5 /5 James Keeling: I am relatively new to Sarasota/Bradenton and have been trying several new churches to attend.   Today was our (my wife, my granddaughter,  and me) first visit to Riverlife Church.   We went to the 11:30 service on March 30.  On the outside,  the area and church property look nice.   Inside seems well kept and clean.   We were warmly greeted by a few people.   We made our way into the sanctuary,  and it was inviting as well.   It was also clean and nice,  but not overdone.   I got a good feeling in there.   When the worship music started,  it was soft and easy.   They played a few songs, and I enjoyed my worship time.   The last song had a young woman solo,  and she had a beautiful voice.   After video announcements and a welcome from a pleasant young man,  the pastor came up to preach.   He spoke of Daniel with Shadrach,  Mesach, and Abednego and the fiery furnace.   He did a fine job and related it to us in the present.   After closing,  he ended with prayer.   Overall,  it was a special time,  and we certainly will be giving Riverlife another look.   We have now visited several churches and will soon decide on a new home church,  and Riverlife could very well be where we land!
