2 /5 T E DuPree-Thompson El: I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with services rendered by Conyers Car Care in Conyers, Georgia, for my 2004 Mini Cooper. A few months ago, I brought my vehicle to this facility after being assured it could be repaired. Following the diagnostic assessment and proposed solutions, I approved repairs exceeding $3,000. However, upon retrieving the vehicle, it became evident that the car remains unsalvageable, directly contradicting the initial assessment and the substantial charges incurred. The vehicle has since been moved to a salvage yard, representing a complete loss of my investment.
Another mechanic who specializes in foreign cars looked at the list of repairs that were on my invoice and shook his head in the tell tell way of calling bullshit. Questioning the “rust” charge and the fee for timing chain adjustments. I was refunded some of the charges but still ended up paying more than $2k.
Please verify what people say so you don’t end up spending thousands on useless/undone/bogus repairs.
