Went to several places for my AC(blowing fuses, not working at all)
Had me stomped, and I am a journeyman, mechanically inclined. I totally explained to them the symptoms as well as different events of it blowing fuses.
Most places told me I needed to leave my car with them for days, and they had to diagnose and then see what the problem was.
I just rode up to this garage and just happened to speak to the owner and explained things to him. He took a quick look and tested things and told me exactly the problem and about the cost. A whole lot less than anticipated and was fixed the same day. I had another vehicle, and he came by quickly to diagnose the problem as if it were second nature. Now, both are running fine, and I am forever grateful. Awesome people and their ability to make things very understandable.
