5 /5 Cynthia Smith: My mom has been getting our family’s cars taken care of at Nick’s for as long as I can remember, as have other members of my extended family—and they ALL swear by Nick’s! I never had any reason to doubt them, but between buying my own car for the first time and this week (2 years later), I had never needed to patronize any mechanics myself. Well, that has now changed, and these days I’m just as big a fan of Nick’s as my mother is!
A couple of days ago, I was in rush hour traffic on my way to Atlanta for an early morning appointment with my neurosurgeon when my brakes started making some very frightening grinding noises. It was so stressful that I was in anxious tears by the time I got to the hospital, and I still had to drive the car back to Powder Springs at the end of it! I white-knuckled it back in the direction of home, using my brakes as little as possible and praying my sweet baby Prius could make it all the way to where I needed to go. Luckily, she did, and when I got to Nick’s, it only took them about 3 and a half seconds to diagnose the noise—it was, in fact, a funeral dirge for my entirely deceased brake pads. To my enormous relief, I was told that my brake pads and axles could be replaced that same day.
I called my mom to see if she could pick me up until my friends at Nick’s made it to my car in their work queue, but she was in a meeting at work and couldn’t leave. I resigned myself to sitting there in the garage’s office waiting for hours and hours (and didn’t mind doing so, because it was so wonderfully kind of the Nick’s Automotive team to fit me in their schedule!). As it turned out, however, the repair was very quick—I was only there for about an hour and a half! Even better, though, they didn’t just do the job quickly… they did it affordably, too! Everyone I’ve mentioned all of this to in the last few days has commented what good a price I got! I’m so thankful for the honest, hard-working mechanics at Nick’s. ❤️❤️❤️
If you need work done, take your vehicle to Nick’s. You won’t regret it.
