1 /5 Patricia Sciriha: I went here to rent a u-haul trailer and the only one available was too small for what I needed it for. I was going to go somewhere else, but was told I could rent a truck for only a few dollars more and since it looked like it was going to rain, I did decide that was the better option. We explained that we only needed it for two hours max, as we were just moving a couch for my son. The price he quoted us was $44, which was $20 more than what the trailer was and I told him I didn’t want to spend that much, but he said that was for the mileage after asking how far we were going (26 miles round trip) I did finally agree to it. We had the truck back in under two hours and only put 26 miles on it. I noticed the next day in my bank that I was charged $76 and when we called to inquire why we were overcharged he told us we had to call corporate and it was out of his hands. So once he got his money which he scammed us for he was done with us. We were lied to and overcharged and nothing was done about it. After calling corporate, we did get $15 back… so it cost us $61 for less than two hours to use a truck to move a couch. Ridiculous.
