5 /5 Jay Listed: I cannot say enough good things about Nate and the entire staff at Evans Automotive. I have a vehicle with 26 inch rims and finding good tires seems to be very difficult. After an insanely bad experience with a tire shop in Jacksonville, Nate and the team at Evans went above and beyond to help me get my vehicle situated. They thoroughly made sure I was pleased with the ride and continued to check up to make sure everything was still good, well after the install. As long as Im living in St Augustine, I will not take any of my vehicles anywhere else.

They were efficient had the work done in the time frame they quoted me and their prices were good for the amount of work they did. Excellent experience overall. I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back to Evans Automotive for any future needs.

4 /5 Dustin Ellinwood: I was stuck in St. Augustine during a long road trip when my front axle U-joints started clicking. Evan’s Automotive was booked solid but still made room to get the repair done quickly, which I genuinely appreciated — they had me back on the road in a few days. The work itself seems solid — they used quality Spicer U-joints and spent several hours on the job. However, the total bill was $1,200, including $200 per U-joint, which is well above retail price. I understand there’s markup, but that felt excessive, especially when you can typically find these parts for $35–50. I’m grateful for the fast turnaround and quality work, but I’d advise others to ask for a full breakdown upfront and be aware of pricing if you’re not a local. Fair work — just very high on cost.
