5 /5 ricky daniel: Traveling home from Atlanta back to south GA on a Sunday when my truck experienced extreme engine misfire. I got a room in Macon knowing I couldnt get home. A friend referred me to Calhoun Automotive, he knew the shop forman, Kevin. Kevin called me on a Sunday and told be to bring it Monday morning, that there would be a bay and a technician ready to look at it. Kristie at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Within 2 hours Kevin informed me of the problem (a nicked wire on an injector), reviewed the diagnostic report and the recommended service I needed. Due to the expenses of the hotel and tow, financially the recommended repairs were a strain at that moment. I was told I was safe to get home and I was charged basically only for the diagnostics. Calhoun Auto treated me fairly and quickly allowed me to get on my way home. Its always a concern when you are away from home and need service like this; will I be treated fairly? The answer is a resounding yes. I will absolutely recommend them, they are honest and professional.
