5 /5 Pieter-Michiel Geuze: Mainstream Automotive was recommended by other automotive service companies that I have used and they all had the highest recommendation for Brad.
I had a problem with a cylinder in the Jeep and I was worried about the possibility that the oil I found would require disassembling the engine for expensive work. Instead, Brad was able to figure out that I had placed the wrong spark plugs, as well as a failing ignition coil. I appreciated Brads honesty in identifying that my previous choice of spark plugs would not be worth putting in a lawnmower. While funny it was also honest and helped me understand how to take care of my vehicle better in the future.
Brad also identified that my battery was also failing, which I already knew but I did not tell Brad. This leads me more to believe that when he tells you that something needs to be fixed, it is not because he is trying to upsell you on something you dont need.
I also had the opportunity to listen to Brad talking to a lady who had called in about bringing her vehicle in for work. From my end, it sounded like she was asking about every possible combination of problems and solutions for the problem on her vehicle. I noted that Brad took the time to speak to her on all of her questions and that Brad had the technical knowledge to discern what she would need instead of just telling her that she had to bring the vehicle in before he could tell her anything.
Overall I was very happy with the service, knowledge, and effort that I received while I was at Mainstream Automotive. I also paid a fair price for the parts and work that I needed to have done. I also really liked the shop area was clean and orderly, and that the waiting/receiving area was nicely decorated and comfortable if you have to wait.
Thank you for the great service that you provided for my old Jeep.
