Top Rated 5 University in Bradenton, FL - A Smart Choice for the Future

Aubrey Grinsell This is a great college, the best I’ve ever attended. I’m so sad that I chose to move on to a “real university “ rather than pursing my bachelors right here. I’m currently attending one of the largest public universities in Florida and it’s nowhere near as good as SCF Bradenton. My public university offers no sense of individuality, it’s a cookie cutter curriculum with Teaching Assistants instructing upper division courses while earning their doctorate. We are not their full time job, as students were simply another assignment, a box to check on their way to graduation. Every professor I had at SCF Bradenton was experienced and well versed within their respective fields. The students attending their courses are and always will be their full time job, as we should be. Everybody here wants to see you succeed, you’re treated as an individual rather than a number listed beside 50,000 others. For anyone looking to attend SCF Bradenton, I highly recommend you do so. For those already in attendance, do not give in to external pressure from family/peers telling you to get an AA and move onto a “university”. Stay here, get your bachelors with a high quality education and individualized experienced. Nobody wants to be another number, take it from me.

Jim White Very good venue. The seats are comfy and the ushers are very helpful. No concessions for events and plenty of parking. Its a large stage and the sound is good.

Kerissa T I got my associates degree here and loved it! I met amazing people and had great science professors especially biology related courses. Small classes were very helpful and lab courses were well put together. Also much cheaper than starting out at a university. Highly recommend!

Raya Silva Honestly, MY PERSONAL experience within the nursing curriculum/class was horrible. I felt overlooked & as if the instructor did not care about my well-being & if I succeeded or not. I witnessed multiple classmates of color being treated different. I will continue my education & succeed in my future career but I will not continue with this specific campus, unfortunately.

Marta Webb My experience here at the East Campus was awful! My instructor was horrible! She was very rude, and talked down to us, getting really upset if we did something wrong and contradicting herself constantly, so I never knew which way was right. It was extremely frustrating and stressful! I dropped my class after only a few days because I knew that if I went any longer, I would end up most likely walking out one day & by then I wouldn’t get my tuition back. I’ve never dealt with someone like that before and I know that I cannot learn under so much pressure and stress! My career counselor, Amy Gates, was so helpful and supportive throughout my entire process. She was great and also all of the other staff that I dealt with were also really nice, and helpful.

J D I went here for my LPN a couple of years ago and it was a mess. I graduated, but it was a wreck. They gave us a final that no one got above a 70 on. They did throw it out, but it was wild. As for clinical experiences... they didnt really have us doing any nursing stuff, we were mostly just assisting the aides at the facilities which looking back is kind of BS. We are there to learn to be a nurse, the first part of the program is CNA stuff so why did we only do that the entire rest of the program? Most of the time we werent even assigned to follow nurses, and instead just were given patients to do assessments on and you can imagine how that goes... literally all just direct care stuff. I think I got to do med pass a total of 3 or 4 times in the entire program. I just finished my RN program and realized comparatively how poor my education was here. I know direct care stuff is important, but when you walk out of the program with very little hands on experience with EMR charting and the actual responsibilities of nursing thats really not good.
