Michael Studley I have unfortunately been to this hospital 4 times in the last 2 months, 2 being ER visits and the others as admissions. Let me state that I am currently in substance abuse treatment. I firmly believe that affects how youre treated.
The first 2 ER trips were routine. All were after seizures (epileptic not substance), and both had waits in the waiting room of over 6 hours. I watched everybody from pregnant women (makes sense), to stomach aches, go in before me. As soon as I did get in the back, I was asked multiple times about drinking, yet offered Ativan about the same.
The last 2 trips were 8/2-8/4 & 8/6-8/9. Both after seizures in the shower and outside waiting for an Uber. Please let me state I am and have always been med compliant. This isnt about meds, its about the hospital.
As soon as I presented to EMTs, I was narcaned and asked repeatedly what I took. I had to basically fight with them to take my blood and urine to test for everything and anything. Until those came back negative, I was given an obvious attitude.
Trip #1-waited the entire weekend to see neurologist for 3 mins. She confirmed my meds and EEG and discharged me. That was Sunday. I seized again Tuesday.
Trip #2-Seized again in public this time. Woke up in pouring rain to EMTs and cops. Got the Narcan, the 20 questions, and attitude in ER. This time, even after the tests all came back, I was still talked down to. They actually set me up with a psych consult the next morning.
Long story short I completed it and was then asked why that was even ordered. Said your guess was as good as mine. 3 total days of judgement and questions. Had to beg to not get discharged again and to see neuro. Once I did, I got 10 mins, no tests and new meds.
Yes, there is a lot of opinion and perspective here. However, Ive been in a lot of hospitalizations and know how I feel Im being treated. For a hospital in the middle of a certain Florida area, you would think they would have better, if any, bedside manor at all.

Karina Ramirez I went to ER for worst pain in my bladder stringy strong burning pain to the point I cant tell when to pee or not able to . Thats very concerning yet I was send home with no solution for the unbearable pain. I was so disappointed I left in silence and while I was outside the hospital I broke down crying. When your in pain and you need to depend on the hospital what do you even do when they are no help? Im so disappointed.

Leslie Pantoja I usually dont write reviews, but I feel its important to share our experience with this hospital. Like others have said this hospital does not even deserve a one star review. Unfortunately, it has not met our expectations in terms of care and responsiveness. My father was admitted for a foot infection, but it took over two days for him to receive antibiotics, and he has already undergone two surgeries without visible improvement. Communication has also been challenging; we have not been kept informed about potential next steps or additional surgeries. The wait times to see doctors can be long, sometimes taking 12 to 16 hours or until the next day, and staff responses to requests are often delayed. We were referred to this hospital by his primary physician, but if we had known what we know now. we would have considered alternative options. I believe that those who dedicate their lives to healthcare should prioritize patient care and communication, and I hope this review helps bring attention to areas for improvement.

Taras Skrupskyj I wanted to write this as its still fresh in my head.
As First time parents, it was a tough and stressful night for us. Our 10 month old got a fever In The middle of the night. Panic and shock filled our hearts as our little ones fever was extremely high. We raced over to Emergency Room at Bethesda.
Thinking of the worst, but hoping for the best we checked in. We were greeted by friendly staff. Pediatric nurse(Jennifer) and DO(Aleksandra) in the emergency pediatric wing. They both were very professional and extremely helpful. They brought ease and security to our nightmare of a night. Our little one is now home and feeling great.
We need more people like them in place like these.
