J Pinto Took a year to schedule this appointment and wasnt able to get the provider I wanted. Dr. Pareek was condescending, and none of the medical team took my medical history or looked at the records I brought. Dr. Pareek seems knowledgeable, and I did learn new things in the visit, however, he reminds me of everything wrong with the healthcare system: not up to date, dismissive/gaslighting, and no regard for the patients history (which goes beyond "ranges of normalcy"; ex: just because my BP is within normal range does NOT mean that its normal for ME). As someone that has worked in healthcare simply to understand how it works, find someone that wants to get to know your body and allows you to make informed decisions; beware those that assume and tell you what to do without much information provided and then belittle you for taking charge of your OWN health. For more positives: The rest of the staff was friendly. Facilities are clean and organized. The Advent app and website is great.

Isabella Skye Been trying to make an appointment for almost two weeks now. Disclosed a sensitive document to them and now they just have access to it without me being in their care. I’m really upset about this as I signed off for them to tell me my next steps in treatment. Receptionist said they don’t make appointments unless you disclose the information. Told me the hematologist had to call me about the whole thing. Just to make an appointment. They have called me three times and everytime you answer or call back it redirects you to a call center. Then it’s a disaster trying to get in contact with where you were originally working with the receptionist at whatever location it was. Move on and find somewhere else to go, it’s a mess trying to get in here. They have no idea what they are doing. Super unprofessional, and I’m really mad that they just have my document now to share with the world after doing nothing to help me.

Chuck OPTUM KISSIMMEE THE STAFF AND DR. VEGA AND THE OTHE PHYSICIANS THAT WE SEE OCCASIONALLY When necessary are all wonderful. Dr. Vega is our PCP and he is so knowledgeable about all my health issues and my wifes also. He is very up on best medications he has controlled my wifes blood pressure with adjustment if medication that has worked when nothing else did. Both my wife and I enjoy the family atmosphere that is displayed by all the staff that we deal with. Thank you for everything Dr. Vega and your team.

Nancy I have been a Patient here for over 12 years. Dr. Link is a beautiful soul and has a heart of gold. Dr. Gittings is a GODSEND. She has been my physician since her start here and I have the complete understanding that of my medical needs and takes her time with the patient. I have seen them go through numerous name changes but that does not affect ( in my opinion) the care that I receive from Dr. Gittings. She is very thorough and her expertise is phenomenal. This is the first time in my life that I feel completely understood by a doctor. I never have problems with referrals, Lab orders and in urgent situations- I get a call back quickly. The Case Management team is superb. The girls upfront are engaging and inviting. My only concern is confidentiality. It is important to ensure confidentiality at all times even in the lobby area. I am really big on this and have experienced breaks in confidentiality; which I reported right away. Sometimes when you have to give your name, DOB, phone number and medical concern...it is spoken in front of those waiting in the lobby. THAT to me is a big NO NO in any office. I just love this place. I thank Dr. Michael Link for all he does, Dr. Vega and Dr. Gittings. Wonderful Professionals.

Rafael Peña I been with this company for many years, but specifically the person in charge of referrals need some training in manner and learn how to treat people. Not being so snotty.

Kristoffer Vazquez This is probably one of the worst experiences I’ve had trying to get seen by a pcp. I scheduled an appointment in December for January 4 th which was rescheduled due to over scheduling. I was rescheduled for February 12th but was then called and canceled on the day prior to the appointment because the doctor would not be in. So I rescheduled for march 11 and was called now to reschedule for April. 1/10 do not recommend going to this doctor the staff was not helpful at all and they didn’t really care about my appointment or my time.

Peggy Stein This practice is useless! My husband & I have used them for our Primary Care for over 20 years, as have our daughter & her family. They have changed their name about 6 times over the years. They continue to get worse each time. They advertise that they are available 24/7 if you are sick. That is not true! We have called them for urgent care where we were very ill & needed to see a doctor right away. Each time we were told it would be 4-6 weeks before they could see us. Of course we could not wait that long, so we have had to use Centra Care every time. Last week, I was scheduled for a hip replacement that has to happen quickly. My daughter came into your office on Friday to schedule an appointment for surgery clearance. There is no use to call your office because no one ever answers the phone & IF you get a call back, it takes days! She was told that we would get a call to schedule this appointment next week Monday or Tuesday. She said that was not acceptable and to forget it. She had just come from Cardiovascular Associates where she was immediately given an appointment for me on 11/3, yesterday, for cardio clearance and an EKG. Orlando Orthopedics has a Primary Care who can see their patients for surgery clearance. They immediately gave me an appointment & got labs scheduled tomorrow. I go to ORMC for my pre admission testing on Friday. There is no excuse to put up with such care from a Primary we have had for over 20 years. We are finished with your practice! Matthew Borg Waiting for an appointment, sat down in a chair with ants. Listening to staff treat other vets with attitudes. The nurse gave directions to stay, then when the patient didnt understand, she sat down and talked about how people dont listen. Staff were on their phones and eating at the desk, which probably adds to the ants. Ive seen bad va clinics but this was disgraceful. Why have doors for employees safety if they are not used?

A Pritchett I was worried about being assigned here after seeing the reviews... but I have not had a problem yet. They have always answered when I call, staff has been nice and professional, get appts pretty quick along with referrals. Have been to quite a few clinics and this one has been more helpful than other ones.

Douglas McIntyyre They must have part time Walmart employees working at this clinic, they never answer the phone. I called back several times giving them more than enough time to to say will you hold. And place my call in line. SO Ill have to assume they like their gravy job..just collect a check.

Wesley Booth Jr For 3 years, every single time I have called this clinic, no one has answered. Except one time, someone answered and immediately hung up without saying anything. Today I called 5 times. Nothing. Was always told by a provider it was because they were busy. For 3 years? However, the clinical staff were very professional and helpful.

They continued to make me wait in agony for another hour in the waiting room. Subpar treatment, even from the doctors,and no concern for patients.

Lucy García Today I had an appointment for an injection in my knee. I explained my case to the doctors assistant, and she was so rude. She told me there was no point in giving me another dose since it hadnt worked before, that my insurance was bad and low. She asked me if I had money to pay for the gel treatment; otherwise, she would arrange for me to be operated on by another doctor. I was left in shock... I couldnt believe what she was saying. On top of that, she acted as the translator for the doctor (who must have told her that he left), and I was left with nothing... Its a shame that I just now see the reviews for the medical center, otherwise, I wouldnt have gone....It’s a shame that one person can make a doctor and a company, whose only goal is to help so many people.

Pete Get ready to wait over a month for an appointment and then hours after your appointment time waiting for the doctor. Get ready for a nursing staff with poor communication and a huge amout of patients so you definitely know you will be waiting 2x much as another place.

Tina B I made an appointment a month ago. The person who made my appointment said she does not think they take my insurance anymore. I said that is fine I could be self pay, she preceded to give me the price. I went there today to be told that I can not self pay because I have insurance (even though they do not take it). Since when can a person not choose to pay their bill instead of using insurance. If I did not have insurance I could be seen but if you have insurance that they don’t take, then you can’t self pay or be seen!!??!! They tried to tell me it would be fraud for me to pay and be seen. Sounds more like they are doing fraud Fay refusing to see me self pay because I have insurance. Unfortunately I really like Dr Blum who I was supposed to see today but this office has gone to crap since they are now part of Advent. They just lost a lost time patient because of this.

Pedro Aviles Made my appointment and came in for my service 2/27/23. Did paperwork online they took my Co-pay after 1:45 minutes waiting I was told they had not checked me in. How did they take my money. Got a refund and RAN out with my Bad leg. This place is a joke. They need to get rid of the entire front desk help and start from scratch. They don’t know what the hell they are doing. Should have looked at reviews before visit.

Celeste Montalvo Receptionists are rude and unprofessional. Doctor is only concerned with insurance payments and not concerned with patient care. My grandmother has been seeing him for years and receiving facet joint injections with absolutely no relief and if anything it got worse. She’s still in alot of pain, he’s not even a certified anesthesiologist and doesn’t provide pain relief or care about his patients. His bedside manners are like a wet mop, needs to go back to medical school. This place needs to be shut down, luckily my grandmother has found a good doctor thanks to my mother Evelyn Naranjo and now she’s getting the pain relief that she needs.

Timothy Shaffer I initially went to the Dr. On July 19th I told him I was self pay. I had a referral from another Dr. He said he had to do an initial visit first and I had to Pay $375 in cash no credit card. That was very suspicious. He seen me for literally 5 minutes and then rescheduled for a blocker shot. I went to get the shot and had to pay $750 in CASH! So I did because of the pain I am in. The shot last for about 10 days. He did schedule a follow up. When I went for the follow up that is usually free the tried to Charge me $175 CASH again. I walked out. This is crazy. Any Dr that ask for CASH is pretty crazy in this day and age. The staff was rude as well. Please steer clear of here if I had to pay cash no telling what is going on! I am very disappointed! Now I have to find another Dr. to get my Sciatica under control!

Nick rodriguez Dr. Carlos Placer’s medical license should be revoked. My son had two appointments with the doctor and both time he was assisted by a student nurse acting as a doctor. (Never met the doctor). My wife called in multiple occasions and the doctor is never available. It seems like Mr. Placer is running an insurance SCAM.

D Bloom Went to the office of Dr. Placer and his receptionist on the right when you walk in is the most nastiest, disrespectful woman you can meet. She talks about you or other people in Spanish thinking you don’t understand and when you let her know of her disrespect, she blows you off. This was my second visit. Dr. Placer also has no bed side manner whatsoever. He’s arrogant and rude when it comes to explaining any test results. His attitude is just as bad as his receptionist. I would stay clear of this office.

Jorge Nazario I am a doctor And I had never had such an unpleasant experience with another doctor. The way he treated me was very bad. I do not expect special treatment, but if he treats all his patients that way, poor them. At one point I tried to talk about a pain management device and he left the office and left me talking to myself. Well I dont recommend it to anyone

Brandon C. Theres a sign in the office that says a new patient appointment is 1 hr MINIMUM, meaning you’ll be sitting in the back room for 1 hour before you even get to see the doctor. I waited over 1 hr, and then saw the doctor for no more than 3 minutes. He was extremely rude to me; he snapped at me and interrupted me when I was trying to explain my symptoms and bloodwork. He literally had his back to me the entire time before I was rushed out of there. It was a demoralizing experience. I turned down a second appointment.

Cyndi Warren Dr Lodhi is a good doctor in that he knows how to treat RA, but he has the worst bedside manner of any doctor Ive ever been to. For example, he went out of the country from November to December and left no one to refill medicine. I had to go without my meds for a month because of this.

Beverly Kraus This doctor is all about the money, had only 2 visits neither of them lasting more than 5 mins, if you want a doctor who cares this is not your man. He sent me for a lot of bloods that had nothing at all to do with my condition, I now owe $156 to lab quest thats after insurance. At least I know I dont have syphilis.

John Medina First the a/c is not turned on, therefore a full office and everyone suffocating. Second, this so called professional has complete disregard for patients time. Does not care, let them wait. I walked out after one hour inside on the little room.

Susan B Why is it so difficult to speak to a person on the phone. I went in person to discuss a script that was sent to my pharmacy which was never received. I am now into week three of not being able to get this office to understand they just have to resend a script. You have to leave a message with clinical staff which is never returned. You call and the receptionist will kindly tell you that she is sending a message to the clinical staff. What a surprise, no one calls me or responds. The management at this office is very poor. I will find another digestive care office to go to. Ms. Colon, and Dr. Gomez were helpful and attentive, however, there is something wrong with the office staff and their organization. Fix it folks, people are complaining.

Alice Wagner I have been a patient for over five years. I called for an appointment and left a message. Called again the next day. Calls for appointments were never returned. Finally I went into the office today deciding that was the only way to get an appointment and was told it would be two months even though I was having stomach pains. Made an appointment for the next day with a different practice. Sad that this office is so dysfunctional as AdventHealth has always been my first choice.

Erica Montgomery Aida Colon, ARNP shouldn’t be in practice and should have her license revoked!! She has terrible bedside manner, argues with the patient and then falsifies medical records stating she did an exam when all she did was type on her computer and never touch the patient!! She shouldn’t be allowed to treat patients as I’m scared how many have died because of her poor/ nonexistent care she provides. Additionally the staff has you arrive an hour early for your appointment only to end up waiting 3+ hours for the provider, probably because she is arguing with the patient before you and not listening to their complaints or ailments.. Worst care I have ever experienced and I work in healthcare!! This woman must be stopped before she hurts or kills someone she hasn’t already!

Megan Guerrero I started coming to this office back in February complaining of upper abdominal pain. At first it seemed fine. But then I had to get in touch with the office because the medication I was changed to was unable to be filled due to insurance. After the pharmacy sent multiple faxes to this office regarding this. I started calling. I called several times before a new medication was final sent over. This took weeks, but due to how long I’d had to wait for an appointment almost 3 months I decided to stay so I could get my endoscopy done. Had the procedure done, very nice Dr. but then it was another 3 weeks for a follow up. In the meantime more problems and symptoms started to occur. I tried calling to get a sooner appointment and it was the same thing no one answered. Follow up finally came around and I told Mellisa Belrado the nurse practitioner everything that was going on. And she told me to change my diet (lowfodmap) and she would order a stool test. I did everything she told me to do. My symptoms only got worse instead of better. And my stool test came back abnormal and noone called me. The pain became severe so I went to the E.R. Twice. It wasn’t until the second E.R. Visit that the er dr.found that I have a lower g.i bleed. However because my hemoglobin is stable I was sent home and told to follow up immediately with my gastro. It has been a week since the first er visit and 1 day since the second. I have called non stop since last week Friday leaving message after message and no return call. I even spoke yesterday to nurse Jackie and explained the situation and what was found at the emergency room and was told by Jackie to just go back to the er if I’m not well. And when I tried to explain again to her that I was just released from the er and I need to see my gastro dr immediately for a colonoscopy to find out why I am bleeding inside she she hold and transferred me right back to the same answering machine I have left multiple messages on. I do not understand what the problem is with this office or practice but I am bleeding inside and I have no idea why and I cannot even get a phone call back on the situation. The EMERGENCY ROOM IS NOT MY DR. I have a gastroenterologist for a reason. And I should be able to call my Dr. office and schedule an appointment immediately whenever I need to not to mention when there is clearly a problem happening inside of me. I expect more out of Advent Health Dr offices. And should be able to get proper care.

Rachel DeJesus Dr Gomez is a great doctor however I don’t understand why the staff overbooked patients and when you need a follow up because you were in the ER and were told by the ER doctor to follow up with your gastro doctor you are not able to get an appointment. I too have experience calling the office many times trying to get a quicker appointment leaving messages which the voice message says to leave and they will get back to you In 24 to 48 hours and they don’t call back. 24-48 hours could be fatal for any given patient who has been to the ER with an emergency. Why can’t they leave open appointments for people who might need to see their Gastro Doctor in cases like these. Un fortunately though I like Dr Gomez I must look elsewhere for my treatment. I have been coming to this office since 2013 I’m truly sad to have to leave but my health comes before all else.
