1 /5 Hannah Bullington: If you want a basic cut done this might be the place for you. Not me. I got an untraditional hair style, a shaggy cut, bangs, flippy hair style. I went in with nothing done to my hair, no bangs, nothing. My hair is my livelihood, it means the world to me, I sink more money into it than anything else recreationally. Triple digit shampoo and conditioner, treatments, supplements, so when I say I was devastated by what was done to me here, im not joking. I decided to get my hair done because my wedding is coming up and I wanted to support a small business in the process. The reviews were all good, everything seemed fine. I go in and ask if they accept walk ins, the girl says yes but shes about to go on her lunch so she will only be able to do a dry cut. I said okay, thats the only way to do this style anyways. She looked confused when I said that, I should have took the sign and walked out, but I didnt. I showed her 3 reference photos, and mentioned the last time I got this hair cut (about 6 years ago) the lady used a razor comb. This girl was using Scissors when I said that and she replied "yeah- I was just about to use those." She had no idea what she was doing, she chopped off HALF of my hair in the process- Ive had this cut before, she didnt need to take that much. When I left I had at least 20 hairs in my bangs that were down to my chin while most of the hair was above my lash line, she did a blunt chop right beside my ear for my wispy style, and made both sides drastically unsymmetrical. I went to the hair stylist I got it done by the first time and she couldnt even fix it. She cut off the dangling hairs and told me I would have to let it grow out. I cried for 5 days after getting this cut, and have resigned to wearing a wig to my wedding. Never going back, and warning everyone I know.
