4 /5 Tim Chappell: The River District is a pretty cool area and probably one of the better spots in Fort Myers for nightlife. While Fort Myers doesn’t have a ton going on, this area stands out with several good restaurants, some funky boutique shops, and a few other unique places to explore. It’s nothing too over-the-top, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something to do in the evening or want to enjoy a meal somewhere a bit more interesting than a typical chain restaurant, like those you’d find at the Forum. Overall, it’s a nice, laid-back area with some charm and character.
