5 /5 Richard Fox: I was working on my Honda Civic 07, and one of the bolts stripped off from the back of the power steering pump, and it was leaking underneath, so I took it to CAM Auto Repair, and the team replaced the bolt and put in 2 new O-rings and helped me learn how to fix it if it ever stripped again. Dakota not only fixes problems but also shares knowledge and expertise on the process of bolt extraction. Customer service is top-notch! Friendliest automotive business I ever dealt with. 5 /5 Cloe Davenport: To the one literal person that gave this establishment one star Please make yourself comfortable while I explain why that entire review is nothing but BS Before I even untangle the web of deception Im curious as to why a third party mechanic was involved in the first place if one has the ability to swap out the part themselves. So if that actually happened not sure why it was even taken into a garage in the first place I dont think I have enough room to type to specifically break it all down but basically when you take the car in to have somebody look at it chances are you have no idea or maybe some but not all idea of what the problem is. When the license professional that you hired on your own volition encounters other problems while diagnosing/replacing/fixing/whatever during said process that he was hired for which by the way you probably signed off some paperwork before he even got started It is his duty to inform you that additional repairs will need to be made You are also given the option as to whether you want to have said repaired done at your expense. This sounds to me like judgment issues not customer service issues. And on a personal note my family has used this garage literally for the better part of 50 years as we are locals to the area. Theyve been open longer than Ive been alive. They also specialize in alternators or they did at one point before art retired and turned it over to another person who already worked there. So if you go to an alternator specialist with a question about electricity and youre paying money to do so chances are it would be smart to accept their advice. As for the service for what it is the size of the staff the size of the garage and how busy they always are which always says volumes about a one-star review cough cough They get it done right they get it done quick and if youre not a jerk to him when you go in there chances are theyll find a way to save you a few dollars Sorry you had a bad experience to that particular user but outside looking in that looks like a personal problem not a service rendered for payment received problem These guys are awesome Dont believe me?
