4 /5 Gerald Cummings: Honest & did excellent work. I am very happy with the repairs. Just need to follow up with customer to give updates on when the car will be ready. My car was not ready as promised due to them starting the repair work late and not calling to inform me. My car sat in their shop for a couple of days before they started the repair work. I had to call to get updates.

2 /5 Bolden Brett (Beastly Gamer): Ive been going to JB Auto for years, but this latest experience proved without a doubt that theyre no longer a shop you can trust—they’re just in it for the money now. I needed my A/C compressor replaced on my vehicle. JB Auto quoted me a whopping $2,700 for the job—$1,500 in labor alone for a job that takes no more than 4 hours. Absolutely insane. For the same work—compressor, drier, expansion valve, PAG oil, full system recharge and test—I went across the street to Tara Auto Service, located right behind Wayfield. They did the exact same repair for $1,150 total. No games, no price gouging, no inflated labor costs. After years of loyalty, I realized JB Auto is price-gouging loyal customers. Theres no reason for such an outrageous quote unless they’re hoping you won’t check around. Im beyond disappointed. On the flip side, I’m thrilled I found Tara Auto Service. Fast, honest, and competent—everything JB Auto used to be. Save your money and go to Tara. JB has lost my business for good.

My car didn’t pass emissions with the guy next door, and I left it here at JB’s for 4 days while I was out of town… I said ‘please do what you can to make it pass emissions.’ I got a call from the rep, and after she tried to politely UPSELL me on everything, I told her ‘please just do the minimum to get it to pass the emissions….. I’m on a budget.’ Somehow, they came up with the idea that if they change my “spark plugs” it will probably pass an emissions test. Of course, they were taking advantage of me being naïve and young….. I get back to pick up my car. Bill was $200 for LABOR and $100 for the spark plugs…WTFFFF!!?!? And this was AFTER they gave me an additional $60 off discount for being a bit unhappy with their services… so they charged me $300. Still left unhappy. Car still wouldn’t pass emissions. They very DEFINITELY weren’t trying to legitimately help. Only make a buck. There’s a lot more to the story. It took me several more weeks and several different mechanics.. only to find out… the only ISSUE was that there was a piece of paper/napkin that was blocking my check engine light from appearing (on/off) on the dash….

1 /5 Elisandra Salgado: Juan bueno isn’t worth it. Make sure you get everything on paper before they start. They give you a code for what needs to be fixed and replace something else that isn’t the issue. They give you a quote for something and don’t abide it. How do you put two service together and when you get one done and STILL HAVE TO WAIT for them to call you back with availability you have to fully pay for another service, when you had already agreed on one whole price for both services. Ridiculous. They just keep your car and move it to another location without your consent. Not even the receptionist knows what’s going on. Horrible service!
