Elroy took time and checked our truck and quickly discovered the back tire was separating. Even though he couldnt fix the tire he referred us to someone close who took care of us. What a great experience we had with DT s. They were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us.

I was halfway through a 300 mile roadtrip when my check engine light came on & my car started having performance problems. After calling 7 other places, DTs was the only garage around willing to work on my car on a Friday. They diagnosed & helped find several solutions within a few hours to get me back on the road safely. Beyond grateful for their experience & compassion. Definitely recommend and would use them again!

The mechanics openly communicated with me throughout the entire process and did their due diligence to not only fix the specific thing I asked them to but to make sure there wasnt a bigger or related problem before they released my car to me, which after an awful experience with the dealership, I really appreciate. I will be taking my car to them for everything going forward.

With so many great reviews and numerous recommendations from Tallahassee’s subreddit, I decided to call them for a wheel bearing repair estimate. After contacting several other suggested shops, I ultimately chose D+T’s, as they provided the most competitive estimate. Not only did I not pay a cent over the quoted price, but they also completed the repair exceptionally well — getting me in and out in less than 24 hours. I can’t overstate how friendly and professional the staff were, or the immense relief I felt knowing I had finally found the dependable mechanic I’d been searching for in Tallahassee (which, as we know, can feel like finding a needle in a haystack!). This business truly deserves support, and I will be recommending D+T’s to everyone I know.

5 /5 terry richmond: I have been coming here for 2 years now just recently I have bought a truck and it was making a noise I figured it was my belt tensioner and it needed to be replaced. I took it to them and they immediately knew it was the tensioner and the belt also they knew I had a new water pump which I just installed. It only took 30 minutes to put on and was quick. Senior and I forgot his name told me also that the place I bought it from knew about the tensioner since it was oiled with belt grease to quiet it down. I recommend if you buy a new vehicle or before take it to these guys before buying to inspect they will immediately find the problem s before it’s too late.
