lynette diaz This is the most disorganized school I have ever applied to. I never get a call back, my emails are never answered and when someone does finally pick up they will sound like they simply don’t care. Even with registration, if I could I’d do it on my own but it says I need to speak to an advisor first… HELLOOOOO IVE BEEN CALLING AND EMAILING AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER ME.

Troy Swittenburg Great overall campus is situated in a great location within the city of Orlando. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable about the university. I would highly recommend visiting UCF if youre in the area.

Julia Montez Let me be very honest: UCF is not the student-centered, supportive university it claims to be. It’s a party school with a great marketing team, and that’s about it. If you’re a serious student trying to stay on track academically, good luck getting the help you need. I’ve been a student here for nearly four years, and the academic advising at the Nicholson School has been a constant nightmare. I’ve consistently struggled to get answers to the simplest questions, and when something important or time-sensitive comes up—like trying to register for transient summer classes—you’re basically left on your own. I emailed three times over two weeks asking for help registering for Valencia classes, which I need in order to stay on track with my degree. These classes are also tied to my tuition reimbursement from my employer. No one responded. It wasn’t until I sent a third email—clearly expressing my frustration and fear of missing out on registration—that I finally got a response. And what did I get? One sentence telling me to contact the Registrar’s Office. That’s it. I followed that advice. The Registrar’s Office told me they have nothing to do with transient student approvals and that this matter should absolutely be handled by advising. So not only was I ignored for a long time, but I was given completely wrong information. This just confirmed something I’ve suspected for a while: the advisors, including my own—Margo—don’t know what they’re doing, or worse, don’t care enough to find out. Out of desperation, I even emailed the President’s Office. I poured my heart into that email—explaining how this was affecting my education, my finances, and my mental health—and guess what? No response. Not even an automated reply. I transferred to UCF from USF during my first semester because I thought this place would be a better fit—somewhere I could thrive and feel supported. At USF, I got emails from my advisor every semester checking in on me, not just academically but personally. At UCF, I’ve had to beg for help, and when I get it, it’s either wrong, late, or dismissive. I paid for placement tests, kept a high GPA, and got into a limited access major. I’ve done everything I was supposed to do. But it feels like the university doesn’t care about students who aren’t just here to party or take pictures in front of the Student Union. This school prides itself on being one of the biggest in the country—but if you cant support the students you already have, what’s the point of bragging about size or rankings? I’ve never felt more invisible than I have at UCF. If you’re looking for a university that actually supports its students: keep looking. UCF will sell you the dream, but when it comes time to ask for help, you’ll be met with silence.

Olivia Y. I wasnt too sure about UCF prior to visiting... but its absolutely gorgeous. They have so much to offer, and a good location, except its pretty close to my own house, personally, which is the only thing I dont like. They architecture is gorgeous, and the traffic isnt too terrible, even on game days! Theres a lot of options for things to do in the error as well as good educational options at the school, too, of course.

Ty B If I could give this school 0 stars, I would. I can’t believe I’m wasting my GI bill on a school that only cares about my money and not my knowledge. There are a small handful of good instructors, but some are downright disrespectful and could care less if you grasp the concepts. As nearly a 30 year old man, I am astounded at how disrespectful I’ve been addressed at this school by certain instructors. You won’t learn to work on cars at this school. This may as well be an expensive corporate summer camp. If you have another option for automotive technician education, I advise you to go there.

Chay Shear I had a great experience training at MMI in Orlando, FL! There is so much I want to say about this program and the instructors, but Ill try to keep it short. There are so many mixed reviews about UTI/MMI & I understand why... the GI bill for our military is the lifeline that keeps this school alive & its bad practice to bite the hand that feeds you, so the programs are basically set up to pass every student as long as attendance requirements are met. With that being said, it really is a matter of WHAT YOU WANT TO GET OUT OF IT! If you WANT TO LEARN, the instructors are full of so much knowledge, information, experience & the desire to teach! I can honestly say that I learned something valuable from every instructor that will help me in my future as a technician. Chmielewski*, Pogorzelski, Duray*, Wynn*, Lohlein, Redel*, Marrippodi*, Stein, Marsh, Mentzel, Stellato*, Reddick*, & Jackson. And my appreciation goes beyond the instructors as well... Tim Yarborough went up to bat for me when my circumstances caused me to postpone my stay date (more than once). Reinke & Sanchez were always helpful if I needed them. And Natalee Rojas... I didnt think I would need career services, but I was soo wrong! This woman put in the work to help me find a new job after Orlando HD let me go. She never gave up on me even when all seemed pointless & I switched to metric. I got several interviews thanks to her referrals for me & continuing to send my resume to employers. 2 months after I graduated and Natalee was still in contact with me & steady putting my info out there to every motorcycle shop with an opening. She believed in me when I started doubting myself & her persistence for almost a year affords her my utmost appreciation & I cant thank her enough! She is awesome! So thats my short version. MMI FACULTY can facilitate an exceptional experience & can provide anyone with more knowledge than he/she will know what to do with as well as be a fantastic resource for helping set a path to a CAREER of your dreams IF YOU WANT IT! -- Chay

Hujano - Ridiculous pricing, ended up paying 52k after signing up. They make you clean and mop the floors after class. They have a stupid late and absent point system where if youre late or absent a certain amount of times you fail the course and have to spend $750 to retake it (even with a doctors note. Personal experience). Even after graduation you still make base pay as a lube tech (currently working at a dealership so my word is the truth). Id recommend going somewhere cheaper and more in depth like Seminole State where you actually get trained in a legit dealership.

The teachers are great, very hands on and always willing to help in whatever way they can. I recommend going to this school.

Sabrina Cassamajor It was never in my plans to come to this school to become a medical assistant. It just took a little push and just like that I signed up for the program and never looked back. The professors (who are now deans, admins or just simply left) were the best. They were really my mentors that help push me to become the medical assistant I am today. After I completed the 8-month program, I got a job offer before graduation. I was then offered to sign up for the associates program for the medical assistant. This school is not built for the weak but if you walk in with a negative mindset then it will be very hard to succeed. Its okay to have some classmates that you work closely with but at the end of the day dont let someone else dim your light and pivot from your end goal and that is to get your Get your certification and make that MONEY!! I would like to say Thank you to Ms. Michelle, Ms. Legrand, Ms. Carrie, Mr. Ryan, Ms. Stefank and Leo the security guard. Thank you for the push and for the words of affirmations that motivated me to finish to the end!

Came prepared, just for them to tell me to scan the QR on the desk and set an appointment…..you don’t think that’s something to say on the website? So people don’t just show up? And to make it worse they didn’t have any appointments available at all! Ridiculousness.

vickrum rum This was actually one of the worst colleges i’ve been to. FAFSA dropped with no notification, staff is always lost, school is too crowded, and I was told many different things in order to transfer to UCF. So much misinformation here didn’t even end up staying in Orlando anymore.

Joe Garcia Unfortunately I have no other choice but to leave this review for Valencia as someone who is in active duty military. I started working 12 hours a day in Hawaii and constantly reached out to the staff. For help or some assistance while trying to navigate a fast pace environment when working up for a deployment. I ended up not being able to pass one of my courses. Before I got my final grade I tired to get into another online course. After realizing I can’t keep up with the workload I have had the hardest time trying to get removed from the course and I’m doing all this while in a field op I have over 60 credits with Valencia and they have shown no grace. Down below is an email I sent to Valencia. “I was informed that I was on academic probation and wouldnt be able to register for classes until it was fixed. However the science department manually enrolled me into my course. I was under the impression that even though that I was manually added to the course that I would be automatically withdrawn from the course. Im am currently deployed and have been deployed since the beginning of January so I did not have the resources to log in to check my account. I really dont want to waste money on a class that I was not supposed to be assigned to being on academic probation. “ to no avail I’m very disappointed with the outcome of this situation.

She has kept in touch since the day I made inquiries about the programs offered at the university, through the application process, the wait for admission, all the way to starting my first class. She is a great student support for real. 5 stars to her!

Miara Hird I am truly sorry to give such a low rating, but communication with admin and financial aid is non existent, very delayed, etc. Whomever answers the front desk could have better empathy when they see the same student calling 5-10 times a day, but she doesn’t. She doesn’t care at all. The ONLY good thing about this school is the Professors I had. They were on point. Everything else, not good at all.

Valeria Ramos I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Florida Technical College. I found the medical assisting with x-ray program lacking structure, communication, and real-world preparation. Administrative support was poor. Financial aid was a joke. They told me one thing and then hit me with something completely different later. Now I’m drowning in loans for a program that was inconsistent and left me completely unprepared. Constant changing of professors which creates a gap in student learning. They care more about signing people up than actually helping students succeed. I would never recommend this school to anyone.

Jose L Sanchez Urbina If anyone is thinking on being a student at Keiser University I would recommend it completely as it’s a great school. I started out going for a bachelor in forensic science and I can say my experience has been great because I have gotten the opportunity to learn many things in my classes and I enjoy that in the classes is very hands on! So you get to do most of the things your self to help you be better prepare in your field of study. The teachers, financial faculty have helped me in every step of the way to make my life easier and to be able to focus on learning. Everyone here is very understanding and willing to help you at any time. I been here for almost 2 years and i really enjoy it.

Julia Leader The nursing program at Keiser Orlando was genuinely something out of a nightmare. There have been times where this program has functioned SO ridiculously, it felt like a prank. Every single aspect is unorganized. A select few of the professors take their jobs seriously. The administration simply does not care to improve the program because once you’re in, it’s pretty impossible to transfer any credits to a new school. We had inaccurate exams, missing schedules, miscommunicated information left and right. Every day was a new low. No one was in charge. It truly felt like a scam. I cannot stress this enough- this is a BOTTOM OF THE BARREL choice for nursing school. If you have any enemies, I urge you to send them here.

Katie Victoria Keiser University is a private school, although as expensive as it is, it is one of the best schools that you can go through for nursing and forensic investigation as it not only has educational classes but practical ones as well with Hands-On activities for practice. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful, always available. My guidance counselor emailed with me as a form of contact throughout my first year which I found incredible to know that I had someone reliable to go to. There is a security person circling indoor and outdoor of the building at all times for safety.

Luis Hiram Words cannot begin to describe my experience at AGMU. The institution has restore my faith in education. I chose this Universidad due to its cultural and international global reach. I’ve opted for a bilingual and multicultural education that transcends race, ethnicity, and class. The institute services not only Latinos who are Spanish speakers but people from all nations. Its staff is highly engaged in establishing community and professional links. They are experience and enthusiastic to teach. The staff is supportive and always willing to work with students to help them learn and apply the knowledge within their own constraints, in short, the institution works with student without compromising their development . The institution is a home for working professional and other seasoned adults with experience and who seek change in their own life as well as feel a calling for humanitarian labor. The classes are instructive, relatable to real world circumstances, educational, and yet impassioned. AGMU is one of a kind. If you give yourself the opportunity and work with staff, you’ll have an experience yet to be define because it is an institution that exceeds expectation, and redefines the standards. Yes some professors may be unconventional, however, it is their diversity of experience , uniqueness, backgrounds, and heart which will set you aside as a well rounded and innovative professional . They do well at teaching theories and models applicable in the real world. Give the institution a try! I can genuinely say, that I have no regrets and my sense of pride in the institution and in myself has increase with every passing moment. Thank you AGMU !

Beneda Maldonado At this university there are no laws, no rules that respect, no the human rights neither. There is discrimination, mockery, and unjustified envy... there is also a lot of gossip. They steal your money, and there are professors who do not deserve to be called that, they are mediocre. The management lacks expertise and ethics. You graduate and you cant get a job because nobody wants someone who studied at this university. They certify students even if they have bad grades. They persecute students who complain about abusive teachers. Its not a real university.

To put things into perspective I have a Associates Degree from a state college and a culinary degree from a trade school as well as completing my bachelors degree in Hospitality Management at Rosen CHM. Never had I experienced any of the horrors I had to deal with during any of my educational endeavors as I had while I attended Rosen College of Hospitality Management. This school cost me a tremendous amount of time while I researched the documentation of several employees here who engaged in collusion, attempting to get me kicked out of school. The administration here is the absolute worst and I found UCF promoted the department chair of Tourism, from Rosen, over to the main college, as Associate Dean, after I exposed her for being an abusive individual. Do not believe all the hype about Rosen College being the best hospitality management school in the nation. It is filled with psychopaths and narcissists! Also, if you think that should something like what had happened to me also happen to you and you will find an attorney to sue the largest university in the country good luck with that (I found no capable attorney willing to help me).

In 2014 a close family member went there to get a certificate as a Pharmacy Technician, not only did she got in a $15K+ student loan debt, she was never able to get a job in the field she studied for (as she was promised) but on top of that we found out a year ago that the school along with its parent company were guilty of commiting Federal Loans Fraud, leaving my family member in debt, with a degree that is worth for nothing, and time wasted. Beware of chosing this school, dont waste your time, the campus will be closing soon and youll be completely disappointed & heartbroken. Were still dealing with the Federal Student Loans Department in hopes that because we qualify, due to the fraud commited by this school, her loans might be waived. Just keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for a better outcome from the awful experience we had to endure. Heed our advice & dont go here.

Masood Ejaz Very nice building. Both Valencia and UCF offer their engineering and technology classes here. Good equipped labs and plenty of parking. Valencia Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering program is housed here, which is an excellent ABET accredited program.

Aquanetta Felix Ive enjoyed my time at the school taking up medical assisting. They work with your daily schedule so you can have time to be a mother and work. The instructors are willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you accomplished your goals.

Liline Senat I was looking for a nursing school then I found this one “ I called & went to the school to meet with one of their admissions & Ive met with Joshua “ He scheduled me to take a teas test which you have to take before entering to the program “ He said it’s 3 attempts in the beginning which was not bad anyway I went to take the test The lady upstairs with that big ole scarf on her head was already given me a hard time because I was 3 mins late which is fine with me Because it’s nursing school you Got to be on time , so I had to rescheduled.I was mad then I get over it anyway I didn’t pass for the first time so They had to schedule me again “ They waited 2 days before I go there to tell me their policy has changed I have to contact Ati Teas for another attempt which they could’ve told me in the beginning so I didn’t have to waste my time waiting on them “ I could’ve searched for another school since I had a whole month ahead of me , I’m not sure if it’s because I’m African but Am also a US Citizen & for them to change a policy before I took my exam Was very disappointed they had already asking me if I have a support system because I went with my kids so They judge me because they think I don’t have help or I’m not sure why they did what they did to me “ He said I Have to wait for another 3 months which I’m not going to do “ I would not go Back to that Racism place ..

Selenia Mercado I am currently enrolled in the medical assisting program and i love the support that I receive from the program director and I love that she’s also my teacher throughout the program as well. I want to add that she has been helpful with resolving the issues I do have with the school. The downside I have been having with the school in general is there is a lot of communication errors. My student services person had told me and my boyfriend when enrolling in my first term classes that my credit for medical terminology was transferred over and I did not need to retake the course. However midway into first term I am enrolled in medical terminology and it is very frustrating and I have gone back and forth with them and at the end of the day I still have to take it as Medical Assisting students do not get their credits transferred even though i was told it would. On top of that, financial aid is a little frustrating as they had double charged me and added a fee for it not going through even though it did and I provided pictures and all they said was basically sorry and they removed the fee. It’s a lot of frustrating things but I will say that is specific to the school and not the program I’m enrolled in.
