her health and well being.

Claggett Robert (Bob) Hey, in the past, I have given you five stars every one of several times in the past two years. But this time quite a different story. I will also say that I am aware they’re probably was a reason, but the reason should’ve never existed had been covered correctly. I was referred by the Orlando Health walk-in clinic at 27 and 48. I was referred for an x-ray after I had an oxygen treatment in the office and three prescriptions provided. To make a long story short. Really was a terrible experience. I walked in was told to wait while three or four other people were signed in. I then realized that they were treating an x-ray patient, outpatient, differently than an emergency room patient. A little bit of detail and I will end this. In short, The room had about dozen people in it, including bout sixthat were told to sign ahead of me. I watched as all 12 people went ahead of me and that was not enough as I watched four or five people come in after the room had emptied, and they were given attention. I finally walked up to the counter and was told that I was treated differently than an emergency room. Patient as it was on a weekend And they just helped the x-ray folks in having a seated. Was reeling unpleasant experience. Something really should be worked out where a person walks in and over a dozen people who enter later are attended to first. Procedure/policy here and needs to be changed to assist simple x-ray referrals, and I would assume other referrals from urgent care facilities in the Orlando Health system.

Pauline Dulac That is the most efficient emergency hospital I have ever been to. You are taking care of immediately. It’s done with care, empathy and love. They go out of their way to make you very comfortable. If I can help it, I’ll never go any other place but there I have been actually for about three years.

Tom My phone/watch track where I spend time and you get this report each year where you spent time. Other than my home, I have spent more time here than anywhere else (I work from home). For the first year I was there anywhere from 1 to 3 times a week. As the years go by I’m down to once a month. This is all said to put my review in perspective. I’ve spent a lot of time here and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. The staff is incredible. Everyone is cheery and kind and helpful. To maintain that while dealing with folks who frequently are having some of the worst days of their lives is beyond commendable. When my issue was detected by my other Dr, unknown to me, they got me into the cancer specialists here at the last minute, including the Oncologist and some staff staying late to for me in as I was in a high risk state. They really stepped up and helped me. They really do care. At this point, I actually kind of look forward to my visits. Catching up on who is up to what. Who has grandkids in town. What funny stories they have to share this month. These are more than nurses and med techs and doctors. These are friends and people I can rely on whether it’s one of my best days or one of my worst. Love and hugs to everyone here! When you spend time there, you sometimes see the grumpy types. I get it, everyone has a bad day. And the most common complaint in the waiting room is that they have to wait a bit longer than expected to get in. Usually it’s new patients, again, likely stressed out. The reason it can sometimes take an extra 20 minutes to get in is because they do not rush anyone. They listen. They let you ask your questions and make sure you are confident with your treatments/results/questions. Pretty much anyone who is a patient at this place has some real problems. Be patient and allow them to get the time and help they need because it’s exactly what you would hope for yourself. We’re all here to fight Cancer or other big problems, so let’s stay on the same team!

John Driggers All the nurses, auxiliaries, and staff are truly exceptional at the positions they hold. They all are professionals with ethics and sincere compassion for their patients. That is far more than I could ever say of the hospital next door. Fl. Hospital Waterman. Here you are fortunate, once in the ER, to get any treatment let alone professionalism , ethics, or concern for you as an individual patient. They are too busy walking around with their Halos and Pedestals than give you professionalism, respect, kindness, and care. If at all possible, stay out of this place, but if necessary, always have an advocate with you at all times who can question and document everything!

Mia C Simply amazing. Dr. Al is easily one of the most wonderful physicians and human being I have ever encountered. Every staff member thus far has been amazing. Candace gets a special thank you for taking care of the little details with kindness and compassion. If you find yourself needing cancer care, this is where you want to be.

Milton Ramos From the moment I check in, I receive a warm welcoming with kind professionalism and attention, with the front desk Person (Ms. Sydney), and it continues at the different areas of the facility. I feel like I’m with the right Folks. Then when it is time to checkout Ms. Sydney, with much care, and kindness, schedules me for my follow-up and/or next appointment. I always ask questions regarding my treatment(s) and I always immediately receive the answer(s) and the explanations.

Marlin Moore I think the whole team is good and caring. I had issues when first meeting Dr Malik. Very nice but had no idea why I was there. They had none of my tests results ! I had to show him on my phone after that within minutes he had treatment ! Was a bit Leary but going with his decision and trusting him with my life ! I have never been able to get through on the phone ! When I tell them in person they say their system is bad. Hmmmm. Maybe get another one !!!! We are dealing with life and death. Wish it was treated a little more seriously! But staff is great in person !!!!

Allen Curtis I saw Genesis, the P.A. She was very equipped and knowledgeable to answer all of my questions. Very positive experience. Tiffany called me right in while I was still doing my paperwork. I wasn’t kept waiting long at all. Genesis made helpful suggestion and explained the results of my procedures making it very understandable. Great personnel. Sometimes it is difficult to get through on the phone but you will want to call back. I recommend this Office to take good care of you. And their Surgery Center is directly across from the office making it very convenient.

Lisa Kelchner Be very careful. I paid in cash for my services and then they went behind my back and charged my insurance on top of that. So they got paid twice for the same services for my colonoscopy and then they didn’t even apologize. Office manager told me that they don’t charge in the office. Came back and said oh yes I guess we did. They gave some lame excuses that the girl didn’t know what she was doing, and she and the office manager wasn’t there. Be very careful and look at everything. Also, If you make an appointment, make sure you make it for early in the morning otherwise, anything in the afternoon you’re waiting for hours. They are almost never on time found out the hard way. The nurses I had to say were excellent. Had no complain about that.

Charlie Bowen Everything was great. The staff was very professional, fast and pleasant . I was only there 30 minutes. My only problem was the time wait for the procedure itself. My Cologuard came back abnormal. My procedure isnt until Nov. 8 and the results will not be back until Dec. 14. A long time to wait to find out if you have cancer.
5 /5
Paul Golub The office staff and Dr Baskar are amazing. The only issue was the wait time. My appointment this time was at 1 and I didn’t get back till 1:30. The prior appointment took over an hour from arrival to get to the back for the Dr visit. The patient load recently has been more busy, so it is understandable that there are longer wait times. The doctors and the staff are amazing.

Lynne Mahony My 95 year old father whod fallen and hit his head and was bleeding from his head, a gash in his hand, and arm, waited well over 6 hrs to see a provider. The provider was fabulous and apologetic for the wait and imaging was done relatively quickly after our arrival. UNFORTUNATELY, the waiting room team showed no compassion, promised every patient updates on their waits and gave NONE, and didnt even maintain comfort item availability. The waits were attributed to waiting for a bed BUT their were at minimum 9 hallway beds in the ED available when my father was finally roomed.

Stephen Bostwick Its hard to give a rating because there was a different of night and day with the level of care. Out front waiting room sat 4 employees that definitely needed a patient care course and a courtesy course thrown in.Then 2 hrs later when they call your name you get to enter the double doors into the actual ER rooms and the world changes. You find caring,.comforting staff that know how to care for patients. Thank you to all of you behind the double doors the 5 star rating is only for you. You were amazing.

William Overbay The clerks, nurse assistants, nurse and the on duty Doctor were all friendly, courteous and professional. But there is something very seriously wrong with the speed of processing emergency service. Twelve hours wait time is totally unacceptable when youre at a 9.9 pain level. Fact is, its very bad. I will look for an alternative solution if I ever have to go to Emergency service again.

Tom How does one review a hospital? Is it the facilities?(5 star) Is it the nursing staff(4 star) Is it the food (0 stars) Is to how many times you were neglected(2 stars) Is it how many times they injured you unnecessarily?(3 stars) Is it how many times they brought in cameras and administrators to review mistakes and hope you won’t sue?(2 stars) A hospital is a vast collection of people, activities and events. There’s no easy way to just give it a single rating. I could spend an hour here listing every interaction that was great and every interaction that was terrible. Instead I’ll summarize The nursing and tech staff is great. Kind, nice people. The weekend folks leave a lot to be desired and being ignored is common. The food is poor and frequently you are not fed or are given food that you cannot eat with your condition(kidney disease). Frequently going hungry is common. Some nursing/tech staff(just a few sprinkled in) are downright brutal. Causing injuries. Ignoring you and walking away with you bleed and ask for help. My moms spent roughly 8 weeks in this hospital in the past 18 months and the wild variety of friendly staff and neglectful staff is head spinning.

Robyn Schmidt We had such an incredibly positive experience with the nursing care in the ER for my father last Sunday. He was admitted rapidly from ER triage in heart failure and respiratory distress. They immediately called a code and rushed him back to a trauma room and had him stable and on oxygen within minutes. Nurse Amanda, in particular, in the ER was incredibly thorough, kind, and attentive throughout the 13 hours we were there before he was admitted. She was kind to my dad and kept him at ease throughout a very upsetting and scary day. The nursing care after he was admitted has been excellent as well- DJ and Christina have taken great care of him. I was so relieved I could leave at night knowing he would be well cared for. From a worried daughter who could’ve lost her dad, I am grateful that he is in good hands.

dapplebee I hope this message finds its way to the right person. I brought my elder mother into the ER on March 12, 2025 roughly 4:00 PM. We did have a wait to get a room but totally understood as it was pretty busy and everyone is there for a different issue. I wanted to say we were brought back to the Ped unit due to it being busy and had the most incredible nurses and Dr. that came to look after my mom. Dr. Kelly was absolutely the most compassionate, kind and informative health care provider I have had the pleasure of meeting. I did not get last names of the of the RNs but Bambi, was very attentive and so caring as everyone that we made contact with was. At the time of discharged my mother and even told them how she loved them. Please know you ladies are top notch in the medical field and i was so overjoyed with your whole hearted compassion. I will recommend Advent Health Waterman a thousand times over. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my mother. God bless you all.

When you call on it I’m told you’re not the only one that has referrals. I ended up having cancer. They delay treatment by not getting referrals processed. Even my oncologist says they are the worst when she has to send them referrals for my treatment.

Debra Wood After leaving this practice and finding a new primary care doctor I found out the medication given to me was damaging my kidneys. Please stay away from this office. The equipment is dirty and I was asked to place my mouth on this pipe that was dusty and dirty. You will have to take tests you dont need and you will be screamed at and abused if you ask questions. The worst experience ever. A scam office.

Debra Wood I would like to give them a zero. I had been with my primary care doctor in Clearwater, FL for 40 years, and after moving to Tavares this office was my first primary care experience. I am 73 years and have issues with my heart and this experience was horrible. I was screamed at while trying to recover my blood work. After 3 telephone calls i did recover my blood work, but I was crying and shaking because of the way I was screamed at by the woman with the dark hair at the front desk. I was traumatized by such an unprofessional crass woman. Rather than correct the situation and have the doctor reprimand her I was asked to leave the practice. I worked for a doctor while putting myself through college and I would have lost my job if I had screamed at anyone. The office demands you take unnecessary tests, and you never get the results. If, you ask for the test nicely you will be screamed at. The orbit is unhealthy and I always get sick after staying in the office for my many tests. Tests you dont need. I was required to take an emphysema test and I never smoked. Beware. Run for your life. RUN, RUN, RUN,

Lisa Dupree I arrived 30 minutes early for my first visit to establish myself as a patient of Dr. Youngs and became overwhelmed by the strong fragrance from the multiple air fresheners they use in the office. I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and fragrance is a bad trigger for my symptoms. I was able to wait outside to be called back into a room. Once inside a back room, I waited for quite a while until finally the automatic lights turned off. By this time, I had a rash on both arms and hives on part of my face. It was over an hour past my appointment time (appt time was 10 and it was now a little past 11), and I decided that I shouldnt subject myself to the air freshener any longer. I asked for a refund in the financial office. While in there, the Dr. Young came in, and I apologized for the inconvenience but said I needed to leave because of the very strong fragrance in the air. I showed him my arms and said that I was becoming rashy and needed to leave the building. With a mocking smile he asked me how I knew I had mast cell disease and who diagnosed me and why wasnt I on more medications than I listed on my paperwork. Clearly, he is unfamiliar with MCAS, and frankly I understand as it is a rare or underdiagnosed disorder. However, the manner in which I was treated is unacceptable. He acted as though he didnt believe me because Im not currently taking prescribed medications (many patients can control symptoms with OTC antihistamines, a special diet, and avoidance of triggers). I have never been treated like this by a medical professional. It was shocking and extremely upsetting. I found this man to be very unprofessional.

Billy Kochersperger Dr Tran did my surgery on the 18th of December and I can’t tell you how amazing he is as well as his entire surgical team and office staff. From the day I went and seen him, the surgery, and after care, he and his staff have been nothing but amazing to me. He told me everything that would happen, how long it would take, told me to make sure I called with issues, and they would be there through it all with me. His words were as good as his actions. His office staff are the politest people I have ever seen in a medical field and always treated me with respect and kindness. From the day I called for him to see me until this Wednesday for my post op he has been amazing along with his whole group. I would highly recommend him for anyone needing help in surgery. He is a man of very short words, but a caring Dr that wants you to be at your best when he is done. Thank you Dr Tran and your staff for the amazing things you did for me.

Britt M I had to have my gallbladder removed and Dr. Tran was able to repair a small umbilical hernia while doing the surgery. The initial consultation was good. When I started to ask a bunch of questions because I was unsure about all things regarding gallbladder and its removal, he was great at answering all my questions and had plenty of diagrams to use for comparison. He made me feel very comfortable with doing the surgery. The staff in the office were really nice and they were able to get me scheduled quickly. Surgery went well— The nurses that get you checked in and deal with everything before Dr. Tran comes in were amazing. Dr. Tran came in and did a quick check in with me we went over everything that he was doing again and we went to surgery. I’m only giving four stars instead of five because the re-check went very quickly and when I brought up the “gas pain” that I was told about by the nurses and read online he said that wasn’t a true thing and it was just muscle pain from laying for so long, so I was confused. Overall great doctor to work with.

Justin Mcclellan Tran did my surgery 5 months ago for hernia that I had two wait two months for the initial visit and another 2 for the surgery so had to wait around for four months with it before I even was able to have it taken care of does the surgery and five months later it’s right back to where it was to begin with. Calls back and am told I have to have a referral from my primary to get an app for the recurrence from the surgery they performed. So they want me to wait another two months for that app so I can get another app with them 2 months after that and a surgery prob another 2 months after that initial app. So they told me I could wait basically another six months with a hernia that had a low chance of returning that I’m in full pain from again currently. So get to live with a hernia for another half a year because the said there referral staff said I had to go threw my primary to be seen again. They did the surgery they should take the app for it but because they only care about money and not people they won’t. Tran seemed wildly confident that it was an easy fix and when I came back for check up after the surgery only gave me five seconds and left never really looked it it didn’t care what I had to say was convinced all was perfect five months later working at home at that and again another hernia same spot mesh floating around in my body no app given to me told to take the long road when Tran only looked at it for five seconds on the check up. It’s ridiculous and unprofessional in every way but hey what do they care

Paul Taylor I went in to get a hernia looked at. I was told being a self pay my office visit would be 45.00 theycharged me 110.00. Again im a self pay. They wanted me to come in for surgury which I oked as long as it was affordable. After waiting for 3 days they called to tell me itwould be 10.000.00 dollars more than I can afford. Thankfully theres a hernia specialist in ft Meyers that does the operation with no mesh for 3700.00. Its unfortunate that there are people like me. Middle aged white male no insurance Obama care would cost me 700.00 a month. Not a good deal for the middle aged white guy thats worked and paid his own way for going on 60 years now.

Alise Morris I’ve been seeing Dr Vu since I was very young. Dr Vu is an incredible doctor, but after the transition to Advent Health, the customer service/returning calls/appointment scheduling has been horrendous! Truly disappointed, wish he would go back to private practice without the mess advent scheduling creates.

Brenda Von Almen My 88 year old mother has been unable to move into her assisted living facility for which she is paying because of the incompetence and lack of compassion of Dr. Vu and his staff. Their failure to provide Moms assisted living facility with the required documents is preventing Mom from rightfully move into her new home. After 20+ years of being Moms health care provider, this doctors and staffs lack of concern and incompetence is holding her hostage instead of assisting in her transition. Shame on all of them! My Mom - and all patients - deserve better. Calling this office and speaking to the correct individual is a nightmare of endless phone calls, messages not returned and staff who know nothing about my mom or her condition. As a family, we are stunned how this group of health care providers is treating our mom, a patient of over 20 years.

Derek Wallman Dr. Vu has been my family doctor for over 20 years. You will not find a kinder and more caring medical professional in his field. Quite simply, the best doctor of any type I have ever had. he is the best.

Alejandro Rios I was looking for a doctor in the area, because I just move to a new location. I came a cross this particular doctor, I read his profile and after to compare with multiple options I decided to schedule an appointment, I got everything situated and my appointment was confirm, few hours later I received a phone call telling me that they will cancel my appointment because the doctor is not taking new patients. They told me to check for other physicians in the area or call my insurance company to get some information about other doctors. Im very upset and frustrated whit the situation, because they been very rude and just brush me off with the "have a great day" I should advice whoever is in charge in this office to get new people to talk to potential customers, they have no idea how to treat people and take care of them. This doctor is going to see his patients walking away after all those bad reviews people are going to be posting after the bad experience we have with his team.

Greg Labastille I had my first appointment today with Dawn the physician assistant. She is outstanding! I really appreciated her professionalism and attention to detail. She was very attentive to my situation. Dawn even gave me a follow up call afterwards to check on me to see how I was doing. The office staff as well are very warm and friendly. They made me feel so at ease. I am so very glad I decided to make an appointment here. I have found my new primary care. I look forward to being a patient here for as long as possible.

Iraida Cortez Ive been to Dr.Blakes office many times and yes ,you need to have patience because he and Dawn are concern of your well being and health and they take their time with each person .Also each person has different concerns and issues ,some people take longer than others. I sure love You and your health family care..Because your not just a number nor just a patient .Your family and a friend them. They truly care ,not like many physicians that you go in and out w/o even knowing what u have or can do cause all those doctors care is about $$ .And in my book Dr. Blakes office has been and will always be Quality care ,kindness and love for all his/her Patients. And I truly admire that. If you cant see it then you should just go to quickly clinics and doctors.

Jen Eustis Although the Physician assistant is the primary person I get to see, this is the only positive part of this practice. I have literally phoned so many times that I lost count. The ront office staff is unprofessional and the Nurses are unresponsive. I am having to find a new physician just because they cant take the time to call in my prescription refill. Dr. Perth Blake really needs to take a deep look into his staff and their lack professionalism and lack of basic patient care.

Amanda, the medical assistant that brings me to the back always makes me feel comfortable, no matter what Im there for. This is really saying a lot because I usually am pretty anxious at doctors offices, but here, I feel right at home. Mary the nurse also goes above and beyond at making patients feel better, and more at ease. Everyone that works here does an outstanding job and theyre so thorough! The office itself is also very clean, nothing looks out of place. I highly recommend AdventHealth Medical Group Family & Internal Medicine!

Kristen Katsetos Called to schedule an appointment with my primary care due to concern of a lump in my breast. I was told the soonest appointment was 2 months away. I am shocked and disgusted that I cant see my doctor for 2 months with a concern of this magnitude. What is a patient supposed to do in a situation like this?! Now I will have to go to an ER to get help. Having to unnecessarily utilize higher levels of care is one of the most prevalent reason for the astronomical cost of healthcare services. Will be searching for a new primary care, again.

Kelly Fraser So, after trying to call many, many times to get an appointment, I finally went in to do it. I got an appointment later than I wanted so I asked if they had a cancellation list. She said no, but you can always call and see if there is an earlier opening. Baahaha. Now I have to cancel said appointment but apparently I have to go in to do that too because no one is answering! Way to help out our vets ladies! BTW, there was no one in line when I went in and I didnt hear any phones ringing, I wonder if they turned off the ringers .

Sheniqua Williams Good VA clinic, but no one ever answers the phone. I get calls from them to make an appointment but no answer. It’ll literally ring for 10 minutes straight, and eventually stop ringing. Don’t call me and leave a voicemail saying to call back when no one answers the phone. I’ve tried all extensions and it doesn’t matter. They still won’t answer. GET IT TOGETHER Edit: I’ve emailed my PCM, the patient advocates, and I called a left a voicemail to the patient advocates about this issue. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR coming from a VA Clinic. I expect a follow up soon. Will update again. Edit 2: Patient advocate called me back and said that there are issues with the phones lines. They are “looking into it and it’s being resolved”.

Courtney Doxzon My husband has been going here several years and the last time he was here was (April 2024), it was terrible. Dr.Oquendo kept on continually insisting my husband had a condition he didnt have and taking medication he never took, only to realize he was reading us results from another patients file. And somehow he missed important results on his blood work. He also made unacceptable comments about my husband/veterans getting increases in their disability claims, stating "Im not accusing you of lying but its suspicious how many veterans are getting increases." Its honestly sad that this is the kind of healthcare veterans are getting. Do better.

Kim My only experience was calling to refer a new patient. Unfortunately, the employee that answered was unable to provide a positive first impression. I did not understand what his name was but I did hear that calls are recorded. It is October 18th and the next available appointment is next year in January. I was not even asked the reason for the visit. The lack of communication skills, compassion and empathy is disappointing. This is why some patients feel that they are unimportant or just a number. If your office is overwhelmed, reach out to AdventHealths Risk Management and/or Administration so that they can monitor the missed opportunities within your location.

John DeWitt I went here twice for sleep studies. The first time, I was only able to sleep for a little over 2 hours. The tech came in ( without knocking) more than once, to tell me I wasn’t sleeping. The tech also has a very peculiar way of speaking to patients. I was spoken to as if I were a child. That study didn’t give enough information to the doctor so another study was ordered. I wasn’t able to start the second study. The same tech and his condescending tone treated me ( again) like a child!! I was so upset, I just got up and left. My wife and I have over 65 years of experience in the healthcare field and I have NEVER been treated like this anywhere. I will not go back.

jaycie elizabeth I had my first visit here and I am extremely disappointed. The first nurse that saw me was great, very friendly and welcoming. Then the nurse named Michelle came to see me, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. I couldnt even finish my sentences telling her about my health concerns before she would cut me off- blaming my chronic fatigue on depression (I have worked with psychologists and psychiatrists for my depression and was actually told by my psychologist to get some medical tests done for the fatigue), cutting me off just saying "ibuprofen" when I started to tell her about my severe menstrual cramps. At one point she looked me in my face and said "you are GROSSLY underweight, you arent eating enough" before she even knew anything about my diet. One of my concerns was actually about my being underweight despite having a normal diet, but her telling me that I am "grossly underweight" and making accusations about my diet was extremely rude, it felt like bullying to me. Absolutely vile and disgusting behavior. I felt disrespected, unheard, and belittled. After going back and forth with her and advocating for myself to have tests done, she did end up ordering some labs for me so thats good at least.

Anita Millward I have been going to this place now for about five years I really like it a lot there are seven different doctors I don’t get the same one every time I go but I haven’t had a problem with any of them and I love the fact that there was a walk in clinic so if I wake up and I don’t feel good just go to the walk in clinic and I see the doctors! When I do my physical I can ask to do the Pap there also and not have to see my gynecologist clear over in Orlando! They used to have an office in the Leesburg mall and I really like to go in there cause then I could shop on my way home but they’ve close that one down! I just really like it because anything that I have that I need to have done I can have done there ! They have always been very nice to me! And I never have to wait

R Jr Ive been a patient of Adult Medicine (Dr. Davina) for almost two years now. Everyone who has attended to me has always been friendly and professional. Dr. Davina is great to work with, personable, caring, authentic. Its true that when I first started coming here the phone support was not good, but that has changed considerably over the last year. There is also an Akumin lab next door which makes it very convenient to get tests, xrays, etc done without having to go somewhere else.

Sharon Davis My mother is a 78 year old patient with lymphedema which causes mobility issues. We have two issues. The first issue is this office takes it amongst themselves without contacting the patient to change appointments and times then penalize the patient for missed appointments. The original appointment scheduled for February 12 at 2:20 was supposed to be a visit for a follow up of bloodwork in which Dr. Davina‘s office did not send over to quest diagnostics. The appointment was then switched to a visit for the mobility chair, however, In June 2023 my mother went into the office for a visit due to her mobility chair becoming non-operational. At that time she was given a referral with the hopes of receiving a new chair. Unfortunately it is now February 2024 and she still has yet to receive the new power chair. The company referred by Dr. Davina‘s office is nu motion which have informed my mother that the doctors office did not send over the clinical notes in order to process the chair. Therefore, my mother contacted the office at 9 AM and expressed her concerns at that time. She was informed that she would receive a call back. And in hopes of some resolve, Matt, the office manager contacts my mother, and she began to expressed her concerns at that time. Matt accuses her of twisting his words and the other individual words that she has spoken to prior to speaking to him, (Wow… this is implying that the patient is a liar) he then begins to yell, and she expressed to him that she is old enough to be his mother to not speak to her in that manner he continues to yell, and become very sarcastic, because she expressed that she needed clarity about the mobility chair and the care that she is receiving. I hope that you take into consideration the level of care that you will receive before going into this facility and how you would be treated. Matt the office manager is very disrespectful and unprofessional. He does not know how to properly communicate to bring resolve to an issue. Instead, he escalates them by speaking to patients in a manner that is degrading he tried to make my mother feel as though she did not know what she was talking about. The way my mother was treated is unacceptable and no human being should be treated in that manner. Beware under the leadership of Matt I see why the office staff is so dysfunctional.and I will make sure Dr. Davina knows what is taking place.

AdventHealth Medical Group OB GYN at Waterman

(19) Reviews AdventHealth Medical Group OB GYN at Waterman:

Cassidy Moyer Do not go to Waterman OBGYN. If you’re having complications, they do not try to squeeze you in so you get relief. They want you to wait 3-4 more months with your complications when you’re already in bad pain. They don’t offer any solutions. & whoever answers the phones doesn’t listen to what you’re saying, they just want to get off the phone as quick as they answer. It’s just a job to them. I called to ask about a sooner appointment because of what’s going on, & they ended up “accidentally” deleting the one I had, then said they were adding it on for same date and time again.. but never did. I called back to have it corrected & then they gave me an even later date & time as if it was my fault when it was theirs. Then when you ask to get it resolved with the doctor involved, you don’t hear anything back from them when they claim they will call you back. They truly don’t care if you’re suffering in pain.. really sickening & saddening a doctor’s office behaves this way. If you care about your health, seek care somewhere else. I wish I could say everything else that’s happened with this office. If I could give zero stars I would. Please do better.. If you’re that cruel & don’t care about the health of your patients & what’s right, get out of the medical field.

K S I couldnt recommend this location less. The reception staff was unbelievably rude to me about being self pay and documented a totally false interaction between me and them in my medical file. Im disturbed by their behavior and can say that I fully found it to be unethical and deeply concerning. They refused to see me because I was self pay even though I had already spoken to them about it. They also refused to see me without confirmation of my pregnancy which would be an ultrasound. They refused to give me an ultrasound because their tech quit two months ago and they havent hired someone else. This is not my first baby and Ive never been treated so poorly by anyone as I was the office staff. Im very tempted to launch formal complaints about them because of their behavior.

lauren white WORST GYNO EVER! Multiple canceled appointments with no explanation and without attempting to reschedule. Early morning appointments where the doctor doesnt come in. So your stuck in the waiting room without anyone helping you. They literally dont care about you and your pregnancy at all. 2 weeks till Im due and they are still canceling appointments. When they cancel you apt. and you think something is off they tell you to go to the hospital instead of scheduling you an apt. I went to the hospital and everything was fine and they scheduld me the very next day to see the doctor. When I went in for my apt. The doctor spent a total of 5 minutes with me. They take your money and run. Also you dont have any connections with a doctor as they pass you around to a new doctor every single visit.

Kristi Sommer If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had an appointment scheduled for today, after noticing it disappeared from my “my chart” I called the office and was basically told ‘oh well’ the doctors in surgery. After being extremely frustrated and upset because I’ve been waiting for over 3 months to get into to see a doctor and being in the ER a month prior for this issue. The person on the phone said I’ll have the office manager call you. That was 5 days ago. I guess a non pregnancy related issue isn’t a priority. I hope CMS sees how terrible the reviews are on this office and reevaluates your standing accordingly. I won’t hold my breath that your “office manager” is going to call me back. This and every other women’s review of this facility proves Advent Health is a profits over patient organization. Your canned reply of “oh we’re so sorry” isn’t necessary. You actually taking an internal look at your business model and believing female assigned at birth patients is and will go further.
