Shonna Montgomery If I could give this place 0 stars I would. How are they even still practicing ? Very unprofessional & disorganized. Marcelo is very rude & insensitive. He does not know how to treat to or talk to patients. Nothing is up to date, building is not up to par, no AC. The assistants are incompetent, they give you the wrong lab work, there’s always one mix up or another. The only people who are good at their job here are Sherry & Libby. Throw the whole business away & let Sherry start an independent practice. Byeeee.

Shelby Had a appointment today at 8:30 my Doctor Marcello Anayas didn’t even show up until 9:40. Okay whatever. Then he proceeds to come in and ask me questions. I’m trying to answer his questions but he’s asking me things don’t don’t even make sense and aren’t even relevant to my appointment. At this point I’m getting angry. He then tells me “ oh do you have memory issues or is all that hair on top of your head that’s making you forget things”. At this point I’m livid but I stay because I really needed to be at this appointment. He continues to be extremely rude even though he has me mixed up with another patient and then storms out before even helping me in any way or apologizing for his bad behavior. Not only was he yelling at me for no reason he was also yelling at his workers that were saying nothing and just letting him talk to me crazy.I’m not sure if he is racist or what was going on. No one should ever be treated with such disrespect. I’ve never been treated so badly to the point where I’m in my car screaming and crying just so I don’t punch him in the face. I’m hurt. This man does not deserve to be anyones doctor and will be reported for his actions.

Racquel Binns Wish I knew how to report Dr. Marcelo Anayas. Terrible customer service starting with the receptionist all the way back to the doctor. Dr. Mercelo needs to retire already. He seems confused and out of it. Doesn’t listen to my complaints and constantly cut me off when I’m talking. Dr comes off as insensitive and disoriented. The wait time is ridiculously long and you feel rush when you actually do get in. The condition of the place is awful, everything is untidy and just all over the place. The stench is unbearable sometimes I gag.

Jamie Cabral The nurse practitioner we saw was amazing and great with my daughter, but the building is disgusting. It is so run down, looks dirty, and even has boards up on the doors/windows. I was late to my appointment because I drove by the building twice and thought it was an abandoned facility!

Dana Engelbert I disagree with the low star comments. Today was our first visit and we saw Dr. Sherene and she was a complete doll!! Super informative and very fun and friendly. Made my son feel very comfortable.

Denise Nelson They should NO stars!!!! My son was hurt and we waited almost 2 hrs. No one came out to even look at him. Truly Terrible place!!!! Others came in with far worse issues and got no help. Honestly not sure what people are working here for. Most of them seem to be having personal conversations or just playing on their phone. No passion for health care or taking care of people. This place really needs something done. For treating a child like that CPS should get involved for not helping and letting him sit in pain. As a mom I kept asking when can they see him and they would just tell me too wait and go back on there phone. Very disappointing experience.

Amber Hudson I really hate coming here to the main campus for any reason. the mental ward is a joke. if you bring your own medications and in like the mental ward they get a hold of them and lock them up. then you have to have an Drs order to be able to take your own medications.then you better be dammed if they forget to give them to you. it might take 7 or more months like it did for me for them to find it and mail it to you. the rest of the hospital has its ups and downs but the mental ward needs to do a better job of making sure that what the patient comes in with they go home with all of it.

Choy Susan (Suzie) If I could give zero stars I would! My son is currently in the ER since 11 AM with symptoms of appendicitis and is still waiting to have CT scans (5 hours later)… They’ve kept him sitting on a chair in a hallway the entire time with no access to a bed as he’s there in pain. I called to get an update the first time and they were as helpful as they could, but when I called over an hour later for an update because he was still sitting there I was told to call back in 30 minutes because they have 3 emergencies. My son is in the emergency room… he’s also an emergency!!!! Disgraceful

Lesley H The residents of Daytona Beach & Volusia county deserve better treatment than this. Both of my now deceased parents had their ends of life significantly impacted negatively by the lack of care & organization at this hospital. If this hospital isn’t able to provide sufficient medical care, it should be shut down. At least then when the EMTs asked which ER to have your loved one taken to, you wouldn’t make the mistake we did of saying Halifax. I pray that anyone dealing with an emergency in the Daytona area receives some piece of a message that directs them to Advent Health instead. Would leave 0 stars if I could.

Ms. Janice We’ve been here numerous times. I recommend you take a much further drive to a professional office. They treat the children having a crises here very poorly. They discriminate against low income parents- they will demand you pick up the child at that very moment or they’re opening a DCF CASE FOR NEGLECT. That’s a shame. Not everyone has a support system, not everyone can walk out of work. They also do NOT accept CUSTODIAL COURT ORDERS. “That’s a civil matter.” Again, take a much further drive if you care about the welfare of your loved one.

VBabii 88 _ Place is a joke and needs to be shut down. Its changed over the years. Youre better off taking your child miles away to something more professional. Dr. Prasad was a good doctor, but Dr.Afridi does not listen. And others dont as well.

Aydon Cain i came here because i’ve been having a really rough go and i finally had the courage to speak to a therapist, when we arrived me and my mom waited for hours to even see the screener who asked me a few questions then disappeared for like 20 minutes when he came back he said i could stay the night and participate in group therapy and one on one therapy as well as other activities like going to the gym and such, or i could wait until october 14th for an appoinment. i agreed to stay the night as i actually kind of liked the sound of having these resources. when my mom signed the sheets he didn’t give her over half of them mostly the ones that say they are allowed to touch me and give me medicine against my will, more on that later, so me and my mom thought this would be good. when i entered the in-patient area a very rude and cold staff member made me sign some stuff with a marker then i changed my shorts and she gave me some blankets to put on my bed. then they ignored me for about 6 hours while i slept before waking me to answer my moms call. afterwards i just went back to my room and they never called me out again, i went back out around 8:45 and asked to speak to my mom as it was the calling time and they said i had to wait my turn and someone will come get me when it’s time, nobody ever came so i went and asked again and was told no because she was on the phone with someone, so i waited out there this time and they finally let me speak to my mom, i asked her to please come get me as i haven’t been given anything i was promised and they forced the call to hang up and told me to go back to my room, i refused and asked them to call her back because i wasn’t done talking, one of the nurses then smiled and laughed at me and walked into a back room with another nurse, a few minutes later a cop and another nurse show up and they start surrounding me, keep in mind all i did here was refuse to go back to my room because i wasn’t given a chance to speak to my mother. so they’re surrounding me and i started to back away before one nurse says “GO” and all the sudden two nurses lunged at my legs and flipped me to my back while the other two held down my arms then they carried me while ripping off my pants in the public social area and put me into a room with nothing but matress and camera, then the nurse that was in the back room comes out with not one BUT TWO needles full of medicine they refused to identify for me and gave me both doses in my left buttcheek then left me to lay there in the room having a panick attack during which i caught my breath and said “i can’t breathe” when i said this the nurse looked at me and laughed and ignored me before walking me back to my bed and leaving me there for the night (my mom never signed anything giving them permission to touch me nor use any medication on me because she was never presented with those papers) this morning they finally allowed me to have hygiene products and discharged me, i’m scared man 2 needle marks from the double dose of medicine they gave me illegally while forcefully holding me to the ground

keyondra williams I sent my child to Halifax to get help and the doctor decided that she did not need to be there but what Im trying to understand is if Im sending her there is a reason I just think this place is not fit for children because the doctors are being lazy instead of doing their job stating that my daughter doesnt fit the criteria so the question is what is the criteria when a parent is crying out for help

Judy B Been going here for years. Dr.s are great and take time to listen to patients concerns and are flexible on medication adjustments. While some are nice the majority of the office staff is absolute nightmare. You either cannot get them on the phone, leave messages and no call back, or they never send the link for your online appt, and then you’re told to reschedule. Also been hung up on frequently. Get told different things by different people depending on who you talk to. All of what I’m saying here has happened on multiple occasions. I would recommend searching for somewhere that makes it easier for you to get taken care of, because you cannot guarantee medication for every month as you cannot guarantee the office staff will be able to accommodate an appointment for you. Very hit or miss

M Martelli What a terrible experience period everyone who answers the phone there is unqualified and untrained. Right in the first 5 minutes I told them I only wanted to see doctors not nurse practitioners because the medicines I need cannot be prescribed by them. They repeatedly asked me if everything was court-ordered I dont know if this is some kind of DUI or drug treatment program but I felt like a criminal. They charged me $100 for some ridiculous assessment. Then they charged me $180 before I even saw what I thought was going to be a doctor and turned out to be a nurse practitioner.

Sarah Tovar I have been coming here for years for my mental health needs and have always had good providers that listen to my concerns and come up with a good plan to better accommodate my mental illness. The thing I wish they would improve on is the receptionists by training them properly. When you call this mental health center you are connected to a call center and there is no way to directly reach the office, which is a major inconvenience. When finally reaching someone the staff typically does not know how to speak to patients as they are rude with a tone/attitude. It might sound like a small issue but if you ask me, staff should know how to speak to patients better, especially being a mental health office. 5 stars to the providers that listen and address all of my concerns. 1 star to the receptionists who are highly untrained. 3 stars overall.

Dana DONT waste your time and money!! Was told after my zoom Interview next appointment I would be helped with my medication (Took over a month to be seen) They lied all I received was a quick 5 min appointment were she did not listen to me, and said I was required to get labs and an ekg before she would help me. Wouldnt even help me with getting off my current medicine which is making me sick, and sleep all day!

Tica Williams BEWARE. THEY SHOULD NOT EVEN HAVE 1 STAR. From point one of contact they say you will see a therapist and then psychiatrist. THEY LIE ABOUT THEIR CREDENTIALS and you never actually see a psychiatrist. The person making the appointment said they have plenty of psychiatrists and the Nicole Fritch the therapist would assign one. NICHOLE FRITCH said the next person we would see would be a psychiatrist and would probably only be a 10 minutes appointment. She new well that we were NOT going to see a Psychiatrist (which is a medical doctor MD/DO with psychiatric training). LILIANA DURKEE IDENTIFIED HERSELF AS A PSYCHIATRIST, to find out later she is only a APRN. THAT....IS A FELONY. She also gave wrong advise and when my son was in need waiting for a possible trial of a medication for ADHD, she offered nothing for the extreme anxiety or sleepless nights. The receptionist confirmed the have NO PSYCHIATRIST on staff that she knows of. Nest step was talking to DEBRA S- which refused to give her last name and was VERY rude. Finally was transfered to DEBBIE THOMPSON that claims to be the Clinical Director in the corporate office...that said she would "talk to " the people involved. We all know how that goes. So its concluded that they have 1 psychiatrist somewhere, a ton of APRN impersonating psychiatrist and therapists that are licensed or not. (I know another that also goes there and all this time thought she was being treated by a psychiatrist because who/what they identified themselves as!) Please take your or your childrens mental health needs elsewhere. Thank God my Son doesnt have serious mental issues. This experience could have turned out very differently for another person or child.

Melissa Parks cant get ahold of anyone at this office. The number is automated and then it goes to a mailbox that disconnects you. God forbid an actual patient needs to get in touch. I really hope they have a different phone number for them if they are ever in need.
