1 /5 Trenton Daniel: Rude and seems to be incompetent when it comes to cars. Came by during their advertised business hours to get an estimate on a muffler delete. The fellow who answered the door said, angrily, that he is ”always closed from Christmas to new year.” Where was the signage to indicate this? Why haven’t the hours been updated online? He seemed upset that we did not know his unpublished schedule. And slammed the door in our faces.
Furthermore, he stated that he doesn’t work on German cars. My car is not German. It’s Swedish. He then stated that we (Swedes) are the same as Germans. Excuse me?
Can you bend pipes? Can you weld? Then you CAN do a simple muffler delete. He also insinuated that he doesn’t work on Fords when I told him the car shares a platform with the Ford Focus. I don’t think he realizes that exhaust work is not necessarily more difficult because of a marque. And especially not a Swedish one. A Volvo will outlive you and your grandchildren. It’ll save them in a crash, too.
Long story short, I don’t think this place wants any business. I remember coming by 6 years ago with my F-150 and was literally told that it didn’t need an exhaust because it already sounded like a truck. ”Custom” shop my butt! Most bizarre shop I’ve ever been to!
