Michael Studley I have unfortunately been to this hospital 4 times in the last 2 months, 2 being ER visits and the others as admissions. Let me state that I am currently in substance abuse treatment. I firmly believe that affects how youre treated. The first 2 ER trips were routine. All were after seizures (epileptic not substance), and both had waits in the waiting room of over 6 hours. I watched everybody from pregnant women (makes sense), to stomach aches, go in before me. As soon as I did get in the back, I was asked multiple times about drinking, yet offered Ativan about the same. The last 2 trips were 8/2-8/4 & 8/6-8/9. Both after seizures in the shower and outside waiting for an Uber. Please let me state I am and have always been med compliant. This isnt about meds, its about the hospital. As soon as I presented to EMTs, I was narcaned and asked repeatedly what I took. I had to basically fight with them to take my blood and urine to test for everything and anything. Until those came back negative, I was given an obvious attitude. Trip #1-waited the entire weekend to see neurologist for 3 mins. She confirmed my meds and EEG and discharged me. That was Sunday. I seized again Tuesday. Trip #2-Seized again in public this time. Woke up in pouring rain to EMTs and cops. Got the Narcan, the 20 questions, and attitude in ER. This time, even after the tests all came back, I was still talked down to. They actually set me up with a psych consult the next morning. Long story short I completed it and was then asked why that was even ordered. Said your guess was as good as mine. 3 total days of judgement and questions. Had to beg to not get discharged again and to see neuro. Once I did, I got 10 mins, no tests and new meds. Yes, there is a lot of opinion and perspective here. However, Ive been in a lot of hospitalizations and know how I feel Im being treated. For a hospital in the middle of a certain Florida area, you would think they would have better, if any, bedside manor at all.

Karina Ramirez I went to ER for worst pain in my bladder stringy strong burning pain to the point I cant tell when to pee or not able to . Thats very concerning yet I was send home with no solution for the unbearable pain. I was so disappointed I left in silence and while I was outside the hospital I broke down crying. When your in pain and you need to depend on the hospital what do you even do when they are no help? Im so disappointed.

Leslie Pantoja I usually dont write reviews, but I feel its important to share our experience with this hospital. Like others have said this hospital does not even deserve a one star review. Unfortunately, it has not met our expectations in terms of care and responsiveness. My father was admitted for a foot infection, but it took over two days for him to receive antibiotics, and he has already undergone two surgeries without visible improvement. Communication has also been challenging; we have not been kept informed about potential next steps or additional surgeries. The wait times to see doctors can be long, sometimes taking 12 to 16 hours or until the next day, and staff responses to requests are often delayed. We were referred to this hospital by his primary physician, but if we had known what we know now. we would have considered alternative options. I believe that those who dedicate their lives to healthcare should prioritize patient care and communication, and I hope this review helps bring attention to areas for improvement.

Taras Skrupskyj I wanted to write this as its still fresh in my head. As First time parents, it was a tough and stressful night for us. Our 10 month old got a fever In The middle of the night. Panic and shock filled our hearts as our little ones fever was extremely high. We raced over to Emergency Room at Bethesda. Thinking of the worst, but hoping for the best we checked in. We were greeted by friendly staff. Pediatric nurse(Jennifer) and DO(Aleksandra) in the emergency pediatric wing. They both were very professional and extremely helpful. They brought ease and security to our nightmare of a night. Our little one is now home and feeling great. We need more people like them in place like these.

Peace Love In the beginning, it was a little rough with the front desk but once I realize that she was overloaded with task and pretty much was the only front desk. She really had no help. I begin to understand her shortness and at times rude approach. I was a new patient at the beginning I thought she was rude, standoffish and not helpful. Once I did go back to the doctor He was great, he’s what kept me coming back. One day I had an appointment and I came in. I saw how busy she was and I just acknowledge that “hey, I know you’re really really busy and you do a lot here and I just want to thank you for always helping me; they should have somebody helping you. She put a smile on her face and said “you’re welcome” and since then she’s the most helpful person that I can ask for in a doctors office. There’s always room for improvement in all of us. Sometimes you can’t get out of people what you want by giving back to them what they give to you. I can’t fight fire with fire You don’t combat rude by being rude. You combat by being kind to the other person who’s being rude to you. One never knows what’s going on with them and how much could be on the person so sometimes time just think about it before you write about someone being unpleasant you never know what people are going through and of course that’s not the place to experience rudeness, because we’re not well people coming to see doctors so coming into a pleasant environment it’s healthier more than dealing with someone rudeness. My health is my number one priority. Sometimes we have to do what’s best for our health.

Gus Cobos The worst staff in the world! Its already 14 months since Dr. Tackey suggested a replacement for the C-Pap that he used, first they never sent the request to my insurance until two weeks in a row I called the office to pressure him to do it! then 3 months later they call me from Dr. Tackeys office to say that the insurance does not cover the machine that I have to buy it on my own, but a week later I receive a letter from the insurance (Florida Blue) where they explain that the The reason why they did not proceed to deliver the machine is because the documentation sent by the doctors office is incomplete and they did not even fill out the form required by the insurance. Now 10 months later I am still waiting to ask them to submit the correct information to insurance.

Dominique S The lady with the glasses have no customer service at ALL, I walked in . She didn’t a knowledge me, made me Wait 15 minutes before giving me the paperwork , then snitched it out of my hand . Once back after another 20 mins she started questioning me about what’s on my driver license , that has nothing to do with her all she should worry about it the information I provided on my paperwork. Office is very dirty, chairs look as if they haven’t been cleaned EVER! I just walked out I will not be back. Didn’t even have a chance to meet the Dr because his staff ruined it for me. As someone who is a MA and worked in the medical field for 10years I would never speak the way she does to patients, she doesn’t deserve a job with that attitude! And I wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to this office with staff like that. Dr you might be great at your job but you definitely need to find a different stuff, with customer service and that knows how to treat patients!

Anna Caldwell Like others here, I have never in my life been to a doctors office with such a rude front desk person/I think she may be the nurse too? (She took my vitals during my visit.) Dr. Tackey is a fine doctor but it isn’t worth the headache of speaking to the woman at the front who answers all calls, deals with all billing, and schedules all appointments.

Road Carver Warning do not go to Bethesda hospital. Third world countries have better healthcare than Bethesda. The goal of Bethesda healthcare system is to provide as little care as possible and to charge an exorbitant amount. To ensure they provide substandard care they hire unqualified medical personnel. You will need an attorney on speed dial if you use Bethesda healthcare system. Bethesda healthcare system is the worst in Florida.

Clinton Cimring WARNING: They have violated the VA Mission Act by billing me for a surgery that I as a combat-injured veteran had through the VA. Not only that, they have now placed me in collection because the "VA did not pay them enough money."

Michael I went to Dr. Raxenberg for many years until I lost all faith in him and Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches. I went to an appointment and obtained pre-clearance for an upcoming surgery. I was told that they would send the clearance form to the surgeon. Days later, as Im on my way to the surgery I received a call from the surgeons office saying they never received the clearance form from Dr. Raxenberg and my surgery would be delayed. I called Dr. Raxenbergs office and had an unreal, idiotic conversation during which one of his admin staff casually mentioned Im sorry, we seem to have lost the record of your recent clearance appointment; could you please come in for another exam? What?! I said there was no way I could do that and still be in time for my surgery. Sadly, it didnt seem to bother the admin staff that the loss of my records meant I wouldnt be able to proceed with a surgery I had worked months to schedule. No apologies, no nothing. I asked the admin I was if she could please have Dr. Raxenberg call me. Nothing but crickets since then, except for phone calls from his staff saying Im overdue for my annual checkup. Not a chance! Its been over two year. I never heard from Dr. Raxenberg or received an apology for Medical Specialists losing my medical records (a violation of HIPPA rules in itself). I would advise anyone and everyone to avoid Dr. Raxenberg and Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches.

D (Phat Rat) Brianna at 15340 S Jog Rd with Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches is rude, callous, unprofessional & incompetent. The fact that this medical group allows mother (manager) and daughter (medical assistant) to work together is a clear indication of the lack of professionalism this medical group fails to maintain. Stay away from this medical group. Read reviews before you decide to use them. What a professional and ethical disgrace.

Andy Sones I made the next available appointment to see Dr. Kenneth Manchon here as a new patient, waited for it for more than 4 months, then got a phone call a couple of days out that my appointment was canceled and the best they could do was either a nurse practitioner in 6 weeks or a new doctor date in three months. When I asked if they could squeeze something in as Id already waited 4 months, the office told me to call back when I could decide on the September or November dates and hung up on me. Shocking service, I will never use these in people, the other reviews make clear that its not an isolated incident. Use at your own risk.

dnelson mccarthy HORRIBLE - The shame is that I love Dr. Albanese but since they have been taken over by Medical Specialists it has been a disaster, I have been without my medications for over a week, after being told today that they called it in, CVS still does not have it , and the Dr. on call Dr. Patel will not take any after hour calls related to medication refills. Their office staff is incredibly incompetent and rude. I am so disappointed my entire family goes to this practice but we will all be moving to another provider, that is 7 patients that they will be losing.

Chris Basile I am so excided that Dr. Andrew Krasner has another office besides the one in Atlantis by JFK Hospital. I requested an appointment for a hospital f/u and was offered an appointment within days at the Boynton Beach office by Bethesda West Hospital. I really did not want make that appointment as it was a new place for me to go BUT I am so happy I did. The 1st thing I notice about this office was I was able to find a parking spot. I was able to park close without using my "priority parking permit" (Disabled Parking Permit)...lol. I was able to get into the building, up the elevator and into the office without any problems. When I opened the door I was welcomed by a nice gentleman who waited until I got up to him before either stating my name out loud for other to her or ask who I was. Not every office does that. I was taken into the back by the MA staff where she took my vitals, asked me to confirm why I was there and asked me to go over my medications. I always go to office appointments with a document of my meds, history, allergies, other doctors info, etc. and gave it to her to make sure that everything was in the system. She thanked me for the information and it was scanned into my chart for later. Dr. Krasner came in to talk to me about why I was there. We talked about what happened and came up with a great plan to help me. I will monitor myself and keep in contact with the office through the app. Checkout was amazingly easy. Everyone there was "on their game" and was top notch! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK MSPB CARDIOLOGY BB!!! Thank you for everything!

Desiree Franklin My son was referred to this group through his pediatrician. We have tricare insurance and unfortunately only one provider accepts it and he only works every other Monday. I made my sons appointment for 2/24/2025 on 1/3/2025. Today at 3pm I get a call that the therapist has decided he does not want to work in the office this Monday so they are switching my son’s appointment to virtual. When I made the appointment I explained that my son would really benefit from an in person appointment and I didn’t think he would get much from a virtual appointment, at least at the beginning. I tried rescheduling and the woman offered me 3/10/2025. When I said I would take that she rudely told me she never offered that date and that’s only a day the therapist will be at the office. She then said the next opening wouldn’t be until late April or May. I asked if they could check and see if there is anything sooner since we had already been waiting for 2 months. She put me on a brief hold and then hung up on me. I tried calling back and have not been able to get through

Katie Drew Deason This place is absolutely terrible. I end up in tears every single month just trying to connect with the doctor for my appointment. I am newly pregnant and I’ve called every single day this week to confirm my very urgent appointment. My appointment was at 4:10…The doctor called me at 2:20 when I was at work, I have since called back 8 times beginning at 3:35 without any answer. This is very very unprofessional and causing the patients unnecessary stress. This place is terrible. Stay away. Thank you for responding to my review however, it’s very unprofessional and inappropriate to respond on a public platform meanwhile I have still not been taken care of. I still have not been called back for my urgent appointment that I confirmed multiple times with your office. I still have an extremely urgent concern regarding my medication and my pregnancy that I have made your office well aware of on multiple occasions.

jen p Kandace Eagle is amazing. She is very helpful, kind, caring and dependable. She has helped me with medication changes that have changed truly changed my life!!! Kandace Eagle and Dr. Jessica Evelson together have provided me 10 years of support at the Boynton Beach Compass Health Office. To say that they literally kept me ALIVE through the hardest years of my struggle with depression, suicidal thinking and anxiety doesnt begin to cover how they were literally a lifeline to me so that I could care for my son. Kandace Eagle has a wealth of knowledge in prescribing different medincines and off label use. She makes small changes and I have never felt overmedicated. She has helped and supported me in making large medication adjustments to meet my changing needs. I am very blessed to have her. In the past several years, Ive also noticed a big difference in the care I receive from Compass Health. They have been improving in customer service over the past few years.
